The Machine [Open/Accepting]

"Of course. I'm Kyrell. Prince of Helmsh-" Kyrell began to introduce himself as he was pushed in the back of the knee and as the brat he was then and now, he wasn't going to take it lying down. He grabbed the twins both by the hair and said, "So what shall it be? Spanking, water torture, upside down treatment, tickle treatment, isolation, or my father's all time favorite? Dragged across mud and feces on the back of an ox plow?"

Zil stepped in, trying to take hold of Kyrell's arms to make sure he isn't hurting the twins too much. He said, trying to plea with the prince, "Now, now. You did a lot of things to deserve those punishments as a kid. Can't you let them off for a lighter sentence?"

Kyrell chuckled and said, "Insult against the crown and the monarchy is a crime worthy of capital punishment. I am the crown prince and a representative of the monarchy. Don't you think those sentences are too light?"

Zil stepped back. They were on Helmshirish land and Helmshire laws apply so there's really no way around this except to ask for help. He beeped Shadow's communicator, hoping she would come and beat the crap out of the prince before he seriously jeopardized their chances of gaining technology from the twins. 'I knew this was a baaaad idea from the start' he thought to himself.

Monica sighed as the day began to end. She had with her interrogation reports for six different prisoners.... Slow day. She headed back to HQ to file them. The comfort of her own office sounded nice compared to the loud, irritating sounds inside the camps.

"Hello?" Shadow asked, picking up her ringing communicator.

Both of the twins screamed when their hair was pulled, and they began kicking the prince's legs while grabbing his wrists to loosen his grip on their hair.
"So what if you're the son of the king." Vincent snapped.
"We're the kids of Diethelm's leader." Valkyrie continued.
"That makes us equal!" Vincent continued.
"No, no. They actually need us. We build things." Valkyrie told Vincent. "That means that unlike him, we're actually useful."
"How true sister. How could I have forgotten." Vincent laughed. "If you kill us, not only will you make father mad, but you'll be a wrecking ball for the machines we built, and there's nothing you can do to stop them! You'll see!" At that both of the twins began to laugh almost crazily while still trying to loosen his grip on their hair. Of course, the twins didn't actually realize that their designs were already being used and causing catastrophic damage to Helmshire.

Zil began to say in his most humble tone, "Get back here, please?"

"And I hear that the leader of the rebels doesn't intend on using you to build machines. He's probably just keeping you to piss off your father then so I'm pretty sure we can do anything with you" He bluffed. "And get real. You're on my land. My rules" Kyrell said, pulling a little more.

"Sure." Shadow said then turned to Saiyu. "Sorry. Got to run. Zil's having issues apparently."

"Daddy..."
"Actually..."
"Cares?" The twins stuttered with surprise. The grimaced as their hair was pulled harder, but in their hearts, they were overwhelmed to hear that their father actually cared about them. Their eyes began to water with happiness despite the pain.

Saiyu's jaw dropped as she rubbed at her side. The same turse tone of voice, the same deadly glare and the same greeting she had always recived from her team leader was coming from someone clearly to young to be her captin, to young to be shadow. Eyes wide in shock Saiyu opened and closed her mouth a few times, he brain drawing a blank as to who this could be other then Shadow. "I..uh..yeh..n..nice to..s..see....you?" The red heads voice came out as a quiet squeak. It was safe to say that Saiyu wasn't dealing very well with this situation very well at all.

The soft beep from the communicator snapped her from the revier and, with a nervouse laugh, Saiyu followed Shadow down the hall way "k..Kyrell is with Zil....if somethings..w..wrong I guess I should make sure he's not making an absoluet a** of
himself....if thats ok...sh...shadow?....". The name came out as a soft whisper. A question. Almost as f the girl woman in front of her would turn around at any minuet, laughing and Shadow - the real Shadow would pop up any moment calling her an idiot.

Rafael raised an eyebrow and zoomed in onthe current CCTV stream he was viewing, his face cracking into a grin at the princes brash treatment of the two children. Personaly he thought the punishments seemd to soft for the demonic sporn of the Absolute leader. shoving his head phones Rafael tapped into Zil's communicator "The princess is probably right you know. Those demonic little b*******s wouldn't be half as much trouble with two broken legs" Though the technicion held a light, almost happy tone of voice it was obvious that he was completeley serious about his suggestion.

Shadow stopped and turned back to Saiyu. "Sure." Shadow replied, then let out an irritated sigh. "Look, I'm not exactly taking this the best either." Shadow said, gesturing to all of herself. "The scientists said they were curing me of something, and I wake up and this happened. Just shut your mouth and come on if your coming." She said, turning back and heading over to see Zil with the DVD.

"He'll be pissed about the machines, definitely" Kyrell said. He didn't know either if the Absolute Leader would care enough for the twins as his children though.

Zil laughed a little as he received Rafael's call. He said cheefully back, "Glad to see you're in such a good mood" He then turned to the prince and said, "Someone seems to be agreeing with you"

"Oh really?" Kyrell asked with a smirk. He continued, "So let's drag them across the field on an ox plow tomorrow morning?"

"Ugh, that isn't what I meant" Zil asked, trying his best to gently coerce Kyrell's hands into letting go of the twins. He said, "You know? These kids are cute. Making them bald will completely ruin that"

The twins looked up at Kyrell giving him their well rehearsed 'guilty' look.

"Zil, I'm back." Shadow grumbled, walking towards the twin's room with the DVD. "Now what is this crisis that you've been talking about? Did they blow up something again? KYRELL!! GET YOUR F****** HANDS OFF THEM RIGHT NOW!!" Shadow snapped.

"They've... insulted the prince" Zil said bluntly. Of course, for any ordinary person, this entails severe punishment but those were just kids.

"What?" Kyrell let go of the twins when Shadow came. He said, "Don't you think 'Spare the rod, spoil the child' comes into play here?"

"Yes. I do." Shadow replied sternly, slapping Kyrell in the back of the head. "Now twins, what did I tell you?" She told them wafting the DVD in front of their face.

"That if we were good, we'd get to watch fighting robots, right?" Valkyrie smiled.

"Yes. Now, here's the DVD but you got yourselves into trouble didn't you."

"Yes..." They both said, looking up at Shadow with their big eyes and regretful expression.

"Now what do you have to say for yourselves?" She asked the twins.

The twins stopped and looked at each other before looking back at Shadow.
"We don't like him." Valkyrie started.
"Yeah. He's a pompous jerk." Vincent continued.
"We are not going to apologies to him." Valkyrie finished sternly.

"Did I say you had to apologies?" Shadow asked.

"No..." The twins replied.

"Then what do you have to say for yourself." Shadow asked.

"Well..." The twins muttered in thought.
