__ A delicious piece of hastily buttered toast wagged up and down between the blur of a blue-haired girl approaching the Kazekage's building. "Hnnmmn! Ehdndntrlezhatmntmz! Hnnmssuuuult!!!" Zhi grunted to herself while looking down to pull the graduation papers from her pocket. THUMP! "Gak!?" Zhi gasped as she bounced back off of something large and fluffy, watching her toast fly up in an estranged arc before it'd fall down into the sand as she did. 'Welp, there goes breaky...' She thought defeatedly. Hearing the light bread plop onto the ground, Zhi sighed and sat up to see what she'd run into. Her eyes set upon the large bird standing at the bottom of the steps. Zhi's jaw dropped and she stuttered, "B-b-b-big bird!?" She jumped back up to her feet, snatching up the toast then tossing it to thunderbird. "ReallysorrybutIgottajet!" Zhi waved while running past, "It'sreallygoodbread, promise!"
The young kunoichi-to-be navigated the building with haste until she arrived at the correct room. The office's door swung open for another visitor, but she paused with one foot already inside. "Oops! Shoulda knocked first. Dur!" Zhi promptly stepped back, gently closing the office's door again. A firm triad of knocks rapped against the wood then she announced with an apparent quickness to her words, "Excuse me Kazekage-san-sama!! May I come in and have a headband so I can become a full-fledged ninja!?" Zhi cracked the door open to peek inside waiting for an answer before reentering completely this time. 'Oh how exciting! I get to meet Ayane Hatake in person! Oooh, I hope she's nice. Nonono! She has to be cool- awesome even!' Starlit, Zhi's eyes scanned over the others already in the room, now realizing more than before that she might be interrupting.

Taylor waited while the kage to get around to her. She seemed rather busy with all of her other responsibilities. This was anticipated since she was the leader of the village. However, as Taylor was waiting, a loud bird cry came from the doorway of the office. With a horrified look Taylor turned around to see Horus trapped in between the door frame trying desperately to get in. 'Horus why...' Taylor panicked internally as sweat came down his face while the bird continued to yell. It was at that moment in his right hand two headbands were slipped into his grasp. Taylor turned around and he could have sworn he saw a dog disappear back to the Kazekage. While he didn't have the time to think about who actually gave it to him, he was grateful so that he could handle this embarrassing situation. Before he left however, he gave one of the headbands to the blue haired girl. "Please return this to the kage." He begged since whoever gave him the headbands gave him one extra. Taylor then started the delicate work of getting the bird out of the doorway and back down to outside the office. When he got outside he fixed the bird's ruffled feathers and sighed at Horus' actions.
"Just what were you thinking?" He asked earnestly. Horus turned to face the boy and gave him a familiar cry. Taylor turned his head as he heard it. "Food?" He asked. The bird nodded and lowered his head to the ground. Taylor followed the gaze and sure enough, beside the sand were the remnants of bread crumbs. "Someone gave you food?" Taylor asked as he raised his head. Horus' head also rose as the bird nodded. Taylor sighed once again as he made the conclusion aloud. "So since someone fed you, you decided to go inside of the building to try and get more food." The bird nodded once more and Taylor just looked away. "Well, at least we have the headband." Taylor said as he looked at the headband in his left hand. One more thing off of the list.

__ Zhi stepped back when the blond boy came to exit the room, handing off a headband to her in the process. She accepted it, and his request in the process, but just watch him head out for a few seconds. Zhi glanced down at the plated piece of cloth in her left hand then trotted into the room. "Here you go Kazekage-san-sama!" She placed the headband at the edge of the desk then bowed. It seemed that she'd have to pay a visit to get to officially meet the leader later. Zhi cheerfully saluted Ayame with her right hand, showing off the Sunagakure forehead protector attached to the front of the scar wrapped around her neck. "Bye bye!" She then bowed to excuse herself and sprinted out of the room again, somehow managing to gently close the door behind her. After running back through the halls in the direction she came, Zhi found the large bird and the blond boy together outside. "Oooh, hi again Big Bird!" She jogged in place for a bit while she waved to the pretty sky creature, and sorta too the boy too.
Horus started to chirp excitedly when Zhi appeared. The large bird moved one foot in front of the other until it was right within her face, despite Taylor's objection. Hectically the bird's head bounced up, down, and all around Zhi's body as it looked for more food. It was then that Taylor forced himself in between the bird and the girl as he wrapped his arms around Horus in order to push him back. "Sorry! Horus gets a little excited when people give him food." Taylor said without turning back. The bird eagerly tried to push past the boy, but did not use any sort of force since he did not want to hurt the child either. "He's going to be like this for a while. I'm sorry for the intrusion." Taylor said. All of this time the boy didn't even realize that this was the same kid he asked just moments ago to return the headband. His mind was so focused on his avian companion that he couldn't indulge in any other thoughts except how to contain him.

__ Despite already having run into the bird before, he definitely seemed bigger up close. Zhi's bright blue eyes followed Horus' movements as he investigated her, not really minding in the least. She stopped bouncing up and down to ponder on the bird's given name. "Horus, huh? God of war, hunting and the sky. That's a really neat name!" She was hyperactive in more ways than one could bare to count, and learning miscellaneous factoids mixed in just fine with her. Zhi's compliment was promptly followed by an outstretched fist, offered for a friendly bump. "I'm Zhi, Zhi Zenshin. You can call me Zippy if ya want!" Before she waited for a response she also said, "Hey, I was gonna go get a jumpstart on my training- wouldn't mind a few partners to practice with if yer available and can keep up~!" These two seemed like an interesting pair. Zhi wondered what the rest of her ninja peers would be like.
Taylor never knew the history of Horus' name. For as long as he knew the bird that was just what his name was. It was the only word the massive bird knew how to trace in the sand, meaning that someone clearly taught him how to spell his name. Still, Taylor never gave much thought to it. He wondered though how appropriate it was for his friend to be named after a god of war, since he was more like a god of impulsiveness and pride. Still though, Taylor turned his head around after the girl introduced herself, and removed his right hand so that it could stretch behind his back and match her fist bump with his own. "I'm Taylor. It's nice to meet you Zippy." He said even though Zhi already past the point of introductions and moved to the point of offering for sparring partners. My this girl talked fast. Taylor had to think a moment before he focused his head and right arm back up to the bird who still wanted more food from Zhi. Maybe getting attacked by her would quell his appetite. "Sparring sounds like a great idea. Doesn't it Horus?" Taylor asked in a way which implied that they were going to do it regardless of the bird's opinion. Thankfully Horus was cooperative as he backed away from the kid, which allowed Taylor to relax his body and limbs, and screeched out in excitement. "That means he's in." Taylor said as he turned around, finally noticing who he has been talking to. Talk about luck that it was the same girl who he passed by in the office.

__ After the fist bump Zhi rested her hands on her hips, smiling merrily as she came to know the boy's name as well. With the two of them in agreement for her offer she allowed her smile to grow into a stupid grin, "Hoho! Yosh! Follow me to the dojo at the training grounds!" Zhi's left fist pumped into the air excitedly and she took off, "Try to keep up!" She said in passing at mostly full speed. "Yaaahhooooooo!!" Zhi cheered while leaving the Kazekage's building in her dust. It was time to start her first official adventure as a kunoichi of the Hidden Sand!! She mostly just wanted to learn new techniques, but who could argue with the counter offer of a sparring partner? Heck, she was getting two!!

Taylor would have sworn the girl teleported with the speed she moved. He couldn't even respond to one sentence before Zippy zipped off. "She's.... certainly energetic." He said as he watched a cartoon dust trail disappear into the distance. It was a good thing he knew the way to the dojo otherwise he would have had no chance to find it. Taylor started off on the walk while Horus flew off. He wouldn't arrive as quickly as she would, but he wasn't a slouch either. Overall, it would be nice to have someone new to interact with. For as long as he can remember it was just him and Horus, so some additional company is swell.

__ A boy could be seen running, past the distant sand devils and people alike. This was the day, the day he could finally call himself a ninja and be granted that which was owed to him from birth. Hikaru had always felt a sense of pride in the fact that he was the best at what he did. Even with minuscule ninjutsu knowledge his hand to hand combat was unmatched throughout the academy spars. Stopping before the building briefly he took a moment to gaze himself over, a good appearance and first impression was a must in every situation. He gazed up to the sun and chuckled whislt muttering " Heh, Two minutes earlier than I thought. " Without another second passing by the boy entered the Kazekage building and headed straight for the Kages office. He came upon the woman he knew was the leader of their great village and spoke quickly without missing a beat. " Hello Madam Kage. My name is Hikaru Koi and Im here to get my headband so I can continue serving this great village as intended. " It seemed like more of a demand than a request but that was Hikaru, always thinking everything was owed to him and he deserved the world. At least he refrained from insults, he knew better than that when in the presence of a leader figure. His hand was held outstretched palm up, ready to receive his prize.

Ayame blinked at the amount of genin in her office then gave a short growl at the speed and the audacity of them to just take a headband. Sparks danced from her fingertips as she clenched her fist. The genin were getting too complacent, she thought as she moved her hand to her back placing it on the hilt of her sabre. It took the lightning giving off a faint glow before dissipating. Daichi looked at his tamer as another genin made his way into her office. He rumbled off a hello, before placing his head in her lap. Ayame watched the genin and raised an eyebrow as he held out his hand. After assessing him for a moment she dug around in the drawer and tossed a headband at the boy. "Welcome to the ranks. Now I must be going." She said before both she and Daichi disappeared in a cloud of smoke.

__ He smiled as the headband took to the air and grabbed it without hesitation. Hikaru then gave a slight bow and followed the Kage out of her office and headed out to begin his new path in life. A new adventure with plenty of great accomplishments along the way. (Exit)

Atsuma walked slowly towards the Kazekage's office. The sun was beating at his pale skin that day. He was covered in rags to hide himself. Sun screen made him look silly. He hated being mocked or looked at funny. Even though he did look hilarious covered in them.
The Kazekage ordered new gennin to pick up their headbands from her and that's just what he would do. Well mannered Atsuma always following the rules. Grade A student, model son, prodigious musician and skill genjutsu specialist. His future looked bright. The boy made his way to the Kazekage's secretary who informed him that she had actually just left. Atsuma gave the secretary a warm small and bowed respectfully. "Well then! I guess I must wait. A shinobi without patience is no ninja at all." He said before taking a seat in one of the chairs outside of her office. The secretary smiled and went back to doing her little things at her desk.
The sun was like some demonic entity in Atsuma's life that struck down upon him relentlessly day after day. However the nights in Sunagakura were almost as cold as the land of snow. As he made his way through the crowded streets with sand and dust in the air, he felt repulsed by the people around him. Someone bumped into him and he felt like clawing his flesh out. He tried getting to the office as quickly as possible. Once he was there Atsuma immediately noticed the secretary. She was beautiful. Her skin looked soft from where he stood. He wanted to caress it so badly. Maybe if he could find some excuse to touch her hands. He needed it. HE WANTED IT. She told him the Kazekage wasn't available and a wave of happiness went through his body. He didn't care anymore. He wanted to observe her more. Atsuma sat down quietly and stared at the secretary while she wasn't looking. Imagining how nice it would be to watch her eyes as the life flowed from her neck. Would she resist? Would she let go? Oh the possibilities!
The secretary raised an eyebrow at the boy as he paid a little too much attention to her. She shrugged her shoulders and pulled out multiple headbands of different colors. "I'm sorry, Lady Kazekage is busy at the moment, but I do have headbands for you. The ANBU have assured me after she has dealt with her business she will be heading to the academy. If you would like to train and wait to meet the Kazekage. Otherwise I hope you have a pleasant evening." She said smiling.
