Zane smiled as he pulled out a few kunai and deflected the oncoming knives before vaulting over the shurikin and grabbing the center. Once he had it he hurled it at Nowe and formed the handsigns to the Fireball Jutsu.

Nowe drew his katana and hit the demon wind shuriken away from him. Matching Zane's tactice, he prepared his ownfireball jutsu and fired, clashing it with the other.

This will be interesting. Zane thought with a smile as he used Kikou's technique to sink into the ground, Nowe's Fireball pushing past where Zane had been.

Nowe watched as the fire passed by, and was suprised to see no one there. "Wh...what the hell!" He looked around, trying to find Zane, either laughing or burned and wounded. "Oh s**t..oh s**t...Zane!" He ran to where Zane had been, looking around. To his knowledge, Zane could only do fire and lightning jutsu, so in his mind, Zane could have just burned to ash in that fireball.

"You do realize that I can hear you right?" Zane said with a smile, it was taking every ounce of hi will power not to bust out laughing at Nowe as he held his Kunai at Nowe's throat.

Nowe blinked a bit in confusion before laughing, "Alright...so you can do more then lightning and fire, my bad." He then shook his head, "Oh do I feel silly." Nowe suddenly exploded, and another one falling down from the sky, "but I'm not stupid." He slashed his katana downwards, sending a wave of fire at Zane.

 The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Hearing Nowe's panicked tones, Kiri looked up just in time to catch part of the battle. She giggled at the look on Nowe's face, the confusion written there. She smirked, watching the fight. Leaning back against a tree, she stopped working on her rasengan for a bit, tired. So she watched the fight instead.  The tiger that should be....isn't....

"Good, then we're on the same page." Zane said with a smile as his clone disappeared and he emerged from the ground. Earth Style: Rising Pillar! Zane thought, using the second technique he had learned off Kikou to send a large pillar of rock straight up towards Nowe.

Nowe cursed under his breath as the rock pillar rushed up towards him. He held out his free hand, pressing his palm to the rock. The seal on his glove activated, and the rock pillar exploded. Landing on the ground and covered in a few burns, Nowe let out a sigh of relief, "That was a close one." Immediatly he was back on the move, running at Zane and moving a series of steps of swinging his katana at his oppenet.

Zane dodged each slash expertly before finally jumping back a ways. "Sorry to do this, but practice makes perfect." Zane said as he formed the handsgins to the Chidori. And go! Zane shouted to himself in his mind as he ran towards Nowe, he only had a short time before the technique deactivated and he had to close that distance fast.

Nowe's face was one of suprise, "Are you kidding me! I havn't even gotten to control it yet." He jumped back, activating his Rinnegan. "Shinra Tensei!" He held out his hands, using Gravity to throw Zane back off his feet.

The tiger that shouldn't be....is.... Kiri looked surprised, then frowned, as Zane used the Chidori. "Zane, are you sure it's a good idea to use that in a friendly match?" She called out to him. She didn't like the idea of Nowe being hurt by a technique that should have been his alone. The tiger that should be....isn't....

"That hurt." Zane said as he smacked into a tree. When he got up the Chidori was no longer active. Definitely need to work on that. Zane thought and began shuffling through his options. I hope this works. Zane thought. Fire Style: Dragon Flame Bombs!" Zane yelled as he fired the fireballs at Nowe before forming his Arc Lightning Jutsu. Gotta time it just right. Zane thought as he waited for the right moment.

I'll be damned before I'm taken out by my strongest jutsu. Nowe thought, watching the fireballs approach. For prides sake, he refused to be touched by a Chidori. He held out his hand, "Shinra Tensei" Gravity blasted away the fireballs, keeping him safe as he rushed forward. A new ability came to him. A black spike formed in his hand and he hurled it at Zane, aiming for the shoulder.

Now! Zane thought as he fired the lightning bolt at Nowe, barely dodging the black spike, the thing gave him a cut on his arm but that was about it.
