Kazuma shook his head. He had made some improve, no matter how small it may be. Satoshi did not seem to give up on Kazuma, but instead decided to change of pace from normal Ninjutsu. He watched him draw shuriken and explain the Manipulative Shuriken Technique. His eyes trailed as the shuriken were thrown. In some ways it reminded him of a yo-yo.
He was told that this type of technique was often use to bind a target and by throwing enough shuriken with wire then using a Katon Jutsu the wires would ignite creating a burning net and if nothing else a hard tug could bring them back to him minimizing the number of tools he would lose.
He drew a pair of Shuriken from his holster as well as some wire from his pocket. He began to thread the shuriken. It took a couple of tries to get them tied right be soon enough he was ready. He gripped them between his mid and ring fingers on both hand and threw then cross his chest. They flew like they normally did but the wires got crossed and they fell tangled.
He sighed as he yanked them closer and tried to undo them and try again. They traveled further and didn't get tangled up but he seemed to lack the finesse needed to get them to go the way he wanted with the threads. He stuck out the tip of his tongue from the corner of his mouth as he tried again.
Kazuma proved to be more adept at this techique than Gōkakyū, but that wasn't saying much as he could barely make a fireball. He turned to Satoshi looking for advise and criticism.

Ryouichi would walk closer to the academy, smiling under his mask as he did. Before he got too close he would cut his finger and slam his hand against the floor, summoning Izzy. Izzy would look at him slightly confused for a moment but, before Izzy could say anything, Ryouichi summoned Nanaki as well. "Open your mouth Izzy, I need to see something. Nanaki come with." He would say in a demanding tone and Izzy wouldn't think twice as he opened his mouth. Ryouchi would then climb inside with Nanaki collowing behind. "What's going on kid?" Nanaki would ask. "Don't ask questions, find the smallest chakra signature you can." Ryouichi would say and Nanaki would quickly do a scan over the area. "There is to small chakra signatures not to far away and one inside." Nanaki would say, then giving the exact area of the two small chakra signatures. "Izzy go there." Without a thought izzy would camouflage himself so no one could sense him or the other two. They would then get closer to the two signatures before Izzy would open his mouth, Ryouichi walking out. "Satoshi, I'm taking you on as my student. Do not question me." He would say, taking a glance at the other genin. "Follow me now Satoshi I will explain further as we go." With that Ryouichi would walk back inside Izzy's mouth, Izzy would then wait for Satoshi's decision on whether or not to get inside. If Satoshi so decide to get inside his mouth, the mouth would shut and Izzy would once again become camouflaged as he sunk into the ground.
(On phone) Satoshi gave a nod in approval, a smile forming upon his lips. Kazuma was making excellent progress. Before he could say anything else, the sound of a familiar voice drew his attention. He quickly turned to see Ryouichi, and a... Lizard? Satoshi tilted his head, frowning; confused. However, he did not question the higher-up, heading towards the lizard. Turning back to Kazuma, he pointed at the scrolls, "Sorry Kazuma. Our little training session ends here. Use those scrolls there to continue, and I'll come check on your progress as soon as I am able." Turning back, he looked into the lizards gaping maw, climbing inside. [Exit]
Shikatsu needed to do some training, having been thinking about it for a while already knew what he wanted to learn. He was Headed into a part of the academy that housed a water training area. This came with a deep pool and a misty fog area inside. He began by pulling out a suiton scroll and reading over the jutsu. He then did the hand signs as he walked into the misty fog. When he entered, his vision was completely gone from the amount of fog and closed his eyes. As he opened them, the jutsu activated and allowed him to see clearly through the fog.
Having this jutsu down, he went over and walked into the pool, all the way to the deepest part till he was under all the way. He did a small string of hand signs and breathed in. This jutsu allowed him to be able to breath under water by breathing in the oxygen that the water had within it. While this was a basic jutsu, he knew they'd come in handy.

Ryoku entered the Academy grounds briskly as if he was unable to stretch his legs in some time now. Chloe flew in behind him keeping to the air watching this woman that seemed to have followed him. Stopping near the building looking it over to still see some destruction in various places along with the scorch marks still burnt into the ground. Bending down he looked at the marks that were created from the attack that practically killed him. Running his hand along one of the lines of black grass it caused his recently healed wounds to pulse with pain some. 'That raiton was no joke. I must always be careful around that for future encounters.' Standing up he looked back to the girl heading in his direction curious about how closely related they might have been. Letting off a soft smile for her to see.

The Lone Shadow

Character is like a tree and reputation like a shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing.
Kira stopped behind the Hokage and looked up at the hawk that had stuck close to him and watched her the entire time. Kira had lived in the forest her entire life up til now, so she knew indigenous animals and their behavior patterns, this hawk didn't act like the average hawk, and seemed very attached to the Hokage. Kira looked up at the hawk and waved at her, then looked at the hokage as he looked at her and smiled. She wasn't sure of many things, but she'd watched two-leggers enough to know that gesture was usually a good thing, so she attempted to smile back, though hers was closer to a baring of fangs than a human smile, it was as close as she could get, since she didn't have much practice around two-leggers. Kira stood up, though she was still partially crouched since it was more comfortable for her, and tilted her head, "So... um... What's your name?" She asked, sheepish. But bold; she did want to know her relative's name after all. Otherwise she'd just end up calling him two-legger like all the others.
I think the healthy way to live is to make friends with the beast inside oneself, and that means not the beast but the shadow. The dark side of one's nature. Have fun with it and you know, is to accept everything about ourselves.
Hotaru made his way up the path that lead to the academy at his leisurely place. Granted he was actually looking forward to getting some training in, it would be there when he got there. Once he had finally arrived he pushed open the doors and made a straight path to the wall where the scrolls were stored. On the way he nodded to those he knew and gave passing glances to those he did not. He noticed the Hokage was with a black haired woman he had not met before. Letting his gaze linger upon her for a moment before returning to the scrolls he gathered what he needed before heading back across the academy. On the way when he passed the woman showing her teeth he smiled,"Nice fangs." Continuing on he went to one of the training rooms and began his work.
After spending a few moments compiling a grand list of jutsu he wanted to learn he began at the bottom with the E ranked moves. Up first was Ichi. Forming a quick seal with his hands he focused his chakra into his pointer finger. Much to his enjoyment his finger began to glow bright ruby in accordance with his chakra color and began to heat up. Satisfied with this one he moved onto the next. It wasnt much of a jutsu but it was the building blocks of something greater, thus making it worth the time. [1/1]
Moving onto the next one was the properly named Mist Waltz. Taking a deep breath he formed a seal with his hands and exhaled the combustible gas. After a moment of sweet anticipation he watched it spread and dissipate until it found a torch on the other side of the academy and almost instantly the gas detonated into a glorious though contained and relatively small explosion. With a smile it was on to the next one. [1/1]
Pulling a kunai from his belt he held it between his hands as he quickly performed the string of seals needed and coated it in his chakra. Giving it a quick toss across the academy he exhaled while it flew igniting his chakra and the kunai as it buried into the target before going out quickly. It didnt burn for to long but it had its uses in the end. [1/1]
The next jutsu he desired was little more than a practicality thing than an offensive ability. Chiefly the only reason he wanted to learn it was so that he could light his smokes if his lighter was ever misplaced. Following the description within the scroll he concentrated his chakra into his fingers and after a second snapped them. As he did so a small spark ignited between them. Not much but enough to do the job he desired. [1/1]
Holding his hand between his legs palm down he concentrated his chakra into his palm and after a second he was rewarded with a small flame within his palm. Maybe he had another method of lighting his smokes. Waste not want not he pulled a smoke from his pocket and lit it taking a nice long drag from it before extinguishing the small flame in his palm. The next move he desired was the continuation of the Ichi jutsu named Ni. Holding his hand out in front of him he concentrated his chakra into his hand just as he had before with Ichi. This time however he began to spread it from his pointer finger unto his middle finger as well. Now it was becoming something actually worth having aside from a demonstration in chakra control. [1/1]
After taking the time to enjoy and finish his cigarette he looked over the list he had prepared. While he was making good progress he knew he would have to learn a purely defensive set of jutsu otherwise he would be at just as much risk as his enemy when it came to his katon. The flame resistance technique. Taking a moment to circulate his chakra around himself he formed a barrier of sorts around himself though it was not more than a millimeter from his skin. [1/1]
Now that the boring defensive stuff was out of the way it was time to have some fun. Forming a seal he concentrated a mixture of his katon chakra and normal chakra into his legs. Taking a runners pose he dashed forward releasing the jutsu as he ran. Streaming across the academy he left a flaming trail behind him. Definitely something of use in the end. [1/1]
Picking up his scroll he made his way out to the back of the academy as he didnt want to burn down the place and thus piss off the kage. He would be doing enough of that in the next few days anyway.
The next jutsu he wanted to learn was one that was something akin to a signature katon jutsu. The Gōkakyū no Jutsu [ Great Fireball Technique ]. Taking a deep breath he closed his eyes and formed the seals slowly one after the other. If he was to be a master of Katon he would have to perfect this one. After taking a moment to circulate his chakra and concentrate it within his lungs he opened his eyes and exhaled the large fireball into the clearing behind the academy that was meant for this sort of thing. Keeping up his momentum so to speak he raced though another string of seals again concentrating his chakra into his lungs as he inhaled. After a moment he unleashed a small string of fireballs toward the targets that hung around the area. While he missed more than he had hit he was content with the results. After all time was something that he had in spades. [1/1]
Another defensive move was the Kaen Senpuu [ Flame Whirlwind ]. Returning to his scroll to check validity and make sure he wasnt about to mess this up he memorized the description as well as the seals the jutsu required. Taking a few more steps away from the academy he formed the seals as he let his chakra explode off of him and swirl around him in while not exactly spectacular tornado of flame. With another seal the flames pooled and raced towards another target to which he was rather frustrated for missing again. [1/1]
Getting rather upset over the persistent targets refusal to die he decided to skip the jutsu he had intended to follow up the last one with for another one. He was going to burn the forest down to the ground if need be to ensure this target died. Though he doubted this jutsu would do it he would find a way. Taking a deep breath he formed a seal and brought his fingers to his lips holding the seal. Taking a deep breath he exhaled a long stream of continual flames. At first he had measure of difficulty controlling the stream but soon had it under control. Directing his anger and joy at the target he enveloped it in a torrent of flames and watched as it finally met its targety doom. [1/1]
Making his way over to one of the few dummies scattered around the area he took a ready stance as he repeated the process with the Ichi and the Ni. Concentrating his chakra into the pointer and middle fingers of his left hand he took a deep breath and did the same with his right hand. While he did have some measure of issue at first as with the last one he soon got it under wraps and began to tap the target with his fingers searing it again and again each time. After a moment of tapping he had proudly burned the Ruzume sigil into the target tagging it so to speak. [1/1]
Continuing the practice of hte previous Ichi, Ni, and now San. He took a step back and returned his chakra back to his right hand only. This time however he poured more chakra than the last time into it and was rewarded with a noticeable change in temperature. This had a real use now, steel chains, wires glass all of it would be subject to his destruction with this. An idea that brought a small about of pleasure to the man as he thought of the possibilities. [1/1]
Picking up where the previous defensive jutsu left off he wanted to continue and for lack of better terms upgrade his ability to defend himself against his own katon and those of his enemies. Being the land of fire there was no shortage of katon users. Wrapping his body with his Katon chakra he took it one step farther. He solidified it into almost an armor around him as he waded into the flames that still flickered from his previous jutsu unharmed. It was a potent defense that was for sure. Making his way back to his original position he dropped the aura and prepared for his next jutsu. [1/1]
Taking a seat up against the wall he pulled his scroll from his belt and rolled it down to the end. He only had two more he wanted to learn before moving on to his weapons training. Rising to his feet he took a deep breath and circulated his chakra around him before expanding it outward in a sphere of burning ruby chakra. It wasnt hard but he could feel the drawback already his body was starting to cool just a little bit. [1/1]
Without wasting any time he formed three more seals while maintaining his sphere of chakra, the dragon, the ox, and the hare. The sphere of chakra that protected him slowly winked out before sweeping back and wrapping around his shoulders and arms and the effects were instant and glorious. His vision sharpened his heart rate increased all in all he felt great. Releasing the jutsu he smiled and went back to his scroll again. [1/1]
The next jutsu he wanted to learn would allow him to employ his skills with katon and mix it with his swordsmanship. Drawing his blade he concentrated his chakra along the length of the blade and after a moment it exploded into ruby flames. Taking both hands on the blade he took a low ready stance as he prepared to unleash the the move. [1/2]
After a moment he took the sword and raised it above his head before bringing it down quickly in front of him sending a wave of fire towards one of the targets scattered around the area. With a spin he sent another wave watching with a smile as it collided with the target in a wave of fire. Absolutely glorious. [2/2]
A casual gaze around the area revealed something wonderful to him. Trees aflame, grass burning to the ground, targets enraptured by his ruby flames. The glory was almost worthy of being called breath taking. Taking a moment to return to his scroll his eyes fell upon something that gave him an idea. With this jutsu the longer that someone fought him the more screwed they would be. Perfection. [1/1] Returning his sword to its sheath he began to slowly practice the seals for the jutsu being careful to not actually activate it right here after all he didnt want to get caught in it himself. Making his way to the center of hte outside area he began to actually employ the jutsu. Staring slowly with the seals he sped up towards the end and upon reaching the final seal he poured his chakra into the area around him. With a smile he watched as the flames began to link one to the other in a chain that soon quickly spread into a prison sphere of flames around the two. Despite his training in defending himself against katon he could feel the heat. Ending the jutsu he made his way back to the academy to watch the goings on within. [2/2]

Ichi [ One ] Rank: E Official Description: The basic building block of a great many techniques down the line, this is presumably the very same skill that began the study of Katons. Molding their Chakra through a simple seal of any choice, the user is able to focus it onto the tip of their index finger in the form of heat. With this, they can cut through things such as glass and rope with some difficulty. However, at this stage, control of one’s Chakra is so minimal that this technique can only be used by one finger and essentially has no combat use. Guild Description: See official description.
Kasumi Enbu no Jutsu [ Mist Waltz Technique ] Rank: D Official Description: Katon • Kasumi Enbu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The Shinobi does a string of hand seals and then proceeds to blow a large combustible mist at the target. When the mist hits flame, it will ignite in an explosion of fire. Shuriken no Jutsu [ Shuriken Technique ] Rank: D Official Description: This technique uses Chakra to coat a metal shuriken or a kunai with fire. It is done so that the user first throws the shuriken, then exhales from his or her mouth a small flame that ignites the Chakra-coated projectile. Houka Hira no Jutsu [ Flaming Palm Technique ] Rank: D Official Description: This Jutsu allows the user to form and hold a spark in their hand. They then amplify it with their Chakra until it is a small flame. Ni [ Two ] Rank: D Official Description: This technique makes it so that after a user has molded enough Chakra to gather heat into their finger they can now distribute it to both the index and middle finger (one hand), making it a somewhat viable option in combat now. However, jabs and strikes made through this method would simply burn through clothing and wouldn’t cause any substantial thereafter. In terms of raw searing strength, though, it allows the user to cut through even metallic string now. Guild Description: See official description.
Bounetsu no Jutsu [ Flame-Resistance Technique ] Rank: D Official Description: This is a passive Jutsu that is the first in two steps to protect the user from damaging themselves with their very own techniques. Although not necessarily mandatory to learn the finer points of the tree, it does provide a buffer against self-inflicting injuries. For example the user is able to withstand increasing amounts of heat and can even withstand certain techniques aimed at them. Withstand, however, does not translate into invulnerability as there are general flaws to this Jutsu as well. Guild Description: See official description.
Katon: Shunshin no Jutsu [ Fire Release: Instant Movement Technique ] Rank: D Official Description: Nearly akin to the Maruton version of Shunshin, this version leaves a flame wake-trail behind the user while they travel. Gōkakyū no Jutsu [ Great Fireball Technique ] Rank: C Official Description: Katon • Goukakyuu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The Shinobi does the necessary hand seals, draws Chakra from their mouth into their chest and them immediately exhales it. They then blow a stream of fire which erupts into a large sphere of flames. To better manage the flames the Shinobi will bring their hand to their mouth to control it. Guild Description: See official description.
Housenka no Jutsu [ Mythical Fire Flower Technique ] Rank: C Official Description: Katon • Housenka no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. The Shinobi does the necessary hand seals and then emits a series of small fire balls. The Shinobi can also hurl a projectile which is covered in these same flames. To the opponent the attack appears to be only the balls of flame, they do not see the hidden threat within the flames. Meaning that even if the flames are put out, the projectiles still converge on the target. The flames can be used to cover different projectiles like shuriken or kunai. Kaen Senpuu [ Flame Whirlwind ] Rank: C Official Description: Fire erupts around the user's body and then launches towards the target in a spiralling-manner. Guild Description: See official description.
Ryuuka no Jutsu [ Dragon Fire Technique ] Rank: C Official Description: Katon • Ryuuka no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Fire Element. After binding the opponent, the Shinobi uses a guide wire to unleash a large torrential fire burst onto the target. Capable of being used like a flamethrower, prolonged exposure has been known to transform boulders and cliff sides into molten piles of magma. Genin can use the technique for up to two posts, Chuunin for three posts, and Jounin for five. As mentioned before, strength of the flame and prolonged exposure can prove devastating. San [ Three ] Rank: C Official Description: At this stage of learning, users of this technique are expected to be quite adept at controlling the flow of Chakra in their body. It is by this that they are now able to both create ample amounts of Chakra and distribute to both hands (still only two fingers per hand). The actual heat effect of this technique, though, still hasn’t changed much from Katon: Ni. Also, awkwardly enough, the user is still unable to have the technique travel throughout one whole hand. Shi [ Four ] Rank: C Official Description: Much unchanged from Katon: San, the most noticeable change here is the strength of the heat effect set off by the user’s fingers. Now able to melt through various objects of higher density than glass (not including metals), the only drawback is that this intensity is only attainable through one hand at the moment. One could compare the effect of this technique to being stabbed with a searing hot kunai. Essentially, this is just a much more combat effective version of Katon: Ni. Note: This technique cannot be stacked with Katon: San wherein both hands can be used at the same time with one hand stronger than the other. Guild Description: See official description.
Taika no Jutsu [ Fireproof Technique ] Rank: C Official Description: At this point in time, the user has developed a natural resilience to flame and has come to know the pros and cons of their own techniques. With this knowledge in hand, they are able to not only guard themselves against fire and high temperatures but also anything around them. Expelling Chakra at a constant rate, it acts as a shield or buffer against all forms of heat, completely preventing them from harm. But by freely imparting this Chakra onto a person or thing, they are able to pass on that very same shield. Guild Description: See official description.
Kyuuka no Jutsu [ Flame Sphere Technique ] Rank: C Official Description: Quite easy to learn, it is also performed much differently from other Jutsus. Using the body as a heat source, the user molds Chakra to amplify it and make it entirely visible. Then the user expands it, using more Chakra, and takes on a red, spherical shape. This shield is used as a defense against both Ninjutsu and Taijutsu. It isn’t very powerful, though, and can only parry at most one technique before deactivating. A drawback to this Jutsu, though, is based on the body’s temperature. If the user performs this technique late in a fight they risk fainting due to both a drastic change in body temperature and already stressed body levels. Nenshou Tosshin [ Burning Rush ] Rank: C Official Description: A two-part technique that acts much like the Katon: Kyuuka no Jutsu. With the same seal sequence as the aforementioned Jutsu, the dragon, ox and hare are added at the end and the technique changes from defensive to offensive. As the customary sphere surrounding the user appears to fade out, it instead sweeps back and wraps itself around the user in the elemental shape of flames at the arms and shoulders. At this, the user finds themselves temporarily invigorated. Note: This Jutsu is both defensive and offensive, both blocking attacks and acting as one itself. The secondary effect here is that the user is able to move at a slightly more increased speed than usual alongside the actual flame effects that obviously harm opponents upon contact. This Jutsu lasts for three [3] of the user’s posts. Guild Description: See official description.
Kumoryuu Kaengiri [ Cloud Style Flame Slash ] Rank: B Official Description: Kumoryuu Kaengiri is a Ninjutsu technique used by Cloud ninja Atsui. After drawing his sword, Atsui will imbue Katon into his blade. Then he will unleash flaming arcs at multiple opponents. This technique is capable of igniting an area within the full 360 degrees of his body, leaving an untouched circular safe zone for himself and his comrades inside. Guild Description: Creates a wave of fire along the blade's path.
Horou no Jutsu [ Fire Prison Technique ] Rank: B Official Description: A skill in which generates a circular flame upon the ground, raising up bars of flame and a covering over top. This intense flame heats all within it, preventing water from being created from the inside with the dryness of the air. Touching the sides results in various burns, and while this Jutsu is used it can be linked to any other fire Jutsu and the Jutsu will be fired at the person inside the prison. Looking her over he noticed that she was paying attention to Chloe. A bit more than someone usually would. After she asked his name he snapped back to his natural state of mind. "Terribly sorry for not introducing myself earlier, Horrible manors of me." Ryoku looked up towards Chloe as she was doing moments ago. "I am Ryoku.... Nara, like yourself. Kage of this fine village." Letting out a small sight before setting his sights back to her. "Or if you like." Reaching into his pocket and pulling out a coin and flicking it towards her. "Just call me Ryo."
First we need to get you started with the learning of your darker half. He glanced down at her dark body double casting over the grass from her feet. Nara have a passed down technique over the shadows of this world that is considered an element in its own right. Also the thing that makes it so hard to perform for anyone who is not closely taught. If you are a Nara the ability is within you, Just feel it out and grab hold of your instinct over them.

Ryoku took that moment to take his own advice looking over the shadows of the area. He had already managed to develop a way to travel through them as a means of passage. Wondering if there was a way to take that a step further. Taking a moment while Kira was taking in what he had to say but also listening in to see if she had any inquiries.
Chloe swooped down quickly transforming herself back into her girlish figure. Quickly standing becide Ryoku she did not know what to make of this woman that was now with him. She did not feel as threatened as she did sense somewhat of a feral nature with this one. Listening to what Ryoku was saying seemed to ease her mind some if this was in fact a relative of his.

Kira turned and looked at the two-legger that had called her fangs nice and tilted her head in confusion. What did the male mean by that? her fangs were fangs, meant to tear flesh from bone so she could eat and grow strong, and be of the best use to her pack, nothing more. She shook her head and turned back to her relative as he told her to call her Ryo. She caught the metal disc he threw at her, it was similar to the ones she'd often stolen from travelling two-leggers in the forest. She liked that it was shiny. At his explanation of shadows and her darker half she frowned thoughtfully and tilted her head to the side. As she stared at her shadow. She liked the way it looked against the grass under her feet. She could control that dark mass, that void of light? She studied her own shadow and mentally went through all the scrolls she'd used to teach herself how to read the language of the two-leggers. All shadows, and all darkness, was merely a void of light, and through this void, humans and animals alike perceived darkness and shadows. The perception of this is what had to give the NAra clan, her clan, power over such things, and if that was the case, then light would be their natural weakness.[ 1/2]
Kira frowned at that thought, light. She could feel the shadows react to her blood, now that she was thinking about them, but at the same time, she could feel what felt like electricity coursing through her veins. Could she use that electricity to enhance her shadows, without obliterating them? There had to be a way to do just that. A simple shadow jutsu, mixed with her Nara-blood infused chakra, add a little lightning behind the jutsu, and the shadows would extend, thus extending whatever their reach happened to be. Hotaru stood in the doorway watching the two. He recognized the hokage but the girl he had made a pass at before he was still no closer to recognizing. Even when he introduced herself to her, she was the mystery girl. Yet she would reveal her secrets one way or another. For that matter she already was. The very way she stood, the way she walked, talked, carried herself told volumes to him. Her body was tight yet loose, relaxed yet ready. This indicated either a lifetime of war or a lifetime fighting for her life on a more personal scale. Given the fact she was apparently a gennin as well, given from what the kage had said, he was going with the latter. So what could cause a girl like her to life a life where every breath could be her last? He wasnt aware of any clans within the city that endorsed that kind of lifestyle which meant she wasnt from the city. No clan lasted long outside the walls of the hidden villages that was a fact of life. They were either killed in the clashes between villages, bandits, or the uhv captured and killed them. Leaving that train of logic his crimson eyes looked her over slowly tracing lines over every single scar he could spot. Some were pretty standard fare but there were a few crucial ones that stood out to him. The thin lines less than a quarter of an inch apart, the small linear then curved puncture marks. A smile spread across his face as he pulled a cigarette from the pack in his jacket and lit with a snap of his fingers. Taking a long draw he pieced the puzzle together, exhaling slowly he took a deep breath and gave a rather loud howl impersonating a dog or wolf as best he could. His eyes quickly returned to the girl her reaction would give him all the answer he needed.

Kira whirled around and dropped to all fours mid-motion at the howl, pathetic imitation though it was. She growled deep in her throat as her pale blue eyes landed on the red-haired male from before and she bared her teeth in a snarl. Who did he think he was? He was no wolf, he had no right to try and imitate her family like that! If she had fur, it would be raised in aggression. She glared at the red-head and stalked around him, eyes cold hard chips of stone,"Who do you think you are? How dare you? What gives you the right?!" Kira snarled as she fell to all fours and stalked around him, like a wolf ready to pounce on it's kill.

Hotaru smirked again as he took another draw from his cigarette, gotcha. She had reacted just as he had hoped she would. When he spoke his voice was low and gravely,"The only right that matters. The the one that comes from the fact that I pinned everything I need to know about you with a single action." Exhaling the smoke he watched her still smiling,"Such delicious aggression from a girl like yourself. I wouldnt mind seeing just how much bite is behind that bark of yours." As he spoke the very air around him flickered red as his eyes began to glow the very same color. Upon his right hand a veil of fire formed should the girl be foolish enough to try her luck he would add another scar to that pretty flesh of hers.

Kira snarled and and continued to circle around him, eyeing him for any weaknesses, anything she could use against him, she was in full hunt mode now. Her eyes narrowed as her hands twitched, with the need to sink her fingers his soft flesh and tear it off of him in bloody chucks to share with her pack. She wasn't aware of it, but her own shadow was morphing with the pulse of her chakra, taking on the form of a monster with long teeth and claws, and blood-red and black eyes that seemed to devour the very light around her. "I should rip your throat out. With my teeth." Kira snarled as continued to growl subvocally. This two-legger was making her furious. How dare he presume he knew what she'd been through, what she suffered and endured.

Smile fading a bit Hotaru expanded his ruby katon chakra outward preparing himself,"Ill give you one last chance to restrain yourself. Your a shinobi not a dog. I nailed you to the wall and now your upset because I figured you out." Placing his left hand on the hilt of his blade he watched her as he casually took another drag exhaling the smoke with a grin,"Otherwise Im going to enjoy adding a few new scars to that body of yours." He had her right where he wanted her, angry and irrational,"Come on then girl show me your fangs."

Kira snarled low in her throat and stalked away from the red-head. She kept an eye on him though. She mentally went over the scrolls she had stolen from two-leggers over the years and thought about everything, her memories were near photographic, so she could remember near perfectly everything she had read over the years. She thought about the lightning in her blood, how it coursed through her veins. She let her chakra surge and pulse with the lightning within her. She could feel little shocks, but they were weak and growing weaker by the moment. [1/1] Kira turned her back on the red-head, not as a sign of trust or weakness, but of derision, as if her were below her and not a concern. She closed her eyes and gathered lightning to her. She molded her chakra and lightning into a perfect little clone of herself. The clone was a perfect replica, but it wouldn't be overly effective with anything other than taijutsu, which she herself would never be able to learn, and it was only about a tenth of her own strength. [1/1] Kira then created more clones, four in all, and watched as they roamed around the academy, seemingly randomly. The clones all ended up meandering around the upstart pup who wanted to play Alpha. She smirked, back still to him so that he didn't see it, and she made several hand signs, the clones all went rigid for a split second before they exploded, within five feet of him. [1/1]
