xxxxZayr the Iron Monk xxxx
It was good to have someone such as Akira in the area. He managed to provide a balance to the haughty arrogance that belonged to the other genin, who was his responsibility. Kamishiro and Akira. "Well, you have access to the Santoryu scrolls within the cabinet there, Akira," Alzayr indicated, as he breathed deeply in. This Kamishiro was going to test even his patience.
"That's right, boy. This is not for the faint of heart, and you'll see that in time," Alzayr commented simply, as he began to stretch a little. "Now, here's how I'm going to play this game here. I'll be giving you both the day to learn whatever you can. When the sun sets though, I'll be to see what you've done. From there, I don't quite know what I'll do, but hell, that's the fun part, after all."

Akira HatakeGenin - Ninjutsu - Samurai - Kirigakure Akira Went and grabbed the scrolls from the cabinet and then sat down for a moment to study the first steps. He wanted to be ready for their master had in store for when they finished this time of training.
Akira got up and stood with a single sword as he then began his training. Akira started off by preforming simple slashes as he focused on strength but precise slashes. He moved to a dummy and aimed to slice it's head and right arm off coming from a below it's right side at a vertical angle. He had messed up and only got it's arm off.
Akira Then focused on precision and speed. He aimed to slice the dummy in half with one slice, with enough speed and strenght the job could be done. He dug into the ground and sliced at the waist of the dummy, however stopped at the center of the dummy, this infuriating Akira as he needed to farther.
Akira dug into the ground again, determined focused, using the ground in a perfect stance he sliced at the dummy again, this time with all his strength aiming for waist of the new dummy that took the place of the other one, he then sliced it in half, the top half flew and spun three times before hitting the ground.
Akira feeling a bit more proud of his aquired ability then sliced the rest of the previous dummy in half, although realizing that was nothing he walked back to another dummy preparing himself to do the trick he'd aimed to do earlier, he thought about his move and what went wrong before, then figuring that he let go of his concentration at the end. He then swung again coming from below at a vertical angle to slice off the right and the head of the dummy. His focus was on the other side of where the head should have been but was no longer there. Akire then realizing he'd accomplished the deal.
Akira walked back over to the scroll and studied the scroll, ready to learn the techniques for the one sword part of the style.

Akira HatakeGenin - Ninjutsu - Samurai - Kirigakure Akira stood up after reading the scroll again, deciding to learn the next attack. He setup a few dummies figuring the attack itself would easily cut the dummies where normal people would have some tolerance to chakra slashes on their skin. He let the sword rest in his dominant right hand and grasped his wrist. Then jumping high in the air to slash at the dummy but forgetting to focus his chakra he failed to do any damage.
Akira landed and turned again focusing his white chakra into the blade. he took a few steps to prepare himself and on the third he jumped into the air and slashed at the dummy, however missing his target and hitting the floor in instead. He landed in front of the dummy afterwards.
Akira didn't let this frustrate him, it was expected to have some trouble in training, however it was his goal to finish three techniques before facing Alzayr later. He stood in front of the dummy again and jumped high in the air and slashing white lightning based chakra at the dummy this time hitting the arm, which singed the dummy's arm upon impact and nearly cut if off.
Akira stood facing the next dummy intending to perfect the jutsu a bit. He gripped his wrist with his left hand and ran while focusing his chakra. He jumped high into the air and sent a white chakra slash at the dummy, he landed dropping to one knee just before the slash had hit it's intended target. This move would have merely numbed the boy part of an intended target, however the dummy's head was split in-two upon the impact of the slash.
Akira stood and slashed the dummy in half as he walked past it heading back to the scroll to learn more jutsu. It was to his understanding that he only needed to learn one technique left in the stage before he felt he should move on to something else. Which in his case would either be perfecting his clan jutsu, or learning ninjutsu.
Hiryuu Kaen [ Flying Dragon Impulse ] Rank: D :: Complex Description: Using one sword wielded in his left hand or with his right hand gripping his left wrist for support [ or vice-versa ], the user jumps high up into the air and slashes his opponent. After slashing them, the user's opponent then goes numb from where they were slashed because the user embedded some of his own Chakra within that spot. Akira HatakeGenin - Ninjutsu - Samurai - Kirigakure As he read the final jutsu in the 2nd stage of the santoryu, Akira stood up and walked to a vacant are of the dojo. Not needing a dummy for this one, but merely a place to simply target his attack so that it won't hurt anyone else. Akira took the blade and registered it on his right shoulder. He thought for a moment and then unresting the sword raising it from his shoulder and swung downward from his shoulder to below in front of him. simulating the procedure he must do before inputting chakra into the blade.
Akira brought the sword back up to just before touching his shoulder. He felt peaceful just in training, it was easier to train then to fight, training didn't give you as much weight as a battle, but it was far more important then battle due to what must be accomplished. Akira focused and then sent his chakra into the blade as he prepped himself.
Akira slashed quickly sending the chakra out like a wave, although the attack didnt form yet the way he'd wanted it to, The wave merely smashed into the wall, slightly damaging it and causing small pockets of walls.
Akira brought the sword back up to just above his shoulder and formed his chakra back over the sword. He steadied himself as he then quickly slashed downward sending out his chakra in the form of a white spiraling wave, however it was faster then the previous wave, it didnt actually make it to the wall like before.
Akira brought the sword back up to his shoulder again. "Brother I will make you proud of me." He said silently. Then sending his chakra into the sword giving it the white glow once more. He focused gain only more fiercly and sent the chakra wave out as he slashed downward towards the ground. The white spiraling wave smashed into the wall and caused a hole in the wall. He was sure that he'd be in trouble for that later.
San-Juu-Roku Pondo Hou [ Single Sword Rising Phoenix ] Rank: D :: Complex Description:The user holds his blade in his hand over his shoulder and then swings down. Then as he slashes he releases some of his Chakra in his Swords causing them to create a single spiraling Chakra wave. "Honor is an unsaid rule, no one is above this rule."

xxxxZayr the Iron Monk xxxx
Now, the monk had moved out from the dojo ever so far, to observe at first. Alzayr kept an eye out for the two of them, much to his dissatisfaction, Kamishiro didn't seem to believe his practice was needed. Whatever Mi was thinking when she sent him her way, he had little idea. Part of him wanted to pummel the boy of narcissism to the edge of life, but that would be most... Beastly. It was Akira that seemed to save the other genin, however. The zeal the young swordsman had was a wondrous thing. Wading out further into the foliage and further out of sight, he sat himself down.
Having retreated from the sight, the monk thought momentarily on the discoveries he had made over the last year. Genjutsu had been something understandable, but almost impossible to naturally. Not without more experience. Sealing however, was something he had taken an interest within.
[1/4]
Sealing was a useful art, however it seemed impractical. There were things that could be done in it, that few could manage elsewhere. Nevertheless, Alzayr had determined sealing to be of particular use, but at the same time, lacking use completely. For what he had in mind, he required something swift. Quick to apply.
[2/4]
The process itself was a simple system, but in all, it lacked the speed the monk needed for combat with a blade. There was something that he found different about his affinity with the fires of the world, and that, in itself, made the monk ponder on the situation. He'd managed to exude his chakra within all points in his body, as well as his presence. That made him wonder however...
[3/4]
Drawing a blade, he set to puncture his flesh on his fingertips without much mercy. Why? He'd scarred enough to know just about how deep he needed to go, and within moments, he settled himself back down, and his focus changed. Entering the state of healing, he focused on mending the wound to leave slight scarring and within a moment, there it was. Just a speck. Focused on exuding from the one point, he set it to a tree trunk and focused. Removing his finger, Zay grinned. Whatever he'd figured out, it worked.
[1/20 TP] [4/4] [Scar Sealing Learned]
Now that Alzayr had determined how he would be delivering his seals in the midst of combat, the monk was tasked with another challenge. The idea of creating a seal to which the world had never seen. Something to give an edge, and take one all the while. What did he have with his skills that could possibly do something so? He had little to contribute aside from chaos and blades.
[3/20 TP] [1/6]
He found himself wondering why suddenly it seemed as if his focus on the maintenance of the states had found himself a problem. He knew he'd just lost so much more than he had believed he could have. They were a personal thing. One in which that should have only been understood by the presence of another monk. Even then, however... It was a system where their trances were brought about by their own personal experiences.
[2/6]
The very feel of the expansion of the state of the monk was that of an oddity. Not just that, however, it seemed like an intrusion upon the wonders of the six states. Yet, there was so much to wonder about with it. A useful tool if he learned to harness it, but could he bear the idea? For the glory of all about, he believed he could.
[3/6]
He slid onto his feet, where he looked where the mark had now since faded upon the tree. Had it been incapable of sustaining the state of healing in the form that it had been settled? In which case, he needed a more complex seal, and to establish it, he had to wound the tree, before he could test it all. Blade struck forward, chipping away at the trunk.
[4/6]
Now, it was time to make it a bit more complex, utilizing the blade to form a seal upon the trunk. Alzayr didn't think however, he just let the blade trace as it pleased upon the wooden flesh. Why not? It was simply an extension of the monk, and to think about it could possibly undermine the very idea of the tactic. Nevertheless, it was moments before it was actually stopping, and a quick check by activating the state of healing was there to confirm.
[5/6]
The overall attempt appeared successful, but that was the glory of it all. It was as if he'd pulled something together. It would likely be troublesome to begin with, but the village would prosper with his assistance, and that was the most useful of it all. Carefully, Ho'oh Tsume was withdrawn and into the palm of his left hand, the monk began to deface his flesh once more, forming the seal which would become ever so useful.
[6/6] [Veil of Existence Learned]
Time had gone on long enough, and now, it was going to be a matter of choosing the examination method. Perhaps combat would be most useful for the pair? Of course, Samehada would not partake. He swaggered out of the wooded area, watching it happen again. No tact. Just ego. "Alright, kids! It's been too much of a bother to think of something complex, so here's how we'll do it. Y'all will pair up against me, as one of you had probably guessed," the monk began. It was too much to worry about having to do something creative now. He'd just have to use them as test subjects, and show the aimless Kamishiro just how little his ego would do for him.
(That was half a week longer than I'd hoped. Ha ha...)
