Shechina shrugged. "I have no idea. It might just be the way the guy is, or it might have something to do with his being the Fire Guardian," she replied, just as softly.

"Huh. All right." Avani smiled at Kota's offer. "Sure. Introduce me. Maybe it'll stop your buddies looking at me like a piece of meat on a spit."

Kota laughed. "They know better..." He said before giving a cold glare at any staring eyes and he lead her to the group." Guys, this is Avani." He said introducing her as the cheers stood and bowed in respect.

Avani grinned. "Hello," she said, bowing in response to the group. She knew reciprocation of respect was always a good idea, even if she didn't give it when her cousin tried to be nice to her.

Rand had to pause for a moment to look at Val coming along, nodding shortly thereafter. He could sympathize with the Water Mage's intentions, for if he had someone mess up his meal he'd be upset too. "Not a problem. I'll try to tone it back a bit for you." Stepping to the counter he set down the coins as the inn keeper quirked a questioning brow, the Fire Mage's right hand raised open palmed for the number of people eating. "Five of us. We'll take a little bit of everything that you have. And I assure you it will all be eater. Oh! And my friend here wants an extra serving of meat for himself." Nodding in satisfaction it wasn't long as the owner turned from behind the desk, stepping inward to call orders to the kitchen staff. Turning back to speak to both Guardians that their meal would take a few minutes Rand leaned against the counter, letting the wooden surface support his weight with ease. Soon enough the staff came out holding a tray apiece, five serving girls waiting on directions where to go. "Follow us."

Val gave Rand a pat on the back. The boy was hungry. It was a good thing Rand didn't mess with his order, otherwise he would have gotten a cold rump. Maybe. Valiant was still kinda aggravated that his powers were slow coming and that children with water powers were more masterful than he was. It made him doubt his status as a guardian and that he was a descendant of his own family. They were adept in magical ways. He wasn't, yet he was called one of the most powerful users known.

Carried away by a moonlight shadow...”The Huntress was listening to the girls conversation as well as keeping an ear out for the two boys returning. After a small while, she hears the boys returning with the serving girls and quietly steps into a shadow, vanishing from sight. “Sing a song of sorrow and grieving...

Rand appreciated the pat on the back from the Water Guardian, nodding to him in turn with a small grin of relief. Soon after he led the way back up to his room before he noticed the absent of the Huntress, deciding to keep quiet on the lack of a visible fifth person as he addressed the maids. "Just set it all down on the beds. We'll place them back outside when there's nothing but scraps leftover." He grinned to himself while he eyed the food with obvious glee, restraining himself just enough to offer to Leigh, Shechina, and the unseen Huntress first. "Dig on in. I can wait until everyone else has had at least a small nibble of their food."

Shechina raised an eyebrow at Rand's restraint but decided not to comment on it. Instead, she took an orange from one of the trays and peeled it, popping a section of the fruit into her mouth.

Carried away by a moonlight shadow...”Once the serving girls left, Huntress steps back out of the shadow and looks over the food. She takes a small amount consisting mainly of meat and retreats to an unoccupied corner of the room. She begins to nibble at the food while she keeps an eye on the children (going by her age). "Is there anything specific that you would like me to explain?" “Sing a song of sorrow and grieving...

Kota smiled as the guys sat down. "Kota is our strongest fighter. Hes a major partier too." one of the guys chimed. "He is supposedly really special." The guy said as Kota sat down on a log around the fire. "My companions are crazy...don't mind them." He told Avani laughing.

Avani raised an eyebrow at the guy's comment about Kota being special. "Special? How?" She asked, sitting beside him. "Aside from being a mage, that is."

Kota laughed. "Well my family is notorious for master how to move as if they are lighter then air." He said standing up and jumping but jumping higher then normal humans before slowly descending and landing next to her.
