When she was outbid, Ruth made no indication of disappointment. She picked on the lowest bids because they were the lowest and therefore could be something she can afford to bid on. The specific student didn't matter. Winning wasn't the goal. Raising the bid was. She contemplated on increasing her bid, just to force the other bidder's hand. Because why not?
Inwardly, she was smirking and her eyes glittered with malice behind the fringes of her bangs and the bill of her gray cap. Outwardly, she made a show of looking nervous and hesitant as she made another bid.

Kane gave his bracelet another brush when he watched the ghoul take some tokens into her hands. He had a feeling it'd be more than enough and was almost ready to take back all of his own when she outbid him for the last time, but to his surprise she just grinned and took hers back instead. He was about to ask why but she'd already started walking off, so he waved as she went, a bit curious about her parting words and the look she'd given him. A challenging one, he wanted to call it.. but he couldn't be sure.
Besides, it wasn't like he'd won yet.
Glancing sideward at the reaper ghoul, he gave the smallest of nods. "Uh.." he started to say, then blinked a few more times before shifting his attention to those that were still bidding. In particular, he kept his eyes open for that ink-dragon so he could ask her what in the hell just happened.

At least he had acquired one from the first batch, but a few more seemed to be slipping away from the second one. Knowing this at least, and how little time was left, the horsemen figured it would at least be okay circumstances to try a little more, it couldn't hurt and didn't seem like it would be too troublesome. So, he placed a few more bids.

I wish I have hands, then I can pet you!"
The Head made some giggle-like sounds, "Hehe, kitty is a naughty student, more active at night time? AJ paid attention in class but seldom hand in homework. I like creepeteria, a lot of foods! There's no need to say thank you if we're friendsssss~!"
Head pouted at the news it was outbid, as a boil, he disliked the feeling to lose. However, if Kier was happy about that and she could get a new friend, then he would accept it.
Yet, a glare was sent towards the boil without Kier's notice and then tossed on Crimson's bin. No two losses for it.

She had sat there in contemplative silence, her brown eyes darting between AJ and a few of the others that were lined up on stage. It would have been so nice to just keep trying for her dear friend (who... well..... yeah), it would be nice to go on a ... date (just thinking about that, well of course her cheeks flushed) with him again but she... just wasn't sure. But maybe, just maybe she should try for someone else? To maybe make more friends, something her aunt had tried to implore on her in a recent conversation.
Maple gave AJ a sort of pleading look, unsure if he would really see it whilst he conversed with others - she kind of envied him with the ease he did it, and felt a little jealous with those he was talking with. She looked back upon the stage and entered another bid. Or two. (At least she still had Uru's high bid, someone else she knew QQ).

The gnome informed him he was outbid again, and by the same ghoul over there. Mellow startled turned his head to the direction it pointed when the gnome told him she already bade on five ghouls.
Instant shock.
Mellow knew she might be planning some super evil female-only guild and was gathering minions, his instinct told him to stay away from her, not to have any eye-contact.
Mellow suddenly felt cold air from another direction and he was outbid on Camilla. "Sorry...I can't save your friend..." He shivered as he apologized, ears drooped.

Emily floated into the gym to see what all the fuss was about and what she found intrigued her. First she was handed a pouch and then was shown to a stage where she could bid on her peers if she pleased. Hmm....this could be fun.
Désirée had no idea what was going on at first. She just remembered wondering by the gym and being asked to sign someone. Which she did because she pretty much always did what others asked of her. Then she was shoved up on a crowed stage with other students. Her shock quickly turned into a warm fuzzy as she got what was going on. She was being bid on! And two creeply bid on her! Someone wanted her. Oh she'd bake them so many goodies and open all the doors....The possibility where endless.
The head stared back, with childish anger. It had its tongue stuck out and made face at Waits. This one was AJ's, he had name that was AJ's favourite color, he won't give up that easily.

Ruth perked as, once again, she was outbid. Well now, well, well, well now, didn’t that leave her with renewed funds? The blonde reaper chewed on her lower lip in thought, as if contemplating on her next move. Whether it was clear to anyone else that she wasn’t looking to win a specific student, it didn’t really matter to the paranoia agent.
Again, raising the bid was the whole point to her bidding, and if she won, well, that was just a bonus. There was still time, wasn’t there? She mentally calculated her funds, and proceeded to make her silent bid. Well look at that, the pair she was accidentally splitting up with her earlier bid was now together again.

Shayne gave a startled face when he knew Mellow was outbid, without a thought, the pony boil raised his bid on the undead boil and petted on his shoulder.
First was Camilla, and then Shayne, somone was picking on him. It seemed like a conspiracy, probably of a ghoul.
If he knew Ruth was a reaper, then it will enhance his bad impression of reaper, all of them. Female and male.
Mellow wasn't as calm and patient as he looked, he was emotional and short-tempered, but his silence gave a wrong concept to the others.

The auction was going to end soon, which was why Blondie was purposely making herself look nervous over whether or not she would win. Ruth, on the other hand, was thoroughly enjoying herself. And if she had just been within the vicinity of her competitor, well, she would have been enjoying herself even more. When she found out that she had once again been outbid, it prompted the blonde ghoul to search for the other student.
Ah, so they were together with the auctionees, were they? Blondie schooled her features into an anxiety-ridden pout, her lower lip quivering while one of her hands clutched at her gray sweater. Her other arm pressed her sketchpad against her side as she looked this way and that, as if looking for a way to flee.
Ruth was internally cackling at the bidding war she had gotten herself involved in. And while the persona would have simply excused herself and conceded, Ruth wasn’t going to let Blondie have her way. She doesn’t get to have fun the way she normally would and she wasn’t going to let this opportunity pass her by. She visibly steeled herself, and silently approached Mellow.
When she was within arm’s length, she thrust her hand out, offering the remaining tokens she had to the boil.
