As the butterfly rapidly flew up above the horizon, Kagami stopped chasing it, letting out a deep sigh which usually meant she was about to do something so boring and tiring, a task that she must do despite how badly she would rather go somewhere and play. She had just become a ninja after all, and she knew playing around was no longer an option for her. This was some serious business, and though she tried hard to grow up faster, she couldn't help but still be the kid she always wanted to be. Putting aside her childish thoughts, she breathed in to allow her senses to only communicate thoroughly with training and that alone. She closed her eyes slowly, putting together a few hand signs in which she seemed to memorize by heart. A white mist slowly oozed out of the corner of her lips, making haste across the field in front of her. Though it required fire to fully use, she was not going to try that here. It could blow up and possibly destroy something which was dear to her, as she loved the beautiful tall trees and everything beyond the wildlife. The only time she'd try that skill is when she would really have to.

Next Kagami would prepare once more, and once she was ready she would concentrate her chakra onto the palm of her hand. As she did, a spark flickered from above her palm, as if floating. Continuing to concentrate, she waited until she could used her chakra to turn it into a flame. Getting into a battle stance, she would thrust her palm in and out as if to pretend she was fighting someone. When she figured she had it down, she released with a deep exhale.

After getting introduced to one of the bigger shinobi of the village Ryoku really wanted to get to know everyone a bit better. Feeling horrible for not knowing nearly everyone that was under him. His appointment as Kage was brief and he had no training or preparation for it but now it was starting to bother him. Kira had began conversing with the large man in a rather confusing manor. The noises that they were making surely were not English.... or a human language for that matter that much he knew. But given what he had recently learned about Kira he began to realize that the same history might have befallen this fellow much like her own. They talked among themselves for a while until he seemed that they might be doing so for a while. Letting them have their fun he had way too much to do. Turning and facing Chloe he gave a subtle nod while taking a bit of a fighting stance. It was time to resume his training. The village needed a strong leader as well as an intelligent one.

She quickly took to the thought of sparing almost as if she wanted to. Reguardless he had to learn some new techniques, something that could give him an edge in actual non distance fighting. Without even a warning Chloe had raced towards him as if to catch him off guard. Ryokus mind raced through the style for the most suitable move for an oncoming direct attack. As she threw her blow to meet Ryoku he simple fluctuated a bit of chakra into his current standing dodging the attack gracefully to the side leaving behind a copy of his image to take the swing. Chloe proceeded to swing through the image.

Ryoku grabbed Chloes hand flailing behind her in attempts to balance her out after swinging with that much force at essentially nothing. She turned to see what he was doing. As she made eye contact with him he fluctuated his chakra once again using an afterimage to attack her full force. Gripping her hand with his she was unable to escape the false attack. The afterimage let out a large swing towards her face. She tried to block it with her free arm but the Image no doubt would have done damage passing right through her then quickly fading away. Ryoku followed the moment of her defense to poke her nose almost as if to cheer her up. He didn't know what was wrong but was sure something was.

She seemed very unamused by the whole ordeal. ‘Well no matter, it can’t be helped they would have to settle this matter now with their fists.’ He would obviously try not to hurt her but also try to understand her through this bout. Letting out some chakra he created two split images of himself on each side of him before they were about to continue.

Ryoku went in throwing all kinds of false attacks through the images and himself included. This style really payed off when it came to making people dodge your own attacks. Chloe tried her best to dodge what attacks she could after frustraition and temper built up she got a lucky swing off at the right version. Knocking the air right out of Ryoku. Looking up at her he left off a slight smile at her. “Feel any better?” She seemed to be a hair in a better mood. It seemed the only way to cheer her up was to give her what she wanted. In no way was the attack weak or tolerable but he could take a few good licks before it would start really taking its toll. Ryoku regaining his posture he asked Chloe if she would go to his estate and ask about his fathers general robes when he served as a ranking shinobi himself. It was time he wore something much more distinguished than the Anbu torn armor. She nodded to him and quickly left the area, She would have gone as a hawk but surely she could not have brought it back in the same condition It would have been, and speaking is much harder at that point.
Ryoku looked over to Kira and the large man to see if they were waiting for him. It would seem they were enjoying a nice spar as well. Always good to see the shinobi training at a controlled rate. Not out for blood. Everything they were doing seemed like the had it handled. He saw a girl around his age who he did not recall seeing before. Walking up to her he was about to introduce himself to her but he actually hesitated for a moment her looks somewhat caught him off guard. "Um.. Hey I'm Ryoku. I'm not sure if we might have met already, I'm not able to release my clone just yet to free up those experiences. But was wondering if you would like any help with your training?" He figured it a good opportunity to get to know another member of the village also a small part of him that he wanted to be closer to her for some reason. He could not quiet put his finger on what it was but most of the feelings he was willing to accept or not seemed to be pointing to her looks.
Chloe taking his lead she knew by the stance he took how he wanted to train. In the means that hes not very proficient. She would indulge him in his request feeling a slight bit of jealousy and anger towards him for his recent behavior with the wolf girl. She would in fact try to land a blow. After they had a scuffle for a while and she managed to land a blow she had felt a hair better but still has yet to explain her feelings. Ryoku asked of her to retrieve his fathers General outfit from when he served as a shinobi of this village. Thinking a nice change in outfit would suit him well she went to go get it without question.

It’s Man eat Dog Man versus Beast The strong will survive I’ve got no time for the weak.
Watching as his bullets grazed Kira like he meant to, Bjorn saw her dodge his huge earth dumpling and noticed Kira start to glow. As she got brighter, he squinted his eyes to avoid being blinded and spotted the strand of shadow coming his way. Diving into the ground to avoid the jutsu, Bjorn moved around below the surface to circle behind Kira. Jumping out of the earth directly behind her, Bjorn torqued his hips and brought a heavy ridge hand strike down into the right side of the girl’s neck and shoulder. Just as that would make contact, he’d bring his left leg up and around, kicking for the left side of her ribs. Neither strike was his full strength, that would likely break the small girl, but was still enough to give her a good challenge.
Grym focused in on his sense of smell for a moment, and confirmed that it was the red headed woman talking to the Kage that smelled like a cat, but decided not to interrupt them.

Standing there she watched the two Genin sparing letting her mind go off and wander after a while she wasn't even watching she was pretty much day dreaming. It was only mere seconds or so she thought before she was drawn back to the real world and Ryoku was standing merely inches from her and was talking to her. She only caught bits and pieces of what he was saying at first but she pieced it together and figured it out. Her tail snuck out again from its hiding spot it was almost as if her getting excited made her show who she really was. Quickly hiding it she tried her best to cover up the fact she was a bit nervous.
"Hi, the names Yukki. And if its no trouble I wouldn't mind help." She smiled sweetly and started to blush a little bit. Quickly turning her face away she pretended she had gotten something in her eye and went to wipe it while covering her now slightly pink face. After a few moments she regained herself and looked back at Ryoku. "So uh. Yea training with you would be great." She thought inside her head that she sounded completely retarded and repeating herself was not exactly attractive. She then averted her eyes to the two sparing and decided to change the subject. "So who are those two? they kinda seem like they are having a good time sparing." Again she was just picturing herself digging herself a hole that she was gonna have trouble getting out of. God she was not good at talking to people she was more of a book worm why couldn't she just be as awesome as those in the stories she had read.

Ryoku could not help but think this girl was adorable. Probably because of his current position she was having a hard time remaining calm. He disliked the fact that people had trouble being themselves around him. Noticing she seemed to have got something in her eye. Getting a bit bold he decided to overstepped his bounds slightly. Quickly moving his hand up to her face he slid some of her bangs to behind her ear. They did seem to be bothering her slightly being in her eyes. Giving a smile he looked over at the other two while they were sparing still. "Those over there are Kira and Bjorn. They are both a bit on the wild side given their history. But their intentions are pure enough." Glancing back at her he could not help but poke fun at her. "Why do you ask? If you are feeling left out I could always ask them if they would like one or two more to tangle with?" Laughing some on the inside he was pretty confident that she would not take him up on such an offer, but to be on the safe side he let out a smile that showed off his joking side a bit more clearly. It had felt good to be getting to know those of the village, especially after becoming the Kage.

Kira growled out when Bjorn dodged her shadow, then all but howled when his hand hit her neck and shoulder, but the only sound that escaped her when his leg hit her ribs was the sound of air leaving her lungs in a rush. But she didn't give up. She made a sign with her hands, hidden by her body so that Bjorn, so close to her he was still touching, wouldn't see. As soon as the last sign was made, Kira raised a single hand and instantly a single bolt of lightning lanced through her body and into Bjorn. This lightning was was strong enough, if it made contact, that it could potentially cause unconsciousness and even burns, or on the more extreme end, temporary paralysis. [1/1]
Kira didn't give Bjorn the opportunity to the retaliate or react, she made more signs and gathered yet more chakra. She inhaled deeply and let the chakra gather in her lungs and meld with the air. She then exhaled and watched as the compressed fuuton chakra formed a projectiles raced right for Bjorn. This was getting intense, but it still wasn't intending to kill, though play fighting amongst wolves was still dangerous, it was how they learned to hunt after all. [1/1]
Kira then gathered more chakra and focused on the area around her. The air crackled with the electricity that was forming and gathering in her small body. Once there was enough electricity she knelt on the ground and, when she slapped her hands onto the ground, shoved all of the gathered electricity into the ground. It rose from the ground and danced around her on all sides, left, right, front and back. The only place no lightning danced was right over her head. She could maintain this near indefinitely as long as her hands remained on the ground and her chakra didn't run out. [1/1]

Feeling the shock shoot through his arm and leg, Bjorn growled as he jumped back a few feet from Kira. When she inhaled and blew the burst fo wind at him, he was luckily able to shift steel form his leg to his other arm in time to defend himself, lifting his legs to ride the force of the blow as his black steel armored arms protected his face and torso.
When he landed again, He saw Kira’s lightning barrier, and decided that maybe taijutsu wasn’t the best idea for right now. Making a few quick handsigns, he pushed his chakra through the ground to below her feet. Suddenly, the ground underneath Kira would begin to twist downwards, pulling her into the ground by her feet.
Making more hand signs, Bjorn brought his hands to his mouth as he took a deep breath. Exhaling, He loosed a large stream of fire at the wolf-girl.
Seeing the kage and the red haired cat-girl look in the direction of Bjorn and kira, Grym stood and walked over to them before sitting next to them, looking at the woman, he raised his big paw in a wave, “Hi, I’m Grym, what’s your name, cat-lady?”

Kira struggled in the ground, less than happy to be trapped, she needed freedom, being trapped made her feel like prey, she was the predator! Kira snarled as she felt the heat of the fire jutsu head straight for her, sheshe managed, just barely thanks to her claws and her tenancy to fight harder when trapped, the claw her hands free enough to form hand signs. Electricity wrapped around her hands in a spherical shield that she used to block most of the fire, though she was still trapped, and didn't escape all injury, she had a few burns from the flames that did hit her face and arms. Kira growled, but signed and lowered her head in defeat, she was good and trapped, and she couldn't get free more than she already had. She looked up at Bjorn, "You win." She grumbled, she didn't like losing, but at least it was to someone stronger and more skilled.

Yukki felt Ryoku brush her hair out of her face and for some reason let out a soft purr. Quickly covering her mouth she felt highly embarrassed. She then was approached by a giant bear named Grym and being called cat-lady made her eyes widen. Well no use in hiding it now the bear could definitely smell her. Lowering her hood she showed off her beautiful black cat ears that lay beneath the hood. Looking over at Ryoku she blushed greatly as her tail now dropped down from its hiding spot and began to twitch happily.
"I was gonna tell you soon but not in front of everyone. But I guess the cats outta the bag I guess." She then took her two index fingers pressing them together in front of her acting a little shy hoping that nobody would laugh at her because she was part cat. She looked over at Grym with a slight scowl like a cat would look at a dog. "So mean. You could of kept it to yourself you know." She then slumped down to her bottom with her legs pointed outward but folded close to her body. She then began to lick her hand and rubbing it on her ear as if cleaning it. "The names Yukki."
As she said her name she heard the girl say that she gave up. So the fight was over. As she sat there she kept feeling like she was being judged even though nobody had sai anything. She waited for a while to see how the others would react While sitting there her ears twitched as she heard other little sounds throughout the room. She had great hearing but nothing like a regular house cat. but still better then a normal human. She also wondered how Ryoku would take it now that Grym had spoiled everything. Again she glared at the bear. But she knew that sooner or later she was gonna have to tell someone. She just wanted to do it on her own time.

Watching Kira struggle, Bjorn hoped to himself that she wouldn’t be seriously hurt. When she managed to defend herself somewhat after freeing her hands, Bjorn sighed slightly. Hearing her admit defeat, he walked over to her, grabbing her arm and pulling up out of the ground, lifted her into a big bear hug. Setting her back on her feet, He looked her square in the eyes, growling, “You did well, Kira, no shame in losing to someone much bigger and more trained.” He gave her a smile, reaching up to scratch her head gently with his claws, similar to how his mama bear would nuzzle him as a child. “Now let’s get you patched up, Kira” he’d grumble softy.
Over by Ryoku and Yukki, Grym scratched the side of his head as best he could. “Sorry, Yukki, I didn’t realize it was a secret…” After a few seconds, he continued, “Nice to meet you though!” The big bear would look down slightly, he didn’t really like people being mad at him. Looking over his shoulder, he saw Bjorn hug and nuzzle Kira, commenting, “Looks like Kira and my brother are done with their match.”

Kira blinked at Bjorn's words, then gave him something resembling a smile as she hugged him back, despite the pain in her shoulder and arm, and everywhere else he'd gotten her, them let out a happy yip when he scratched behind her ear. Kira nodded, "Thank you Bjorn." She growled as she looked up at him, she liked that he was stronger then her, it have her something to strive for other than survival. At Grym's words, she looked over and saw the other girl, a redhead, that had cat ears and a tail, her eyes widened, another possible friend or pack mate? "Cat-lady? Like Bjorn is man-bear?" Kira asked, excited. For the moment her wounds weren't even on her mind.

Ryoku went wide eyed for a moment. Its not that he had anything against it but it had just caught him slightly off guard. Looking closer for a moment he noticed that the cat ears and what also seemed to be a tail behind her were black. Laughing a bit to himself he looked at Yukki to reassure her. "You are actually not the first cat girl I have seen. But even so It does look good. I myself like cats so I don't see the problem." The part that did seem a bit strange to him was the bear right next to them just talking away. Konaha truly was a magical place. Ryoku had a tuff time not staring at her ears though.
A messenger ran up to Ryoku seeming like he was a bit out of breath. Ryoku finally broke his gaze over Yukki's ears before asking the man what was wrong. The messenger held up a letter. "For you sir, Urgent business!" Ryoku accepted the letter and began to open it up. Upon reading it his expressions changed from his current state of enjoyment to that of a tired Kage. His eyes upon finishing the letter glanced quickly between Bjorn, Yukki and Kira. "Irony seems to rear its ugly head. There seems to be a situation within the village that requires immediate response. A deadly wild animal was spotted last on the streets and reports have it now cornered near the river. No one will move in closer due to already suffering a few injuries to the locals. I want to task the three of you with the mission of subduing this creature and preventing any more harm within our walls. If you do not wish to take part in this I will understand." Looking to Kira with a bit of an uncertain look in his eyes. He hesitated a bit but then spoke. "The report states that it was a wolf."

Yukki looked up at Ryoku after hearing him say that he didn't have a problem with what she was. Feeling overjoyed she began purring and her tail twitched excitedly. She then heard Grym speak and felt a bit sad that she had made him upset. "Hey I didn't mean to make you upset." As she then stood up looking at the bear. She then Smirked a evil yet playful grin and tried tackling the bear. Realizing she really didn't have much strength behind her she was more or less just putting all her weight into him to only feel like she was sliding across the floor not really making much progress. She began wriggling around holding onto him by his neck. "You feel that huh? take that can't handle all this cat can ya." She knew it wasn't really getting anywhere but she really wanted to cheer him up.
Ryoku then was met by a messenger and it caused her to kinda hang there while listening in. She heard Ryoku report they had a mission and she kinda felt sad cause she was gonna be leaving after she had just gotten there. Speaking of pets she realized that if the bear guy had his pet and that this wolf girl ended up collecting that wolf as a pet for themselves where was her fur pet. Ryoku had a hawk so she began to kinda feel left out. Her tail twitched slightly and her ears lowered in a slight saddened state while she realized everyone would be having a fur baby and she would have nothing. Looking to Ryoku she gave the sad face. "I want a pet too." She then realized they probably had no idea what she was going on about since she was just thinking of all this in her head. She blushed slightly and then corrected herself. "I feel left out, Bjorn has Grym, Kira will most likely have that wolf as a pet if she chooses and you got a hawk girl. I want a pet too." Her ears were still lowered she felt really sad.

Character is like a tree and reputation like a shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing.
Kira snarled, though it was more in shock, rather than as a threatening sound, at Ryoku's words. A wolf? In the village? Her pack stayed clear of the two-leggers' dens, they'd never come here willingly, or so she thought, and her pack was the largest in the area, so they didnt exactly have too many worries as far as rival packs that they couldn't handle. Had the winter been that hard that they were possibly coming here for food? But Black-Claw wouldn't send anyone here. She looked at Ryoku, eyes bright with her chakra, and with her inner wolf,"No. I go. If it is a wolf, then it is probaby from my Pack. I deal with them." She would not let just anyone deal with her pack. She bit her lip and nodded to herself. She needed to prepare for this mission, fast.
Kira gathered her chakra and watched as it formed a monster around her, constantly shifting and nebulous, black as pitch, with eyes like fire and teeth and claws like lightning. She puled her chakra closer to her body, around her like a second skin, and made several hand signs, ending in the sign for the dragon. [1/5]
Kira then condensed her chakra further and moved it from her skin to her liver, the organ her and her pack loved to eat, for it's rich nutrients and iron. She could feel her liver getting stronger, the blood it filtered becoming even cleaner than it had already been. [2/5]
She shifted her chakra, fast as the lightning at her fingertips, and smooth as the shadows under her command, to her heart, to strengthen it as well, at least temporarily. Her heart beat faster and harder, sending her blood through her veins faster. All she could hear was her heart pounding away. [3/5]
Kira looked around and gathered her chakra into her shadow as she made a few hand signs and watched as her shadow stretched in front of her. She then manipulated the shadow to her bidding, making it dance, then romp and play like a wolf would. [4/5]
The wolf-girl then manipulated the shadow to form a massive claw, black as pitch, just like her wolf-father's calws. She then changed it to look like a mother wolf and cub, representing her Luna, then again to several wolves on the hunt. Anything she could think of that represented her pack. [5/5]
Kira released the jutsu and formed more hand signs, even as she manipulated her chakra into her skin, making her skin light up like the lightning in a storm. She manipulated the light into flickering, then staying steady, then flickering once more. She kept the chakra there for a long moment to feel it warm her skin. [1/5]{Meditation} [1/3] {Performance}
The dark haired girl then dove back into her chakra and inhaled as she pushed it into her lungs and nose, splitting it half and half. It increased her sense of smell and enabled her to pick out the most minute scent on the air, at the same time as keeping her lungs clean of any and all contaminates. [2/5]
Kira used the air in her lungs and turned to an area where no one was standing and released the fuuton chakra she'd gathered into her lungs and watched as the projectile raced away from her into open air and dispersed. [2/3]
Kira nodded to herself and manipulated her chakra into her hands and then slammed her hands to the ground and watched as lightning lanced up from the ground like an upside down storm or beauty and danger. She pushed more chakra into the jutsu, then let it return to normal, manipulating the flow of the lightning. [3/3]
She then released the jutsu and focused on her chakra and drove it from her hands to her throat and kept it there for a long moment, letting it warm her vocal chords and throat muscles. She moved it from there to her stomach, as if she had swallowed the chakra like it were meat she'd torn from a deer's carcass. [3/5]
She closed her eyes and moved her chakra from her stomach to her eyes and opened them, her eyes glowed with her chakra, nearly blood red surrounded by black with the sheer amount of chakra she'd gathered there. She could see what felt like for miles, and in the most minute detail that anyone else would have missed. [4/5]
She could feel a headache coming on from the sudden influx of images though, so she moved her chakra to her hands and feet, a quarter of chakra for each extremity, and moved through the motions of a hunt, running, weaving, dodging and pouncing. HEr hands and feet left trails of sparking chakra behind, looking almost like a light show with the after images of black and red chakra-made light. [5/5]
She gathered her chakra into her shadow once more and made the appropriate signs to make her shadow form over her hands into what looked like gloves that she could use as second limbs. She used and manipulated the shadow arms into attacks, using them as if they were her actual arms. [1/3]
Kira then released that and made more signs, this time she hit a shadow that wasn't her own, and turned it into a shadow wave that raced for some trees a little ways from her. The trees didn't stand a chance, and were sliced down, nearly into perfect firewood. [2/3]
The wolf girl growled and bared her fangs as she rolled her shoulders and popped her neck, then formed the last signs she'd need for the moment. This time lightning formed into long, thin, strands of deadly electricity. She used her hands to manipulate the strands into wrapping around the logs she'd just cut down with her previous jutsu, and watched as the wood singed, and then slowly started to smolder with the sheer burning power of the lightning. I think the healthy way to live is to make friends with the beast inside oneself, and that means not the beast but the shadow. The dark side of one's nature. Have fun with it and you know, is to accept everything about ourselves.
