For some reason that eluded him Hotaru found himself in the academy. Pushing his hands into his pockets before one of them brought a cig to his lips while he flicked the tip lighting it with his chakra. Taking a slow long soothing drag from it he sighed and tipped the ash off. A quick look around revealed to his viewing pleasure Emi was training. Not only her but the pink haired girl was there as well. Taking up a place on the wall he watched the two. Something about Emi made him just like talking to her yet the pink haired girl also acquired his interest. Though the reason for the latter alluded him.

Taking a deep breath, Jae took this moment of completing her warm up Well. It was a good sign Hee body wasn't as banged up as she had assumed. Her exuberance was short lived with the wafting scent of smoke. Her sharp gaze flickered to the room around her, searching out the source. It didn't take her long to find out who it was, the culprit was watching her as well. Jae met the strangers gaze, stare for stare until she crossed her arms and looked away. Moving to the corner of the room she picked up the belt she had taken off prior to meditation. She tied it around her waste before heading in the direction of the walking cancer stick. "You are rude." Jae said, her attention clearly on the red haired smoker. It made No sense why someone would light a cigarette in an area where people trained let alone why a person would smoke period. The pink haired bird sage held nothing back as she voiced her frustrations and qualms against this perfect stranger.
Raising a brow he watched the girl storm her way over to him and then proclaim that he was rude. With a sigh he took another drag but this time exhaled though his nose filling the air below the two with the smoke. After a moment he replied,"So are you." Without saying another word he leaned back against the wall and waited for what he was sure would be the womans long winded and falsely offended speal about how he was such a bad person.

Ryoku entered the academy with Chloe behind him quickening his step in search of the Genin he had just sent on the mission to deal with the wolf. He was very curious of the outcome of the events. His eyes spotted not Yukki nor Kira but in fact Hotaru, Emi and and a Pink haired woman that he had not met before.. Possibly someone who might have crossed his clones path. Being a little curious as to how many ordeals his clone has handled. Releasing the jutsu the clone in the office would have instantly disappeared. The knowlage of her Identity was brought to him along with the promotion of Hotaru, and the other genin that had collected their headbands while he was absent from the office. He planed on eventually placing another clone or sitting in at the office himself after finishing up his plans there.
Approching them he mostly was curious about this Hyuga with her Cheetah. A beautifully white coat with what seemed to be red eyes. Hotaru seemed to be a bit preoccupied with Jae although he could not hear what was being said. Turning his attention to the Hyuga he said after she had finished performing her jutsu in training. "Excellent form, great choice in Suiton." Taking a moment to keep his distance just in case she might have been heavily into her training. Chloe had walked up beside Ryoku as he looked to the Cheetah. "That has got to be the most beautiful Cheetah I have ever seen. Might I ask her name?" He took a gamble on its sex. She seemed to fit the bill of a female due to her size but it also could have been her age. "Those also were thought to not exist. Quiet amazing to see one in the fur."
Chloe saw the girl that Ryoku had approached. She also seemed to be a tamer like. Hotaru seemed to have another cigarette in his mouth. She nearly instantly smelled it within the air. Not too sure but the look on the female towards him seemed to have a touch of ill intent.
Upon entering the academy with Kira in tow she started looking around for Ryoku. Quickly spotting him she then noticed a few young girls near him, not knowing who they were she felt a little uncomfortable. Yukki started making her way over to Ryoku keeping her eyes on the three girls. Noticing one had a beautiful white cheetah for a companion she felt a little at ease. Knowing that it was just another student like her. Thinking to herself she started to talk to herself in her head trying to make herself realize that there is nothing to worry about. Looking to the other girl though she kinda seemed a bit distant.
Taking a breath in she smelled the smoke in the air and started to cough looking past everyone around her and right at the source of the smoke. Growling under her breath in irritation and glared at the man who seemed to not care about his or anyone's health. "Put that damn thing out. People need fresh air to breathe you know." she hissed as she stood there still glaring. Her black tail twitched in irritation ready to swat the damn thing out of his hand if need be. Looking to Ryoku trying to not get too aggravated with this guy she spoke. "Reporting in, mission complete the wolf is safe. Also helped out a bit around the hospital they seemed to really need that help." She then looked at everyone again in the room scanning each face so she could remember them for later.

Kira walked into the academy and made a face at the scent of some strange smoke, it was cloying, and choked her before she managed to get clear of it and inhale proper air. She looked around and blinked as she saw several people she has yet to meet, and one that had been right behind her in the office to get her headband from Ryoku, and that was one big cat. She saw Yukki and walked over to her as they spoke to the red-head who had infuriated her the first time they'd met. She growled lowly and turned her back on him. Isis looked around at all the two-leggers and stayed close to Kira. The wolf followed her pack-mate to the red-haired two-legger that smelled like a cat and sat at Kira's feet, head cocked to the side as Kira nodded at the pale-eyed two-legger in greeting, even nodding at her white-furred companion. Kira smiled at Ryoku and tilted her head just like Isis, "Excuse me, Ryoku, but this is Isis, my pack-sister. She was concerned for me, and came to investigate." Kira explained as she stood there, waiting for further instruction.
I think the healthy way to live is to make friends with the beast inside oneself, and that means not the beast but the shadow. The dark side of one's nature. Have fun with it and you know, is to accept everything about ourselves.

At his rebuttal she tilted her head slightly to the right. "I am to those who deserve it." She fired back, in agreement with him. She wasn't a nice person. Especially to ding bats who smoked in an area that was used to work the mind and body. Imposing their nasty habit on those who didn't smoke. Jae disliked those types of people. They usually had a trend in characteristics as well. Many people had nasty habits of assuming that other's wanted anything to do with them or had habits of prying too much. If they weren't trying to buddy up with someone else they were trying to assert their dominance. Holding her hand over her nose and mouth she eyed the red haired lad for a few seconds. Sizing him up. She needed a training partner but nor did she want a weak and chatty person to tag along. He seemed the right type of annoying. Arrogant and silent.
Parting her lips to pitch her proposal, Jae froze. Her gaze flitted across the room as many people emerged from seemingly nowhere. Her silent sanctuary was gone. This bothered her. New people used to bring out her curiosity. Now they made her wary. Even more so with the added presence of the Hokage. Her eyes narrowed as she watched him disappear into another room. Always working for their own gain. Jae would never put her life down for a Kage ever again. Returning her gaze to the chain smoker she debated on whether or not she really wanted to ask for some of his time. It would take everything in her to produce the old her. Did she have it in her? "I need to train. Coming or staying?" She asked, her voice clipped due to her tested nerves
Guided in by a Konohagakure ANBU, another man, one wearing the ANBU mask and Headband of Sunagakure appeared shortly and watched as the students and master all gathered together, he humoured at the issue some took with the hot-headed red-haired smoker, but paid it no attention himself. He had grown used to worse things in the desert, sand was more of a harm on the lungs in the long term than second hand smoke in the short term. The silvered green eyes then shifted behind the White Raijin mask to look at the senior two currently in the area, both of whom he recognized. He said nothing to the matter, however, as he approached closer and shifted his cloak with his movement. The gaggle of students were sure to have their own issues to tend to in time.
"This is the man?" The ANBU from Sunagakure asked as he looked to the one from Konohagakure who simply nodded at his question.
"Hokage, I have come to speak with you on matters concerning the personal effects of one Hatake Masahiro. Though, on his behalf I would ask if we could discuss this matter in private." The Sunagakure ANBU asked as he approached a little closer.
And then there were two. It was their choice to come over where he was. He had been kind enough to take himself over to a window on the far side of the academy clear away from anyone else. If they had and issue with it they shouldnt have come over to him. He had contemplated for just a moment burning the fur off this annoying woman but the pink haired girl supprised him by asking if he would follow her. Pushing himself off the wall he nodded,"Yea. Im with you." As he pushed off the wall small licks of flames sprouted upon his body and trailed after him. He had no intention of harming anyone from the village but if that cat girl intended to keep pushing him he was going to push back.
With her expression twisted into a combination of annoyance and wariness she inclined her head toward the exit, indicating non verbally that she wanted him to follow her. Things were everywhere at the moment. She needed to get to a secluded place. Here was less than ideal.

Ryoku took a moment to remember her name. "Nanami, very nice name. And I hope the poachers you have saved her from met swift justice." Looking over to see Yukki and Kira returning back from the mission, and to his supprise and also his relief it would seem the wolf he had heard about was in fact subdued and possibly even loyal to Kira now. Judging by the way it stayed close to her. "I'm glad you have returned here. First off thank you for handling that situation, and I am impressed as well. You not only prevented any further injury but also managed to calm the wolf down." Looking more directly at Kira when she explained that the wolfs name was Isis one of her pack. Giving an actual formal bow to the wolf herself he spoke out to both her and Kira. "Welcome to the village of Konahagakure. Being one of Kira's sister would in fact make us relatives ourselves." He spoke with a hair of sarcasm but also with sincerity. She was in fact one of his clans woman, He was just unsure as to how far or closely they were related. "I did however want to tell the both of you after that mission something. Given the amount of effort you have shown to follow orders and work as a group I grant you both the title of Chūnin. But not just that I have some more news." Looking over her new companion Ryoku's hopes had come to fruit. "Kira I have another mission for the two of you. But you will need to make a journey. I have read about a place in Takumi that has knowlage about training an animal to actually be able to fight like a shinobi, Like yourself." Looking at Yukki who also seemed to have a similar request to do something of the sort.
Ryoku thought to himself for a while before reaching down to his money sack. Pulling out a substantial amount of cash he walked over to them and divided it between the two. (20000 Ryo) "Please bring back whatever you do not use" Giving them a slight moment of seriousness so they knew he would want something back. "Please on your journey I only ask a couple things from Takumi." Handing them a small parchment of paper with his desired items enclosed. "Also please be sure to get yourself some better weaponry."

Upon handing them the things needed for the trip a Suna Anbu had approached them by what seemed to be an escort of their own village. Raising an eyebrow. When the name Hatake Masahiro was spoken he waved to let the Anbu know it was ok to leave them. Nodding to the visitor he gave a bit of a bow to him. "I am glad you have come, one moment while I let my partner wrap up my affair here. Then we can talk." Walking over to Chloe he mentioned to her about the unit he wished to invite them to. Shooting his eyes to Emi, Kira and Yukki due to the fact that they already had animals, or was in pursuit of them.
Turning towards the Suna Anbu he guided him into the building shutting one of the training rooms behind them so they could discuss what he came to tell him. "What might have happened to Masahiro, I have not seen him in a long time. I was starting to think he might have been defeated in battle. We have lost a Kage not too long ago and most of the information seems to have been lost..." Pausing for a moment and then continued. "My apologies, you came here to tell me these things. Please continue"
Chloe was glad to see that 2 more members of the village were promoted further. She did like Yukki, Emi, and Kira for their connection with the wild. Following Ryoku's orders she walked a bit motioning the others to follow with her so that she might be able to explain his intentions of the Unit that he had spoke of. Ryoku and this mysterious suna shinobi had some business together, but it seemed as though Ryoku had trusted him.
Once they were a bit away from the others she began explaining the details of the Unit."A soon to be highly trained tracking unit that is much more intuned with nature and their animals of choice. Shinobi that are capable of launching powerful attacks from their significant animal partner. Bjorn currently has accepted the offer as well as Ivilice Taka the Lion tamer. Bjorn being a Jounin now, Ivilice being a Konin would be your seniors. More information will be made available once we know more about the specifics."
The ANBU listened to what the current Hokage had to say and stifled a small chuckle as he spoke of Masahiro being lost in a battle. Shifting his frame underneath the cloak he would bring his arms into plain view and expose a Konohagakure Flak Jacket that the man still wore, having not traded it in for a Sunagakure or ANBU specific version yet, then with careful hands he brought his hands up to the White Raijin mask he wore and unfastened it.
"I can tell you with certainty that no such thing has happened, my friend. Though I am surprised to see one of the students I watched grow up having become the new Hokage." The ANBU spoke as he removed the mask and with a lifting motion pushed back the hood of his cloak revealing his signature long ( longer even than before ) braided white hair and his true face.
Masahiro Hatake stood revealed, in Konohagakure, for the first time in two years since he had gone to train with Sanshi Satetsu of Sunagakure. His headband was that of Sunagakure and he even held himself different than he had in his days as a Konohagakure Jounin.
"I've eclipsed into my thirtieth year and still hold a beating heart. I've left business here untended for more than long enough, my mother's ashes, my scant belongings, as well as a few other items still reside here." The ANBU said with a smile, patting Ryoku on the shoulder.

Ryoku was astonished when he saw the mans Identity to be that none other than Masahiro himself. Almost loosing his balance at the sight of him he maintained it against his bodies will. 'He was still alive, but has his allegiance changed?' Ryoku could not help but have that fact keep him from getting overjoyed. "This is great news, I am glad to see you are well. This position was being forced on me for a while, I was not very sure about taking it but after a while I accepted the responsibility. I can not help but think about the current headband you are wearing, Is that where your loyalties lay." Taking a moment to add to his words due to the fact of how severe they might have sounded. "Please keep in mind I am open minded to things as well as understanding to your situation." He was curious as to why he might have changed villages but no matter what had happened he was sure it was not during his current ruling.
