Kazu was sad, his favourite headphones were shattered.
"I loved those... such good quality...
They entered the colourful town, a strange combo. Civillians gave them strange looks, some shunning their children away and hiding their eyes.
"Geeze... Anyone would think we were murderers!"
Piedmon placed a hand on his forehead and sighed.
"It's probably because I look like a psychotic clown, Buraimon is holding two katanas... Oh, and your covered head to toe in blood."
Zerimon bounced on Kazu's head.
"Hey what about me!?"
"Your just annoying..."
Kazu sighed. Piedmon was right, he was walking around in rags, his shirt tattered and a clean hole blown through the back of his leather jacket. His glasses had a crack in one lens but everything was blurryer than normal...
"Stupid things..."
He took off the lenses and stopped dead in his tracks. Burimon halted and turned. During the trip from Vaccine Sentinal Tower... Or at least what wasleft of it, he had refound some of his strength and Digivolved to his champion form.
"Master? Are you ok?"
Kazu looked at his hands.
"I can see... Without lenses. Awesome!"
Piedmon looked briefly over his shoulder, glowering. He was still upset that his master plan to overthrow Yggdrasil had failed.
"Big whoop! You can see. Gah!"
He dropped to the floor, cross legged and arms folded, stropping. Buraimon laughed.
"Ha ha ha! I took the liberty of healing all your body's ills. Including that jagged scar and your eyes. Such is the power I had."
Piedmon scoffed.
"Key word there chump, had! Your not that strong anymore!"
Buraimon scowled at Piedmon, slightly drawing his two blades.
"Watch your mouth, clown."
Piedmon was on his feet in an instant. They had reached the town center now. People and Digimon were sitting around, drinking tea, talking. Well they were, now they were looking at the blood soaked Tamer and his fighting Digimon.
"You want to fight! Fine!"
Piedmon flung both his arms out to his sides, palms outstretched. The four swords on his back shot from their sheaths and floated next to him. In response Buraimon whipped both his blades to his hands, he pointed his right blade at Piedmon and held the left out to his side.
"Make my day..."
The clown roared and dove towards the Bird-Samurai, all four floating blades converged and aimed for Buraimon's torso. In a flurry of deft movements Buraimon had blocked the four swords with just one of his own, his second blade resting gently under Piedmon's chin.
"Oi! Cut it out!"
Kazu stormed up to the warring Digimon and placed both hands on his hips.
"Do you want us to be kicked out!?"
Zerimon bounced up and down and yelled his agreement. The two clashed Digimon stared at each other intensly for a few seconds. Buraimon was the first to pull back. Sheathing his blades. Piedmon shot a disgusted look at the Samurai and put away his own blades.
"Fine, but I doubt we'll be allowed to stay long anyway. Hmph!"
Kazu sighed and looked around. There was a tea shop at one side of the plaza, he motioned for his friends to follow him as he ordered four cups. He made a discovery.
"M-money?"
He looked at his Digimon, who shrugged. Looking back at the shop keeper he smiled.
"We helped save the world? That has to count for something?"
Kazu yelped as the person running the stall waved a broom at him. He looked at a Tamer and his Lucemon drinking a cup to his side.
"Aww man..."
He waved fro his Digimon to follow him and walked off.
"First my clothes, then my headphones, now this..."

Jai turned around, meeting the gaze of the boy next to him. Lucemon followed, and was shocked at the blood smeared around a gaping hole in the Tamers shirt.
"Jai, he looks like he's been in a fight."
"Yeah, with the hole and everything."
Jai turned back to the Tamer who was walking away and extended his arms, with the teacup in his hands, and shouted:
"I'm done, do you want some? You look like you've been pretty beat up."
"Hey, your Digimon can have some of mine too!"
Jai hoped his gesture of kindness would be accepted and then...
Oh crud! I left Rainor in the woods! I thought he'd follow. Oh well.
"So, do you want some or not?"

Kazu spun around to face the boy.
"Really!"
He practically dived at the boy, sweeping the tea from his hand and shaking it at the same time. His Digimon approached Lucemon, Buraimon and Piedmon politly refused but Zerimon tried some.
"Bleh! No way!"
Kazu drained the cup and gave a satisfied sigh.
"Ohh, that was lovely, not had tea in so long..."
He almost turned to go before remembering his manners.
"Oh yeah, my name's Kazu. Kazu Matsumoto. And who is my great tea-bringing friend?"
He gave a smile and whipped a chair round to sit with the boy. Kazu was impressed, the Tamer was young and yet he had a Lucemon Shadow Lord Mode. That was no small feat...
Buraimon bowed to the Lucemon,
"I am Buraimon. Pleased to meet you."
Zerimon bounced onto the bowing Samurai's back and squealed.
"I'm Zerimon! Hi!"
Piedmon grunted and gave a curt wave.
"Piedmon, a pleasure..."

"Oh, I'm Jai, Jai Mazuno."
Jai grabbed Kazu's empty cup and put it back on the tea stall, ready to be washed.
"Hi, I'm Lucemon!"
Lucemon flicked his hair and smiled at the other Digimon.
"Ok, so, why is there a hole in your shirt? And why is there blood?"
Jai picked up on this and repeated the question.
"Yeah, it looks like you've been in a bit of a scrap, but there seems to be no wound."
((Don't you mean Lucemon Chaos Mode? I haven't introduced Shadowlord mode yet sweatdrop ))

((Yeah... I knew that...))
Kazu grinned to the boy.
"Jai huh? Strong name."
He heard the question from Lucemon and Jai and rubbed the back of his head, a little exasperated.
"Umm long story short... I may have died. For the second time I think."
He thought back to Endless Mountain, then to Liger stabbing him. Such incredible pains. Both times. Then just nothingness. Except the second time... When he had met Yggdrasil. Kazu snapped back to reality with a shocked look and a small shake of his head.
"Sorry for zoning out on you there man. But yeah, I got in some trouble but Buraimon there fixed me up good."
He smiled to the kid. So young to be in this world, so many ways he could be tainted. He thought for a second.
"Now... I think I should go. Trouble usually has a habit of finding me and..."
He motioned to his bloodied clothing.
"But I'm impressed with your Digimon Jai. It takes real skill to maintain balance. That's probably why Lucemon chose you."
He got up and bowed slightly. Buraimon bowed to Lucemon, Zerimon chirped a thank you and Piedmon gave a dismissive wave. Kazu went to leave, he reached the center of the square before he turned back around.
"Unless your lookig for trouble? I could do with a companion, even if it's only for a while!"
He looked at Jai for a few seconds before turning away again and leading his Digimon towards the Toy and Tama Town exit.
"What are you doing!?"
Piedmon whispered furiously. Kazu grinned.
"The powers of good are fading... I sence more darkness and this kid... Well he's got a light in him..."
Buraimon nodded.
"I agree. We should at least see how capable he is. Where to Master?"
Kazu winced at the word Master, but Buraimon would have it no other way.
"A little place I want to check out. I was taken there once. Having my scar removed makes me... nostalgic..."

Jai saw Kazu walk off.
"Hey, I can go for trouble, I want to go on another adventure!"
Jai and Lucemon hoped that Kazu would stop, and walk back to them.
"Please? We're pretty much bored!"
"Yeah, and I accidently left my friend in the woods."
Jai scratched the back of his head and sighed.
I'm sorry Rei, I thought you'd actually follow me, not stay there.
Jai felt a pang up his arm, His cut! How could he forget it? He unwound the bandage and looked at the cut. It didn't look nasty, but a dark aura beated up his arm, to the rythm of his pulse. He sharply put the bandage back on, hoping Kazu would not see it. One thing he hated most was people making a fuss over him/
"Please?"

Kazu grinned. The kid had spirit.
"Come on then. We're going to visit somwhere pretty dangerous. The Underworld of the Digital World. I want to see if I can find where I got my old scars."
He waited for Jai to catch up before strolling off and out of town. He was still getting funny looks from the locals, he was still bloddied after all.
"Yeah! Yeah! Adventure time!"
Kazu ruffled the green blob's head and smiled. It was good to not be fighting again.
Behind the Tamers walked Buraimon and Piedmon. There was an awkward silence between the two since their fight.
"... Iknow what you did Piedmon. Yggdrasil is right you know?"
The clown scoffed.
"Please! You don't know a thing. I will be the God of Chaos... You just wait, I'll kill Yggdrasil if I have to!"
Buraimon sighed,
"You don't understand. Yggdrasil is not a God. He is creator and Destroyer. Indifferent. He leaves the work of Gods to those of us down here."
Piedmon shot a venomous look at the Bird-Samurai.
"Are you trying to suggest to me tat you are a God?!"
Buraimon chuckled.
"I brought our Master back to life. I think that speaks for itself."
He walked ahead of Piedmon, right hand rested loosly on his Katana.

Jai and Lucemon ran up to Kazu's team and began to walk with him.
My arm, why does it radiate evil? I hope Lucemon can fix it, after all, he is half Angel.

Robin nodded and used her Ice Make Magic to freeze the town. The whole town is now frozen. Robin then used more magic to crest a giant fence to guard it. "Ice Make..Barricade!!!" Kiro Laughed. "Awesome! Lets go Robin-chwan!" Kiro and Nico Robin exit to ???

Jai and Lucemon safely landed in the town square. Jai was relived to be on his own again, interpendant and free. But also felt lonely.
"Lucemon, what should we do? We abandoned Kazu and now we are stuck here."
"I don't know, I had to get you out of there, it was too dangerous. I'm trying to be your friend, a friend who looks out for you. You have to understand."
Jai muted, he didn't want to reply. He knew he wasn't wanted there, he knew that he would slow people down, and he knew that he was worthless.
"Jai, don't be like this. Perk up, there is no need to act like this."
Jai felt angry. He wanted to scream at Lucemon, and everyone in his pathetic existence. He knew he couldn't, that would make HIM the bad guy. He so wanted to release his anger, being constantly rejected, being weak, all these factors built up over time. A tear ran down Jai's face. He knew he would start to cry, it was inevitable. Jai burst out in tears, the only way to let his stress and anger escape. Lucemon grabbed Jai and hugged him, hoping to comfort the sobbing Tamer.
"Jai, don't worry, I'm always here to hep you."
Jai sniffed, he tried his best to stop crying like a little baby, and sort himself out.
"But, but I can't do anything."
"You don't need to do anything, I'll do it, just leave it to me"
Jai and Lucemon turned around, they saw the entire town was frozen, iced over like a tundra.
"Holy.."
"Oh my goodness."
Jai looked at the floor where they were standing, the only place that wasn't remotely iced.
"Lucemon, blaze it with a beam of energy, I'll go look for people!"
"Right on it!"
Jai and Lucemon ran to both ends of the town.
---Jai---
Jai ran over to a stall. No one. He sprinted over to a house. Empty.
"Where the blasted blazes has every bloody person in this town gone?"
He continued to search, and each search was fruitless.
"Hey, I can see Lucemon's already at work."
Jai looked up and saw golden light beam up over the houses.
---Lucemon---
Lucemon held his palms out and shot a super heated beam of energy at the ice. It melted and then evaporated in an instant.
"Heh, this is a piece of cake."
He melted the ice on praticaly everything in his line of sight. Then he would move to another location, repeating this process.
"This is so easy. i hope Jai has found some people."
After 20 minutes of hard work, the two boys met in the centre of town.
"Find anyone?"
"No. Did you melt it?"
"Yep, only half the town left. Lets get to it!"
The boys ran to the rest of town and continued work.

((Hey there Darkwing, ready to team up?))
Lief immediately noticed the town had been completely covered in ice. "What is this? Guys we gotta do something about this." Michael and Scout landed near the outskirts of the town trying to figure out a way to get in, "Nothin, looks like we need to melt our way in. Scout you're up." Scout dedigivolved to Weregarurumon and blasted at the wall of ice with his attack, "Fox Fire!!!" As the blue flames erupted from his mouth the beginnings of a tunnel was formed, "Alright do it again!" The group continued until they had made it all the way through to the city. :alright we did it! Let's go see if we can find any tamers that were trapped inside, head toward town square."
As they approached the middle they hadn't managed to find anyone, "I wonder if everyone's hiding, or maybe there were all wiped out by the attack. Let's just wait here, it's not like we can do much damage to this ice without Rusty here. I wonder if anyone knows where Kazu is" A few Digimon were wandering the streets but most seemed to be trying to stay out of the cold. Lief popped a squat on bench near by and tried to hatch a plan to help the city.

((I tried my best to thaw it out, but there's too much ice! xp ))
Jai and Lucemon ran back to the centre of town. Their work seemed to be nothing compared to the rest of the ice.
"Damn, I thought we would get it all."
"Yeah, I'm tired."
They boys turned around and saw someone sat on a bench.
"Hey, I see someone!"
Jai spotted the boy on the icy bench and shouted.
"Hey! A person!"

((Ya, I don't have Rusty with me so my firepower's a bit weak))
Lief popped hi head up as he saw someone running toward him, he saw the Lucemon behind him and was immediately ready for a fight, "Seraphimon be ready, Lucemon's stronger than he looks, Scout back him up if needed." Lief stood up and pulled his Digivice into the read position, "Who are you? State your purpose here?" Lief waited for a response not wanting to let his guard down, but really wanting to not start a fight here. This could after all be the guy who's been freezing things.
