Even though she had been asked what she had been there for a slue of bodies continued to stream through the office. Hard expression dimmed somewhat as she retreated within herself. she was tired and weary. Anywhere but here was ideal. Removing a small parchment scroll and writing tool from her belt she quickly jotted down her purpose for bothering to step foot into the office today.

Rolling up the scroll quickly, she left it at the corner of his desk. She bowed quickly and turned on her heel. Not wanting to be detained any further she headed for the door, opening it and exiting it. Even though she kept her gaze from meeting anyone else's in the room, she kept her posture straight and held her chin up. It was her defense mechanism against seeming weak, despite feeling utterly exhausted about everything in general. If the Kage needed her he could summon her when he wasn't busy. She highly doubted it. Kages in this village had a streak of keeping her caged or on a leash. At least she could look forward to resting, training and figuring things out while she was left to her own devices.

Walking up outside the Hokage’s tower, Bjorn placed his hand on the wall, concentrating his chakra. After a few moments, Black steel covered his arm and started spreading again. The walls and gate was the biggest of the reinforcements, so he figured this wouldn’t take too long. Watching the steel spread slowly, Bjorn would control its course to avoid covering the windows of the building, he wanted to strengthen the building, not make it miserable to be inside. (1/3)
Finishing the first wall of the building, Bjorn continued concentrating, spreading the steel around the corners to cover the adjacent walls. He tried to feel with his steel to tell if he was covered wooden wall, or empty space where a window would be. He grunted at Grym quickly for him to go check the other sides. When Grym had checked the two adjacent sides of the building he returned, growling “Looks good so far, Brother” (2/3)
Feeling the edges of the two walls, Bjorn focused more to bend the steel around to the final wall. With the two sides converging, this one wouldn’t take long and was quickly covered in steel. Walking around to check his handiwork, bjorn let the armor recede from his arms for right now, dusint his hands off. He and Grym then headed on to the next place they felt should be reinforced. (3/3)

XXXXXIbara rubbed his face it seemed he had passed out sitting on the couch or whatever he had been doing. He looked around the room and sighed softly. The office was empty so he figured he'd wander about the village. He completely forgot what he had wanted to speak with the Hokage about but did it really matter at this point? Ibara shrugged considering that if it were that important he would've remembered after his nap. He stood and wiped the sleepies out of his eyes and walked out the door of the office being sure to close the door behind him. He strolled down the hall moving quickly down the stairs before exiting the building and beginning his journey about the village. He supposed that he could go and do some more training, and honestly that's what he really should get to.

The trek to the office was a short one, yet Mariko was still a bit winded, practically having ran the whole way there. After she caught her breath, she and Isamu approached the door to the office, were an ANBU guard was stationed in front of it. She was a bit intimidated by his features, particularly because ANBU members were rather mysterious. There was much to be suspicious about, but because they worked directly under the Hokage, that eased her worries. "I'm here to see the Hokage for my headband. One for Isamu as well, he is my companion." After she spoke, silence hung between the three for what felt like an eternity, before the masked figure finally responded. "He is not here at the moment. You'll have to come back at another time, or look for him elsewhere." Mariko was not pleased, and this was quite obvious from the expression upon her face. "Oh, I see. I'll be going then... Mu, let's go." Isamu and Mariko turned around, exiting the building to the office, and headed towards the academy. [ Exit ]

Arriving to the office, Jae fiddled with a strand of her hair, making sure it was pinned up correctly. The dark blue of her hair was a stark contrast against her skin, more than her genetic pink hair color had been. Unfortunately she had cut too much hair off and had ended up with hair that barely reached her shoulder. Terrified of this new hairstyle change she pinned her hair up and out of the way. Getting over her outward appearance breakdown she let out a small breath. This was for a reason. Making the slow changes she needed in order to move from her mourning period and forward, finally. Freaking out about how she looked was something she had not paid attention to for more than a year. These small trivial things were important to feeling more human so she indulged herself in the silliness of it all but here was not the time nor the place.
Standing before the Hokage's office door she mulled over how she wanted to approach the Kage this time. She had left a letter on the desk on her first report here. Jae had been irritated at the bodies in the room at the time and had used that as her excuse to escape a detailed report to the Hokage. Closing her eyes she tried to get a feel for what might lay before her in terms of who occupied the room. From what she sensed there didnt seem to be that many bodies in the room right now. At least she hoped. Knocking on the door she waited for a fraction of a second before reaching for the door handle and trying her luck.
The door opened a bit, Jae pushing it open and peering into the room. A quick glance of the room with her azure orbs confirmed that the room was empty save for one person. The Hokage. The only person she wanted to deal with at the moment. Privacy was very short lived in this area so Jae didn't bother waiting for him to grant her permission to enter the room. She slipped inside, letting the door shut behind her. "Lord Hokage...I need to speak with you." Jae muttered, her voice soft despite her cut to the chase style of speaking. She was not the type to beat around the bush and when something was on her mind she went straight for it. Being this frank in front of the Hokage was nothing new to her character.
Her gaze settled on him, the bird sage taking note that he was a new face. She hadn't really paid any attention before when she had first reported from her leave of absence. Indeed the stick of power had shifted to someone else. Cursed... She thought to herself, reflecting on all of the previous men who had occupied this office and called themselves the Hokage of Konoha. It had always ended very quickly. Thus incurring Jae to label the position as cursed. Finally having memorized his features and posture, she looked away. Her gaze settling on the shelf of books in the room. The, now, blue haired woman idly wondered if the secret room her 'grandpa' had used still existed.

Feeling as though he could not have come at a better time. He was not sure how many might have passed by while he was absent but it was not really too long before he was there. Looking up at Jae noticing she had quiet a new look to say the least. Leaning back in his chair hoping that the matter was not too pressing. "Nice new look by the way, I almost would not have recognized you." Smiling some to her he put on more of a serious face. "So, What can I help you with. Might we discuss things here or are you worried about intrusion?" He could not deny the fact that many seemed to just let themselves in at the most random of times.

Coaxing her head to one side she nodded her head once to his compliment, not really rising up to the common courtesy she should have displayed at the compliment. Jae wasn't good with compliments. Not even before her year long depression. The blue haired sage had picked this image in order to toss away the old and to make it easier for her to infiltrate the place she was desiring the most to invade. If she looked nothing like herself, nothing could be traced back to her. The one remaining weakness she had left. It was the point of the heavy dye experiment.
The Hokage looked to be the perfect picture of ease, this striking her as odd. The air around him had been much different in the Academy where she had first glimpsed his retreating figure. Her mind worked quickly, Jae coming to the possible deduction that this man wasn't the Hokage in the flesh. Regardless, she needed to handle her business today without delay. Clone, in person, it mattered not. "Here is fine." She muttered, finally making eye contact with him. She didn't want to prolong this anymore than she needed to. "I need your help getting the experience I need to get to the next level." She started, crossing her arms over her chest. There was no easy way to tell the kage that she needed 'more experience enriching missions'. She continued to hold his gaze as she spoke, never once shying away from it. "The last few Kages weren't very helpful..." She trailed, her memories going back more than a year prior. She needed the missions or else she was going where she would be able to learn. Whether it was here or there, it mattered not. So long as she was productive and moving forward with her goals. For far too long she had let this village set her as the back burner for less qualified shinobi but no longer. She was strong and determined to get what she wanted. No one, not even the Hokage himself was going to stop her from doing so. It only served her purpose to first seek assistance here, at the place where she was condemned to protect the village and it's innocent citizens.
Now she looked away from him, returning her perusal of the office, visually. Placing her hands behind her back she laced her fingers together and approached the book case with a curious expression.
Bast approached the Office doors behind the ANBU, but noticed very quickly that he was already talking with someone. Rather than interrupt, she told her escort she'd rather wait until the Kage took care of whatever was going on in there, then arranged herself opposite the door with her back against the wall. It sounded like whoever was in there had some things to say, and it would probably be best to let them speak in her opinion.

Ryoku listened to her while he rifled through the paper work. Hoping a mission might be available that could possibly be of help to her. Coming across a disturbance within Takumi he was a bit surprised. That village has remained nutral for a while now.. A long while. Reports say that it is believed to be UHV. Looking more into the description it looked far to petty to be the UHV. Why would they bother to murder the clerk and steal from a store in Takumi. Judging by their gear he saw for himself they had gear far superior to things sold in stores. Never the less she was looking for experience filled missions this could prove to be just that. Looking up to her he held the paperwork.
"It would seem a request came in recently that might fit the description you are looking for. It would seem that the armor and tailor within Takumi was hit by some sort of attack and robbery. It seems there was a casualty as well as one thing stolen. It says the report states that UHV were involved but my instincts tell me otherwise. The UHV would take the whole store if they needed it. This seems petty and sloppy for something they would do. I would keep your eyes open. Expect UHV but I believe they are not involved despite the claim." Ryoku stood up and walked over to Jae handing her the report stating that Chakra dispersal gloves were taken and that the stand in shop keep was murdered. "I do ask to please keep a low profile, we must not bring any harm to the village or civilians. If you find the culprit feel free to use whatever force you deem necessary but be mindful of collateral damage."

Reaching for a book, her fingers brushed one of the spines, the blue eyed woman looking for the right book to pull off of the shelf. She did not recall the correct book that served as the lever but if the secret wall remained, one of these was the trigger. She picked a tattered book off of the shelf and was disappointed when nothing happened. Her scowl was a little more defined and she quickly slipped the book back into place. The Hokage spoken then, informing her of something that had happened in Takumi. It had been rumored that the UHV were involved, something that instantly had all of the sages attention.
Looking to him, she watched as he came around and approached her, report in hand. Jae glanced at the folder, tight mouthed and gingerly reached for the report. Taking it from his grasp, she opened it and quickly read through the contents as he finished debriefing her of part of her mission objectives. What he said was the truth. If the UHV were really involved they would have taken what they needed in a different fashion and on a much larger scale. Stealing from Takumi was too flashy and drew too many eyes for the, usually, hard to pinpoint group. It could be a set up to draw in some members to lay a trap or to bring in those who would go up against the organization. Information was key in any cat and mouse game and the UHV was notoriously known to be one step ahead. It was the only reason that they had not been destroyed yet. Always elusive and always better equipped. For now... Jae thought, reflecting on the mounting villages that were soon to go for the head of the snake.
Jae walked to the Hokage's desk, stepping away from him, and set the folder and it's contents on the table. One glance and she had already memorized it's contents. The habit she had maintained as a child still applied now. Such was the blessing of a photogenic memory. "I understand..." She managed, her voice flat and her gaze distant. Oh how wonderful it would be to catch someone related to the UHV. Then her bloodlust for those idiots would finally be sated for the time being. "Thank you for the opportunity." Was her response to the mission and her verbalization of acceptance. Moving to stand before him once more she bowed formally, keeping her hands to her side. She always felt so odd when she was required to act this way and her stiff body screamed her discomfort.
Wanting to leave as soon as possible, Jae pivoted on her foot and moved for the door. Opening it, she noted that someone else was waiting to seek audience with the Hokage. Jae's eyes stayed fixed on the stranger person, the woman holding the door open for a fraction of a second longer to allow the person to slip inside instead. Other than that, her expression moved on and down the hallway. Her footsteps followed that line of sight until Jae was out of the building and on her way to her next adventure.

The Hokage, it seemed, had finished with his conference. Bast grabbed the door before it could shut and slipped inside as soon as the girl was out of the way. Once inside, she bowed to the Hokage.
"Greetings, Lord Hokage," she opened with contrived enthusiasm that betrayed hints of either nervousness or hunger, "and thank you for having me today. To get straight to business, I've come here as a person and not an emissary of the Sand. I understand one of our people paid you a visit recently, and I'd like to assure you we're here for separate matters. Is this a good time and place to discuss a trade agreement that could work out very favorably for both of us during engagements with the UHV?"
The woman had noticed on the way here that her ANBU escort hesitated slightly as they passed what looked to be the Academy. Given that there had not seemed to be anything too peculiar happening at the time and that ANBU typically didn't have students, she wondered if she was speaking with the real Hokage. She remembered using clones to be in multiple places at once when she was a bit younger, so it was not too far-fetched to think the Hokage might do the same. If he were using clones, she found that raised another question: Was this the real Hokage, or was it fake? The answer wouldn't change much, so long as their agreement--or lack thereof--would stand.

Ryoku was glad she was taking the mission, it would put his mind some at ease about this false UHV impersonator. WIth any luck she would simply handle the matter on her own and they would just be done with it. Gazing at the book case he was very curious as to why she not only stared at it for a bit but also took a book off the case.. not to read but he watched her reactions as she did it as if she was expecting something to happen. There is a good chance there is more to this room then meets the eye. Tucking the thought away for a later time he welcomed another Suna ninja into the room after Jae had left. Having already known about the previous encounter he had did not surprise him.
The sound of a trade agreement confused him slightly. Speaking up wile the thought was on his mind. "We still have the DNA samples and exotic plants that we were going to deliver shortly. Along with some shinobi for training. As I remember was the previous arrangement. Was there a new arrangement that you were wanting to set up? Don't get me wrong, I am all for friendly and favorable exchanges between our village on an average bases. Even after the UHV are history we tell our students."Ryoku waited patiently for her offer and awaited it intently. His curiosity was apparent.
