Henrietta stared at the two. It was particularly terrifying. Quietly behind Eunmi, luckily hidden because the girl was taller than her, Henrietta would fix the broken strap of her dress in rudimentary form, tying the ends together. Were they going to fight? Because of her?
Henrietta's lips parted to speak but she couldn't find the words. Salieri wanted her shinai, right?
Taking a deep breath she whispered, unable to get her voice to an audible pitch, "m-my shinai."

Salieri felt Eunmi let go of her wrist, thankful that she didn't have to show her new friend just how serious she was. That's a good girl.
She didn't want to have to explain the story to Eunmi, who seemed to have something personal going on with Henrietta. Well, obviously. Sal didn't know whether it was a lover's quarrel or something else, but she knew she didn't want to get involved. Or get Henrietta in trouble with Eunmi.
"You know that wooden sword she carries around? Long story short, it's mine now." Then she turned to Henrietta and held out her hand again, waiting for what she was owed.

Eunmi glanced at Henrietta. The shinai? Wasn't that really important to Henrietta...?
"Geez, Henrietta, what all did you get yourself into today?"
"Fine," Eunmi said. She decided she was too angry to talk with Henrietta about what had happened just yet, so she turned to leave. But she paused and glanced at Sal.
"It seems like you should have been my opponent," Eunmi said sharply, looking away, her back to both of them. "You let her win, didn't you?"

"I-it's at the hotel," Henrietta said to Salieri. She looked at Eunmi and then back to Salieri. Oh how she wanted both of them to go away. It wasn't that she hated them, more so that they terrified her at the moment. That she'd been embarrassed and humiliated and now they were angry with her.

Salieri folded her arms. Well, it looked like Eunmi was pretty sharp. Although maybe Salieri had been the clear favorite for her matchup against Henrietta. But regardless, the trainer had it already figured out. No reason to hide the truth anymore.
"I was feeling generous today," she told Eunmi with a small smirk on her lips. "I'll admit you've got some moves though. I'll fight you anytime you want, Emi."
Her tone was playful. It was a genuine offer, not a threatening sort of thing like she was just seconds before. She really did want to fight both of them, but especially Eunmi. She had defeated Bill. If she could beat Emi, then by proxy she felt that she could have beaten Bill as well.
Then she turned to Henrietta. "Well then, let's go get it," she told Henrietta, not sounding neatly as stern or terrifying now that she had caught up with the girls. In fact, she almost wanted to pinch their cheeks and tell them that they looked cute together. As a joke, of course.
Although they might have both died from embarrassment.

"Fight me...?"
Eunmi looked back, her expression softening. Eunmi had wanted to fight, hadn't she? Bill had made for a difficult match, and she had wanted a good challenge to win in the end. For herself, not just for Henrietta.
"Ugh, what's wrong with me," Eunmi frowned, lifting her head to her forehead before dragging her fingers back through her hair and reaching to tie it back up.
"You can't brawl with people and be a fashion designer at the same time, Eunmi."
"Tch," Eunmi started, about to blow off Salieri, but then smiled.
"I guess there's still time before Castelia."
"Whatever," she said, waving her hand now that her hair was tied back up. "Maybe after we get some lunch? I'm starved."

We get some lunch?
"I-i'll pass," said Henrietta. "I-i'll go get the shinai."
Then she'd attempt to slink away.

"Uh-uh," Eunmi frowned, stretching out to catch Henrietta's arm again, pulling her back to walk with them.
"You barely ate the past few days," she said, looking a little annoyed, but significantly less than before. "You're not skipping any more meals.
"Eesh, I can't believe you were so easy on her," Eunmi complained.

Henrietta gave a squeak as she was pulled back.
Her mind doesn't stay in one place long. Or, does she not care that I fought Gorm?
Henrietta considered reminding her but left it alone. Instead she cast her gaze elsewhere, a building, or the sky or something.

Salieri shrugged. With the advent of her brother's arrival into Nacrene City, she had been in a pretty good mood. Even if she had seemed terrifying before, it was only because she was naturally territorial. Moze's influence was really what had gotten her to forfeit with such surprising ease.
"Like I said, I was feeling generous today. I also feel like I've been hungry forever. How does sandwiches sound to-"
Spacetime rippled in between the three of them as a Gallade suddenly warped onto the scene in a flash. Salieri instinctively jumped back from the Teleport, but then took notice of the delivery bag and red scarf the pokemon wore. "Mayer!"
Salieri had already forgotten that the night before, she had called her mom and asked for a delivery. Her mother's Gallade looked at Salieri with bored eyes, holding up two fingers for a peace sign. "Lade."
She walked up to the Gallade and gave him a playful punch in the arm. "Jeez Mayer, you scared the hell out of me. Where have you been all day?"
Mayer shrugged. "Well, it's nice to see you. Did my mom give you anything to give to me, by any chance?"
The Gallade nodded and went into his pocket to retrieve a note. "By the way, Mayer, these are my friends. The tall one is Emi," Salieri said while putting an arm around Mayer's shoulder, pointing to Eunmi. "The scared looking one is Henrietta." Then she jabbed her thumb back at the Gallade. "Guys, this is my mom's Gallade Mayer."
"Gallade," the pokemon grunted, still rummaging through the bag.

"Ah!" Eunmi had to jump back, accidentally probably jerking Henrietta back as well. The korean girl didn't know Pokemon could do such things as Teleport. She calmed considerably once Salieri explained who the Pokemon was, but she still cautiously stared at it all the while.
"Pokemon are amazing creatures."
"H-hey," Eunmi said with one wave of her hand. "Uhm..."
She pulled her Pokedex out of her pocket and clicked it open, but the screen was blank.
"Dead battery?" Eunmi murmured. Not cool. "Hey, Sal, what kind of Pokemon is that?"
((By kind, she means Type of course.))

Henrietta was, indeed, pulled by Eunmi. She stumbled momentarily before she managed to catch her balance. Then she looked at the Gallade, she'd jumped too, actually, which had contributed to the stumble.
Unlike Eunmi, though, she didn't feel relaxed. This was one more reason to add to the list of 'reasons that I don't want to be here'.
So, Henrietta opted to stay quiet. Ground sure looked nice.

"Fighting and Psychic. As a martial artist, I have to say that I'm normally not a fine of Psychic types. But Mayer's an exception." She put her hands on her hips proudly. "Yep, Mayer is pretty much the man. Isn't that right, Mayer?"
Mayer shrugged. "Lade," he replied nonchalantly, handing Salieri a note. Puzzled, she took her glasses out of her beltbag and opened up the note to read it. It was from her mother, transcribed by her father. In the meantime, the Gallade turned to Emi and Henrietta.
<It's nice to see that Master Salieri has made some friends>
The telepathic message was broadcasted right into Henrietta and Eunmi's heads: Salieri was not privy to the message. Instead, she just read the note.
"Dear Salieri, hahahahaha, did you really think I was going to send you the nunchucks? Honey you must be out of your mind if you think I'm letting you travel Unova with weapons. You're a pokemon trainer now. If you feel the need to fight with weapons to protect yourself, you're not doing it right..."
She took a break from reading the note to roll her eyes. "Damnit Mom...But if you're having a rough time, I have something else for Mayer to give you. It's not a weapon, but it should be enough to make your spirits float. You're doing a great job, darling. Love, Mom..."
Mayer took a deflated, grey balloon out of the bag and handed it to Salieri. She took it, raising an eyebrow at the toy. "...I have no idea what to make of this."

"Whoa, what's it doing?" Eunmi said, waving a hand in front of the Gallade's face.
"Did it just talk?" Eunmi looked for a mouth. It didn't seem to have. Eunmi glanced at Salieri and noticed the balloon.
"Aw man, D-Vee would love that," Eunmi said pointing to it. "He loves balloons."

Aaaaah, it's in my head!
Can it hear me? Ahhhh, I hope not!
Henrietta suddenly felt very paranoid. She stared at the Gallade like it was totally raping her mind or some s**t.
And then she took a step backward. I don't want my mind reeeaaaad!
