Eunmi's Flashback]
Skip to dojo!
Outside of the dojo gates, Moze took a pokeball off of his belt and released a Mudkip. "Muuud-kip!"
"Okay, now dad usually sets up an exercise for when we get home. Just let us run past this real quick and then we can explain to situation to him. Bai-ekka can help you get to the path of least resistance if you have to run. Isn't that right, Bai?"
"Kipkip!"
"Moze, check what test it is!" Salieri hissed nervously over to Moze from their position of slinking against the dojo's outer walls. Moze peeked his head around the corner to see was beyond the gates.
"Oh, this one's not so bad. It's just the sandbag cannons." Salieri sighed in relief. "That's good, usually when it's raining he sets up the spike pits." "Hmm, those are definitely the worst...I wonder where he keeps those...You ready to go, mystery girl?"

[Flashback]
Even after the explanation, it didn't make sense to Eunmi. But the aesthetic of the dojo was similar to her grandmother's house, or at least, it was one of the only other asian-influenced looking places she'd seen.
"Spikes?" Eunmi asked in disbelief. Whether she wanted to or not, she would probably have to run. Probably dragged or something.

[Eunmi's Flashback]
Moze nodded. "Yep. Seems like she gets it. Okay, when I say go, we all make a break for it."
Salieri gave Emi a quick pat on the back. "Good luck," she said cheerfully before the got into a sprinting position.
Moze took a deep breath. "Aaaaaaand go!"
The preteen bolted out from behind the wall and towards the gate, where he pushed open the large red gates. As soon as he ran inside, the sound of cannonfire could be heard, and soon after that were solid THUDS of things landing on the ground. Salieri then, with a loud battlecry, ran into the fray.
"Kipkip!" Bai-ekka yelped as he ran in too, expecting Eunmi to follow. What the korean girl would see next would be a massive, marble tiled courtyard and a large and fancy looking dojo far behind it, all within the confines of the property's high walls. She would also see, sure enough, four cannons positioned on the porch firing white sandbags out at the two Del Forrest siblings in two second intervals of time for each shot.
The brother and sister pair bobbed and weaved, doing their best to dodge the incoming sandbags that exploded onto the ground behind them while headings towards their porch, where their father stood with his hands behind his back.
The closer they got, the more complex their movements became as the cannons were in a shorter range of fire. When one would get too close, they would twist and turn their bodies in elegant, dance like motions to avoid getting hit. They would flip or roll past the obstacles, recovering from their acrobatics back into their runs without missing a beat.
And the Mudkip would run right after them, using his ability to detect vibrations in the air to aid his dodges. He was going on the path where they would receive the least amount of fire since the cannons were mostly focused on the siblings. If one stray sandbag would get too close to Eunmi, Bai-ekka would blast it down with a Water Gun.
And when they crossed over a white chalk line drawn before the porch on the marble tile, the Del Forrest siblings would stop to catch their breath and see if Eunmi had made it across. With Bai-ekka's help, it shouldn't have been a problem.

[Flashback]
Eunmi sprinted quickly after the Mudkip, definitely in a manner not as cool as Moze and Salieri. She was slipping and weighed down by her wet clothes, but luckily the Mudkip was good enough to make up for her failures. She tried to stop after crossing the white line, but the speed at which she forced herself to run was too much for her, and she ended up wavering for a second. She didn't fall, but she certainly looked silly.
"W-what...why did..." she gasped for breath. She didn't have the energy to finish asking the what and why's of what just happened.

To Takamaru, who was apparently focusing straight ahead, it would probably seem as though a mountain of various colors and patchwork would appear in his path, the obese lad appearing almost mysteriously there, as though fate demanded they crossed paths. If Takamaru bumped into him, Robby would look over sort of surprised and frown at the kid. "Hey. You're that one kid who says "ne" instead of being normal."

((Trop, why you so mean to your characters? Poor Henrietta.... crying Same goes for you Jump. Poor Salieri. crying ))
Making people's lives easier. What an interesting prospect. "Nice metaphor there. Oh, and thanks."
Then the Gallade appeared. Thankfully, Luka had had enough experience of Pokémon randomly teleporting into existence to not be shocked by the Gallade's appearence. Then, Moze introduced them. "Hi Mayer, I'm Luka, nice to meet ya." He nodded his head in a sort of greeting bow thing and just smiled.
This was perhaps the most interesting day he'd ever had in his life.

Takamaru's butt hit pavement as he bounced off of Robby not paying attention to where he was going.
"yea...yea, that's me alright" said the kid as he applied pressure to his now sore bottom. "and your the one who names his Pokemon off his diet right? Nice to see ya' again" he continued. 'not normal? oh yea, that sounds just like middle school all over again'
But he long since got over letting remarks like that get to him, hell, the kid suffered from it all through out middle school. Learning how to talk back to the bully's was just something a prideful person dose after awhile.

((Because the happy endings will be so much sweeter that way razz ))
Mayer gave Luka a quick upwards nod. "Lade," he grunted before turning his head back to Moze. The two continued to converse telepathically, with Moze providing a one sided commentary like someone on the telephone.
"Uh-huh...she's doing what? No way...oh, so soon? Well, do you think you can give me a lift?" Moze grinned. "Excellent."
He grabbed onto the Gallade's shoulder and looked over to Luka. "Well Luka, Mayer's going to take me over to Nimbasa City really quickly. He somehow got a ticket to see the supermodel show in the musical hall." He gave Mayer a playful elbow in the side. "Sly guy. Anyway, do you need to be dropped off anywhere around here? We can do that for you if you want."

[Eunmi's Flashback]
Moze gave Eunmi a pat on the back and returned Bai-ekka to his pokeball. "Nice going," he told her while Salieri walked up to her father. After a minute of conversation, she and the dojo master walked over to Eunmi and Moze. Koichi was only starting to go bald at this point of his life, but the slight recession of his hairline was still evident.
"My daughter said that you needed a place to stay," he said gruffly with his hands behind his back. "We can set up a spare bed in her room if you wish to spend the night. Are you very far from home...er..."
"Oh yeah, what's your name?" Moze quickly asked Eunmi. "I'm Moze." Koichi rose an eyebrow.
"You never got her name?"
"Nope, but I did ask her to be my girlfriend," Moze told his dad before sheepishly rubbing the back of his head. "I'm still waiting on an answer."
"Zeshashasha!" Koichi laughed heartily, reeling in his son and giving him a one armed hug. "Can you believe him? He's only eleven and he thinks he's a playboy!"
Salieri folded her arms and looked over to the side. "I'm Salieri," she mumbled to Eunmi.

((Awwwww. biggrin Not that Trop is gonna give Henrietta a happy ending. Trop likes tragedy too much. XD))
Luka grinned. What a sleazy git this guy was, it was such a shame that you couldn't help but just like the guy, he just exuded fun no matter what he was talking about. Moze was an alright guy even if he was a playboy and a complete lunatic. Noting the offer of getting dropped off anywhere: "Nah, I'm alright thanks. I'm pretty much just gonna stroll on back into Nacrene and find some stuff to do, it's been ages since I've been home." He smiled again. "Have fun at the show."
Luka's cheeks were starting to ache from smiling so much. He didn't think he'd smiled this much in his life. Gosh, these journeys were full of surprises.

((Oh man, I hope Henrietta gets a happy ending. Poor girl can't catch a break))
Moze gave Luka a thumbs up. "Alright then! Nice to meet ya, Luka! Hopefully we'll run into each other again, I'm sure you and I can make fantastic music together someday." He turned his head to Mayer the Gallade. "Alright, beam me up Sc-"
The two of them Teleported away before Moze could finish his sentence. Not that it mattered, anyway. Mayer hated when he made that joke.

((Me too. biggrin ))
Luka nodded with a laughing, "See ya" as Moze and Mayer teleported away. Well, now to walk back into Nacrene and see what there was to do for the day. Should be an interesting little jaunt if he could find anything.

[Flashback]
"Sung Eunmi," Eunmi said with a little bow of the head. She was embarrassed by their hospitality.
"I-I live in Lavender Town," Eunmi replied. From this knowledge alone, maybe Koichi would know of the Sung family - Eunmi's Grandmother (and her parents, for that matter, until they moved to Unova) were well known in Lavender Town for being Spirit Mediums. Although Eunmi didn't really know this, since she was so little, the Sung's used to offer their services as a business to those who claimed to have hauntings or other ghostly problems.
"But Emi is fine," Eunmi said quickly. She much preferred her nickname, as it wasn't completely obvious she was first generation Korean-Kantoian.

The obese lad nodded at Takamaru's perfect remembrance of him. It was surprising that he had so aptly guessed the basics of the pokemons' names, but he didn't seem to get the full gist. Robby decided not to fully instruct him in that. It wasn't like he liked long-winded speeches.
"Good t'know I'm memorable." Robby looked at the kid, then frowned at him and shrugged. What else was there to say? Oh yeah, he needed to know where something was, maybe the kid knew? "D'you know where the gym is?" Maybe he should have tried for a proper conversation? It wasn't too late right?
"So, the weather's pretty cool, huh?"

[Eunmi's Flashback]
Koichi did indeed recognize the family name of Sung. Although he did not know much about the spirits himself, he was aware of the renowned Sung family name. So like he had done with his son, he reeled in Eunmi with a one armed hug.
"Well Emi, you're welcome to stay the night here! Now let's go inside and get out of this rain!"
~~~~
After the family and Eunmi ate dinner (which was noodles and some sort of chicken. Koichi did not know how to make much outside of noodles), Koichi and Moze left to go to the basement to train. Salieri was left to wash the dishes, and Eunmi was left in Salieri's company in the kitchen. She had been silent for almost all of dinner, aside from the occasional response to an asked question.
"Were you running away?"
Salieri blurted this question out randomly, breaking the silence completely. She felt the need to explain, so she continued. "Most travelers I've seen have had a plan with where they were going. You were completely lost."
[Flashback]
Eunmi had gained a lot of her confidence back in a short amount of time. She had rather enjoyed the dinner, especially because she had not been allowed to finish her own at home.
"Yeah," Eunmi shifted, glancing away. It wasn't as though she were hiding it, nor was she embarrassed about running away. Of course, that's also because she - like most things - didn't think it through.
"My mom and dad sent me away to my grandmother's for the summer. She is crazy," Eunmi said, opening her arms wide, exaggerating her statement. "...I'm sick of her rules!"
Eunmi looked very passionately about her dislike for her grandmother, but caught herself, raising her arm up to scratch the back of her head.
"Hehehe... Sorry," Eunmi said. "She's just like all about Korea region and stuff. I don't know why. But it's so...! UGH!"
Eunmi realized she was being dramatic again and composed herself.
"Are you guys like... Ninjas?" Eunmi asked. Being a child and also being rather dumb, Eunmi thought any practitioner of martial arts was a ninja.
