Background
The first day Merete laid eyes on the Kawani lands was literally her first. She had found herself on a vast beach near a chilly ocean. With her mane, tail, and coat being wet, she assumed that she probably came from somewhere else. Although there was wondering, there was never questioning. Merete wanted to know where she came from, but never dwelled on it.
