"It is simply food poisoning." Cricket answered, as another marking dropped off of her body, solidifying to the floor and seeming to hiss where it was. She leaned against the window and coughed a bit, the dark color in her body seeming to fade slightly. When she sat up, a long trail of the dark liquid spilled down her chin and she wiped it away with one hand.
"Interesting..." she seemed fascinated by her own state of being, walking over to her desk and pulling out a notebook and a pen, offering it to Malodore. "This is a learning opportunity. Perhaps you should take notes of observation on what you have seen between how this is effecting me, and what it did to her.." her eyes turned towards Riley, seeming pleased, in a way, to see her up, before she walked back over to the window to get more fresh air.

Nodding, she was unsure of what to make of everything. All she wanted right now was just to get more answers, find Bul, and get the heck out of here. It was a little too loud, and rough in this place at the moment. Thankfully, things seemed to die down a bit. Hopefully now, the other students would be able to focus on healing. Herself, on the other hand, would prefer to just go back to her dorm or something and heal. When her fear was in full force, or close too again, then maybe she could come back and offer assistance if it was needed. But she was sure, by then, most of the students would have recovered.
"Yeah.." She glanced to Pepin and Riley, watching them a moment before shifting her gaze to Willow as she held out her hand for her to take. Reaching up, she accepted the assistance up and steadied herself when back on her feet. "Lets get out of here, yeah?"Exiting

"The... career counselor?" Malodore tilted its head to one side. Clearly, it hadn't found that particular figure worthy of note, as it barely remembered the incident. "I shall have to trust your memory in this," it said, after a moment's pause. "If that was, indeed, a Hunter, then they only have information on a handful of students, yes? So many new first years have come since then."
At Cricket's response, though, it shifted its focus to her, though it kept one hand resting on Riley's shoulder. The nurse was quite right - they had to learn as much about this strange injury, this strange substance, as they could. From knowledge came power, after all. "Si, I will do so," it murmured, accepting notebook and pen before settling back, glancing from Cricket to Riley and back again.

Muka just stood, fidgetted, and eventually made his way out of the infirmary. he was feeling better, had no injuries and wasn't needed. Let the loved ones share their time.
He'd like a nap.

Willow made a face as she seen cricket having turned into... whatever it was cricket turned into and seemingly ate Riley, before going back to her normal state.
She nodded to Mei, "Yes.... lets." She followed the living doll quickly not really wanting to see if Cricket ended up changing again.[[ Exit]]

Now that things had settled down, the baku felt as if she could practically collapse from a mixture of relief and exhaustion. That net trap had drained a lot of FEAR from her, and she had a feeling that she would be out cold for a couple of hours the moment she reached her dorm room and hit her bed.
...Mm, sleep. That sounded really tempting now.
With a last wave to remaining familiar faces, Xiu turned to leave.

Oh, for the love of Jack - Nurse Cricket, this is no time for observation. You need to-
To what? Was there any more subtle way to put this?
-You need to throw me up. She looked up at Malodore, her eyes strained with concern. It had tried to make Riley throw up, once. Could it do the same for the nurse?

"What do you think I am doing?" Cricket replied. "I am not a water toy that spews water and vomit everywhere, unlike some people." She might have been referencing the event at the eating contest with the Terror Warrior. Just maybe.
"Unfortunately, what my body does is more complicated than just purging anything right out of it." she noted, coughing a few more times, more of the black sludge coming along with it, right out the window (hopefully nobody was walking along underneath that....) before she straightened up. "And observation is something worth taking no matter the situation. If another student were to walk in with these symptoms, I'd need to know what to look for symptom wise.
There is a bigger picture after all."

Food poisoning. Well that was one way to put it, he supposed. Jericho stared over at Cricket as she referred to her... weird marking shedding thing. It was strange to see, but he did prefer that over straight up vomit. Certainly better than what Andeon did during Terror Warrior.
That was horrific in its own right.

Christof had gone still and quiet once he had finished with Mort, tensing when Amrita had flung herself on him, but had no idea what to do beyond that.
The shout that permeated his mind nearly made him leap away from Amrita's tight clinging- Mistress was alive! His grip on the undead ghoul beside him tightened, his head craning around to Riley's bedside in frantic need to see her move, a tentacle twitch-
She was alive.
The idea that Riley could have died had occurred to him. It had crawled out from the dark recesses of his chest to twist it's fingers in his organs and snarling in his mind.
There was Master Barth but... Mistress was Mistress. It was something he couldn't explain to anyone, especially not to someone like Calder... something only she and Master Barth seemed to even comprehend. He needed her, needed what she represented, and the idea of losing that... it would be like losing a vital Part. a vital Part that could not be replaced easily. One that would hurt to lose.
He wanted to run to her, to beg to help, to tell her how terrified he was... But that wouldn't have begun to cover it. Instead he stood, shifting on the spot as people milled to her bedside, listening to snippets of conversation and only half comprehending them. Something about the Hunters... something about the nurse being ill... something about insanity... it didn't matter.
Mistress was alright.
After many students were starting to mill out of the office, he shifted forward silently. She had both Jericho and Malodore now. She would be alright. She didn't need him. Without wanting to interrupt, he moved to crouch behind the foot of her cot on the floor, content to quietly wait until he could possibly be useful.

Cricket's answer was disheartening, but no one knew better than her how to take care of herself, so Riley forced herself to bite down on the distress that bubbled up whenever she thought about the poison swimming around the Nurse's system right now.
She heard the quiet, but distinct shuffle of Christof's feet nearby, and her mind wandered into another tangent.
Christof, come to Mistress. She murmured, reaching her hand out. I need your help with something.
She cringed as even that small movement triggered thousands of other tiny muscle movements, which in turn made the gaping hole in her stomach wrench in pain. She couldn't even get a good look at it..
Can someone get me a mirror? Yes, at a time like this.

Somewhere below the Nurses office walking along side Shehk, Sammy was blessed to have a bit of Riley fall on her shoulder.
She was really not amused about this.
At some point she probably also deserved that anyway.

The hunchback nearly knocked the cot as he stood up immediately, his mental voice tense and anxious as he lurched to her side, Yes Mistress! I am here! What do you need, anything! You will be alright now, just you see, they all took good care of you, Mistress... A... a mirror... the voice trailed off anxiously, content to stand by her side while someone else fetched the item. He wasn't sure what she wanted with it... but he tried to at least keep a cork on the building pressure bubbling inside him. There would be time for that later... She needed him now! Almost on auto pilot, he gently scooped up her cold hand to press the back of her palm against his stitched lips. She was alive and talking to him and needed him and wasn't going to stay hurt.
He didn't want to look at the gaping hole in her stomach. She was not undead. That did not belong there.

Edel quite nearly panicked when Moure's head began to slide off, relaxing slightly when it didn't. “A-Alright then” Edel said this only because the really did not want to see the patchwork boil fall apart into pieces any further. The ghoul noticed that Moure had intended to reach for the needle and thread nearby so she took it upon herself to get the two items. Perhaps she could just fix his hand back on ... The frost demon looked at the patchwork boil hesitantly.
Threading the needle, the ghoul began to sew Moure's hand back on. “Does it hurt?” she asked, concerned. She had been sewing rather gingerly thus far, wincing each time she pierced his flesh with the needle. In terms of getting his hand reattached, her work wasn't too shabby (she did know how to sew) but there was the constant worry that she was using the wrong stitch.
As for Moure's last question, the ghoul only turned around to look at the nurse after she was done with the last stitch. She had paid Moure too much attention to notice the spectacle earlier. “Yes, I guess so... why?” Edel snipped the end of the thread and handed the needle over to Moure. Glancing down at her work, Edel could not help but ask, “Is this alright?”

Jericho's attention soon went back to Riley as he heard her request a mirror. Ah, that shouldn't be too hard to find. Looking around, he held up a finger to say one moment, then went to locate one. Not too long afterwards, he returned with a mirror for the mindflayer.
"Uh... It's not pretty. I'll warn you that much," he said with a grimace.
