"Whoo," Avani whistled. "Nice. That's definitely something I wouldn't be able to do on my own."

Kota laughed. "Yeah...it's really hard to do if you haven't figured out the key...but i'm not very good at it, though my parents are masters." He said laughing. "Its useful. I'm trying to reinvent it though"

Rand paused for a moment as he sat back, his hand resting against his ribs to gently trace the length of the bandages around him. "Something to explain in detail....Alright. How do we Guardians fit into the current situation? As far as I know the Kings of each Kingdom haven't had need for us in centuries. And I don't know if some of them will take kindly to us."

Leigh Ann, despite having just eaten a short while ago, found herself hungry at the sight of all the yummy smelling food. She grabbed herself some bread to start out with and ate as she listened.

Rand turned to watch Leigh-Ann with a small smile as he waited on the Huntress, allowing himself to finally grab something to nibble on. He plucked a nice slice of fresh-baked bread, adding some of the fruit and cheese to create a neat little snack close to the Earth Guardian's own. He bit deeply into the small meal, his stomach rumbling with impatience from his prolonging ordering the food earlier. He wolfed down the snack in two more bites, his mouth barely chewing to swallow his treat just in time to let him speak. "Mm...Just my luck to watch a natural beauty eating fresh baked bread. There's quite a bit of a poetic image you have going Leigh."

Scott, in hunger, created ice utensils from the water in his blade. He was hungry, not a heathen. He ate his servings qucikly. When he ate enough to be able to slow down, he nibbled on fruits. He sat back to rest and soon fell asleep.
((Not calling anyone a heathen...promise...))

"Hm?" Leigh Ann hummed around a mouthful of bread.

Rand chuckled softly before he repeated his earlier compliment, this time waiting until she heard him entirely to eat once again. "I said, 'Mm...Just my luck to watch a natural beauty eating fresh baked bread. There's quite a bit of a poetic image you have going Leigh.' And I'll add onto that as you're a woman of my own heart with a good appetite." He flashed a charming smile her way then dug into his second serving with relish, now grabbing some choice cuts of ham with his bread topped with slices of lettuce and carrots.

Avani raised an eyebrow quizzically. "How would you reinvent that? I don't think I quite understand what you're getting at."

Shechina finished her orange and filled a plate, mostly with fruit and vegetables, but with a small amount of bread and meat as well. She'd found that, though a meal that balanced all food groups was good for the body, fruits and vegetables helped her control and focus her powers better.

"Oh, thank you," Leigh Ann said with a smile before taking a little more food. "I do have a big appetite. My father said it's because I'm an Earth mage. It takes a lot of energy to move something that stubborn. I imagine it takes a great deal of energy to control fire though. I can't imagine being responsible for that kind of power."
Leigh Ann then suddenly blushed, "Not- not saying that I don't think being a fire mage is as good as being an Earth mage... or- or that I don't think I could do it, jus-just making an observation."

Rand laughed softly at Leigh-Ann's reaction, already aware that she was too kind to even imply that his magic was inferior to her own. "It's quite already Leigh. I honestly know firsthand your Magic is strong. I like it. And I like the strong woman who can handle it." He punctuated his last statement with a direct look at her hands, winking for good measure to get his intent across. "Care to tell me more about your family? They sound fascinating."
The Fire Mage also turned to examine Shechina's health mix of all the food groups, wondering how she was so efficient at plucking them together. "Nice play Shechina. Does your diet stem from your Magic as well? I ask because I've always been ravenous...But I'm starting to suspect being the Guardian of Fire means burning off a lot of fuel to do what little I can do at the moment."

Shechina looked up from her plate, blinking. Her cheeks turned a light shade of pink. "I hadn't thought anybody would be paying much attention to what I ate," she muttered. "Yes, it does. Lighter foods like fruits and vegetables help me focus my magic."

A small smile of delight rose to the Fire Guardian's lips as he had managed to see a side of the more pensive and reflective Spirit Guardian. "Ahhhh...But I always notice what you do," he replied with a laugh. "So you prefer the bounty of the earth like Leigh. Does that mean if you eat heavier or darker foods such as solely meat and starches your powers would not operate at full capacity? For me, that can easily happen if I don't have enough to eat at all or if I drink an excessive amount of liquid."

“The trees that whisper in the evening... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...”The Huntress had pulled her mask down to eat, but her hair was now obscuring her face as she hunches slightly over her food in an almost protective manor. It was habit to do this rather than suspecting the Guardians to steal her food. "Different foods effect different magics differently. As for your current role with the kingdoms, you must keep them from tearing each other apart.", she says after she finishes off the little food she had taken, "I am not entirely sure how noticeable it is for humans, but something has the kings slowly heading towards war and it is causing an imbalance similar to the last war." “Sing a song of sorrow and grieving... Carried away by a moonlight shadow...” -'Moonlight Sadow', Mike Oldfield
