[Migrated] Pokemon - Soaring Legends

Shiro winced, knowing he had to get black Blaze rested soon, but that made him have an idea, as he grinned a bit "Black Blaze, Protect, then use Rest!" he called out, causing Black Blaze to blink in mild confusion before nodding "if you say so daddy..." he said, unsure of this particular switch from offense to defense, but Black Blaze put up the Minty Green barrier that nullifies attacks just as Megahorn was initiated, to avoid getting hurt this time, and then black blaze sighed a bit, falling forward to cutely curl up and sleep, looking much healthier while it slept and even the aura of poison seeming to go away as well.

Nightblade chuckled, seeing this particular tactic "oh dear... if i remember right he used this tactic against Faulkner. if i know what's next Bugsy better pray that the followup to rest doesn't instant KO his pokemon." he sid while moving a bit to get sitting more straight up to watch.

Shiro had closed an eye while slowly starting to bop his head to the music, using it to keep his calm and focus, apparently looking neutral in seeing Black Blaze take that kind of a beating, but he had fully expected it and he smirked lightly to himself mentally before reaching back to his pack, and fiddling around in one of the bigger pouches, before pulling out a Super Potion just as Black Blaze woke up from the barrage of attacks, sent flying close enough to Shiro that the charmander landed on his feet, just as Shiro showed he was going to heal his pokemon via strategic item use! "here, Black Blaze... let's heal you up fast before continuing, okay?" he said, the Shiny Black Blaze nodded with a giggle, and while flinching despite the potion, before the flame grew back to full size, apparently ready to continue as he stepped back "alright Black Blaze, let's show them a bit more of our combo move tactics... Fire Punch Heracross into the air, and follow up with Aerial Ace!" he called out,the Shiny Charmander actually grinning a bit at this one "you got it daddy!" Black Blaze called out before zipping in with claw enflamed once more, and instead of a haymaker hit, it went underneath Heracross's range, and aimed the Fire Punch in an uppercut style to send the bug pokemon into the air, and once in the air, Black blaze literally glowed, before launching up into the air after the bug to unleash a devastating claw and talon strike combo, that ended, oddly enough with a finishing move of it's own in flipping around, and using Iron Tail to send Heracross back towards the ground.

Nightblade chuckled a bit, seeing those moves and just shook his head "looks like i was right in thinking that your kid's gonna grow up as scary as you are in battle, if what we're seeing right now is any indication." he said looking to the charizard in amusement.

Shiro just raised an eyebrow as his eyes focused on the incoming Reversal, giving off a click of his tongue in a 'tch' maneuver he proceeded to call out "Black Blaze, Substitute!" the Shiny charmander looked back briefly before glowing a bit in a blue color, and then 'Poof!' a small poof of smoke would appear in front of the charmander creating a small crudely made doll similar to Charmander's stats, to take a brunt of the damage from the incoming attack, sure, it costed him a good chunk of stamina, but it proved to keep Heracross from knocking Black Blaze out "Black Blaze, end this with Ember!" Shiro called out, while the panting charmander on Heracross's left nodded, before rearing it's head back, and then breathing out a small flame stream right for Heracross's face.

Shiro looked calm as he continued bopping his head to the music when seeing the scyther go after black blaze, though he frowned in general "Black Blaze, Double Team and dodge that Slash, then use the momentum to have you and your doubles use Flame Charge!" Black blaze nodded, getting the hint as Charmander began to glow, and then split into multiple copies, while having moved to dodge, letting one of the doubles take the attack and dissapate harmlessly, like an after-image of sorts. the others however began getting wreathed in flames, and began quickly charging Scyther with quickly increasing speed. "Feel the burn!" the Charmander(s) shouted as they charged forth aiming to hurt the Scyther quickly.

Black blaze was blasted back from the swift attack, his Double Team images dispersed from the counter, as he was on his belly, but trying to get up regardless as the charmander gritted his teeth "no... this... isn't... over.. yet...!!!" of course Shiro was looking a bit concerned, not for the match, given he showed not one ounce of care about it, but for black Blaze's health "Black Blaze..." he whispered, causing the Charmander to freeze a moment before looking to his 'daddy' and seeing the worry, made the fiery determination burst even higher "for daddy's sake... i will win!!!!" he cried out, just as the glowing white sheen enveloped him, pulling something that doesn't usually happen to Shiro often as he went wide-eyed while the charmander grew, almost a foot if not two, arms becoming longer, legs becoming stronger looking, tail longer, tail-flame brighter and the head changing as well, the glow dimming, revealing a golden colored Charmeleon as he roared out "for father!"

Shiro just went wide-eyed "Black Blaze..." he mumbled, before smiling, as he nodded, getting the determined look again as the music blared loudly into his ear once again "alright Black Blaze, Flamethrower, and send an Air Cutter along into the flames!" this got the Charmeleon to nod, and reared back ,before unleashing a gout of flames at Scyther, before bringing a turning green and white claw from the ground upwards, creating a wind blade which shot into the flames, fanning them to an even higher temperature, increasing their speed, as well as infusing the Air cutter itself with fire energy a bit.

Shiro had watched the incoming X-scissors from all directions on Black Blaze, and clicked his tongue as he called out to the newly evolved Charmeleon "Black Blaze, Endure and grab onto Scyther, then go full power, Overheat!" of coruse Charmeleon gave a quick thumbs up before Black Blaze settled into a defensive stance, and a red sheen of energy starting to glow. after fully taking the hit of the X-Scissors, which hurt like hell, in Black Blaze's opinion, the charmeleon proceeded to quickly lash out and snatch at Scyther's Throat directly while letting out a growl "this battle's over... you're Finished!" with that, the mouth opened wide, and the huge torrent of flames would gush out to pull off an all-too-familiar way of crispifying someone's face cartoon style, hopefully.

Nightblade sweatdropped, and facepawed at that "well, could be worse i guess, he could've tried using Overheat from the beginning and be in even worse shape..." he muttered while looking quickly back to the fight to see if it was over.

Shiro had taken the Hive badge when it was offered to him, and smiled" thanks, bugsy... it was a great battle, especially when Heracross came into play." he said while pulling out his new badge case, and setting the Hive badge next to the Zephyr Badge. as Shiro was putting it away Black Blaze had tiredly walked over to him and they both shared a 'high five' (high for Charmeleon at least), before the Flame Pokemon had moved to settle into Shiro's arms, tired, and pretty much wanting rest, which Shiro had nodded to with a chuckle "that we are, and i think i'm knackered myself." he said with amusement, while praising black Blaze in a whisper to the pokemon before recalling the Charmeleon and slowly standing back up with a stretch and creaking of his back "aaaah~.. much better.

Nightblade nodded lightly "that Heracross was a beast, i'll have to admit. Shiro-sama did well regardless, as did Black Blaze, for winning the Gym Badge himself." he said while moving next to shiro to nuzzle his legs "let's go get some rest, ne Shiro? you probably need it after last night from what you mentioned on the bad dreams."

Shiro winced, but nodded, sighing "yeah, it'll do no good traveling if i fall asleep mid-flight or something."

Shiro just nodded to the conversation, keeping to himself while letting his hand move down to pet along Nightblade's back, just keeping himself moving along to the Pokemon Center so that everyone could get their pokemon rested, well, Shiro and bugsy at least, he himself probably needed more rest, though he was a bit tense in general due to not really wanting to return to sleep-villeso once they got into the center Shiro had given his pokemon to Nurse Joy to allow then to get some rest and heal, while quickly making tracks (with Nightblade following to keep his trainer in check!) to the cafeteria to get some food, staving off going back to bed as long as he possibly can.
