"Round 1 Start! Xros up Arresterdramon (Dobermon)!" Tagiru shouted. Hideaki sighed.
"Didn't we spend all afternoon practicing that Double Xros motion?"
Blaze frowned, "I'll handle these two, but you'll need more than that to fight Crystal! ArrestDobermon, Sealsdramon, Reppamon: DigiXros! ArrestDobermon Speed Mode!"
"Gweh heh heh heh! Viking Vuffet! We'll need more to face these foes!"
"Olegmon, Tankdramon, Commandramonz: DigiXros! Commander Olegmon Tread Mode!" Olegmon's legs became tank treads while his axes became capable of firing a dozen shots per second while spinning through the air.
Had it been anything but digizoid (and gold at that), Olegmon's new treads would have torn up the ground. As it was, he was dashing around far more nimbly than his bulk should allow; instantly flipping around from forward to backwards all while still traveling in the same direction, and ground or walls seemed to make difference to his treads.
All the while, Olegmon and Blaze cackled madly in perfect unison.
ArrestDobermon was fast but lacked ranged techniques to handle Crystal's assault from the skies. However, Tagiru saw the problem differently. "If those hits wouldn't knock us away, we could land a hit... Xros up Metal Tyrannomon!" All that newly added bulk slowed ArrestDobermon by more a little; even with the added Nuclear Laser and Giga Destroyer II ranged attacks, the outlook was bleak.

"Sparrowmon!"
"All Fan Beemonz! Black Sparrowmon!"
"Digi Xros!" Crystal, Nene, and Akari were totally in sync when they unleashed the deadly combination they had come up with to combat Blaze, Tagiru, and Hideaki. Dorulumon became outfitted into a bipedal form similar to his form as Were Dorulumon when combined with Grappleomon, but without the abundance of gravity altering turbines and instead adorned with Tiger Vespamon's yellow and black stripes armor. In this instance he was equipped with a cannon on each arm from each of the Sparrowmon variants, the two sets of jet boosters were arranged in an insect-like x-pattern resembling the wings of a dragonfly, and Tiger Vespamon's twin swords, Royal Meister, were retractable, extending out from his feet functioning as additional energy projectile launchers. "Jet Vespa Dorulumon"
The two sets of jet boosters provided slightly varied ranges of acceleration related to the slightly lessened speed of Black Sparrowmon as compared to the regular Sparrowmon, giving Jet Vespa Dorulumon very different rates of acceleration depending on which set was being used or if he was using both at the same time. It was no wonder that Blaze, Tagiru, and Hideaki's team was having such a difficult time actually landing a hit on them. Seeing an opening when Tagiru added his Metal Tyranomon component to the team's Digi Xros, Jet Vespa Dorulumon began spinning rapidly in place producing a huge vortex of energy lasers, drill missiles, more energy lasers, and finally a homing gravity well to guide them all down toward Metal Arrest Dobermon Speed Reduction Mode without any sign of mercy. "Mach Random Gravity Tornado!"
No doubt, this was going to put Tagiru and Hideaki well out of the running as only Commander Olegmon Tread Mode would be left to worry about.
