"Focus your chakra into your patient" Kohane said as she stood overlooking several of the new medical nin in training. "If it's a small wound try to lessen your chakra flow. Spend less chakra on each healing as you work" Kohane said as infront of the children several hurt birds lay waiting to be healed. There wounds were only superficial but it was a good thing to start working on till Kohane felt they could move to something larger.

After about an hour of this Kohane had left the training area her usual break having started now. As was the case she oversaw all aspects of the medical community within the village. She was briefed by the Hokage himself and in turn briefed him on what she saw come thru. Exhaling slightly she shook her head. How at times she wished to go back to her days of youth simply going on missions and training with the others. Tayu, Kikou, Zane, Nowe and Kiri flowed thru her mind in turn as she stopped for a moment. The last face that filled her head was one that had almost caused her to stop being a medical nin. "Kiri" she muttered looking towards the stone where fallen ninja's names were etched. Should she leave flowers today she wondered as she stood there.

The boomerangs and net caught Kita and Tayu, but an instant later, there was a puff of smoke, and all that was really caught in the wire mesh was a log.

"Kai? You all right?" Shizuka asked, realizing something was up.

Lifting his hands to his face as he leaned forwards more Kai suddenly shot up his back arching as he screamed. The sand around his whipped around violently as he suddenly compressed around him. The sand still not now compact to his body formed an orb a few feet around him as the screaming started to die off. The air around now still as the orb of sand simply floated where it was.

After a few minutes of this the orb began to crack and chip away. As the last of it fell off Kai stood there again the sand that had engulfed him gone now and his gourd returned to his back. His face was hidden as he was leaned forwards the hood of his hoodie covering most of it but his his nose and mouth. His eyes hidden beneath it's shadow as the sand orb finished cracking away and falling towards the ground.

"Kai?" Shizuka was starting to get worried. She hadn't hurt him, had she? No, she would have felt it if she had, right? "Kai, answer me."

Exhaling loudly Kai lifted his head towards her as he thrusted his hand out at her suddenly the sand combining and a large hand shooting out quickly wrapping around her as Kai looked at her. "This damn limiter" he said simply as he lifted his free hand up to his face and rubbed his eye as he stood there the sand slowly starting to fall away from her. "Once again I can't get rid of it" he muttered as the sand flowed thru the air back to him. As it returned to his gourd the sand cloud he was on fell apart as he fell landing on the ground with a light thud.

Nimbus lunged out from his hiding spot and flew at Zane with a flying kick at surprising speed. "Dynamic Entry!" How the jutsu-less ninja managed to perform this taijutsu was beyond even him.

Zane was surprised by the kick out of nowhere, even more so because Nimbus seemed to be moving quicker. Something's changed. Zane thought as he whirled around to block Nimbus's attack. The force was surprising enough too, for a ninja of Nimbus's level and ability. Where's Shu? Zane thought while skidding back.

Nimbus chuckled and hopped from foot to foot. He did a quick turn and spun to Zane's side, attempting to step on his foot and going for a jab to his ribs. His aim was to knock him off balance and lock him between his attacks and a nearby tree. He seemed perfectly balanced, like he knew ever place to step and saw every opening.

Despite the fact he wasnt even looking at Zane. He was yawning and trying to keep his eyes open.

Shizuka was taken by surprise by Kai's sudden attack. She had let her guard down at the worst possible time to make sure her cousin was okay, and he'd attacked her. She gasped, but wasn't able to take in much air as the sand tightened around her. Then she was released and dropped to land in a crouch on the hard ground, trying to get her breath back. Once she had, she ran to Kai and grabbed his shoulders. "Kai, what the hell was that about? Are you all right?" she demanded, worried more for him than she had been for her own life only a moment ago, and not just because he was the Shukaku's jinchuriki.
