Maple let out a very audible squeak when Andrew psychically dragged her by the hand. And yes, of course, her cheeks were stained with pink. At least this didn't seem to have all those romantic implications that she had dreaded he had implied from his text message, just a means to escape for reasons unknown to her. Otherwise, she didn't say a word.

Until she realized that something wasn't in her hand like it should have been, even as tightly as she had been holding onto it. Maple's eyes went wide, "m-my c-coin!" Her sign of achievement! She had earned something, she didn't dare to lose such an item that helped make her feel a little worthwhile. (Well, now that she thought about it. Of course she would drop it, if it wasn't one thing, it was another). Wiggling her hand out of the boil's grip, Maple turned herself around to go retrieve which had been lost from the forge.

“It’s just a jacking coin.” He stared at the forge waiting impatiently as she got it and giving the man an uneasy look. Escape! Please.

As soon as Maple was done, he lead her elsewhere, to candles. Maybe this could be more his speed. He liked wax after all.

The blond ghoul-in-human's-clothing couldn't help but reach for Serafina's face. The reaper may or may not have thought the brightly colored mask was a part of the dark-haired ghoul's actual complexion so the sight of real lips was surprising. Even more tempting to test if they were real or merely an illusion...

But then Brenley's helmet merited more attention and Ruth couldn't help but cap in delight. She gave the boil two thumbs up in approval in between pointing to said helmet before waiting for their response to her earlier suggestion of checking out where the bright colors were coming from.

With both her companions going along for the ride, Ruth sorely wished the ground was skate-friendly and that the cloak and pins had given her a pair of wheels. She missed the sensation of gliding even more so when she had someone (or two) in tow. And for making these stained glasses, well, truthfully Ruth was more likely to screw things up (even for other people, hell especially for other people) because of all the pretty shades of red it made on certain individual's faces.

But for now, given that she was with "authority" and her first foray into the human world should never be her last, she'd give this whole thing a go. And try to minimize the incidents. Haphazardly, she copied what the other humans present were doing, unknowingly copying off of a talented one and ending up with a presentable finished product and earning herself another gold coin.

Huh.

Ruth didn't know what to make of it, really. Not to mention she didn't really know what to do with her six gold coins, and lifting her pouch, she jingled it towards her companions as if to ask what should they do next. Or if they wanted some. It was open for interpretation. That is, until she spied a peddler catching the stink eye from some of the human attendees. Ooooh,oh oh oh! She wanted in on somma that! Waving towards the peddler, the reaper raised three fingers while holding out the coins as payment.

Needless to say, Serafina was a little alarmed when Ruth started to reach towards her face as well. She began to panic a bit, eyes widening as she attempted to think of a way to detract her attention from her lips, but she was rather ... thankful that Brenley distracted to something totally different.

Good. She didn't have to ... explain that.

Or find out if this was just some kind of human skin illusion. Was there a way to find out? Maybe she could poke her face on the side a bit closer and see if her finger went in-- no! No no no--

Serafina, herself, wished she could levitate around, or even blink from place to place. The quick transport was something that she was beginning to prefer, but here on the human world, she could do none of that, which was a bit of a bummer to say the least. It would have certainly allowed her to get through these human crowds a bit faster. At the same time, though, this allowed her to keep together with the rest of the people she was traveling with, keeping her hands on them as they headed over to the stained glass. There was value to walking slower, too, able to let her eyes wander over the environment and then on the stained glass station in front of them.

They could try to make some? Serafina loved pretty things, and these were of no exception, so she decided to take a whack at it. Unfortunately, unlike Ruth, she didn't manage to make anything pretty, but at least she didn't manage to utterly mangle the thing. She would keep it, though it wasn't particularly good. It was ... abstract. She could make up an interesting story about it.

"I tried," she said, with a laugh, glancing at the other two. Hers was pretty, at least, now that she looked at it a bit closer. She liked the multitude of colors it was catching underneath the sunlight. Maybe she could stick it under one of her lamps in her room...

What was Ruth doing? Blues darted over to the woman who was eagerly waving her arm over at what looked to be a ... shopkeep? What was he holding? Curious, she looked over to Ruth, waiting to see what the other girl was getting three of.

Andrew hadn't followed her, which was probably a good thing given his comment. It was just a coin, but it had some meaning behind it for her; that she actually did something decently and losing it would make the trip just miserable. It would be a good thing if she found it, for him and everyone that came in contact with them.

After a few minutes of searching the ground for anything silver, Maple located her lost coin tucked close to one of the wooden pillars. Nice and safe and out of the way, where no one would have taken it (hopefully). The little witch held it close with a grateful smile and then made her way out again where Andrew was nicely waiting for her. Where he lead her along someplace else.

Candle making. She knew of this - she knew of that smell too, it was an old tradition in her household that wasn't followed that much because of other producers of light now. But it had its uses for rituals and spells, not that she was particularly good at them.

And just like at the forge, there was a kind smile offering to let her try to practice - that smile just didn't belong to a very well chiseled body. Maple wasn't sure what to make of this human, and why they kept offering everyone who was nearby the chance to work with such dangerous items (wax was really hot after all, she kind of knew from experience). But, she had to blend in and she gave one worried glance to Andrew before she attempted to do what so many witches before her were able to do so well.

With careful and nervous hands, Maple dunked in the long wick a few times to make her candle. Each time, a thin layer covering the last and deepening the building wax to a solid deep and piercing black. A true candle fit for Halloween.

"Very nice!" She heard someone say beside her, nearly startling the poor witch and almost making her drop her work into the big vat of wax.

"Aa," she stammered, holding the long end of the string in a vice as she was handed another coin with a smile. This time gold with a flame imprinted upon it.

Amphi jumped as the witch came over, looking her up and down. She was much different then the Bella she knew and well...she much favored the witches Halloween look.

She hesitated, wanting to tell Bella that yes her eyes were pink but..."No um...They are...really blue." Much darker than her own eyes even. Where Amphi's were a neon blue, like the clear oceans....Bella's right now looked like flowery blue.

She fidgetted in the corset and then nodded.

"Do...Do you mind? I don't know how humans wear this...it feels like I can't breathe?" Good thing she didn't need human air!

Etzer had stepped in and was overwhelmed with all the sights and sounds, and drew his cloak over his shoulder as he stepped over to the booth with a bow and arrow. Hey, those looked cool! They almost looked like that one weapon in that one CYOA book he had.

He took a moment to admire himself - because his outfit was pretty cool. Etzer wasn't going to lie to himself. He didn't know who he was, but he had robes and they were stylish. And he had a whip to boot.

He thought for a moment, refusing to acknowledge that the colors were those of the Red Kingdom in his dreams. Or that his weapon was the same...

"Hey, Molan-" He started, glancing up to notice that his brother was gone. Oh well. No supervision? No problem! He picked one up and attempted to use it.

The Ren Faire was amazing. Marosa was slightly awed by the fact that the clothing here somewhat resembled what he wore at home, and he idly wondered how far off the chart the humans were.

His disguise consisted of a brown halter top with a matching skirt (which he didn't mind due to wearing a kilt most of the time anyway), and a laurel of leaves that adorned his hair. He apparently had pointed ears as well, which made him look more... feminine.

The faerie found he didn't quite mind. He did see ponies, and tilted his head at them curiously, wandering over to them to check them out. How interesting, that these were able to be ridden...?

While Maple was worrying about how hot the wax was, Andrew had no fear of the heat. Like her he had a little experience with wax, unusually in sculpting. But candle dipping was something he had done before. He settled down with the other humans, acting as if this were a Halloween Fair as much as a human one. It wasn’t that different from home. He dipped the candle making a neat black one, without any scent, not that he wanted any. The coin he got for his average work was a bit of a surprise. “Huh.” he turned it over in his hands. “Do you think we’ll be able to keep these? Probably not… I’ll take a picture when we get back. It’s a pity, I really like this coin.” Gold and flames, both things he really liked. He glanced at Maple’s candle as he waited for his to dry. “You look like you’ve done this before too.”

It was a good thing that Etzer wasn't a reaper, because he was terrible at holding the bow. He wasn't even holding the thing the right way.

Dejected, he left the booth and went to look for his brother, deciding not to go to that particular booth again, feeling much like a child for touching weapons when he shouldn't have.

Being careful so as to not spook the creature, Marosa slid on with ease as he gently glided the pony around a few turns, reaching up to run his fingers through its mane. It was passive, and just riding the thing gave him a sense of peace, bringing a smile to the faerie's face.

The pony seemed to like him, and he gave it a gentle pat to its neck before leaving the booth, a silver token in hand for apparent good riding.

Humans were strange, but he admired the coin curiously, turning the coin this way and that to see what different ways the horseshoe could face, not paying attention to where he was going.
