~Her Story~
Pene was the first winged Usdia to appear in the Kawani lands. She traveled from her home, to go explore new places. Intrigued by all the mass population of Soquili in the are, she decided to make it her home. One of her first interests, was delivering messages or small packages to others in the area. It gave her a chance to learn her surroundings, and meet new Soquili. She soon became a sort of carrier pigeon. Except for the flying part. Flying? No, she can't fly! She can hover, like a chicken. Her parents couldn't fly either. She likely could, but was never taught how.
Travels around the area, caused her to meet dangers her parents never told her about! A brave angeni knight, named Pollux came to her rescue. He fought off a beast that sought to harm her. Still during the battle, Pene became injured. Pollux tracked down a healer, coming across one named Precious Hope. Precious had been studying hard to be the best healer she could, and was able to help Pene on her road to recovery. During that time, Pollux stuck to their side, making a vow to protect them both.
The three became traveling companions. The healer, the knight, and the flightless bird. During their time together, Precious began to have feelings for Pollux. Pollux? Well he had feelings for Penedesenca! To him, she was like a soft angel. Pollux hid his feelings though, realizing that his duty to protect the two ladies, came before his heart.
The odd trio ran into another winged mini one day, named Zhi Lan Xiang. To Pene's delight, Zhi shared her passion for delivering messages to Soquili across the land. Pene found her new home! She was invited to live in a roost with her new friend. The two would work together to train hawks to aid them in their new job. He even agreed to help her learn to fly!
With Pene in her new found home, the healer, the knight, and the bird parted ways. A sad day, in which hidden love got pushed further into the hearts of those that had it. However, a bright new chapter, for Pene and Zhi to fall for one another. A romance that could be, instead of one that was denied. The two birds, and their new nest.
