True Blood After Midnight {Let's Pick Up Where We Left Off}

He glanced at the newcomer briefly before looking at Hetukiri again. He watched her for what seemed like a long while before raising a hand slowly to brush back a stray lock of hair behind one ear.

"Such a little young thing to be asking such questions."

He took a step back seemingly getting taller.

"Perhaps one day you will know, and survive."  

[hetukiri]

*Hetu didnt know if she should be upset by his comment or flattered.But as a rebuttal to his comment she just stared at him Blankly for a few minutes and said in a dead tone* "Perhaps!!" *but then came to her senses and laughed the hold thing off.Changing the subject once again she looked toward the staff room hall way and asked*

"Would you like for me to show you to your room.After all you will be here for quite a while" *She wondered to herself, how in the world she would be able focus on her duties around the bar with a Man like this being here around her, for only god knows how long.Removing the thoughts from her head, she started towards the hall way to show the guest to his room*

"Yes perhaps I should view my quarters now." One of his hands flexed the bone popping dryly, he covered the movement by tugging at the bottom of his shirt pulling out the loose wrinkles of the silk fabric.

He glanced to the other two.. witnesses in the room.

Then he looked to the hall she looked towards. "After you."
He motioned with one hand.  

[Nhikxter]

In the depths of Kurai's shadow emerges a figure with silver hair and a straight look in his eye. His image was blurry at the moment but it was clear that the person was trying to speak to the demon incarnate. A few moments later, the message was starting to be audible, and the man now visible. It was Nick, with one hand reached out for Kurai's.

"Come."

Nick said it over and over again in a faint and echoing voice.

"Come."

Suddenly, a vision appeared for a moment infront of Kurai. It was an old, well-designed mansion shrouded by fogs and bathed in moonlight.



Nick's message was clear. Castle Neteru awaits.

Catherine got back to bar as she entered the Bartender area and waved hand to Flo and Hetukiri "Hi Flo..." Catherine told a word only for Flo. Not for Hetu or anyone else. "I feel like going out" Catherine told to Flo with a little sad either angry look.

Announcement

~ Evening loves, I would just like to inform everyone that under no circumstances are you to try and role play at The Castle of Neteru. It is off limits. If you are having troubles with the story line here in Half Moon, please kindly wait until we are ready to move the story along back towards the castle. Trust and believe that we shall be returning there shortly but until that time you are to either role play in the bar or simply wait until we have reach the point of the castle. I repeat, Castle Rp'ing is off limits, anyone found breaking this simple rule will be warned, then if they persists, their character will be killed off swiftly and without mercy. You dears have a great day.

*She stared at his shirt as each and every fabric caressed his body not too tightly but just right as if the shirt was custom made for him and his body only.Her eyes lingered there for a moment longer, before she came back to her senses and nodded to thank him for his courtesy, as she walked pass him entering the hall*

*About five doors down the hall she stopped at a door that was marked Vacant. Turning her head towards him as he approached, she gave him an apologetic look and said*
"Sorry, this is the best we could accommodate you with at this time, you have a window, a bed, A small desk, and the bathroom is a few more feet down the hall and to the left. If you have any other questions feel free to ask me or any of the other employees working here!!" *she handed him the key and then waited for him to open the door to his new room*

Korbin followed her closely, pausing just before she turned to give the illusion of space. He nodded listening to her explanation of facilities he nolonger required. He smiled politely taking the key and opening the door.

Taking a step in he turned his hand on the door frame. "I will search you out if I require anything Hetukiri." He said the name as if releasing her from a spell.

Leaving the key in the lock he continued into the room to look it over.

*Hetu didnt care much for actually taking on responsibility of watching after and caring for the people within the bar when they already did so for themselves and their friends,So her eyes widened a bit as he said he'd search her out for anything else he would require.* *Now standing in the entrance of his room, hetu leaned herself against its wall carelessly as she watched him become acquainted with his living quarter*

"Well...since everything is fine here, ill let you settle in? *She turned and headed back towards the bar*

He did not look up when she left. Instead he turned the to bed, noting the fine layer of dust and the slight smell of mildew. His attention then drawn to the window he noted a tree outside promised to block direct sunlight, He did like to sleep in.

Leaning against the desk he began to formulate his plan.

Kurai heard him.

The voice was unmistakable, sharp as a newly bladed dagger. She could feel him, and when she opened her eyes, she saw... his hand, outstretched towards her, beckoning her towards a magnificent looking castle...

Still unable to speak, Kurai reached out for his hand, wanting so much to take it... But when she was an inch away, it felt like she was burned. It was more painful than anything else so far.

I can't, she shook her head. I can't.

The tears were running freely now, though she could neither see nor feel them.

If she could face just a bit more pain... it might all be worth it in the end.

Nick's image blurred dangerously.

Don't! Kurai begged. She wanted to be selfish. She wanted him to... Stay. I don't want to be alone.

She looked once more at that fading face, gazing at her, the hand still extended, as if saying "You don't have to be."

And she found herself mouthing, "...I believe you."

Kurai flung out her arm and bit back a scream as the barrier tried to prevent her from reaching him. After what seemed like forever, she felt warmth at her fingertips and whatever was between them shattered. A hand tightened around hers, and Kurai was swept away in a flash of blinding light.

*Diyske lifted his head from the table and stared at Alice*

"Whats there to be confused about?"

In a flash of light and a gasp of air, Nick awoke a good 3miles away from Half Moon. He was still in New Orleans, but atleast outside the confines of that prison. He found himself in a dirty old alley on top of a pile of folded cardboard boxes. His clothes were a bit torn up and he still had a few open wounds but otherwise he was fine. On the corner of his eye, however, was a young woman with long black hair and pale skin. She was unconscious right beside him. After a careful inspection, Nick realized that he had unconsciously pulled out another person who wanted to be free. "Kurai.."

A moment later, 4 hooded men came to the alley. They stood by Kurai's body with a smirk on their faces. "Man it doesnt get easier than this. Take her clothes off boys, I'm going first." Before one of the thugs could lay his hand on Kurai, Nick stood up and glared at them. "Don't.."

One of the men zipped his pants again. "What the f*ck did you say kid? You tellin' me what to do?"

"Don't.." Nick said once more.

"Man, shut this f*cker up!" Ordered one of the thugs as the rest pulled out pistols, shotguns and baseball bats. The one closest to Nick swung his bat hard, hitting Nick straight in the head. His bat snapped in half. "You like that b*tch?!"

Nick's forehead was clearly bleeding, but he didn't move an inch. A moment later, Nick glared at him and took one of the broken pieces of wood and shoved it down his throat.

"Jesus Christ!" One of the thugs panicked after seeing his friend gush out blood from his mouth. He quickly pulled the trigger of his shotgun at Nick, but through his panic, he couldn't aim. Nick slowly walked towards him, flipped his shotgun to aim at himself and pulled the trigger.

"Don't.." Nick said again.

The 2 remaining thugs stepped away from Kurai. "Y-you're a freak!" With that, they ran away.

Nick went closer to Kurai but suddenly lost his balance. The blow to his head was taking it's toll. He hasn't recovered fully yet so he took that blow like a human. He fell to the ground but sat beside Kurai with a bleeding head. He stared at the night sky as he waited for her to regain consciousness.

Alice stared at him a moment as she revered the 'rougher' look of herself
"are you saying you prefectly understand everything that's going on right now? This place just gets wierder and wierder!"

The first thing Kurai felt was the cold. Shivering a little, she wrapped her arms around herself and--

Wait a second...

She could feel herself. Her skin was clammy under her own touch, but it was there again; solid as ever. Focusing a bit more, she heard steady breathing coming from her right; and then she smelled the strong, rusty scent that could only be blood.

But whose...?

Kurai opened her eyes, and it took a few seconds to adjust to the darkness. It wasn't Half Moon anymore, that's for sure. She wondered where she was before she remembered what had just happened and who had brought her here.

Then that means--

Feeling around in the dark, Kurai's breath hitched a little when her fingers made contact with the same warm hand that had brought her to where she was now.

"...Nick?"
