Crazy test huh?, I wonder what kind of person our sensei is. More questions popped into his head as Miroku seemed to really consider training before meeting the sensei. Kisuke didn't really mind the senju in the academy since he didn't really have any business with her. "Alright then, I'll do some training." Kisuke went to a spot where he couldn't disturb anyone. He closed his eyes focusing his chakra so that he could start training.
Kisuke attaches a translucent string to two of his shurken, He sets his eyes on a snake crawling on a tree branch. Kisuke closes his eyes and simultaneously opens them as he releases his shuriken controlling it so that it would hit the snake, only one hits. [Learned: Sōshuriken no Jutsu [1/2]
Kisuke repeats his process and focuses once more, this time releasing the shuriken at a completely ridiculous angle that had almost no chance of hitting the snake. Thanks to his Uchiha Blood he was able to learn the technique faster and glided the shuriken to the target almost effortlessly

Kisuke sits down taking a breather, a few minutes pass and he's ready to go again. This time he wants to learn how to incorporate this technique along with a kunai. Kisuke places a translucent string onto his shuriken. His target this time is just a dummy near a tree. He tosses his shuriken slightly above his target then throws a kunai with just a split second delay. The kunai acted as the main attack even though it was the "fake". Using the tree as the axis his shuriken was pulled back and it just landed 2 inches beside the dummy's head.

Kisuke is determined this time that he could do it. He goes back through the process and this time the shuriken landed spot on to the dummy.

After finally completing his basic training he decided to move on to his forte, Genjutsu.
Kisuke got a scroll from the academy to learn the new jutsu. Kisuke read the pre-requisites of the Genjutsu and how it affects both the User and the person casted upon.

Ryoku laughed some to himself as it seemed as though he had no choice but to admitt who he was. Shame he might have had a bit of fun had everyone not picked him out of the people in the area because of his features. Shaking his head as he looked at the younger girl that was now obviously part of his squad. Looking her over before he spoke he almost saw Kira in her. Same body type, hight and even hair color.
Gripping his eyes some as if he was trying to get something out of them, looking back at Kazumi the image of Kira faded from her. It might have been his mind trying to help him cope with her passing. Or maybe he still just wished more for her before she went. Ether way he had to do his job for this girl, so she would not suffer the same fate. "Yes I'm your Sensei. Although I appreciate you asking. Everyone else just simply knows who I am and what clan I belong to by some extremely defining traits." Scoffed some at the sound of how apparently all Nara's are that obvious. Noticing her same hair color. "After all, you look like a Nara, Perhaps you are one too?" Shaking his head with a smirk as he finished. He knew for a fact she was not but just to add to his point. People were getting overly stereotypical.
Standing up he dusted his pants off some as he then extended his arm in a greeting. "Your the first student to make it here. I would have us begin but It might be best to wait for at least another to arrive. I have a good technique to speed training up for the team."

Kazumi snorted at his comments about looks, and defining features. She shook her head and took the offered arm, "I've done quite a bit of training already, but it was all solo, so I'm more than willing to work together with the others of our team once they get here."
Kazumi wondered what he knew of her past, and how he would react to that knowledge. Sure, he was a Nara, but not everyone is the same, despite the similarities amongst clan members. Kazumi felt her heart thud hard against her ribs at the thought of clan members, and how she hadn't been very good to her sister by leaving her. She flinched slightly at the thought that ran through her mind. She was seriously regretting some life choices, but she couldn't let that affect her now, not now that she was officially beginning her life as a proper shinobi of the Leaf.

Smiling some at the sound of hearing she already has some training. He took comfort in knowing that hes not training genin right out of the academy doors. Although he was extremely curious as to what she knows. Not even being totally aware of her bloodline, if she possessed one. Pulling his whip from his belt as he took a few steps back. "Well, its time you put that training to use. Hit me with anything you can that can cause bodily harm. Hit me once, even slightly and you pass." Ryoku stood ready eager to see what she was capable of but also on guard in case she was a natural.

Kazumi blinked, but instantly backed up several steps and drew one of her fans. She focused her chakra into the fan and waved it, this caused a massive whirlwind to fly at Ryoku. If he didn't dodge, which she fully expected him to do, he would be sliced up badly by the sharp winds. Kazumi made a hand sign and focused more chakra into her body. She used the wind and actually moved, so fast she appeared to vanish. In reality, she merely reappeared in the rafters of the academy. She was silent, comfortable up high, just like she used to in the forest back when she was hunting for her brother. She weaved several hand signs, and felt roots form from her chakra and the elements. The roots rose directly behind and under Ryoku, going for his hands and feet, to restrain him.

Smirking some at her first actions. 'Good no questions just action, will do well with little time to think.' Looking at her fans and movement he saw that a wind attack was being wound up. Good start, wind being one of the faster offensive ninjutsu.' Holding his cross whip close to his chest he focused and projected his body temperature outward. He could feel the usage of this technique taking its toll on his bodies endurance to heat.
Taika no Jutsu [ Fireproof Technique ] 1/1
Letting the warmth of the jutsu flow through him and adjust. His blood started to warm more and more until his temperature was easily 110°F. He had to get this under control if he wanted to walk from this jutsu without fainting. Allowing his chakra to flow through his veins alongside his blood as almost a coolant from his own tech. He could feel his own temperature reducing back to that of a normal summer day. As the wind technique was just about to impact on his spherical shield he noticed out of the corner of his eye some roots making their way to hit or restrain him.
The wind technique impacted on his flame sphere dissipating it nearly instantly. Now that he was free to move he used the still raging hot metal on the Abyssal tail. Sending more Katon chakra into the whip through the hilt it caused the ends to get red hot. Pushing the button as he twirled it around his body slicing the roots leaving a flaming stump of where the roots once were. He had to admit, he broke a sweat from her attack. Returning his weapon to his side but still being weary of the wood behind him. But where she was once standing she was no longer there. Raising an eyebrow he was not expecting after an attack like that for her to be gone. Taking a more defensive stance he readied himself for anything.

Taka had originally planned on checking out the dojo but she felt a couple of presences that were just more interesting than a couple people kicking the s**t out of each other. She could see that any day. For the moment she hopped up onto a high window and swung the entire thing outward so she could sit on the framework of it. One of her legs would dangle down as she watched the familiar faces go at it. She was sorta itching to get rid of some pent up energy but she had to maintain her image as a lazy cat anyway. People tended to forget what people can do when they get a certain image of them in there head.
So for the time being, she settled for looking like she was taking a nap up in the window, or at least was about to do so but was watching the spar waiting on sleep to take her.

Kazumi formed a hand sign and watched as two clones formed from her own body, first as wood, but then looking perfectly identical to her, one was in front of her, the other was behind her, so as to avoid detection. One clone she donated some chakra to, so it could use at least one jutsu, to further make her Sensei believe that the clone was her, the second, she directed to attack.
The first clone silently jumped from one rafter to another, then another, so that she was directly opposite of Kazumi and the second clone, then threw one fan. She followed it up with a lunge attack, deliberately going for a suicide strike. The second clone dashed away from the real Kazumi, at a ninety degree angle that would still keep the original perfectly hidden from everyone not in the rafters.
The second clone, the one Kazumi had given the extra chakra to, formed a string of hand signs, Kazumi herself mirroring them since she was the one actually performing the jutsu; but she made it appear as if the clone was doing the jutsu; and threw a vortex of water at Ryoku, aiming mostly to douse any flames, with a dash of hope of catching him in it and ending this. The original Kazumi, hugging the rafter she was on so that she wouldn't be seen, weaved together some signs, and made water form at Ryoku's feet, so that he wouldn't look for her, that turned into chains that tried to snare his hands and feet.

Gen had been off to the mission board to see someone that must have been waiting for him. That way he could collect his reward from the passives from learning his jutsu. But along the way he was stopped and told to go to the training grounds that he would meet his instructor there. Upon entering the building he was met with two people one from whom he remembered from the hokage's office. His eyes rolled before his head shook. She was the one that was about to burst into tears when he was there. "Tch..." He scuffed before turning away from the scuffle. Gen along the way had tied translucent string to some of his shuriken and now he was pulling them from his pouch. His fingers quickly tied them along one another before setting himself up against a dummy. His hands then threw the shuriken and altered there path for a moment. He didn't let the shuriken go beyond the dummy, he just made it look as if they had been curved from the direction and velocity of his throw. Gen even went as far to walk and gather each one as he threw them. If this person was his teacher then he didn't want him knowing what he could do; at least not all at once.
Gen gathering his shuriken back into his pouch turned and looked at them for a brief moment. Shaking his head again his attention turned back towards the training dummy. His hands gathered towards his chest before signing away and then from his mouth a strange mist began to form around the dummy. Gn just watched before shutting his mouth closed allowing his chakra to stop allowing the mist to continue. He then stared watchign before executing another technique. " Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu [ Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique ]" He spoke an a flame erupted from his mouth. The large orb of fire coated the area before him before igniting the area around the dummy seemingly catching it on fire. Gen quickly moved his hands covered now with his sleeves before patting at the dummy trying to put the fire out as best he could before stopping himself. This was perfect. He allowed some of the fire to catch upon his arm before signing away once more. His body began to heat itself up. Coming from the Uchiha bloodline Gen was fairly familiar with fire techniques, so naturally he needed to be able to protect himself from the fire. So due to the fire being part of what he created with his charka Gen prepped his body trying to prepare himself as his charka flowed against his skin and body. This technique would lessen the burn from most other Katon techniques as well.
Gen then proceeded to finish putting the dummy out before he caused any real damage to the training area. That or he was kicked out. Turning back and walking af ew feet away he began to think. Trying to remember anything. Then an idea came to him. His hands began to sign away very slowly at first. This technique was similar to another although this one three extra signs were added at the end to change it's qualities.After attempting to manifest this technique around the third time he began to feel an external heat form within his hands. Then fire sprouted along his arms and up to his shoulders. It was as if the boy himself were on fire. Rushing towards the dummy with a new found speed his hands struck at the target, palms leaving burn marks as he struck the dummy multiple times. This all happened before extinguishing his arms and continuing with his training, this time mind tricks.
[Nenshou Tosshin [ Burning Rush ] - Learned]
Gen was trying to prepare his body trying to make sure that he would be ready for what he was about to do to himself. His eyes closed for a moment while his mind raced. Opening his eyes he walked towards one of the windows, his own reflection within the glass. He stared for a moment taking in a deep breath before he attempted this. "It's...not real." He whispered to only he could hear it himself. Being from his clan he knew what he had to do to get out of this. So reaching down he gripped a shuriken tightly in his hand. Almost letting the point break his skin. Suddenly he stared straight into his eyes. The world suddenly changed. The training area split in half and a large crater in the ground began to form. Cracking the earth and building in half multitudes of past family members far long and gone began to raise up from the floor and ground. Calling to Gen to come and join them in the after life. His body took a step back as he was legitimately scared for a moment. His eyes widened and his breath got deeper. His body shook for a moment before squeezing on the shuriken. Breaking the skin and causing blood to roll and bead up along his skin before falling to the floor. The crack in the earth was suddenly gone and Gen was standing there his body shaking from seeing so many people. Sweat fell down the side of his face before wiping it away with his arm. His breathes were now long and drawn out.
[Anoyo Kiretsu no Jutsu [ World of the Dead Fissure Technique ] - Learned]
Gen walked back to the window hand dripping with blood as he gathered himself. His body still shook but he was getting used to it now. This time he stared back into the glass. Still unsure of himself as he prepared for the worst again. Chakra built up in him as he muttered the same words to himself. "It's not real." He then closed his yes before reopening them suddenly. Gen then watched as he took the shuriken and ran its blade across his neck. He stood there trying to speak but nothing came, blood ran from his wound now. Coving his chest with a red liquid. Quickly he squeezed the shuriken in his hand and his reflection returned to normal. He had missed his throat leaving but a small tick against his skin. His hand however seemed to be taking more damage as he needed to get himself out of the jutsu.

Gen was ready for one more technique, well at least for now. His arsenal would need to grow after this training; that and he needed to properly greet his instructor. Turning back to the window his body tensed up. Wondering what was next. Glancing down at his right hand it was bloodly, a small smirk appeared against his face before turning his eyes back to his own reflection. Raising his hand his fingers wrapped against the shuriken ready to break the jutsu if he needed. His eyes shot open widen and but himself in the jutsu. His body felt as if he couldn't move. He tried to back away from the window he couldn't do it. His body felt like it was caught. Looking towards his hand the blood still rolled down going down his wrist and into his sleeve before his eyes shut. Hand gripping tightly as he felt the sharp pain of the tip of the shuriken digging into his skin. He snapped out of his illusion before placing his shuriken back into his pouch.

Seeing two of her jump down from the room he now knew where she was hiding originally anyway. As to which one was the clone was hard to tell, If ether of them were her at all. But currently the only threat was coming from the ones he saw. Extending his whip by pushing the button on the hilt. Using his hawk eyes to accurately pinpoint the tip of the whip to hit the thrown fan. Connecting causing the whip to flail off and the fan to be deflected. Making a handsign as he saw the water vortex approaching him he took control of the whip, making it go up towards the rafters and latch around one. The sharp spikes from the chain dug into the wood for extra grip. Pushing the button on the hilt again he started to ascend to the ceiling. He slowly rose to the ceiling, far slower then he should have been. Looking down he saw why. He had been held by water chains. Laughing some to himself as he hung from the rafters. Looking up he saw Kazumi sitting perched on one of them. "Well ya got me, even if it was for a moment."

Kazumi huffed slightly and shook her head at him, one hand on her fan, the other prepared to make a hand sign shook he be attempting to lull her into a false sense of security. She watched him warily, then sat back on her heels on the rafter. The dark haired girl then looked at him, eyes narrowed, "So..... I pass?" She asked, just to be sure. She knew that most Nara's were pretty good at upholding their word, but she didn't know this Nara, and he was supposed to be her Sensei, but she'd been out in the wilderness for a long time, and could only rely on herself out there. She had very nearly gotten herself killed when she had trusted someone she shouldn't have, and had nearly lost all of her belongings if she hadn't thought as quickly as she had. She wanted reassurance, but she wasn't sure she could take it, either.

Gen just turned looking at the older nin was hanging from the rafters via a whip. His legs were bound with what looked like chains made from water. He was staring up into the ceiling while speaking towards someone. He didn't see the girl anymore so he could only assume that she was there. Gen steped forward walking towards them slowly. His hand still dripping with blood as his head tilted towards the side. It was then that he reached down into his pouch hand gathering some of his shuriken that had held the translucent wire along them. Positioning them along his fingers so he could control them once more he walked towards the male hanging from the rafter. He knew this had to be his instructor, after all he was teaching the girl from before and seemed to be the only one qualified to be an instructor. Gen then reacted quickly. His hands threw the shuriken towards the man, he was already trapped and hopefully he hadn't noticed him. At most it was six shuriken heading towards him. Two seemed to be on a direct path while the other four were a little off so if he dodged he could curve them back.

Still hanging by the whip and holding with one hand. The muscles in his hand were beginning to tire. The corner of his eyes picked up on the movement of another. It seemed to be another student that was in the academy. It wasn't anything to be worried about until he seemed to throw shurikens at him. 'Must be another student, jumping in on the game to try to hit me as well?' Using a bit more of a nifty trick on this one considering it was a bit of a surprise attack. Letting go of the whip completely, letting it dangle from the rafter above. The pulling of Kazumi's chains propelled him faster towards the ground, quickening his plummet.

Making a handsign during the fall the shadow beneath his body as large as a baseball began to enlarge considering his body mass was quickly approaching. By the time his feet were to touch the ground, instead they passed right through it. Ryoku being a bit on the free spirited side let out a whistle sound as his body passed into the ground as if he had landed in an extremely deep puddle of water. That also failed to make any kind of slash.
Ryokus body was completely gone within the shadow, especially considering the shadow he had passed through was now gone considering there was now nothing casting it. Watching a moment as the shuriken passed by he moved upward to the roofs exits. Peeking his head out just slightly from Kazumi's shadow he spoke out in a low tone. "Well, It seems another student is here for some training. Hopefully you don't all start off our meeting this way." Chuckling some to himself before sinking his head back into the shadows.

Taking another moment he moved close to this other students shadow and spoke from it. Using a trick he had known of to project his voice from everywhere at once. "Ryoku Nara, How do you do? Assuming those weren't standard shuriken. Would you care a second try?" After a moment one Ryoku Nara stepped out from behind the corner of a room facing the student about 10 yards out. Taking another defensive stance prepared for yet another students advance.

Kazumi blinked, then looked completely baffled as Ryoku disappeared completely into his own shadow. She watched as he, essentially played keep away with the other male. When he popped his head out of her shadow, she jumped in surprise. How was he doing that? She didn't know of any jutsu to make that possible, was it possibly something he developed himself? Or maybe it as a clan jutsu unique to the Nara clan. She shook her head and sat up on the rafter. She dismissed the two clones she had made for her own test and just let her feet dangle, for the moment. She put her elbows on her knees, and her head in her hands, and just decided to watch her assumed team mate's test. "Ryoku Sensei never answered me." Kazumi mumbled to herself, slightly annoyed with not knowing.

His shuriken flew right through the air where the instructor had been dangling. His ears then began to pick up the subtle words the the other ninja. They were coming from every where it was hard to actually pin point where he was given his status. When he dropped Gen watched as he disappeared into the floor, no it wasn't the floor he dropped into his own shadow? 'A Nara.' Gen thought to himself. He had seen a couple of them at the academy learning only subtle hints of their clan jutsu. Just the simple fact they could manipulate their own shadows.
Gen didn't respond to Ryoku as he seemingly teased at him. Not really thinking too much about the others in the room for a split second Gen's hands came up with a kunai cutting the strings from his fingers as the shuriken slammed into the wall. He then dropped the kunai to the ground letting the point rest into the floor before his hands came to the middle of his chest. Fingers and hands moved signing away before his eyes closed and his lips pursed to a small opening. His body then shot towards the side not sure where Ryoku was. Well if he was going to use shadows then Gen was going to try and get rid of those shadows, but this was only a set up. A hazy faint mist came from the boy his body running through the training area spreading it out like a wildfire. Gen's pattern as he moved about the training area came to a halt in the corner of the room. The mist had stopped a couple of feet in front of him and had yet to expand further in the room towards where he had stopped his technique. Once more the boy quickly signed away before his mouth felt an intense heat rising forth. "Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu [ Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique ]" The contact with the mist would surely cause the whole room to explode in an eruption. As well as hopefully catch the instructor when he showed himself. Well unless he was stopped.
