Face it, you cant fight the truth. anything that grows uncontrollable without predators inevitably kills itself.
Case A: when scientist put snow hares on an island with absolutely no predators around, and a bountiful amount of food, they reproduced so fast that they killed off all natural growth on the island and then all died due to lack of food. this self made extermination only took 12 years.
