Chief licked the edge of the envelope slowly.

Taking great care that all was in order. Her lips curved into a smile of its own accord. And why shouldn't she be pleased with her own handy work. Sending the guests to Flo was a stroke of genius, who better to sort out problems of that nature then a dragin after all.

But even as she became comfortable in her chair, the tell tell scratching started to claw its way on the back of her neck. Festering, causing great unease even as she sat completely surrounded by her fortress.

That's when the whistle blew.

"Oh good more guest have arrived." She thought with a sarcastic smirk. Even now she could her the chaotic clamoring of mixed voices down stairs. Blowing out a small stream of smoke from her nostrils, Chief swung her legs over the desk and headed towards the group.

Hetukiri's eyes opened slowly and she moaned a long and dry moan, as though being woken from a deep sleep. Feeling a certain shift in the aura around the castle grounds, she emerged from the wall she was embedded in,almost looking completely the same as all the other stone statues that where encrypted in the walls of room she was in. Now breaking free from the cobwebs and dust that painted her entire body gray she stepped firmly on the ground and looked right then left, making sure all was as it should be*

Her ears then twitched as she felt the castle's doors opening with a loud dry wood creek. Immediately she lifted her self from the floor and glided about 3 inches off the ground towards what ever dared intro dude in the Castle of Neteru.

Crossing the hall in long strides still lifted off of the ground, Hetukiri, muttered under her breath, completely oblivious to the collective eyes stalking her every move. Dusting away cobwebs from her coat, and adjusting her clothes. Now feeling movement in the air around her, she opened her bright teal eyes and narrowed them as they settled on the group of the strangest looking creatures she had ever seen*

Notingles looked around as the doors were opened by Nhikxter,[[do hope i can make this one spoiler]] the sound was overly iritating to his ears "perfect... why cant abandoned castles by silent for a cahange?" he toght as his eyes started to adjust to the castle's light, only to set his eyes on an rare sight... to him anyway.

"what?" he wondered as he saw the floating creature on the hall "i'd better stay quiet for now" he concluded, keeping himself discreet as he waited for someone to speak to the creature or the other way around. Those would be a few tense moments in the night but... Notingles couldnt shake the feel it eould be just the begining.

Able Barlow glanced over to the guy who had spoken out to the one's who were complaining about who knows what. She then looked over at the statue everyone was staring at but quickly looked away from it. She could feel the storm nearing them and she could feel the electricity in the air. This will really be a bad storm...whoever gets stuck out here when it hits is sure to die... Able thought to herself and looked down at the ground and at her bare feet. The wind that hit her body felt good and a small smile spread across her face. Faries tened to like the wether...well the race she belonged to that is. Natures elements were her favorite things to learn about and around this time she had already mastered the four major ones. Others in her population had learned it as welll...but thousands of years ago they were killed off and she was what was left of them all. Able snapped herself out of the thoughts and looked back up her eyes set on the person who came out.

User ImageNicholas Alexander Wolf, commonly known as Nick, is a bounty hunter who often doesnt plan his travels well. He plays things by ear and usually follows where the fortunes are great. He never really cared about his safety for as long as the journeys were worth it. Now, however, he finds himself doubting his choices as he found himself, along with a handful of others, trapped in the middle of a chaotic storm.

Nick's goal was to visit the famed Castle Neteru, rumored to be filled with treasure of immeasureable value. He did his research before even setting foot on the castles elegant marble steps to the front doors. Despite the protests of some people in the group, he replied.

"It's your choice, you can stay outside here and die in the storm, or take refuge inside. Atleast inside you live a little longer."

Castle Neteru was also known to be a traveller's death pit, rumored to be a stone prison filled with unmentionable danger.

"The brave come in, the dead come out." Nick muttered the words an old man told him in a bar off town before he began his journey here.

As he heaved open the large doors, Nick and the other travellers were surprised to see such elegance and beauty all over the main hall. To top off the lush patterns and carvings was a grand statue of a large beast, staring down at the uninvited visitors with its jem-encrusted eyes.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the famed Castle Neteru."

Noth looked at the statue calmly before seting his eyes to the storm behind him "wonder how i barely got wet..." were his toghts, looking back to the eyes of the statue, Noth tried to find any inscription near the head... nothing that could be seen from there, and other tourists blocked the view to the base.

Noth was an major writer for a newspaper before he was given early retirement, he did not know how he got that retirement... but he took the chance to get rid of work, and with a good pay, around five thousand dolars a moth... for an acelerated retirement it is rather good for him.

He also enjoyed lingustics, enough to learn sanscript and a number of latin languages, including french, italian and portuguese. This fact helped him a few times, but not much, so he just learned those languages due his interest in the said lingustics

Both feet landed firmly on the ground as Chief shot across the desk.

Oping for the banister and not the stairs, she slides down to the main hall, sure it was'nt very lady like, but when in doubt take the fastest route.

Once the railing end came into sight, Chief flipped off the ball tip, moving smoothly through the air to end up some odd feet away from the on lookers. Bounced up smoothly from her crouch on the marble floor, her eyes traveled from around the room. Noticing the unannounced guests loitering around, she pulled one of her twin long blades she kept at her side. And placed it under the chin of the elven.

"You left the door open again, didn't you,"
she spoke in a cool monotone speech.

Step by step the headache got worse, every second incing it into another migrane. Lord only knew what she would do with another migrane harassing her. Maybe this time there wouldn't be police around.
Long white hair cascaded over one shoulder, slightly stringy and curled due to the sudden increase of humidity brought by the oncoming storm. What didn't help was that, as she was running for safety, June had lost her path. Without any knowledge of where she was or how far she truly was from civilization, her eyes almost lit up to see the brim of a building over the untouched horizon that the storm was about to claim. Almost.
Walking closer to it, June took note of the surroundings, slightly distracting herself from her headache. She hated low pressure systems.
Grat; the place was pretty much deserted--or not cared for, at least. Taking a chance that the door would be open so she could gain shelter during the storm, June found herself following after a peculiar figure into the castle's main hall.
She truly lit up at the magnificence of the interior in comparison to the grounds. Before she could fully take it in, however, she noted the other people in the front hall as well, and pushed her hair back before tapping one on the shoulder
"e-excuse me...am I interrupting an event? Or is everyone in here to keep from the storm too?" she asked, hoping not to sound too out of place.

*Hetukiri cringed a bit and used both her pointer and middle fingers to push the blades away from her chin and stepped back a few steps behind chief but still standing on the left of her,and finally settled herself on the ground and closed her eyes then replied in an annoyed but mumbled tone*

~I did not leave the door open this time woman...and I most certainly was not expecting any visitors today~
*opens her eyes and Looks toward Nicholas*

Unless you had invited company this evening?

Chief gave the elf a skeptical look.
"You say you did not, yet here they stand. All bright eyes and bushy tail"
Letting the sarcasm roll off her tongue, Chief made a clicking sound with her mouth at the elf, signaling her disbelief in her stories of keep the door lock. Never the less, the humans were in, and judging by the storm over head, would be here for some time to come.

Clicking the dust from her own covered boots, Chief watched in utter muse as yet another traveler came to partake in their isolated home. Considering the females wear and appearance, she'd have to be with the group that intruded earlier.

"No event dear one, unless the event here is you.
Though I must say, tis not everyday the Castle gets to host such a large number of guest this time of year." she gave a hidden smile at the thought, but quickly pressed on. She moved uncomfortably close behind the girl, as light as the wind, the door was shut. "You must be chilled to the bones," noting the females long wet strains of hair and attire, "here let me help you warm up." Her hands clapped and soon a blazing fire was light in the hearth.

User Image User ImageOn the top of the stairs, as soon as Chief whizzed past it on the banisters, a stone raven began to move and come to life...

Or rather, woke up.

Her scarlet eye gleamed with mischief and she preened her feathers for an instant before spreading her wings and landing atop Chief's left shoulder.

"Finally, some new guests," she spoke into the woman's ear, a grin detectable in her voice, which was surprisingly smooth for a bird--not that other birds could talk very much. "I was wondering when I'd get to see something new around this place." She nipped her mistress's ear affectionately with her beak. "Did you know how boring it was up there? You've been awfully mean to me, Chiefy... Turning me into stone like that. You didn't forget about me, did you?"

Then, as if she remembered that they had company, she swooped low over the wet, shivering guests. In a whirl of feathers, the raven changed into a slender, young-looking girl with porcelain skin and gleaming silver hair. A cold little smile was painted on her thin red lips, making her look as though there was always something particularly mischievous in her mind. Pretty as she was, the cruelly clever eyes of the raven remained upon her features, always calculating, always sharp. Still, she curtsied in front of them.

"Merle at your service, monsieurs and mademoiselles."

Noth was taken by surprize by the events taking place... fire being generated from humid air, stone ravens moving and taking human forms and *welcoming* the group... might strange, but he kept quiet no matter.

"Well... at least it wont be so boring here..."
He finaly toght, still waiting for the... chief, as she seemed to be called, order the group to their room s or out of the castle... but the first option seemed more likely by the time, and that made Noth relax a bit.

User ImageNicholas felt uneasy the moment he and the rest of the uninvited guests saw the ladies of the castle emerge from the darkness. They were what most men would want to be with in their beds. Elegant. Beautiful. Flawless. Doll-Like.

Despite their warm welcomes, Nicholas couldnt help but doubt every action they took. He motioned at the back of the group as far away as possible, but close enough to hear their conversations. He crossed his arms, hugging the only thing he finds valueable above all other material things in the world. His scythe.

"I heard rumors about the mistresses of Castle Neteru," Nicholas muttered, making sure that only a few could hear his words. "Perfect young women, alluring travellers to their deaths. It was either through pleasure or treasure, both paths meet the same bitter end. Witches, some would call them. By the end of the day, these angels would be drinking wine from your skulls. I guess tonight we shall see if these words are true."

Judging by the raging storm outside, Nicholas knew he was in no position to simply leave the castle. He knew he needed another way to survive the night.
