Golem: "They're there for a good reason, but I can not recall what..."

*Time passed, while the golem struggled to remember why they couldn't fly across the pit (aside from it's vastness), or why there was a blast door in the first place. GL just passed the time staring out into the pitch blackness. At this point in time, the small crystal shards on the floor where the only source of light.*

*The machine halted suddenly, shaking violently. Something had struck the bottom of the vehicle.*

Eztli: "What the hell was that!? Why did we stop!?"

*A massive burst of orange-ish light tore through the darkness, temporarily blinding everyone. GL made his way to a window, squinting as his vision readjusted. Small thuds kept hitting the vehicle.*

GL: "Oh... s**t. I think I know why that blast door was back there."

*Screaming filled the area outside the transport, as something slammed against a window. As quickly as it had appeared, it vanished, smearing against the rather strong glass and leaving a grisly smear of blood and gore. Dozens of strange creatures had appeared out of the shadows, and began slamming themselves against the vehicle. They were trying to break in. The demons resembled human beings, with their torsos torned opened. Their arms stretched out longer than normal, ending in tendrils, and with a thin fleshy membrane that served as wings. Their legs ended in sharp spikes of jagged bones, and their eyes were grey and glazed over. They screamed as if they were still alive and being tortured, slamming themselves against the transport repeatedly. Sone of the glass began to crack...*

Golem: "This is not an ideal situation..."

*The golem rushed over to the transport's control panel again, and wildly began messing with switches.*

Golem: "It's not responding!"

*Glass shattered, as the front view window broke apart. The golem slammed into the other side of the transport as several of the horrid demons broke in.*

*Sephiroth wondered if something important was knocked loose when the bottom of the vehicle was struck. Staying low to the ground and ignoring what was coming in because he had no doubt the other four angels would take care of what came through such a small window, Sephiroth searched for a little panel that might open up to something that helped make the contraption go. If that blast door was there, certainly there was something for sitting ducks like them up here. When he saw what could be it, he tapped it to hear what sound it made and worked at getting it open. When he got it open, he quickly examined and started tinkering with it.*

*More glass shattered... Small creatures begin to pour in, the abandoned. They seem to work together with the larger demons, attacking the angels and spitting acid at the tram. GL swears as he slashes at several of them with his scythe, slashing apart the head of one of the smaller demons. It's acid splatters against the metal wall, and begins to make a hole... one that the other demons start tearing into to make wider.*

GL: "s**t! They're trying to break in!"

*The tram jostled suddenly again, as a great amount of sparks shot out of the panel Sephiroth was working with. One of the abandoned suddenly slammed into Rosemary's face at the sudden movement, a single open, black, dead eye staring into her own.*

Abandoned: "Mooooommmy... Come with us, mooommmy..."

Daphne felt a little uncomfortable. "I guess..." She answered the first question. She looked to the ground trying to figure out what to say. "Um... I guess I'll hav e a drink... I'm not really a picky drinker. I mean, whatever you have will be fine." She mentally kicked herself for her stuttering.

*The thing that disturbed Rosemary the most about these creatures was not the fact that they looked humanish, but they smelled similar and something told her that they'd probably taste like similar to one too. It was speaking to her and calling her mommy...now that creeped her out...however this was a pure demon though and was never once human...and it was hurting her. She put her hand through one end of the creature's side and out the other as if her hand was a blade and flung it away from her.*

Abandoned: "Moooommmy! Don't leaaave meee!"

*The thing left nasty gashes in her face as she removed it. When Rosemary flung it aside, it zipped out a window, smashing into another demon. The others finished killing the rest of the demons, or shoving them back out the hole they made. They barely had time to catch their breath when a loud explosion shook the tram. Thas glanced outside to see what had happened, and that's when things got out of hand.*

*The tram began to steadily increase in speed, sparks spewing forth from the top of the tram. The vehicle shook violently as it moved, the sound of metal straining. Several things that sounded like cables, snapped. The tram now tilted forward as it zipped along it's shakey rail.*

*The golem tried to get back to the controls to stop it, but the panel blew off. An abandoned emerged, and giggled as it quickly escaped out a window. The controls were ruined, covered in acid.*

Golem: "I would suggest bracing yourselfs!"

And of course the emergency break is out. *He watched the tram go through the window in front of them...after a while he saw the other side of the cavern the exit and turned before it would hit the wall...however with how fast it was going it wouldn't turn but fly off right into the wall. Rosemary must have seen this two and they both must have figured bracing themselves wasn't going to help much in this damaged flying basket because they both started to yell,* Get out get out get out! *Those who made it out of course spun in the air a bit before they could stabilize themselves. It was even worse for those that were carrying the non-flyers. Of course GL was one of the first out with an escort. However by the time it reached the end and flew through the air Sephiroth and Rosemary hadn't made it out yet as it crashed into the wall and the debris fell a few feet to the floor bellow.*

(I suggest the golem be in there too...I doubt anyone other than Rosemary could have carryied him and besides he'd probably take less damage from impact which is why he'd wait till last).

GL: "ROSEMARY! SEPHIROTH!"

*GL winced as the tram smashed head first into the wall, the horrible screech of metal twisting and stone being broken off echoling loudly and painfully. It stayed there for a moment, suspended only by a few frayed cables, until seconds later those snapped as well. The tram crashed onto the floor, glass and metal crunching together, as the engine burst violently into flames. GL ran towards the wreckage before anyone could stop him, screaming his friends names.*

*A pile of the debris shifted... the golem's hand emerged, knocking away stone and ruined steel. The creature summoned by Jacob yelled out, it's voice muffled by the rubble.*

Golem: "We are alive, but we need assistance! Hurry! The demons will still be after us!"

*Moments before the vehicle had crashed violently, the golem quickly shifted his shape, encasing both Rosemary and Sephiroth in a sphere of metal and stone... they were still bumped around, but at least were saved from any impaling damage by the wreckage.*

*The distant screeches and cries of the demons behind them reminded them of the danger hidden in the dark. Moving rapidly, the group began to remove debris so that their trapped allies could be freed.*

Mult zgomot pentru nimic. (Much ado about nothing) *She said out loud and in her head as she crossed her arms slightly annoyed. She couldn't go through the golem like she did through walls and she thought it was probably because the thing had a soul. That thought was probably shared with the rest of the group. Oh she was grateful for what the golem did, but she could have escaped by going through the wall and she would have if she had known the golem could do that, but she didn't and her bother to stay behind to protect the currently unconscious man (he hit his head too many times) from the crash to the best of her ability was for nothing...well at least she didn't have metal sticking into her from about every angle which she found to be a plus.* Don't vorry... Sephiroth iz just unconscious und I...vell I'm sure Galantros at least knows how vell I can take being bumped around in comparison to being stabbed...the only thing vrong iz my leg hurtz und I can't figure out vhy in my current position. *Not much she could do in there except not to breath so Sephiroth could have air, so she tried to relax a little as she waited with that man ontop of her.*

She's one of those types that I think are rare that can have stuff other than blood. We'll Daph you said you came here to see me, what did you want to see me for? Did something happen at the house?

*The golem's form shifted as more and more debris was removed from it's back. Finally, it was free enough to break out of it's prison of wreckage, unwrapping itself from Sephiroth and Rosemary. It urged everyone forward, as it moved towards another blast door, opened it, and slammed it shut behind them. Nobody wanted to say just how close the thousands of demons were when the door came down, but GL swore he felt one tearing at his tattered disguise. The creatures banged loudly on the door, but with no results.*

*Now they were in pitch darkness once more, a thick inky blackness only broken by the glowing eyes of certain individuals, or light providing crystals they held.

Golem: "Memories... a bit more clear now. Yes... I recognize this area, from his mind. An abandoned mine, valuable resources depleted... ...The mages had filled it with various demons, and failed experiments. Does us no good now, having passed the chasm. According to his thoughts, if we move forward, we will eventually come to an elevator. It will take us to the surface, and we shall be in the heart of Ni'Jitogrimiz city. We will have to be very careful, on the surface."

Tiamos: "I'll pick out a nice fruit juice then. Just relax, make yourself comfortable. Let my husband know if you need anything else while I'm gone."

*Something about Tiamos' mannerisims and expression just seem to fill Daphne will a surge of calm that was beginning to ease any insecurities she had. It was strange... was it a result of being near the soul guiders? Both seemed very friendly and warm. Or was it the unusually beautiful structure they lived in?*

*Xylanthos took a seat next to Daphne, Black still on his shoulders. He left it up to the kitsune whether or not she wanted to leave her perch. Once she answered Black's questions, he had one himself.*

Xylanthos: "So, are you a friend of my cousin Galantros as well?"

Daphne kept on forgetting what she was. She constantly did this. oh well. While she didn't get any satisfaction by drinking anything other than blood, she didn't die if she drank one. She wasn't always understood but that was okay. "Nothing is wrong." Daphne said, "It's just everyone is gone and the house had an onimous feeling about it..." She realized this as it came tumbling out of her lips, "I'm kind of worried about the others. Though, I am not sure why..." She broke off, in thought. Out of thin air it seemed she heard the male soul guider, she snapped back to reality with a jolt, "I am." She answered but then she thought back to the name, "Wait, I don't think I know your cousin. Unless..." She broke off once more this time with a shrug.

*It was Sephiroth's sword that made her leg hurt...It was ticking right through it and she didn't figure out that was it because it didn't bleed. She pulled it out...no blood on the blade... now that she thought about it she rarely saw blood when he'd cut into something. She tested it because Sephiroth was currently out of it and it was in her leg, so he shouldn't mind. He let her use one that he called the muramasa, but not the masamune.* It'z heavier zan any sword I've ever held...efen one zat's almost as long as this... *She checked it's balance and found it to be right.*

*She stopped toying with it and held it on her shoulder as she covered her face with the hood. She wasn't looking forward to where they were headed...no one probably was. When she notice one of the party members stumbling a bit, she took their hand and started to help them.*

GL: "Thanks..."

*They could still hear the echoing screams and cries of the demons behind the door... the things they were saying were very unnerving, and everyone tried their best to ignore it.*

Mommy! Don't leave us! Don't go! Please! Help us! I'm scared, mommy! Where are you!? WHERE ARE YOU!? HELP ME, MOMMY!

*GL shuddered, thankful that their horrid screams and wails began to grow silent as they moved on. They sounded far too much like children for his liking.*

GL: "Rosemary.... I'm glad you and Sephiroth were alright."

*He didn't say anything else, lost in his own thoughts as the group moved. For once, nothing tried to stop them. They made it to the elevator without incident. It was large, obviously meant for transporting materials. The golem fiddled with the controls, grunting a bit as if frustrated. He stopped suddenly, as if another memory came to mind, and simply kicked the panel. Shaking a bit, the elevator began to move, the mechanisims complaining loudly as they began their ascent.*

Golem: "Hide your lights now, and ensure your disguises are suitable. It is unknown if there are mages waiting to greet us at the surface."

Thas: "What about you? We don't have any extra cloth to disguise you."

*The golem said nothing, instead using one of his metal fingers to begin scratching something on his forehead... Two symbols, one the familar Niearcim mage mark that Rosemary knew well... and another that was similar, but instead had a triangle in place of the circle.*

Golem: "I shall pose myself as one of your summoned demon slaves. Once we are topside, we should not seperate. Draw no attention upon yourselves. And no matter what may be seen, attempt to appear passive as if such things were usual occurances. This is most vital."

*Finally, the elevator reached the top, bathing everyone in the sickly daylight that belong to Ni'Jitogrimiz. They found themselves in front of a tall metallic structure, seemingly abandoned. In fact... all the structures in this city were made of cold metal and stone, looking like sharp blades jutting into the sky's under belly. Off in the distance was a massive structure, shaped like the Niearcim's mark*

Golem: "The citadel of their worship, and rumored lair for Jiluzix himself. Also the most dangerous area in this realm. It is most likely we will find Jacob Merak within its walls."

*Examining their immediate surroundings, they appeared to be in an alleyway. The golem thought for a moment, before gesturing to follow him down a certain path.*
