Halo: Rebirth (Open and be ready to drop)

Arcuss and his team quickly took a defense position scanning the area for any threats, suddenly a sniper bullet whizzed past taking out yet another brute. this in turn caused the grunts with them to freak out and run around screaming and shooting in random direction "stop you idiots!" "damn bullet sponges, why did we even bring them along!?" it was only a matter of seconds before each grunt was laid out minus a head "all right they're coming from down the hallway. jackals crush formation" the jackals formed into a line the width of the hallway and using their sheilds made an impenetrable force, they sticked their plasma spears through the cracks of their sheilds and began marching forward 300 style. just as they aproached the door of the hall a spartan dropped down behind them and with one slash of his sword killed every jackal at once "fire at will!" all that remained now were brutes and they began firing down on the spartan. the spartan quickly rolled out of the way grabbing one of the jackals sheilds and spear. he deflected their bullets and as one made to reload the spartan hurled the spear at him pinning him to a nearby wall "this really is a suicide mission. against such a force as a spartan with such incompetent men damn that prophet!"

Sen turns."Jumpy glad you're here I need you to help me test this new AI port for Cortana come on chop chop."

Jumpy shifted, then took Displeasure out of his helmet and set her down. "Don't get lost now." He shrugged and sat down infront of Sen. "Sir... I would much rather be asleep." He shrugged and then let himself go limp slightly, blacking out. He had been under alot of stress, and it'd gotten to him.

((I have to go for two weeks. Johnel, You have permission to do with Jumpy what you please, but please, don't make him wear underwear on his head, running down the hallway with a plunger in his hand calling himself King Brownstain.))

(Well pdragon could focus on Arcus for awhile so not to much will have to be done with Jumpy and curses you actually had given me a great idea I now have to force myself to not make him do that.)

arcuss quickly changed cover and pulled out his dual plasma rifles, one red and one blue "time for the purple mist" he was about to pop up and begin shooting when he realized that he was the only one left. around him were 4 spartans and apparently there was one behind him because the next thing he knew he was laying on a table in a medical bay. he sat up and clutched the back of his head "what happened?" one of the spartans walked up to him and handed him a pill "here take this, its asprin for you head ache. sorry about having to hit you arbiter but we didnt want you to attack us thinking we were the enemy. also we know you must have been undercover but we couldnt risk letting the covenant forces survive"

(pdragon is Arcuss on the Spirit of Fire ship I mentioned if so then there is a problem for the only Arbiter that the crew on the ship would know is one that they fought and killed so they would have just shot Arcuss through the skull if it is a different ship though I will let it slide also marcos please let me introduce your character to the story first for acting like he was always there is not good for the plot and no offense but please work on your spelling it doesn't have to be perfect but there is improvment needed and also would you please explain what you mean by in the time of ODST?)

(allright then, i assumed that because they were on a UNSC ship they would still have acess to intel files which would have informed them that they arbiter would be their ally)

Bio:Marcus got his nickname of (blacksmith) because he once found himself in a tight fit against the covenant in the time of the odst story line due to the fact he was alone in the battle field after his whole squadron was killed and also the reinforcements were still on there way so he went after to chieftains and took them down single handdedly and took their gravity hammers and annihilated the residing squadrons of covenant forces

Sen called Shurkan on the comm. "Shurkan I'm sending in a new Spartan recruit named Marcus Saintclair for your inspection. If he is battle ready for the mission include him if not send him to the new training facility on New Reach." (New Reach is just an unglassed Reahc) (Also the crew on the spirit of fire have been in cryo sleep for about 20 years so they would most likely lack intel because it would A. most likely not be sent to them and B. the smart AI on the ship has either died or whent rampant. Also mabye use the rampant AI idea just a tought)

shrukan nodded "allright then" he escorted the new recruit to the training facility and started up the battle similator "show me what you can do"


arcuss looked around "wait what is going on here?" the spartan sat down in a nearby chair and continued "we've all been in cryo sleep for a long time and when we were awoken we assumed that we were ready to take action again, but our ship's AI brought us up to speed on what we missed. she told us how the chief defeated the covenant and the flood, she also told us that the covenant is still out there and that the arbiter and the elites are aiding us in wipping them out. she also said something rather disturbing....she said that while she was probing nearby ships for information that she came across news of a new spartan program, one that the UNSC doesn't know about, the spartan III's, she told us that these new spartans are planing to take over the UNSC and that the arbiter would come here and that we should assist you in any way possible" arcuss was in shock "is this possible? maybe things are starting to go my way" he cleared his throat "yes that was indeed my mission, unfortunately it took us a long time to find you and the new spartans have allready taken over, please let me speak to your AI so we may find a way around this"

(dun-dun-dun) Sen called up Shurkan. "Hey could you please make the simulation harder than normal for this new recruit but lower the enemy count I thought we would shake things up."

"no proablem" shrukan adjusted the settings as sen had asked "three hunters and two cheiftans....god luck"


the spartan nodded and took arcuss to the main deck of the ship, there several other spartans stood doing a varity of things. one was checking system calibrations, another was inspecting weapons, another still was just lotering around doing nothing. all of them had a unique set of armor but they were all pretty beat up "just this way arbiter, the others are getting ready, its only been a few weeks since we unfrooze and some of us are still adjusting" he was leaded into the control room and left alone. on the AI pedistal a small women was projected and it adressed him "hello....i've been waiting for you" she smiled "what is all of this? you know full well that there is no plot for the spartan III's to take over" she smiled again "yes i know. but the spartans are fooled into thinking so, just as the wise prophet predicted" she laughed softly and a stream of red code moved across her otherwise completely purple form "a virus? so the prophet of rebirth had this planned all along?"

Marcus went into the training facility as soon as he got at lest 15 feet into the training facility two chieftains materialized and started charging towards him. Marcus took two plasma grenades in each hand wile also running toward the chieftains. Marcus ran right in between the two chieftains letting the four grenades drop when he was between them and kept running bracing himself for the blast.the grenades exploded and killed both chieftains.after the blast Marcus went toward the corpses and picked up the gravity hammers.just after he picked the hammers up three hunters materialized in back of him.Marcus toyed with the hunters a little until they were in a triangle around him and started hitting the ground with the hammers.the hunters were killed instantly.

Sen watched Marcus's progress. "Hmm... good but I think I will deactivate those hammers and make is only his pistol and one spawned plasma pistol works. Now let me see one Brute War Chieften two Gold armor Hunters and a Banshee should be up next."

Back with the Prophet of Rebirth things were going smoothly. "I see Arcuss has found our new friend well good thing I forgot to report the vast differences between both his armor and marking in comparison to the true Arbitor no wait in fact I have a better idea." the AI's hologram appeared before Rebirth. "What do you wish oh wise exalted Rebirth. Rebirth smirked. "I forgot to inform you that there is another Arbitor that is in league with our enemys I need you to devise a incredible difficult test to make sure you have the right one. If he fails then I wish for you to dispose of him quickly but if he succeeds then he will be the real article. Now act quickly there is no time for dilly-dallying." (I though it would be fun for Rebirth to constantly try and get Arcuss killed)
