Lucy kept smelling the food and stayed by the guest room door.She could hear Mel moving around, she went back into the room and laid down on the bed looking up at the ceiling"Should I wake him up or not?"she asked herself.

Jack woke up slowly and saw Lucy. He smiled and tugged on her a bit. "Morning, love," he said. He did his best to get up but still found it hard since his arm was bad

Lucy blinked as she felt something tug her.She heard Jack's voice and giggled softly.She helped him sit up and.smiled"Morning handsome. "She said as she fixed his hair

Jack sat up and looked at her. "Thanks for helping me," he said. He gave Lucy a small kiss on her lips and then moved to sit on the edge. He started to sniff the air a bit. "Something smells good."

Lucy smiled at him and giggled as he kissed her.She stood up and placed a hand on his back"Well Mel cooked something for us."She said to him smiling softly"Still need help to walk or no?"

"Only a little. I'm still kind of tired," Jack said as he slowly stood up. "Wonder what she cooked."

Lucy stood up and opened the room door.She walked back to him and smiled at him"it does smell great doesn' it?"She asked as she took his hand and started to slowly pull him to the door."If you want I'll feed you."

"That'll actually be nice," Jack said as he slowly walked to the door and to the kitchen with Lucy. Mel was already headed to the front door when she saw them going to the kitchen.

"I left you two some breakfast. I have to head out now to work. Any questions, left my number on the table. Bye love birds," she said as she left.

Lucy smiled as she helped him walk to the kitchen.She looked at Mel and smiled softly as she helped Jack sit down."Thanks >"She said softly and blushed as they were called love birds.

Jack facepalmed himself while slightly blushing when Mel said that. "Damn. She did bug the room beforehand," he said. He sat down and looked at all the food.

Lucy watched Jack facepalm himself and looked down slightly.She sat next to him and picked up a fork"Are you ashamed of being with me?"She asked him as she looked him in the eyes"And please don't lie."

Jack looked at when he heard her sad. "No, it's not that. It's just that...Mel can be an eavesdropper and she tends to tease me a lot," he said. He didn't think he would hurt her feelings.
