Jinyu-Zhe would frown as he looked upon Aneksi, before coughing politely into a clenched fist after the hug ended. "Mind you, it's been a busy couple days. But if I remember correctly, on page seventeen of the Utaku Husband's Handbook, I'm only entitled to one 'right', ever. I, ah... I kind of wish I didn't use it up so soon and you'd stay here after all."
He would tilt his head slightly to the side, smiling. "If anything they have to share would help keep you safe, I would never be able to live with myself if I kept you here by seducing you. And besides," he would pause, stepping back and gesturing with an exaggerated swing of his arm towards the horses in the large stable-tent that the other Unicorn had set up. "Technically I'm at work right now, and mixing business with pleasure is bad practice. It wouldn't end well for me either, since Chishiyo still is a twee jealous and is currently glaring daggers at me from over your shoulder."
Stepping forward once more, he would take Aneksi's hands in his own, interlocking their fingers. "Do you think she'd at least forgive one last parting kiss, though?"

"Aye, well, that one's on you. Shouldn't'a used up your one so quickly." she laughed, giving the man a little tap on the forehead. Her expression changed to one of sultry interest at the teasing words that followed, a wry smile as she eyed him up and down.
"This is why i make sure to give her these brushing sessions myself. And you have an odd way of seduction." she responded with another laugh, turning in place to give her equine companion an affectionate pat. "Hm. But it might be working anyway." she concluded, stepping forward to wrap her arms around her husband a second time and claim a kiss, long enough to be satisfying for the short time they'd spend apart. The short length of time she'd be in the meeting the only real reason she wasn't as pressed about the issue as he seemed to be.
And with little more time wasted, she gave him a parting pat and departed.

@Aneksi and Asura
As Aneksi and Asura approached Ide Goro's tent, a tall Utaku examined the two. Her expression went from a gruff neutrality at Aneksi to something approaching disgust at Asura. She wouldn't stop either of them from entering the tent, but she wouldn't open the door. If and when Aneksi entered the tent, the smell of pungent teas assaulted her nostrils. as Aneksi entered the tent. The amount of Unicorn in the room made the normally spacious tent crowded.
"....we would lose who knows how many people as the wagons shake apart. We need time to repair them." stated one Utaku. Another interjected " We don't know if it's just an isolated incident or something worse. We won't know without sending out scouts."
Ide Goro let out a deep breath. "Damn that nun....or my response to her. Had I not called Utaku Aneksi's party back, we would have had more information."
The first Utaku would then speak up. "Well, we could send another party out again...."
@Misaki The caravan looks well supplied. However, if the caravan were to lose two or three food wagons, things could change rapidly.

He frowned and decided that he should go find Juneko and see about sticking near the supply carts so she could also keep an eye on them. Now where did that girl get off too?

After what seems like a month, Ide Goro gives a deep sigh and stands up straight. He looks at the little battle maiden and states, "Utaku Aneksi! At first light, you will take your party and scour the path ahead of us to determine a safe and quick route through this blighted area. Is that understood?"

"Aye sir." she responded simply, having every intention to already do that regardless.

Goro would nod his head, scribble a quick note out for Aneksi and hand it to her. "Hand this note to Moto Maximus before you leave. He'll be in one of the supply wagons." He would then take a deep breath and regard Aneksi for a moment. "I'm going to make your objectives as clear as I can. You are to determine if this zombie infestation is a matter of tainted land or the work of a maho-tsukai. If it is the matter of a tainted land, you are to determine how far it extends and find a safe path through it. If it is the work of a maho-tsukai, you are to determine whether or not your group can defeat the maho-tsukai or need to return for help. Any questions?"

Aneksi accepted the letter and saluted, ready to leave, when suddenly the caravan master decided to add more to the task, which elicited an unhappy furrow of the brow, but little more. "We can attempt it, sir, but Jinyu-Zhe is not well versed in maho or gaijin magicks, and has no practical experience in either field at all. I still believe this area is better avoided or absconded through quickly, so we can commission Death Priests or Witch Hunters to return here later. With respect, sir, finding and fighting the source ourselves feels like an unnecessary risk."

@ Jinyu-Zhe:
As you tend to your horses and help out in the stables, where asked, you notice....something out of the corner of your eye. However, in front of you, you see a donkey nudge against the door to Chishiyo's door, pushing it open. What are you doing?
@ Kitsune Juneko and Yoritomo Misaki Pending answer from Misaki's player.
@ Shinjo Asura As the other samurai talk, a tall Utaku finds her way next to you. "I've seen some of Tamoyo's goons out here lately. I've also heard you made her VERY angry. Watch your back. If she's as rich as they say, then the mark on your head means being this far out into the wilderness means nothing."
@ Aneksi Ide Goro gave a deep sigh. "As I said before, if you believe your group cannot handle a potential maho-tsukai, then find a way around and determine a path through. To continue through on this path is the best option. It means the least stress on the horses, wagons, and supplies."
He would then point to the end of the trail on the map on his table. "We do not have the time you think we have. We must get to our site before the rainy season really sets in. Have you seen a rainy season here yet, Utaku-san?"

Well, first thing's first. Why is this donkey just wandering around willy nilly? Whatever Jinyu-Zhe must have seen would immediately be forgotten. Paragon of duty, and all.
"What are you doing out here by yourself? Come on, you likely have a long day ahead of you tomorrow; you need to get back in your stall and get some rest, my friend," Jinyu-Zhe would say, immediately going to the animal to lead it back to where it was supposed to be.

"I guess she doesn't like being told no, even politely." Shrugged Asura barely paying attention through his weariness.
"I can only hope my fellow clan-mates will keep an eye out for my blind spots..." Commented Asura tapping his eye patch, "And not succumb to greed."

Juneko wouldn't be too hard to find- the bushi could be found near the water and torches. Sure, she'd have liked to relax with a lot of the other bushi about and talk, learn some things, but she had priorities. Given the utensils and partially shaped piece of wood carefully laid out near her, finishing an additional one of her strange throwing weapons was evidently one of them, a fine place for a bushi to be putting her focus.
Though it seemed that the boomerang came second to appearances. Her kimono had been dusted off and straightened, face gently washed and the lightest touches of makeup reapplied after the long, hot journey back here had put them out of place again, and she was just finishing getting her hair straightened perfectly atop her head, out of the way for manual work, yet elegant when the bossman came up to her.
She seemed to notice her employer, pausing a moment looking at him out of the corner of her eye- then returned her attention to finishing her hair and putting a comb up to pin it in place for just a moment longer before making a sound of acceptance more than satisfaction, and standing properly to face him.
"Fine timing, Misaki-san. More to be done?"

"We should keep an eye on the supplies. We're going to need them all to make it through this travels without big problems. Anything else, I'm not certain. Probably should see what the Unicorn have in mind now." He frowns, then shakes his head. "Go find the Utaku and see if she has anything else that needs done."

"Aye Boss," she said, starting to pack up the utensil's she'd had out for the wood shaping, and stopped as he made his second statement- and pointed out at the camp.
All of the camp.
"You mean the one that was off scouting for us, or did you just need whoever answers first?"

Shinjo Asura: "Utaku Naomi, by the way." She would then turn to appraise the rest of the gathering. "Friendly advice, watch the Mantis. Their merchants learned from the teats of the Yasuki. Ide can be trusted. They have Utaku blood in them at least."
Utaku Jinyu-Zhe and Chishiyo:
The little donkey would bleat longingly and try to muscle his way past Jinyu-Zhe and towards the mare's stall. OOC: Strength/animal handling to get the donkey back into his own stall.
