*BlackMN sighed a bit and fell back down, not feeling very good at the moment.* Besides you didn't ask Rosemary if you could ask me that did you? I think she would have like being asked since she's from a time past when it was proper to ask the father if they may propose to their daughter...and seeing as Veni isn't really a father figure, she's the next best thing.

*Veni stared at Malos for a few moments before a devilish grin spread across his face as he suddenly realized something he had been ignoring up to that point: Malos has no real preference. This could be a rather enjoyable night.* If you put going to see a movie that way, *said Veni with a smirk,* I do think I should ask her. One of the worst things to deal with is a woman's wrath.
I heard zat!
See what I mean? *He whispered.*
I heard zat too! ...I hear everything.
*The 18 year version of Veni opened the door, still rather cheerful.* Then you heard everything else I've said. Will you allow me to take Malos to the movies without fearing the jealous wrath of my wife?
*She raised an eyebrow at him.* Vhy should I? Vhat are you up to? *She smiled.*
I just want to take Malos out so he can enjoy his stay here. Maybe even more so than when he was here for Christmas. I also would like to know him better.
Mmmmhmmm. *Said Rosemary obviously thinking about it. She waved her hand at him.* Go zen. Enjoy your night. Remember ze rulez ve agreed upon eef you do anything else...except for ze last one... Zat one I'll forgive.
*Veni's eyes brightened and he was so delighted he was almost giddy. Maybe the alcohol in the blood he drank?* You're in an unusually good and lenient mood tonight. Is it because that other fox is back or because you got to play with Galantros a little?

No thank you. I'm vaiting for my child to return from playing vith ze other fox und I vant to continue playing vith Galantros. Zat game ve played vith Jacob a vhile ago. Maybe ve can get Githar to play.
*Veni entered the the kitchen, looking his real age again, as the door swung shut behind him, he put his hands on Malos' shoulders.* Well you heard her! *He released the boy.* Grab your coat and let's go before she changes her mind! *He tapped his nails together in anticipation, but soon found himself covered in blanket since Rosemary had opened the door and threw it at him.*

Ze one vit ze guns und ze var stuff zat basically made hallograms of uz or zomething...vatever it vaz Jacob looked good vith a whole face. Vait...I do belief Githar played zat too.

Well... In Limbo it is easy for a vampire to obtain food, however here it is not. Here we hunt for it and sometimes I think we're stronger than the non-hunters because of that. Anyways one of the main methods we use is, especially if you were killed because some vampire found something in your looks that they wanted to preserve or something like me, seduction. That method usually lacks screams of fear and the catching of unwanted attention before you can make it as if you were never there. You can see how touching another can cause problems especially if you're one of those rare married couples and especially if your favorite place to feed on a person is right here. *Veni rubbed his inner thigh.* So Rosemary and I had to decide what we can and cannot do before it becomes what we consider quite intolerable or flat out adultery.
Anyways, *said Veni who seemed to have mellowed down a little bit,* I won't go as far as explaining every one of them in detail, but basically if you want me to, dear Malos, I can have a little fun with you like I do with them only it would be purely up to you and afterwards I don't have to feed off you and make you food for it like I normally have to do since that is the purpose of it. That was the whole alleviating of the last rule. *He shrugs.*

*Malos jerked back a little at the unexpected contact. As perverted as his thinking could be sometimes, Veni could easily sense the youth wasn't quite comfortable with the touch.*
Malos: "O-Oh... uhm... uh, maybe. I... dunno. *Ahem* Anyway, movies... I guess anything action, comedy, or horror is fine with me."

*Veni smiled.* Sure. We will try to see one of those then. *He paused in his speech for a moment and seemed to think of something. The boy was uncomfortable on so many lvls...he wondered if one of the reasons was due to a vampire myth that would probably make anyone uncomfortable.* I do not know if you are aware of this or not, but let me clear it for you if you are not: Despite the popular belief, I do not know what you are thinking. I try my best to read body language, voice tones, facial expressions, and the like and I am usually right in my observations. However I am not able to do this as efficently with reapers since they are different than what I am accustomed to. The only way for me to 'read your mind' is if I was trying to make you drown in my eyes. If I did that you would be in a trance of sorts and not able to really think straight and then I'd have the ability to give almost any order and you would follow it.
*They continued to walk for a while and said nothing else really. Without warning Veni grabbed Malos and lept up to the roof of a building and let him go. It was one of those old drive in theaters... probably the only one for miles around. This explained why he didn't have the boy use a disguise rune or anything because no one was likely to see him anyways.* I'll get you a headset so you can hear. Do you want anything? Popcorn? Hot chocolate? Ding Dongs? *He waited for an answer before he dropped to the grounds bellow to get the things, leaving the blanket behind with Malos...which of course explained why he had it in the first place.*

*Veni smiled a little bit.* It's one of those cream filled pasteries that really aren't good for you, but are supposed to be extremely tastey. I'll get you a ding dong too. *He wouldn't know how well they tasted of course since he can't eat them. With that he left without answering Malos' last question. When he came back several minutes later he handed Malos the headset and foodstuffs. He sat rather close to the boy so he could easily throw the blanket over both of them and have it wrap around them both completely.* Whatever is playing on this screen is what we're watching. *Said Veni as he stared at it. After a while of staring at the screen he said,* Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to see these as they are meant to be seen and not frame by frame. How about you? Does each frame flow into the other or do you see them each individually for a fraction of a second?

*Malos quickly abosrbed his food, a small puff of energy mist leaving his face... a reaper burp? He watched for a moment on the screen as the zombie character stumbled around, and tripped over the hero's foot... It was a strange horror/comedy mix they were watching.*
Malos: "Uhm... It seems mostly normal to me. So you actually see the movie like that, frame by frame?"

*With Italian horror movie music even. Veni had asked the question because he was curious on how well the reaper saw. He now figures it's about the same as humans except with better night vision and maybe for some the ability to see things that most people would miss.* I suppose you can compare it to how they say a fly sees a TV screen...but I wouldn't know, I'm not really a fly type. It can be rather distracting at first, but if I get into it I stop noticing that little inconvenience. *He drew up his knees, wrapped his arms around them, and rested his chin on them while looking at the screen. He fixed the blanket that he had wrapped around them to accommodate his new position.*

*Flash staggers into the THoR. It's been a long time since she's been here and things have definately changed. She finds an over stuffed chair and crashes backwards into it wincing in pain she leans back just trying to rest and breath for a moment*

*Black had seen Flash come in and went to greet her.* Welcome back! *Flash had apparently not seen or heard her and appeared injured...so she got Rosemary. Surely she'd know what to do about an injured vampire.*
*Rosemary stared at Flash on the couch and didn't say anything for a long time. She didn't touch the other vampire to move her around to try to grasp the extent of her injuries. * She'll "live" if that's what you want to hear.

Interesting. Ian, the shopkeeper in the town north of here got arrested for arson and I got jury duty for it. xp It's all over the news. It's a bad case though. They can't prove that he did it. They can only prove that he was there and in places he shouldn't have been. A lot of Gaians were there that night and probably in places they shouldn't have been. However if they charged him for the assault of the butler, then yeah...he'd probably be found guilty for that.
