Miko would have most likely noticed along with everyone else in the office that he had not left the cylindrical trash receptacle he'd taken refuge in. The snow had most likely drowned out the entirety of his locomotion which involved rolling, and extending his arms pulling rubber banding himself with his makeshift armor. Whence Miko finally departed to the upper floors of the office Toso would eye the cork board. Suddenly his eyes would reflect a fire unlike that of anything seen before. Axel, Hakanai, Oh...well then it seemed something was lit within Toso. Erupting from the trash can he'd submit his report. Along a bunch of other extraneous escapades he had gotten himself into. Awkwardly the secretary would offer him his reward. Immediately no words spoken he slammed the lid of the can on the desk causing the secretary to jump. With a estranged grin she picked up his message and laid out a set of pages for missions. "I wouldn't recommend it though. It could be dangerous to be outside right now." "BLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP! IKA IKA IKA!" An eccentric display of Onomatopoeias as the low tier missions were grabbed hastily. Toso would provide the secretary with an honorable bow leaving behind the snowy trash can.

Entering the building, Hatsu would walk up to the secretary's desk. Giving a report to her she would tell the secretary what mission she had and where to find the children. Obtaining the reward for it, she'd then get a new report. Thanking the secretary she'd remove herself from the building, unfurling and reading the report as she walked to the dojo for some much needed training. Apparently she had been promoted to chuunin.

As Miko knocked on the door, the solitary ANBU who stood outside the office spoke up. His voice was low in pitch, but not as loud as one might expect. "The Raikage is out of the office right now. If there's anything you need, please report to the secretary on the first floor. Unless it's urgent?" The slight inflection at the end gave the question his attention, and he faced the genin, waiting for her response.

✰ Miko would look over to the Anbu and she'd c**k her eye brow as she'd stuff her hands into her sleeves partially to give off a guarded gesture of her feeling and partially cause it seemed to get really cold really fast that even in doors would likely feel the shift to some degree. Biting her bottom lip in a bit of frustration Miko would fix her attention on the Anbu's eyes and would answer him. "It's nothing urgent, but this would be the second time I've come looking for the Raikage and he's been out of his office. I need to talk to him about my status as a shinobi and particularly why I haven't had word on anything about a teacher, or a team since the incident with the bandits weeks ago..." Sighing to herself and turning from the Anbu Miko would begin to head towards the stairs before looking over her shoulder and calling back to the Anbu once more with a little more projected tone to her voice. "If you don't mind relaying a message for me, would you tell the Raikage I'm looking for him? " With that Miko would make her way back down to the ground floor but it would seem that outside the door a mass of snow had piled up in what would be only moments between her accent and return. Awe~ crap. This doesn't seem to bode well.
Something was up with the weather, there was a slight inkling about that before at the end of her last Mission but it seemed obvious now. Even for a blizzard this was harsh. Turning to the secretary on this floor Miko would seek to ask her a few questions " Did the Raikage mention where he'd be when he left earlier? Also I was wonder if you had any spare gear or clothing for colder climates in the tower. I'm need to make it somewhere, but just from looking at me you can see I'm not quite dressed for this weather. which brings me to ask you did you guys get any clue that the weather would be changing like this? A heavy tapping at the second floor office door. It was a frozen hell outside as most window were covered and those with knowledge and skill in Katon were becoming a commodity. The nin at the door readied themselves before opening the door. A violent burst of wind and ice soon filled the room and a trash can covered in ice and snow had fallen inward. The nin confused were ready to close the door but the trashcan moved forward as two arms erupted forth to pull itself in. The secretary knew who this was but was still shocked he used the method twice. If anything it at least proved to be effective but not many people would have or support the idea of masquerading around in a trashcan and most people didn't have the Hojo's trademark extending arms to assist in their travels of dragging oneself.
Toso had made several stops on his way to the office. The small eatery was in a panic when they saw him having gone through such great lengths to deliver unto them wood for which to stoke a fire. Needless to say they had a fire already stoked from the previous nin and while his mission was redundant the people couldn't help but be thankful. The fruits of his labor would reveal themselves after he erupted from the confines of the trashcan now at his current location. Toso was now in warmer attire. His face shielded snow with his extra layer beneath his already warm coat, his shoes replaced with boots that sported a similar black fluff, beneath his pants a set of thermals. They were even so nice to treat the sprain he had undergone earlier in the mountains.
Toso would approach the desk he would then present the report of which he began writing in the time he had helped the children who in turn were helping him at that time. The secretary looked wide eyed and smiled. It took a certain kind of dedication to complete so many missions in such a time frame. Not to mention the completing them whilst mother nature herself was against you of course...by now people realized chances were that it was no longer mother nature who had a hand in this. She would offer Toso his reward and be sure to tally up his success and put in a good word for his commitment albeit foolhardy decision. It was here Toso would raise a finger. The secretary realized what he was referring to. Toso prior to discovering the office had been storing his belongings in hollowed trees. Now with the office he could store them in their care. The secretary would leave and return with a pelt. It seemed the whether now justified it's wear on top of Toso's already usually warm attire.
Toso would then rest on a provided seat. Despite all the warmth on his person he was still somewhat cold his bones and body ached. Uncertain of who was still in the office or if any more people arrived after him he would drift into a peaceful slumbering state by a fire being kept a lit by a Katon using nin. The woman behind the desk sat quietly until Miko finished her barrage of questions before answering. "I'm afraid the Raikage didn't tell me where he was going or when he'd be back. But he hasn't left the village." As for the second half of the questions, her head tilted slightly to the side, hand going to her chin in thought. "I can't say for sure that we just have clothes lying around. I do agree with you that the change in weather is rather sudden..."
She trailed off as she was handed a report by Toso, who had bundled up well against the cold.
It was right around then that the howling wind outside the tower suddenly came to a stop, the world outside becoming eerily silent. Although still unbearably frigid, the storm seemed over, for the moment. A couple of minutes passed like that in silence before there was a human cry from somewhere in the tower.

✰ The Secretary wasn't really all too helpful when it came to getting answers or clothing, but it seemed like she was useful for clearing Miko's conscious of doubts about her suspicion. which by now was a certainty that things were out of wack with the weather. Mid sentence the secretary would trail of as Tosokurui had come bursting into the lobby with the help of Anbu who seemed to hear his knock at the door over the whistle of the wind beating down on the building as the blizzard raged on outside at that time. Crawling in with a trash can on his body Miko looked on bemused by his determination to make it to the tower in spite of the horrible conditions outside, which just sent shivers across Miko's entire body just from the moments of exposure she felt from the opening of the door and the cool air emanating from the layer of frost laden over what parts of Toso had to brace its self against the snow. Stepping back and away from the cold and trying to find her own shelter from the wind Miko would make her way near a window and woudl lick the tip of her finger and test the cold at the glass as she'd press her finger to it. It felt like her hand woudl freeze to it in an instant as she'd pulled away and it hurt. This kind of cold could cause frostbite in a minute or less if the wind chill was even colder.
Watching as Toso seemed to have stored a pelt for his own warmth, to which Miko perked up at the thought of possibly being able to coax him into sharing with a friend his bounty and letting her warm up a bit. Yet as Miko made her way over to Tosokurui who'd found a place to lay down and seemed to fall into a hibernation state. Then Miko noticed something, it was quite, no wind, but the cold remained unchanged despite the lack of the wind and it's chill. Then came a sudden cry somewhere in the tower. Sighing heavily Miko could only assume that wasn't just her imagination and she''d see to waking Tosokurui before asking the secretary another question to better inform herself of her surroundings. Despite being in this build as many times as she had been she wasn't someone familiar with every inch or the number of people with in the building. "Common sleepy head we might have some serious trouble going on inside. WAKE UP!" Miko would say as she'd approach and kick the seat Toso had laid out on.
"You heard that too right?" Miko would ask the secretary before moving on to ask her another question. "How many people do you think are in the building right now other than those down here? It'll make it easier for me and the squid boy to possibly check out that cry...unless the Anbu here want to move on that first. either way a little sensory work on inspecting the building would be helpful, right?"

How long did he get to relax before he was awaken. Five? Ten? One minute? How long it was, was irrelevant now. All that was relevant was it was a fleeting rest. Nowhere near enough for an adequate recovery of his aching body. He should have accepted the offer he was given before by the kind folks who gave him his attire and slept at the eatery for the night. However, Toso was stubborn and his stubbornness would come with the consequence of fatigue. The tasking requirements of nin, to be ready at a moment's notice. Oh how he wished to but a few moore moments.
Now his eyes would blink. He found himself only hearing the ends of a scream a scream which forced him into a state of alert. His vision was still blurry seeing only a canvas of grey before him there was a body in front of him. He couldn't hear the Miko in front of hims words to the secretary but as she spoke to the secretary with her head turned in a groggy misconception spawned from natural reflex Miko would find in an immediate instance she'd find herself pulled inward in a grapple. Toso's arms not unlike with the lion snaked at whip like pace wrapping around Miko's Torso and breasts the particular distribution of the length of his arms designed to prevent retaliation of the arms. The other arm however had chosen her legs. One could say they formed a near figure 8 between her thighs to wrap around the ankles. Toso would then thrust his full weight forward. This cause an awkward looking detainment where Toso's body would be on top of hers applying pressure while his arms dealt with the struggles of the arms and legs. His head would then be facing the floor next to Miko enabling him to speak in his 'captives' ear.
"Bloop, Bloop, thought you could get drop on me did you. Trying to kill someone while they're asleep, bloop, how shameful." Almost like a bad romance film the two of them would be lying by the glow of the fire. His body heat ideally warming her somewhat cold state. It seemed that Toso still was unaware of whom it was he 'captured'. However in his current fatigued state with a little effort whoever they were could most likely loosen the bonds his freakish arms were creating enough to push him off. It was that or wait until he finally realized he had an ally in his grips.

✰ Just as Miko had turned to the secretary to better inform herself of her surroundings the the situation at hand that needed to be addressed. She felt the sudden shift of motion coming from Tosokurui and she knew from having witnessed this motion before what he was doing, but she had no idea why he'd be aiming for her of all people. Turning about and adjusting her stance to brace her limbs to wedge him off of her just as fast as he'd clasp on Miko would find her self coiled. His grapple wasn't impregnable by any notion, but it was difficult to get free particularly because of his strength and mass compared to hers and his arms length and tentacle likeness. One of her legs would hitch it self between her and his chest. and her arms were drawn into a sort of "boxing-guard" position. The only thing she could consider being a positive of this was the bit of warmth from the amount of bundling up Toso seemed to put on for the weather and his animal skin cloak. So too bad for Toso perverted subconscious but access to a full on grope fest would be difficult, even with his apparent physical advancement she still held superior reflexes to his.
Listening to his little statement and the tone of how he said it Miko could make out that the idiot was half asleep and couldn't see clearly. Since her hands were up she had the space to move them about at the wrist to pinch at his cheek. Following that she'd yell, "Wake the F$#@ up! We've got work to do!" Craning her self loose enough she'd move her hand over his head and would grapple him back by burying his head into her chest to suffocate him some to jolt him into full consciousness. Common you idiot, I'm not the type to work well alone when freaked out crazy stuff is running wild. Once she'd felt him wiggling to get free or at lease felt enough room to use her legs she'd knee him in the gut and would roll out of his grasp fully and would look to the secretary for an answer. "Sorry about that he's almost an embarrassment to all shinobi, but he's reliable in a pinch..."Sighing to herself and moving over to Toso to grab off him his pelt she'd drape it over herself. "So, do you know the answer to my previous questions if not I'll continue to investigate of my own devices if the present anbu are incapable." Looking around the room too the Anbu whom were present through out the events Miko would try to see if there were any disagreements with her assertion to try and draw some control and logic into solving their present problem.

Tosou was still for the most part in a dazed state. Miko's kneeing was responded with what could be a gelatinous bending of the boy's spine. Toso was by no means an invertebrate but his double-jointedness made him close. The kick however was enough to invoke a second wind. The second wind in question was enough to get him to regain his senses. The blur became clearer as it revealed itself to be Miko. Immediately although showing no signs of embarrassment he realized his fault as the arms became uncoiled. "Bloooo...BloooooooP? He still far too caught up in his daze to realize Miko light handed his pelt.
The sleepy squids current mind set then went from lethargic to urgent once more if realizing if Miko wasn't the threat then the threat was still present. While Miko would have been trying to get a response from the secretary he just proceeded to dart up the flight of stairs believing the cause of the scream would still be in the vicinity. He'd for the most part have ignored Miko as rudely as that would sound but her profanities or her underhanded insult/compliment water under the bridge in Toso's half asleep state. In Toso's mindset you didn't need to ask to take action in such situations. He began his ascent unhindered by the cold to a degree from his current attire.
Toso's immediate inclination was to check the Raikage's actual office. Reaching the top flight of stairs recklessly bypassing the other floors he'd be panting. When finally arriving in the Raikage's waiting room he'd see the door to the office shut. He would then whip both his arms back as if producing a momentum then he'd pull them inward on their return striking down the door. Should there be anything behind said door toso would now be able to see it as there was now a hole left where the door formerly was. It seemed the Hojo clan or rather Toso's Hojo clan branch had a penchant for destroying things in a stupor.

Looking more than a little alarmed by the situation that had just played, the woman's brows furrowed. First there was a scream from somewhere within the building, which the ANBU immediately broke post to investigate, but the genin in front of her started asking questions about the number of people. Then the 'squid boy' attacked her, she brushed it off like it was nothing, and turned back to the secretary demanding answers again. She stood up to fully face them, opening her mouth to answer, but her gaze locked onto something behind Miko. Her eyes widened in panic, and she screamed in terror, backing away from the pair quickly.
However, if she turned around, all she would see is a haze of mist that dissipated as quickly as it appeared. But that wasn't all. The two ANBU who hadn't left their post by the doors were covered in ice, frozen solid. Ice also coated the doorway and was beginning to creep its way into the building. By the time she faced the secretary again, the woman was running for her life up the stairs of the tower.
Despite the ANBU outside of the office's best efforts, Toso crashed into the office anyway, to find... nothing. Not even a clone was present for once. The man guarding the door was just a ruse to any attempted attack. However, the genin would see that the windows surrounding the office were frozen over, and the sound of wind outside had ceased altogether, leaving the room eerily silent.
[I haven't forgotten about you. Toso attacked Miko, so the secretary had no reason to speak.]

✰ Looking in the direction of the secretary Miko would not her slight dismissal of her question given the random jump Toso gave he, but when she seemed to ready herself to actually give Miko something to work with her face seemed to suddenly change. Oddly enough it didn't quite register in her sensory abilties, but the fact that something was behind her seemed clear as day by the shift in the expression on the woman before her face. Reaching for a Kuna and not turning back Miko simply kept a even pace walking forward away from whatever it was. The sense of the cold just off the back of her seemed to crawl along her spine, but it could of been her abilities creating a "phantom" expression of what was going on behind her. Tosokurui had already ran off after his off putting sleepy display and now the secretary had left too. After taking a few cautious steps and looking slightly over should while still wearing the pelt Toso had left Miko woudl see in a quick peek that the Anbu were no frozen solid and the ice was frosting over all exits and creeping ever further inwards. Whatever fire they'd built or had going was possibly taken over by this "frozen presence". Creeping herself out a bit at the ghostly way things seemed to trump up into another issue with seldom logic behind its happenings Miko furrowed her brow in a bewildered sigh of annoyance. "For f$#cks sake... okay lets break this down." Breathing slowly and trying to keep her paranoia in check Miko simply walked behind those that escaped to higher ground. Watching closely at the encroaching ice to see any signs of how fast it was growing so she could estimate how much time they might have to actually deal with whatever was doing this before they were all frozen to death. As heroic as running straight into danger seemed it was the quickest way for a low ranking ninja to.
Processing her options and the scenario's she'd have to deal with Miko too to walking up the stairs not in a rush so she didn't run into something that might be laid ahead, but not slow enough to be cut off easily if that were the case. She need to think things through and act at the same time, but her skill at doing both wasn't anywhere near perfect. A.) Following behind Anbu who are more experienced, but I have no training for working in an efficient team with likely leaves me as more of a hindrance to them than an aid if they themselves didn't see fit to think of a plan to put me to use. B.) The primary source of tactical information for how many active shinobi are in this building and are combat ready has just fled, and saving her and whomever might be in danger now has become a priority, but even her informational value isn't certain, only likely. So~ C.) I get to Toso and I somehow get him to stop being such a loner long enough to reason, at least an objective and immediate solutions to keep us alive, and hopefully stop the threat. Though I bet the targets not likely in this build, still if there's anything to be protected we still would need to have some knowledge of it or the Anbu, Raikage willing, would have the sense to put someone of skill to protect it... So which options easiest to follow? Miko's internal dialogue came to a pause as she'd notice where the first pair of anbu might of run off to address the sudden scream from earlier. Rolling her eyes she'd look on at the entry way before putting her hand together to form hand seals but she wouldn't mold the chakra just preemptively prepare herself for jutsu before walking through the path.

Toso was the analytical type...when he wasn't tired. It would be unrealistic to believe the man who had assisted the capture of a lion, tended to children, ventured into the mountains, and had been lugging himself in a trash can all day with no more that ten minutes rest could be anything but tired. The Raikage or his clone were nowhere to be seen. That registered, but the anbu 'clone' did not. Toso didn't find its presence out of the ordinary whatsoever.
All the windows were frozen shut. To say the least the room began to develop an eerie feeling. To summarize Toso's opinion...he didn't like it. It was quiet...too quiet. He'd leave the office waiting room to analyze the stairs once more. People were funnelling upward. Why? If anything the higher you are the more at risk you are for falling. Not everyone had built in grappling hooks for arms if the icy terrain caused them to slip.
Toso began doing something strange there after his analysis of the people moving up the stairs. He would grab the brush on his side and begin swaying left and right in a lullaby esque drowsy performance. "Bloop... Bloop... Bloop...Cowards...Bloop...Hiding...Bloop...Weak...Bloop..Bloop...Bloop." He began reciting an ominous metronome of Bloops and insults directed over the edge of the buildings balcony. There was very little logic to his behavior but what could be drawn from his actions seemed like he was baiting activity. Whether the activity would be violent or not was a different story. He wasn't the sensory type perhaps if he were awake at the time of the scream he could have deduced its origins. Toso would continue his somewhat creepy and ominous insulting sway that made it seem like the man was on the brink of insanity talking to the nothing but snow in front of him. "What do yoooou hope to gaaaain. Bloooop."

As Toso watched, the ANBU stopped on one of the floors below and headed down a hallway there, the secretary from the first floor sticking close behind them for safety, though why was unclear at the distance the squid boy stood above them.
Besides that, nothing much happened. Outside, the wind began to kick up again as the storm resumed its fury.

✰ On her way up the stairs and just about to follow after the Anbu the secretary was able to catch up with (unknown by Miko), she'd over hear the voice of Tosokurui speaking to himself echoing somewhat from above. The pause int he winds from the storm, The eye of the storm?No, blizzards aren't hurricanes so there's no eye. So why did the wind stop? Then just as suddenly as the quite took hold the wind began again. biting her lip a bit as she puzzled at the question Miko would effect a jutsu to clone herself. with in a plume of smoke two Miko would appear wearing the same garment s and in the same chilled visage she'd take on from the ever growing cold. Even with the pelt helping to retain heat it didn't seem possible to keep the cold totally away. It made thinking a bit lagged but it didn't stop her mind from fuming at the questions and what evidence she had to work with. though in terms of practical information Miko would need to take a moment to peek behind the vale even if a little bit helpful. Yet with experience Miko had noticed the measure of vulnerability her strongest and widest spread sensory jutsu left her. So the answer was simple, "increase my numbers"
In that thought Miko had made her way some short distance after the Anbu towards where they'd chased the scream, but pausing for a moment after her clone was made she'd conduct her jutsu with a guard, herself. After hearing something of Toso's odd rambling she'd figured it was some coaxing aimed at the phantom of their despair, but it didn't seem efficient enough for Miko. She had to hunt down her enemies. It probably wasn't a good habit to form, but bidding her time on someone else's terms didn't sit well with her. Whatever the outcome Miko had the means to retain some kind of intel, and given her experience it didn't always take long for an enemy to jump out when playing "hide and seek" with them. Knawing at her bottom lip one Miko would hold a kunai and the other would quietly hold a hand-sign for shingan.

The user's chakra is evenly distributed among every clone, giving each clone an equal fraction of the user's overall power. The clones are capable of performing techniques on their own and can even bleed, but will usually disperse after one or two decent blows. They can also disperse on their own. The clones will be created to appear in the same condition as the original did when he/she performed the technique itself. Shadow clones can't be distinguished from the original even by the Byakugan- because the clones have the exact same amount of chakra and aren't made from any other substance. Guild Description: Creates a solid clone which is able to interact with the environment, and perform any technique that the user knows. The strength of each clone is dependent on the actual number of clones formed. If two clones are made, they each possess one half (1/2) the strength of the original, four clones- one forth (1/4), etc. For simplicity reasons, rather than having to split the chakra pool evenly amongst user and clones, whenever a technique is performed by a clone, the allotted chakra cost is taken from the original, overall pool. ( If the original has 100 available chakra, and a clone performs a technique that costs 10, the available amount of chakra becomes 90. ) Shadow clones cannot be told apart by doujutsu. When a clone is dispersed, any knowledge it gained while active is transferred to the original only, no other clones. Clones can only be sent as far away as the immediate area, defined as the sub-forum in which the user currently resides.
