Too cluttered, red doesn't belong, purple doesn't belong.
There is just too much going on. It's also a bit bottom-heavy.

If you think this is cluttered you must not know the meaning of cluttered. It simply hides detail with dark colors which to some makes it seem cluttered, but it's really not. You can see all the details just fine if you don't just look at it once but if you actually pay attention to it, you can see the detail of the items just fine. And the purple fits perfectly with the black. the red also fits because there are more then just 1 or 2 red things. It is not bottom heavy because there is plenty of stuff going on up top too. The only things on the bottom is smashing cities and The Little Great Old One. plus a pair of shoes and some pants.

And by your definition of cluttered your avi is also cluttered, and the gold does not match.
