✰ Stepping lively and looking behind her to make sure Hono didn't fall behind her pace. Looking about with her eyes s she'd entered the tower and walked up to the familiar desk of the bottom floors secretary Miko knew just from the relative time it took to work out her teams "character" that they might off missed the dead line and have some further punishment. Yet jumping through Wan or Kaileers hoops didn't really matter to her as much anymore. There was a solace in her partnership with Hono, that made advancement as a shinobi second to putting together what was necessary to build their shop. Placing the missive on the table Miko would wait for her to take it away. "Figure I'm late with these but we got it done so I'm here to pick up the reward. and move on to the trash collection mission."
In the usual manner Miko would get her money, and wait for her partner to get his. given that he seemedto be a rich kid Miko figured he really didn't need it, but it was good for him to earn his keep.

✰ Miko would notice the rather restrained actions of Honō once they entered the tower. He seemed nervous, but then again he seemed a bit like a simple gust of wind could blow him over most of the time so Miko couldn't be sure if this was just her imagination. Taking the initiative and handing Honō the next missive for the community centered mission they'd been tasked with by Wan; Miko would flick the boys are and to try to call his attention to a steady focus. "Common, and ease up a bit you're wound so tight just of the prospects of our arrangement that I feel ya might faint. Lets go get this clean up job done with and build up our ryo. I wanna get us permission to head to Gimangaure and the infamous shopping district Takumi. there either of us can build our resources for crafting, butt it'll cost us a pretty penny so any job that helps the village and ups our pay should be priority. The training is gonna be so we're trusted not to die on the way, but I've no idea if they'll stick us with a chaperone...che, we'll just have the see. I'm gonna work you hard worker-bee. You ready? "

Honō blinked as the pice of paper was handed to him. Gently taking it from Miko to look over it, keeping his head bowed. He barely began to read it when he was startled out of his concentration by a sharp touch to his arm. "Oh. Uh, right." Honō nodded. She was quick to getting this shop set up... Worker-Bee? Honō followed, slight confusion evident on his face.

Stepping foot into the towering building that housed the Raikage's office, a small blue haired child gazed around at her surroundings thus far. It seemed to be a pretty mundane office on a first glance, but she did not doubt that there were fail-safes present in case some rather nasty things were to happen here, though she had no intentions of causing trouble here. She came to the office today in hopes of not only becoming an official member of Kumogakure, but also hoping to join the ranks of the shinobi here. It came to her like a call really, the girl unable to explain her desire to serve the village and hopefully learn more about the various jutsu that she had not only heardso much about during her travels across the lands surrounding the village, but managed to even see a display of some up close. She began to feel anxious, worrying if not only her request to become a shinobi would be denied, but also her question at if she could even live here. While there were other villages to try in, they were miles upon miles away, a distance that did not really look favorable for a chance at a kage agreeing to let her in. She took a deep breath before choosing to speak up to gain an audience with somebody. "Hello?" Her tone was confident, but the traces of anxiety and unfamiliarity could be traced back, requiring as little skill in conversation as asking an academy student to play a prank.
→→ As the echoes of her voice dwindled into nothing within the monstrous hall that was the Raikage's office the sound of a throat being cleared by a feminine voice might well draw her attention to the center of the room, where a somewhat feminine figure stood with a scythe in one hand and a book in the other. Robes of blood fell around her, blond hair framing a rest Shinigami mask as she stared at the newcomer. The figure remained still until the gaze of the Genin would turn to her, at which time she bowed lightly and returned to an upright position. "The Raikage and Adviser are not here at the moment, so I was asked to step in. May I ask your name and purpose, young one, for daring the mountain climb to reach this lofty perch?" Eloquent, calm, and overly polite, the voice rang out far more feminine than the clearing of her throat did, revealing her sex despite the lack of appearance. →→
Not even a moment after her question rang throughout the hallowed halls of the office, the sound of a person clearing their throat came to the blue haired youth currently standing in front of the entrance way towards the masked stranger. She made note of the mask that he, she, or rather, it was wearing, hiding whatever horrors lied beneath. Of course, it appeared to just be a person who did not want their identity to be known, but it was not like she was missing her entire face, right? The figure gave a bow to Ara, the smaller of the two mimicking her gesture in response as to show gratitude for being allowed inside instead of being smeared across the walls as that scythe in her hand suggested what happened to troublemakers. As the being spoke, Ara could plainly tell it was a woman under that mask and robe, or at least she guessed. It would do her well to not ask too many questions, Ara believing that she would not get much of an answer as an outsider to the village.
"Thank you for your time..." The child began, trailing off before she could finish her sentence due to not knowing what she could really call this woman. She had given no name, and while the Hojo could give her an answer based on her voice, there was a chance that it could be a guy or something else down inside that mass of robes. Shaking her head as she cleared her head, the conversation would continue. Now came time for her introduction, which would prove to be a tad difficult for reasons that were about to be explained. "I am sorry, but I cannot give you my real name. An accident happened several months ago that has claimed most of my memory. The people I know call me "Ara" though." She paused for a moment, unsure of how to continue with her answer before she decided to try her hand at being blunt. Her words came forth from her heart, the girl appearing calm and collected in front of the official, which she normally was aside from allowing herself to act her age most of the time. "I know I come from the lands outside this village. A small town some say. The same accident that I spoke of earlier also destroyed that town. I come to Kumogakure not only to ask for citizenship here, but if I may serve within the ranks of the shinobi. A part of me feels so familiar when working with Suiton and some others techniques I have not yet recovered memory of. I will be willing to do anything required of me to prove my loyalty. It would be an honor if I would be allowed to serve and defend the people of Kumogakure from danger."

"Bloop, I'm surprised it's still here." Cloaked by silence until his familiar bloop signaled his position a squid seemed to reach over towards what seemed to be a small table adorned with magazines reaching for what appeared to be a small cloth. The cloth in question was one of a particular make designed for cleaning the lenses of glasses. Speaking of glasses this squid would certainly have been out of the ordinary as it donned a pair of these spectacles. How they remained on with the lack of a nose was a mystery unto itself.
The squid would then proceed to use this sheer cloth to wipe away the collected steam and what appeared to be flecks of ink that tainted the lenses. "Much better bloop." Toso would say aptly pleased, but he had procrastinated long enough. While the office might have been on his way towards the hospital via the route he was taking he was after all still under direct order to rendezvous at the hospital with Giant-san. Not taking notice of his surroundings or Ara what seemed to be his arrival would become his exit just as quickly. The squid with tentacles acting as if they were legs made way for the doorway.
"Well I suppose I've kept this form long enough Bloop. Wouldn't want to get my face beat in by Giant-san for not being formal bloop." The back of a man in a large grey overcoat with a high collar would appear taking the place of where the squid once stood after a puff of smoke and hazy distortions. His face would not have been visible to Ara but the following action of where his arms seemed to launch themselves outwards as if they were made of rubber would have been if she decided to take notice. With this brief trip to acquire a misplaced lens cloth Toso catapulted his way towards the hospital ~exit.

•Mystic Hero: The user is much like a hybrid warrior, focusing on mixing ninjutsu into their personal arsenal. Through their great devotion to this path the user can cast ninjutsu without hand seals while wielding a weapon, D at genin, C at chunnin, B at Jounin, A at Konin, and S at Sannin. These techniques maintain the same description and criteria to use, as well as require the same amount of time to mold the chakra through the weapon as would be needed to perform hand seals, meaning the techniques are not instantaneously cast. The user’s spirit is so strong, that they can utilize their physical bukijutsu techniques to negate ninjutsu techniques of the same rank or below.

→→ The masked woman remained still and silent until 'Ara' had finished her introduction, looking instead nonchalantly at the blade of her weapon, although it was hard to tell beyond a mask where her gaze had settled. When the girl fell silent though, she stood a bit straighter. "You mentioned you're not from this land, so I assume you've never attended the academy. What is it you seek then?" Standing fully, she maneuvered behind the desk without sitting down; that would have been disrespectful. "I'm afraid that until I know you can handle the basics, you won't be able to receive a headband." She fell silent for a moment and shifted her weight in thought. The girl didn't have her memory, so it was likely that she knew the techniques but couldn't remember them. "I'll tell you what," setting the scythe aside, she held one hand up in a seal, "If you can mimic a couple of techniques of mine, the most basic, then it's yours. If you've had training, chakra manipulation should be like breathing."

→→ The woman first brought her other hand to the one she already held poised and made a clone of herself, details exact, although it had no real free thought unlike herself. It then took a swing at her, and in a puff of smoke, she was instantly replaced with the chair a couple of feet behind her. The clone likewise vanished, and she held a hand out towards Ara, signaling for her to try.
"Sorry." Was the first thing that escaped Ara's mouth before she could even begin to think of a response to the masked woman. "I am from Lightning Country, I meant that I was not born within the village's reach. I don't know if I did get training..." The Hojo trailed off, trying to remember if she had previously gone to the academy prior to her accident with no such memories resurfacing. She furrowed her brows in frustration at the current situation, along with some resentment for herself. Why did she have to go and forget everything anyway? She was certain it could have been avoided, but it was all said and done now. No way she could change the outcome of whatever had happened. The female across from her to give her the headband and acceptance into the village that she so desired, citing that Ara needed to at least show her that she had a training experience that was on par with an academy student's.
"Please give me a chance. I'll do anything you ask of me." The child asked, not exactly begged for mercy from the woman, but wanting some slack given due to her situation. A moment of silent passed before an offer was made. If she could prove to the woman that she could copy her techniques, the headband would be hers. Sighing in relief, Ara gave a nod of her head and watched the woman before her stand, knocking the chair behind her away as she slowly copied the seal with the same hand that her temporary instructor was using. She then brought up her other hand and created a clone of herself that looked identical. Biting her lip, Ara did the same, not knowing what to do next before some part of her suddenly seemed to have a hunch as to what came next. The chakra inside of herself needed to be exerted in order for the technique to take effect. Doing so unconsciously, and not knowing what was happening, the aspiring genin of the village created an identical clone to herself beside her. The clone faced Ara before launching an attack of its own at the girl. Thinking quickly, she brought both hands up and made another seal, substituting another chair in room with herself as the clone disappeared into a puff of smoke upon contact. Amazing... Ara thought to herself. How did I know how to do all that? Did I really go to the academy, or was I taught someway else? The child blinked, moving back up to the masked woman and presenting herself for the next technique to mimic.

INDENT§Ahhh, to be fresh again. This should be an amusing ride." The young man strolled into the Kumogakure office. He needed to pick up his...headband. Ugh. Something in the back of his mind told him to find a way to wear it without actually having to wear it on his head. His hat goes there. Maybe this time it could be a brooch or pin. Just depends on how serious this place was. He walked into the office after being guided there, told the kage was out, but blah blah blah. It was all fairly banal to the magician. It just so happened that...there was someone else there. Two other someones. "Dear me, I've stepped into a bit of something." Kisai would watch one more foreboding person use techniques, while another imitated. A skill check perhaps? Oh well. Guess he would have to wait. "I'll wait just...up there perhaps. Out of the way, no? Kisai pointed up into the corner of the ceiling. Using some small amount of chakra, trivial really, he casually walked onto the ceiling and settled himself in to be out of the way. While his clothing would certainly dangle a bit, and Kisai now holding his hat, the magician seemed rather nonplussed about sitting on the ceiling, or his timing.

Although once more hard to tell, the woman seemed pleased with the results given to her by Ara. "The ability to manipulate chakra is key in combat, as I'm sure you know. Only in rare situations such as Adviser Wanryoku would anything less be acceptable." Her attention shifted, briefly to the white haired boy as he both entered the room and spoke, but she said nothing to him before continuing. "So I hope you see the need for my test." Without warning she made several more hand seals, and when she finished... nothing happened. Her hands fell back to her sides, and she turned away, striding toward the window that overlooked the village. Living up to its namesake, a cloudy sky hung low over the town, threatening rain. "Isn't the weather lovely today?"
Both soon-to-be genin would feel oddly at peace as she spoke, her eyes fixed on the clouds above. Their attentions drawn there as well, they would feel their minds drift as if they themselves were clouds, rising to meet their brothers and sisters in the sky.
Ara gave a nod to the masked woman again, still amazed at herself as she could perform two of the jutsu that the woman had performed. Her next move was to perform several more hand seals, although noothing happened that was apparent. Ara tried to mimic it, before no such muscle memory came to her about what she was doing. The female spoke about the lovely weather it was today, Ara looking outside and shrugging to herself, wondering what that meant. Suddenly, she felt comfortable, as if she was lying down onto a gigantic pillow that was slowly encasing her. She herself being pulled from her body and into the clouds across from them.

INDENT§ Kisai was just settling himself in, when the masked lady spoke, at least he assumed it was a lady. The voice sounded ladyish, but then again...he has heard very lady like boys...details shmetails. So she had been testing the cute little...blue haired...main character? Kisai realized he definitely did not want to know what was happening, but alas he did not realize he was going to get mixed up in this test. The masked woman performed a number of hand seals then...nothing happened. Kisai dropped from the ceiling, his curiousity getting the better of him. The little girl didn't manage to copy the hand seals either, but something felt...peaceful here. His curiosity was ebbing away like the tide being replaced with a sensation of rising to the clouds. Talk about a contact high. It was only then he made a few connections to what had happened. "Hmmm...I think I rather like being a cloud, but some days, like today, that is rather detrimental to my purpose. Buuuut then again..." Kisai twirled around a bit, made sure his hands could be seen by the little girl, and he hoped she would pay attention. A tiger hand seal was formed and a burst of chakra would be emmitted to clear out his chakra network, which had been invaded by the masked woman. He would then sit down again and relax in a chair. "Perhaps its not so bad, being a cloud either. Which ever happens, headband of being a cloud brother my purpose is complete. I have risen to the heavens. Oh he sure hoped he did the right thing. Being executed now would be bland.
