Kisuke returned to the Hokage's office, it seemed they had finally started construction. He saw a notice that shinobi who were high enough rank would be able to help. Of course due to the new village rules, he would not be able to do that...officially of course.
He took the notice and accepted the mission, with or without Taka's permission he was going to help build his fathers office. He began working alongside the construction workers, they didn't even question his rank or ability. Kisuke simply acted as if he had no reason to not be there. So they accepted his help, he was a hard worker carrying multiple bundles of supplies from place to place.
Helping the workers be more efficient and actually making the environment and mood better. The workers would talk to him about random things and they would laugh together, it only took Kisuke a very short amount of time to become friends with people. It was a skill that his mother told him his father never had. But still people were drawn to him in a weird way.
He was surrounded by friends who were powerful in their own right, even though his dad was never good at conversation. He felt like if he could be like his father but also good at talking to people it would be much better. It would make him closer to his father. So he continued working with the construction people, Fang and he worked for hours on end, even working with different shifts of workers non stop.
He would be delivering the supplies they needed to get their work done faster. He could grab the supplies, lift it and get it to their location in less time than it would take them to get down from their positions. At this point the foreman came over to him waving him down from his position."Hey, We really appreciate the help. You work has really sped up our construction time! Here's your mission completion slip, take a break. You worked hard, we will always welcome you back to work with us." Kisuke was a little bummed that he had to leave before they finished. But if his contract had ended their wasn't much he could do. If he worked without contract and their ended if being an injury it would cause liabilities and he didn't want to cause trouble.

Kisuke took his reciept and went to go grab a bite to eat nearby, after eating he was walking back when he noticed another notice on the board. It seemed they needed someone to help with reinforcement of the building structure. Basically it was holding beams together while others drilled everything into place. which he could easily do.
Kisuke walked back up to the foreman and raised the notice."What? but you've only been gone for an hour! And now your back?" Kisuke smiled at the large man before looking at the half finished office."This place holds alot of memories for me, It make me sad to see it in such disarray." The foreman saw his eyes and eventually gave him. He sighed as he gave Kisuke the location of his job.
It was a little bit of the same stuff, he would be carrying the reinforcement material up to the people who needed it. This way they wouldn't need to waste time going down to get it little by little for safety reasons. Since he could climb using wall walking and had much better balance. He held the beams against the walls and allowed them to drill them into place. He was then ordered to go get some black steel that they had left over from previous reinforcement.
This stuff was fairly heavy, even he had a little bit of trouble with it. He wasn't able to carry as much but the men were still surprised at the amount he brought. Once again he made friends with all of them pretty easily. They were just normal people in the village making a living. He was sure they were all pretty busy now a days with the recent attacks that left alot of the area devastated.
Some of them were fairly young but others seemed to be in the business for many years. They were burly men who stood over him though he considered himself to be tall for him age. They cursed like sailors though, but it was that colorful language that made them funny. They all had stories and they all had dreams. One of the older men said he always wanted to work on the Hokage's tower, other said he was training to be a blacksmith but needed some extra money. Before he knew it their job was finished. The others just needed to start laying down the floors and roofing and paint the place.

Of course he would be late. There was the "late" one in every family and he was that exact person. He had his reasons though, For instance, at noon, he liked to have his tea and have cake. Not in any particular order. It was just the fact he had to have them and he was satisfied. Fifteen minutes after that, he took a nap in the trees themselves. See? Those are totally feasible reasons as to why one Saltorious Saljinnn "Sal" Senju was completely late for arriving. Saltorious was never in his name, of course. The male just liked the ring to it.
By being late, that meant he had missed the opportunity to receive such a prestigious honor at the Academy. Could he even call it that? He was just getting a headband, after all. He shrugged while walking down the halls, arms folded behind his head with a carefree attitude. When he had arrived at her door, he stood tall and gave one firm honest and earnest knock.
"Lady Hokage. Forgive me for the interruption, but I was informed to come here regarding Genin status"
He said it loudly, expressing his intentions, for either her or the guards to hear. He did not even word it plainly to say that he just wanted a headband. He had to talk the proper talk, right? Intruding by walking inside would have surely landed him in hot water, perhaps.
"So let's goooooiiiin. Like a ***** movieeee" Chet sang as he slow danced his towards the Hokage's office. The man wasn't really sure what she wanted to see him about. He was at a party when some shinobi ruined everything and told him he had to attend something. "Suck my ******** d**k" Was his response and now he would meet the Hokage with a split lip, black eye and a recently broken nose that he reset. The dried blood could still be seen. That didn't dampen his mood though. Not much really did. That's why reality sucked. Emotions varied. Bad trips some time ruined his high, but they weren't frequent. "Um sir." A ninja addressed Chet who was walking face first into a wall repeatedly. "Hold on. I'm busy. Gotta go talk to the big cheese." He replied with certainty completely unaware of what he was actually doing. "These new shinobi are gonna be the death of this village." The shinobi said with a sigh and left the crazed man. After about 5 minutes he realized he was walking into a wall. "Oh s**t." He said laughing at himself. At the corner of his eye he saw another young looking shinobi from his academy walking somewhere. His head said "Follow the boy. Then take his cheese. All of it." Chet followed the soon to be gennin and watched him announce himself. After he was done, Chet announced himself "I TOO!" He burped cutting himself off. "I TOO WAS INFORMED! OF THINGS!" He would proceed to trip on nothing and fall flat on his face. Seemingly asleep.

The young male would make his way through the streets after leaving his house, saying goodbye to the empty structure as a formality and a somewhat ritual habit.. Yesterday he graduated from the academy and decided it best to get started right away and head to see the Hokage about getting his headband and becoming an official Genin. Walking up to the big building Raichi would give a lax wave to the Jounin guards out front as he made his way inside and up the stairs, coming to a hallway before entering the office, finding a spot beside the others. He would say what he had come here for, but it was kind of obvious so he didn't bother, but instead waited his turn. "Ahem." Raichi would make the noise as he raised his hand to his mouth to cover his cough before letting it fall to chest level where he crossed his arms over each other as he leaned against the wall.

Taka appeared in her chair in a small puff of smoke, curtesy of a reverse summoning sigil she placed years ago in the room. Her fingers needed the armrests as she frowned at the chair briefly. She then proceeded to watch the stumbling nin quietly. She knew the two of them were here for their headbands. Most were when they showed up. She pulled a small pad of paper to her when the one face planted and seemed to fall asleep. She wrote three words on the paper, underlined it and stowed it as a note for the future.
"Take these headbands and go get your training up to date. Theres a meeting tomorrow in the academy at 2:30 you need to attend. Its about to get very busy around here." She said, tossing them both the headbands. One would clatter across the floor next to the one that had fallen.

The clatter of Chet's headband make his head twitch and eyes open. Looking up at what would join him for many years to come the boy didn't know what quite to say. For the first time in a while even his drunken stupor couldn't make him say something random. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY IT'S YA BOI'S HEADBAAAAAND LET'S GOOOOO!" Or maybe it still could. Getting himself on his feet the newly made gennin picked up the tossed headband and tied it to his pants to leave it hanging. He didn't pay too much attention to what the Hokage said after though. Something about the academy and a schedule. he wasn't very good with schedules. "Aye miss Hokage thanks a lot you won't regret it!" He announced before running off. In the distance you could hear a woman yell. Someone smacked her a**. "WOOHOO!"
Brief and to the point were the Hokage's words. Raichi found some sort of elegance in their simplicity. With a deadline as soon as tomorrow, the young Senju male didn't have time to waste. He plucked a headband from the air and gave a quick nod of understanding before turning on the ball of his heel and leaving. [exit]

The monotonous task he had come for was now at hand. The headband, he was granted, alongside two others. They had already left, though he himself took the time to register in his mind that something of importance was taking place on the morrow. There would be time for fraternizing later. This was of the utmost importance. The male wrapped the headband around his arm. He would get the adjustments to have it around his waist for a later time.
"Understood. I will begin right away."

Taka had finally finished her paperwork and stretched her arms in an effort to wake up her muscles. With her eyes shut and the monotony of the task she managed to spill a bottle of ink dirrectly onto the stack. Her eyebrow twitched as she stood and moved on to her meeting. "Not now Ivi. You have s**t to do." she said as she left the room.

How did I even get here? The thought echoed around within his head, demanding reason and an answer to a question that -regardless of how much time he spent thinking- he didn't have an answer to. Yet as Rayne walked through the building the hokage resided in, he desperately wished he had an answer to his own question and a thousand others that always needed to be answered. Recognizing this wasn't the time however, he pushed the current thoughts from his mind in order to focus on the here and now. It wouldn't do him any good if he was caught day dreaming again.
In front of himself, he saw a female probably close to his own age enter the secretary's office. He thought he remembered them graduating together but it could have easily been someone else. Quickening his slow walk to a slight sprint, Rayne gasped as he tried to grasp the handle of the door before it closed in an attempt not to annoy whomever was behind. In his attempts, he ended up slamming his elbow into a passing wall, wincing slightly as he entered the room and turning it into a smile. "Good afternoon, I am present to retrieve my headband as instructed." Rayne gave a small bow to the secretary and held it shortly before straightening up and giving a small smile.
The secretary looked up towards him and spoke a few short words in a kindly fashion. The resulting sentence caused Rayne's smile to form a small 'o' shape as he realized the kage was not here at the moment, and rather in the academy. He laughed lightly, the sound of chimes filling the air with his natural melodic voice. "Sorry for the confusion but thank you so much for your assistance. Rayne gave another bow before heading to the academy

An older man dressed in very formal wear came up behind the younger girl. His face was older and had innumerable signs of wear as he slowly reached forward. He left a handband drop from his hand and dangle a half foot from her face. "The Hokage is currently away from her office madam. She would like for you to report to the academy for a briefing on an upcoming mission. It is most important." She older man said with a very friendly voice.

So this was the head chiefs building. Ciri imaged it would be more guard it at least possibly a little dark but this was a good touch one would assume. She came to a half reaching the door to this leaders office Hokage if she remembered right. Heterochromia eye's looking around the lobby Ciri winked at the secretary before taking a seat to pull out her book and pen. She did this slowly of course the guard was still watching her so to keep him from questioning her she made sure her actions had been done carefully. .

Inara walked into the office building, as always, gathering looks about her. She preferred to dress this way. One of the perks of civilization as opposed to living in a ship was that men looked, and only looked, and unlike in Kirigakure, she felt there was no need to hide her Jiongu stitches, they contrasted well with her skin, and the bright red color of her clothing pulled people’s attention away from them and on to her body as a whole. The second thing people noticed weren’t the stitches, but her piercing green-pink eyes. A Jiongu trademark. “I seek an audience with the Hokage.” She declared impatiently. A change of wardrobe might have affected how she perceived herself, and how others did as well, but there were parts of herself that would never change, regardless of how much she changed on the outside, or on the insides. Hearts could come and go, she realized; the body was nothing but a shell, what mattered was her mind. Her mind was intact, she had managed to escape from the clutches of what was a budding police state in Kiri before it changed her, permanently. Just as the construction had come to a halt, she took her moment to escape. The information she had on Kiri’s infrastructure might prove to be an excellent, if not outdated. Jack had proven to be a secretive one mixing and matching her plans with his own, the finish product wasn’t nearly as aesthetic as she had in mind, but it was practical, and if he was to have been believed, it was dangerous. But she wasn’t to play her hand all at once. What she knew of the regime was her trump card, but she knew little about the politics of the shinobi villages, so she would have to tread carefully. She knew even less about this new Hokage. She had heard whispers as she sailed that Konoha had fallen to lawlessness in recent years, but its distance from the sea had kept it safe from her father. In Kiri, she played a stealth game. Here, she would do no such thing. She would lay herself bare; the last Mizukage had killed her father, the current one had turned her architectural creation into an abomination, Jack had fooled her with images of greatness, a city in the waves, of a place she could call home, but the restrictions he had set upon her, upon the society at large were to much for her to, in good will, bear. For that, the most logical thing for her to do was seek the liberation of the village. Deliver onto death the tyrant Jack, and all of those that dare defend him.
“I have some information that may be of use to the Hokage.” She added, as she waited for one of the ANBU to do something. She had spent around a month in the village, hiding among the locals, scavenging for food, hunting, coming and going, essentially scouting the village to see if it was a right fit for her; this would be the last test that Konohagakure would have to pass to be worthy of her. The Hokage would have to prove that she was up to speed to handling Inara, and more importantly, she would have to prove to have the capacity to be useful to the pirate.
Today was the day where it would all change. Sora walked through the doors into the Hokage office like he was told. Today, a young man would be starting the adventure of his life unto the path of greatness. The path of a Shinobi. Sora, like everyone else from his class, were ready to take on the world by taking their next step by becoming Genin. As he made his way up the stairs, Sora thought to himself, 'Okay, stay calm... stay calm... Ah! I'm so excited!.'The boy shook himself and used both hands to slap his face multiple times to regain focus. 'Okay, okay, okay. Let's do this..' He said as he made it up the stairs, pushing through the doors to the Hokage's office.
