Suffice to say, Sal was not interested in chasing invisible chickens. His objectives were a little bit different as he rode upon the male's back. The truth was that they were running further away from the fight, which is what he wanted rather than to get directly close. How did all of this have an effect on range? Those were the questions needing to be asked, not a tragic goose chase after a Hen that Sal simply never saw in the first place. Oga had some kind of mindset though. He wanted to observe the field as well. His mind simply wanted a chicken though.
Sumika and the others were observing the tech and other specs. His goal was determining what would be effective means to containing the situation if it got full scale and judging by the fact the forest was now igniting, it was going full scale. From the situations their Hokage faced among the past, Sal truly believed that if they were to go out on such a situation, they would be able to handle themselves better. Some of them at least. There were a few uncounted inconsistencies, from Chet to the obvious chicken chaser, Oga. Surely, teamwork was the key element to this situation, though. He smacked Oga's forehead with his fan before jumping off the fleeting male.

"The aura is a barrier system that each one of them have in their armor. This is the primary issue with fighting uhv soldiers. Their technology allows them to operate against us with far less training and still be potentially lethal. The key to breaking a grunt level soldiers barrier is a simple jutsu of any kind. But you need to follow up on the strike to get around their shield. My first order to all of you when you are fighting against these guys. I dont want you to play fair. I want you to eliminate them with as much impunity as you can muster. Two people hitting a soldier makes these guys drop like flies. That being said, their higher ups are typically tougher. That however tends to be more customized to the officer in question. Effects that stay active in the field tend to do very well." She said, moving through each question as usual. She had a small smirk on her face after a brief silence passed. She was feeling pretty good all things considered.
"I never actually looked at the metal in their kunai. I imagine it is a chakra reactive steel however. If you can effect their armor I expect to hear about it in your report. Let me know your findings. Ill make sure that you are equipped before you are sent into the field." She told sumika. She smiled at sal, trying to wrangle in some troublemakers. It helped in all honesty. She turned to observe her encounter further.
Taka formed her seals once more, as they turned to fire on her again. These guys were starting to irritate her at this point. She was breathing heavy and wanted to make things seem she was running out of steam. That jutsu potency was pumped through the roof. Oh well, she still had one more for this set of genjutsu. As they went to fire, she formed a single seal once more and stepped on the branch hard enough to snap it. When she was seemingly off balance the kunai would seem to strike her repeatedly and drop her into the forest floor. In all actuality she would slip behind the tree trunk and drop to the floor set a short sprint away from where her 'body' would have been. She made sure she was hidden enough so that she wouldn't be seen if they decided to check their corners. She put one of her fans away, but kept the other at the ready, having a plan for one of them. She wanted one hand available for what she had planned to do. She needed to get to her team as well, but from the sounds deeper in the forest, they were giving them hell as well.
The soldier made a dangerous mistake in his roll. Cats pounced and they did so very well, over several yards for the larger ones. Shade however just jumped quickly to the left as the rifle pointed at him, the burst of kunai would simply miss cleanly to the right. The earth kunai should be a bit slower, and with Shade looking right at him, he knew better by now to not be in front of the hole in the front of that weapon. He swiped his paw out at the mans leg when he went to roll and would let the jutsu do the rest since the man advanced. Soon after the fire jutsu did its thing and the flames disappeared, the nearly 350 pounds of koshi would slam onto his back and start tearing into the mans neckline at the weak points of the armor; the joints and any skin that was available. The killing blow would likely come from the several inch long canine teeth severing his spinal chord. If the man was up and moving before the jutsu was done, then shade would join the fray, and they would both proceed to rip the man in two.
The remaining clone of Luna's began running toward the soldier drawing the two kunai, the last two targets in sight. Luna would still be after the vip and as she flanked farther around to avoid the blasts of heat that these soldiers were throwing away, she would split into several more clones! Another three for the fray. Why not, they were cost efficient and she would soon have her own pride of hunters to bring down her pray, all with a hive mind! Everyone knows hiveminds are awesome. She simply ducked and weaved around the long way, closing in on the vip that she had sighted while the new clones closed on the main threats, Luna taking to the brush and stalking her prey at a much faster rather than lions in the wild would be able to do.
Luna's remaining clone that was moving toward the soldier with the two kunai, sparked a few times then would seemingly transform into a lightning bolt, plowing straight into the chest of the target. Now the nice additional side effect of being a clone with this kind of attack is the nasuea just caused it to dispell itself, on the way out of the soldier as time slowed down while in this jutsu. Now decent shocks when you were outside of a target would translate into a nice large dose of electricity when one was still partially inside a target. Heres hoping he just died and his armor didnt completely short circut and roast him alive. Either way, he had an additional lion coming after him when the clones circled around the long way, that's sole purpose in life was to crush the windpipe of the stunned soldier from the previous clones lightning transformation.
Luna's new clones were belting it after the bombs went off. The target was going to try his disappearing trick again, so one of them jumped in the air and let loose a large grid of pretty much invisible static. It growled in response as it prowled around the place looking for its target, sniffing the air as the other clones were milling about the foliage at this point. Their target was the two remaining soldiers. One was likely dead at this point, the other was a matter of finding him, and they had just the jutsu to do it.

Success! They had indeed scored a direct hit! The tree behind where they had hit the target had indeed started to catch fire as well, seeing the body start to burn to a crisp. The road side soldier spoke over the radio to the other, and he stayed in position as the other went to go and check the body, moving from tree to tree, while covering his different angles of attack. As the road side soldier covered the deep forest soldier, his chakra lenses caught onto something rather peculiar for their incident. "Yeti Zero-Two, i have another signature not far from you location. Keep your eyes peeled and your weapon hot, and run if i tell you too." The soldier checking the body spoke back. "Understood Yeti Zero-One. The body seems to be a confirmed kill. Do we have another combatant in the area?" He kept his wits about him, and kept his weapon shouldered on the offset chance he needed it....
Not much could have been said for the soldier facing shade. The fire jutsu moved in, and with the wind jutsu, he was pretty much struck down where he stood. When the lions pounced, their would be no armor nor weapon, just a dead man that they could play with like a big oversize mouse.
Those inside the forest would ahve a much different scenario to have to handle with. The sheer mass of explosives launched at the lion and their clones would almost insure total annihilation, each of the scorch weapons causing a 20m explosion of mummifying heat per weapon, and the water ones causing a massive suppressive concussive 10m blast of water, the clones were all but decimated, and luna would find that a true "flanking vector" on this massive explosion to be non existent. Luna would have seconds (i suggest you take them, and use something big) to have a plan, or she too would be obliterated. He plan had better be a god one, as the combined explosion was capable of defeating S ranked techniques.
The ground had a large crater in it, as petrified and shattered trees fell down to the ground, splinters and shrapnel every the man runnign with the kukri had managed a little distance, but even this was not enough. the shockwave lifted him and threw him a good 5-6 feet, with a large log snacking him in the back. He hit the ground hard, moaning and groaning as he was slow to even get to his knees, his world dizzy and disoriented.
(Totally forgot about this guy last time, no cost to you) The VIP was running, and at the sound of the explosion tripped and fell over a rock, hitting the ground hard on his knee. The fat b*****d rolled over, clutching it slightly as he hissed in pain for a good several seconds, like a joke that had gone on for too long that wasnt funny anymore. He would slowly get to his feet, and attempt to hobble as best he could. For what it was worth, he was not getting anywhere quickly. where was he going? ******** thought it wasn't going to take effect for a moment. But there was the soldier sitting about ten feet in front of her examining a patch of dirt that would represent her body. They kept blocking her attacks when they cost her a decent chunk of chakra, but the low cost ones kept getting through. She moved slow, drawing a wafer kunai from her boot and chucked it at the soldier that was checking the 'body'. The knife would move end over end through the air, and with a heavy thud it would impact between the mans shoulder blades. If the kunai wasnt stopped by anything, the hit would be lethal and the thin kunai was excellent at penetrating armor types. At the same moment that she threw the kunai, Taka drew a large folding shuriken, and tossed it at the mans overwatch. The shuriken was moving chest left, and fast through the brush cutting small bits of debris from the forest as it went. Taka had formed handseals the moment it threw and would step out still in cover from the man checking the body by the tree. She looked at the other and inhaled a deep breath in a feint as she held the emergency seal, focusing on that shuriken.
Koshi and Shae were no longer in danger so Shade would drag the mans body into cover. Koshi meanwhile would move left and start towards the vip area. The explosion from whatever was just used shook the forest as he went wide and picked up the speed.
Luna would be forced to pull back, nothing she had capable of defending against an attack of this magnitude, She picked a clear path and would shunshin out of the way, waiting for the smoke and debris to clear before renewing her assault. She briefly saw Koshi through the smoke and flying leaves, working along the left flank. She wasnt going to let Him get to her target first. She stepped forward and moved in on the man laying on the ground, going up into the trees once more once the blast had cleared.
_____ Overwatch recognized the movements of the tenketsu immediately and swore under his breath. While the wafer kunai would hit with a heavy thud between the soldiers shoulder blades (try saying that 5 times fast), but without a technique, material, nor design to penetrate the armor, a loud metalic clink and ringing could be heard as "forest" soldier was knocked off balance with the kunai stuck in his armor. He would allow the momentum to carry him to a near by tree where he would take cover from a continued onslaught. "Where is she Zero-One!" Meanwhile over watch performed a perfect evasive roll to avoid the incoming shuriken, finding himself right behind a tree for additional cover. "Stay down Zero-Two! Get ready!" Immediately after the roll, Overwatch unleashed a spray of 20 fire laced kunai for the moving Taka. "Forest's" weapon began to hum.
The knocked over man got to his feet, but was still a little shaken. Realizing the ******** lions had passed him, he too took off running to chase them down, kukri in hand.
The VIP hobbled his way through, hearing the alert from the forest man that the lions were inbound fast. Afraid, he drew his own hidden knife and gave his best attempt to hobble faster. With the lions soon to engage, he knew that he would have one shot.....
_____ Taka used her final replacement as the feint got her to be fired on. She stepped two paces left as she triggered the replacement, having the other soldier, although prone to be in the line of fire as she disappeared. The large shuriken would be spinning there before it bit into the ground and stayed there, immobile with points up. Taka was now a few feet behind the overwatch soldier. Stepping into her attack, she quickly punched out using what training she had in taijutsu. She aimed for the mans helmet with her fist. Normally this would be a rather s**t tactic but she had cause to do so. The impact on the outer helmet would be almost insignificant but his brain would be shaken on the impact. Concussion and possible knockout from the simple attack. Not to mention it had the possibility to disrupt the mans electronics inside the helmet. But her target was deeper than that so it was quite a long shot. Meanwhile her other hand was free and watching for his moments to draw a melee weapon or bring his firearm to bear. The moment it did she would move to redirect his attacks safely away from her. She ended the stike in her cat stance as she moved into the hunter role for this engagement. She had a goal now that was personal. She would get her damn information one way or another. Either way, she was in good cover with this man now.
Shade moved off to the left side, waiting for the other soldier. His job was simple. He delay, trapped or killed the targets while the others focused on keeping taka supported. He was the crafty brute of the little ground. As such, he let out a low growl and kept his eyes on the soldier moving towards the three as he breathed a small mote of flame onto the ground. This, if timed properly, would intercept and capture the remaining soldier to be disposed of properly. (
Koshi was moving in line with luna. The two would pincer the vip. Koshi inhaled deeply and would fire a blast of wind at the vip's chest, compacted to crush his ribcage and make him unable to retaliate to the killing blow. (Kaze
Luna would meanwhile be aiming herself at the vip. She let out a brief roar and her mane would elongate as she got close enough to the vip. Her main could surround the man as the explosion of wind cleared and would harden into spikes, covering the entirety of his body. _____
When overwatch witnessed the tenketsu suddenly dissappear, his brain hardly had time to process the "********" before he was suddenly hit from behind. Now, although the strike was precise and seemingly effective, the battle hardened armored warrior had taken way worse punishment then that technique was gonna hurt him, and thus he was easily able to adjust and bounce back in. This ninja was going to have a rough time today it seemed.
Turning on a dime, the soldier would perform a fast and fluid combination that a great deal of training had brought about. "Overwatch" would unleash a powerful backfist aimed for the chin of ivi, although it could also serve to move an outstretched limb, while at the same time brought his other hand around for a hook punch aimed for her floating rib that if struck would cause a great deal of pain and shock. whipping back with the "Backfist" hand, the soldier unleashed a powerful open hand slap/palm strike for the ear that would, if land, collapse around the ear/head and offer a control pont. With this combination making each technique as fast and as powerful as the first, the soldier would use this close distance, and flaying of limbs, to grasp her head and perform a violent twisting motion with his hands and body while moving his feet, aiming to either snap the neck of the young ninja or take her down to the ground...where control would be much easier.
Forest would swear as he heard a thunk come through the communication system, and then have a visual on the ninja engaging Zero-One. Shouldering his humming weapon, the soldier then began to make his approach close by moving from tree to tree, cover to cover. Zero-One could handle himself. It was best to lay and wait.
The forest man didnt stop as the fire surrounded him and kept charging, busting through the fire prison as his green blue aura appeared around him, offering him a whole through. Now close to the lion (shade) he took his kukri and performed a set of violently quick strikes, knowing that if he gave the damn lion a chance then his life would end anyways. The first attack would be a fast inward outward slash aimed for the nose/eyes of the beast. then picking up speed the soldier performed three fast fast attacks with the weapon, a stab for the mane of the lion where he assumed an artery would be, one for between the eyes/single eye, and then the last one would be in inside swipe designed to cut into the underside of the animals car, hopefully causing a great injury that would cause the mouth to be unable to close.
appearing out of nowhere close to koshi, the stealthed soldier would burst forward with his kukri drawn, aiming to place a fast kurki stab for the neck/mane region of the lion, hoping to cause a great deal of damage and possibly eliminate another threat. At the same time, he would be aiming to gain control of the beast by being on its back. But it seemed he was too late....
the wind torpedo knocked the VIP into the air, and the ending porcupine style attack of luna caused the man to be impaled in one of the worst possibly kinds of methods. The VIP was dead, and now the protection detail was seeking revenge....

Taka was ready for the swings and responded by drawing her fans and gently tossing them into the air, the fans opening as she moved backwards and away by several feet spinning elegantly as she moved, dodging the opening blow. She would catch both her fans by the tips of their blades. She kept the step going as she moved away from him, easily far enough to avoid the other strikes in her dance. Her fans however were both released headed straight for his face at a exceedingly dangerous pace. She seriously doubted that the face was tempered steel so the fans should bite straight into his head, breaking the glass visor and end this annoying situation.
Koshi had a similar problem but it wasn't like it was unexpected. One of the soldiers had been going in and out of stealth and taking potshots at his pride. He had been dying to make a move, though didnt entirely expect him to pop up right then. Though when he did, Koshi snarled at him, and the winds kicked up around him, easily pushing the man back and away, right into Luna's attack vector.
Luna snarled at the man appearing out of nowhere. her hair lengthened, blood dripping from the strands as it moved to surround the man before enveloping him. She had ten meters of range and wasn't that far away from the guy to begin with. She surrounded his back and the hair would bite his upper body and curling around him like a serpent, before hardening and skewering through the soft places in his armor. The eyes, face and other exposed places on him.
Shade was the one that looked like it was smiling. He saw the chakra aura flare and crouched low to the ground, his chest rumbling as he aimed at the incoming soldier with the weapon. Less than a second later he breathed a torrent of fire capable of supposedly melting boulders in a forceful stream at the man. He was hoping it would be a effective deterrent to the attacks if it didn't outright kill the enemy. He moved back while pouring this torrent onto his target. If the soldier moved, the fire would move to stay on him, unless he did something that would get him out of the rather sizable range. At the same moment that he began running at Shade, the prison would emit a stream of fire as well, adding to the heat and making it impossible to breathe at the epicenter.

The ninja had moved out of reach of his fast combo. Annoyed, but aware the soldier brought his hand sup in a defensive posture as she moved away from him. as the blades came in, he simple used his training, and some hard core steel arm guards and years of training to defend against the bad a** attack. Rolling to the side to grab his weapon, he opened just enough space for Forest to do his thing. Overlook would get behind a tree, pop out a scroll, and roload.
Forest, almost a moment before over watch was clear, unleashed a massive torrent of kunai at a very high fire rate and a very fast velocity, hoping to see his velocity increased wind kunai tear through this bitches body. He stayed at his present location, hoping she would at least get to see her killer.
The stealth specialist would be uplifted, though not as much as Koshi would have assumed, but by then it didnt matter. The nail hair would wrap around him, and the spikes would kill him.
Unable to avoid, he was burned to a freaking crisp!!!!! although if inspected, their was only flesh, and no armor. _____
Taka caught her fan and went low to the ground as the person brought his weapon up. She was belly down in the grass and rolling behind the cover of the tree to avoid the attacks, before getting upright again. She drew 4 normal shuriken and did a swat turn around a tree loosing them, aiming for a specific point. The attack would look very much harmless as their armor had stopped her weapons before. She was aiming for the devices that had been exploding around her and making her dodge left and right since the beginning of the fight. She had a shuriken curving toward the loop of metal that was pulled out just before a throw. The force and curve in the flight path of the shuriken would force one of the pins out of the grenades and hopefully detonate one of them. From her cover she formed a few seals and turned, firing a beam of water through the trees and sweeping it chest level around the targets cover. The beam she had seen cut through rock from pretty decent range so it should cut through the wood and have enough impact to trigger their shielding. She had a small plan but hopefully one that would work. As the trunks would likely be severed through, Taka jumped high and kicked off of the tree into another grouping of them, putting the force behind her jump to push the tree in their direction and have it come crashing toward them both in this particular attack. She would take cover in the denser trees while looking around the trunk to see what kind of impact it would have on them.
Meanwhile all three lions would be dragging the bodies back toward taka.
The memory would start to fade as the encounter drew to a close, the academy slowly coming back into focus as Ivilice ended both of her genjutsu. Taka was standing instead of sitting in her chakra like she was previously. The watchers in the academy were rubbing their eyes for a brief moment, then went back to their jobs. She looked around waiting for any further questions on the encounter. She blew a bubble, clear, and allowed it to form into a clone which left the building.

United Hidden Villages. Just hearing that made his skin crawl. He'd died there. Twice. His legacy had failed him and left all he had sought in ruin. He felt the urge to spit, but didn't. Normal jerkoffs who didn't like chakra. Whatever. They all burned the same. Taka had wanted to show them a memory, and his mind went to Tsukuyomi, that jutsu he didn't know about here, but he'd heard she was from some other clan, so he doubted that's what it was. He didn't see a projector either, so it had to be some knock off, which was fine by him. He just slouched deeper in his chair. They were at no risk of awakening their Sharingan? That was the point, lady. Bring an illusion on. Apparently they fought with no honor, which is what he did, but apparently had enough honor to not use firearms, so he had that part of his life taken away from him.
Sure as s**t, there were questions abound, and his crafted persona had none, because Jesus it was just an easy way to relay information, and she wasn't about to send out a bunch of clearly hungover Genin for whatever recon she wanted them to do. Shut up already. The interesting part was that they used chakra, but if they were being as bad as he was led to believe in school, a simple argument with them they were utilizing the very thing they hated wasn't going to fly, telling him before the illusion even began they'd do whatever they had to to win. Fine by him.
So began the illusion, and now there were lots of trees, Kanzaki experiencing a taxing on his mind and patience. How awful it must be to not control the dilation of time while even in the genjutsu. He was pretty sure his relaxed form was going to wake up in a few minutes, but still. This fight had better be good. A good number of ladies and germs in a formation, which to him was shite. It was obvious on the outside, so they couldn't have been as stupid to have who they were escorting in the center. He stood off the beaten path watching, making sure to kinda wander off from the rest of his class while doing so. Without warning they all bolted, confirming that it was no feint, and their VIPs were totally the peeps that had been in the center, Taka and her lions engaging, running all off and about. He kept his focus on Taka and- s**t was she watching? Did she know he'd been drinking, or that he was paying really close attention to the UHV Sergeants? s**t. Thankfully for him, she rattled on what he'd more or less gathered as things developed. The 'screens' that showed up only confirmed it. He'd yawn and come back into the open near the middle of Taka's engagement, laying down on his side with his back to the others, as if sleeping. His head was on the ground, but an eye was open, flitting back and forth between the multiple battles.
Thanks to exposition, these guys were well on their way to being SPARTAN IIs if given enough time to advance their technology. They had a low level shield, could communicate verbally over longer distances, some kind of chakra scanner, and it looked liked some sort of stored Kai within their gear. The launchers were cool and obvs loaded with chakra weapons, because last he checked it'd take a cannon to do to a human being what some of those knives were doing. Things seemed to drag on in the fight, more aces coming out of sleeves than anyone had any right to have, especially for continuing an engagement as one sided as this. The Unified Hidden Villages were easily distracted, so they were even bad at soldiering. A decent enough ninja was comparable to a platoon of regular gooks, and this one had four lions.
Thankfully the drab encounter started to blur away, like falling asleep after breathing in too much nitrous oxide (it was a dentist appointment.) Kanzaki snored as his true senses came to him, throwing all his chips into his 'I was asleep the whole time' ruse. He'd snort again shortly, yawning and sitting up in his chair, stretching his arms above his head."What I miss?"Maybe Taka knew he was lying. He kinda hoped she did, as long as the Genin didn't. He'd taken a gamble on showing some kind of leadership potential by directing the others, even if only half of them listened. At least, that was his plan. The reluctant leader, the sleeper badass.

The Naomi present within the genjutsu continued to seemingly just observe the events without doing much of anything else. After all her presence was really just for show since Naomi's mind was currently within the other genjutsu that Taka had cast. Within that one she'd been given the memories of the events and more. So she'd be just as as informed as any of the others and the fake didn't really need to actually do anything.
Once they were all pulled back to reality Naomi was suddenly aware that she was rather sweaty, and that in a certain place innaprops for gaia she was rather damp. Like Katrina kinda damp. There was also an awareness of a dull pain upon her hip where a special seal had been placed though it wasn't something she could use just yet. However it marked her and would serve her well in the future. Those bright purple eyes of hers looked to Taka with a big red blush as her mind started to readjust to reality. Seemed like Kanzaki was continuing to be a clown, and she had no recollection of her brother's animosity or of Oga's chicken chasing. All in all this was a pretty interesting morning and it was probably only going to get more interesting. Though after seeing everything she did, the girl was glad that they'd have more time to train before being sent off on a mission. She had a lot more to learn now.
One question lingered on her mind but she doubted Taka knew the answer. After all only another sensor nin could know such a thing. So that one would have to be discovered on the battlefield. Though many things would assuredly be discovered there as well. Mostly the true character each of these rookie genin possessed. That would be interesting to see though personally Naomi deeply feared letting everyone else down. She didn't really know if she had it in her to kill but she knew that such feelings could get her new friends hurt or worse. Though she did have one question on her mind that perhaps Taka could answer. "Pardon me Lady Hokage, but um... will we be put into squads together or are we filling holes in other squads?"

While the announcement rang out over the loudspeakers, Yasu who at the time, was relaxing upon the roof of the building rolled off the side and landed with a light thump. Pulling his hood and silk mask down he rolled his shoulders letting his armor fall back into place. Pushing open the door he wandered through the building for a few moments looking for the Hokage, taking in the scenery as he went. The most interesting thing, to him, was the way the building's atmosphere had changed. When he had gone through the academy it was happy and peaceful. Now, it was militant and the increased number of gennin gave away more to him then he liked. Whatever was going down since he had left was going to cost lives one way or another.
Eventually he found the room he was looking for and upon making his way in he noticed the somewhat large number of gennin, none of which he recognized though. Making his way towards Taka he made a mental note of each of the gennin in the room. More then likely they were likely going to have something to with why he had been summoned alongside Choumei. Even now he was trying to remember just how long it had been since he had seen his former squad leader and friend. Would he even recognize her? Would she recognize him? Weather he wanted to admit it or not he had changed in more then just physicality.
While it was true he genuinely looked forward to seeing his friend he was more interested in where Kirumi had gotten off to. Ever since he got back he hadnt been able to find hide nor hair of her. Frankly he was starting to get worried that she had gotten into something she shouldn't have, or had made the mistake of coming after him. Letting out a small sigh Yasu took a knee in front of Taka dipping his head quickly before rising back to his feet,"You called?"
So much s**t went on in front of Chet's face the junky started having a god damn panic attack with all the lights and explosions and lions. The gennin would get out of the bush he thought he was hiding in and run away from what ever the hell was going on. "******** that s**t bruuuuuuuuh!" He shouted running deep into the woods. Now the interesting part of this was the fact that he was inside the memories of someone else and was traversing into terroitory that was not in fact registered in her mind. So after running for about a minute the lone gennin found himself stranded in a world of white. "Yooooooooo." His lone yo echoed into the void. At that point everyone was already out of the genjutsu, but the boy never actually went into it so much as just merged with it. Now that the genjutsu was officially canceled he was no longer bound by the laws of the Hokage's memories and so the world of white he was stuck in slowly began to form things out of his own head. "Oh what?" He asked when out of nowhere the Hokage's lions popped up. Many things were racing through his mind. None of which were appropriate for the situation he found himself in. One of those thoughts was about whether or not he should pick up the rabbit stuck in the cloud. He didn't know what that meant, but by God it made sense to him. Then the lions started racing towards him with the blood lust of a...Well a lion. Chet's eyes widened when he realized what was coming at him and he immediately turned around to run. Except now a tall brick wall was in his way.
To those watching him they would just see a man clawing at the air pleading to God for mercy and that he would no longer kick stray cats in the gut anymore. When the lions finally did make it to him he would fall to the ground screaming in agony while a small puppy licked his face.
Eyes fluttered between screens and what she saw before her eyes, the memory of an absolute slaughter. Shinobi were the bane of any army of untrained individual: one could ring mass destruction, bend the minds of the masses, or even take a full battalion down with their fists and weapon alone. Ivilice seemed to be determined to do all three, and that was awe inspiring for Kya. She chose to focus her abilities on that of the weapon, and genjutsu so it was honestly surprising for her to see someone weilding all three. Her questions were no longer curiosity and moreso semantics and things she would eventually learn on her own: such as the genjutsu she was witnessing. Either way, when the illusion ended it was not hard for Kya to re-acclimate. She flared her nostrils, fluttered delicately maintained eyelashes to clear her sensory systems of any lingering grog. A shake of her head and the blurry, fuzzy world came back into clarity. She sat up, adjusting her gunbai on her lap, likely the first to be back to one hundred percent due to her own aptitude with genjutsu. Naomi's voice broke a somewhat pondering Kya, whose mind was extrapolating many possibilities at once. Squads were something she had wondered about absent mindedly during training, mostly subconsciously however since they were busy training like good soldiers.
Taka entered the room and her eyes fell on him as he passed her, perhaps a few seconds longer than a glance, but quite as long as an ogle either. She flickered her dark, almost empty eyes from his face to his armor. She took in his demeanor, how he seemed to take time to memorize everyone in the room without regarding any single one of them. He interested her, clearly. If and when he looked at her (likely sinec he was memorizing all faces,) she would smirk and look back to Taka, speaking plainly. "Hokage-dono... do we have a location on any sort of supply lines, or a depot they use to move their equipment? If we can disrupt that, or maybe steal some stuff we could both cripple their forces and maybe bolster our own."

Giving a deep sigh of annoyance Nobuyuki walked into the training fields behind the Academy, though he saw no one actually training which was a good thing mostly because he didn’t want to have to avoid being hit by accident due to a stray jutsu. With a soft sigh he sat in the open fields and closed his eyes, imagining a time when things were just fine. It all part of this training regimen he was giving himself. He was going to build up his chakra pool by meditating and calming his own aura for the time being. By doing this, he could tap into hidden possibilities, or so a banner said outside the academy when he was younger by a year. he didn’t know if it would actually work, but he knew he would just have to try. It was more of a curiosity sake sort of situation is the reason he did it. he knew that the possibility of it working were a bit of a stretch, but he didn’t doubt that it would work. After all, why would people put up a banner if something wasn’t possible?
Drifting from the reality he was in previously he felt himself land in a pool of a bright blue water. The surrounding area was pitch black and to not be seen. It was just him in this pool of water that seemed to give him confidence and strength. The pool he was in began to grow larger until he found himself in a pond instead of a pool. It was both amazing and horrifying at the same time. he didn’t know which emotion he really wanted to feel right now.
Nobuyuki couldn't help but find this pool to be larger and larger every second he looked around. The water grew brighter every time he looked into it as well. Eventually he couldn’t bring himself to look at it because it appeared to be bottomless. Nothing but water as far as the eye could see. From what he could gather this wasn't a pool of water, instead being comprised entirely of his chakra. If this giant pool was his chakra, then he would probably never run out, or so he was beginning to feel, his confidence grew by the minute in this pool. Once he was tired of sitting in the pool, the world around him began to crumble. he awoke from his meditation still sitting on the grass, his boredom slightly relieved. Nobuyuki stood up and dusted himself off and prepared for his next moment of training. he knew it wouldn’t be too long though, not like this.
Thankfully he knew what the next set of chakra training exercises, he was hoping to complete as many of these exercises as possible to be of any help to his squad. With that goal in mind he inhaled softly, before exhaling lazily as he thought about how to release chakra. Most of his chakra would naturally come from his mouth, something that naturally happened as a result of him taking up smoking during his training trip. It didn’t really bother him though, he knew better than to ponder these complicated concepts. It would only end up causing him to get riled up, which wouldn't be good for anyone in the end. And so with that thought in mind, he decided to begin his training. Closing his eyes he exhaled a large amount of chakra through his mouth.
Nobuyuki continued releasing chakra from his system. Over and over he did this until he was practically almost out of it. It wasn’t easy but somehow he managed to do this. It was all part of what needed to be done. This is what he kept telling himself anyways. It was sort of a way of getting himself through this pesky process. Finally finished with such an annoying exercise Nobuyuki couldn't help but lay back on the grass behind him, reaching into his coat to retrieve a small box of pocky from his pocket, bringing one up to his lips before munching on it quietly. The repetitive motion of chewing on it soothing him slightly as he looked up at the sky, though the taste also helped quite a bit. .
Sumika was busy waving her hand through anyone that came near, just because it jacked up the whole illusion of reality portrayed by the genjutsu - and she was kinda bored. Without any detailed information to go along with it, Sumika didn't have the necessary information to continue her exploratory escapades. It was all fascinating on the surface, but paper thin and as such unable to hold her attention. "AWE! I was messing with that!" She protested loudly to no one in particular as the lion she was busy sticking an arm through disappeared with its gory cargo. A profoundly exaggerated grumpy face settled in on cherubic features. It didn't last long as Naomi began talking about squads and Konoha's rambunctious little ball of energy sprang into action. "Dibs!" She shouted, bounding across the room to pounce onto Naomi's shoulders. "Naomi's on my team!" The shy Senju would likely find her younger classmate a might bit heavier than expected, thanks to an entire kunai set's worth of iron sand stuffed into her ill fitting flack jacket - which promptly began leaking out all over the place.

食 Chōumei was a ways away from the Academy and getting a feel for her new armor she'd purchased to better suit the newer styles of combat she'd been delving into when the announcement came over the villages speakers. Yasu-chinnnsss~ HOME!!!, was the first thought that came over her mind as she'd been wondering and slightly worrying over the well being of her childhood friend. Chōumei took that frustration and tried to place it all into her shrine work and shinobi training but it was all just a distraction from how much she really missed the old team especially since Kirumi-chan went on a hiatus. Chōumei responded to the call with a wide grin and an audible, " KAMI-SAMA BE PRAISED!", Before doing a few stretches and arching her body into a runners starting position.
Taking a deep breath and mindfully controlling the flow of chakra in her body she'd take a dip into one of the jutsu she'd mastered while Yasuhiro was away. Her body would suddenly loose a bit of mass from the energy she'd need to control the jutsu but just as quickly butterfly like wings made of brilliant bright tangerine hued chakra would extend from her shoulder-blades appearing to be composed of flames wrapped in jolts of wild electrical sparks. once fully formed Chōumei would take off in a sprint that really only took her a few steps in motion but the lack of effort her body needed to simply push past a miles distance in the matter of a second or a second and a half was miraculous let alone how well she was able to moving around the streets until she was in direct collision coarse with the Academy. Just a plume of errant dust and a bright light would seem to beam through the entrance of the Dojo if Yasuhiro hadn't bothered to close it, or a light would creep from the seams in the doorway as Chōumei woudl burst through in a sudden BANG. The brown toned kunoichi would summersault into the air in a blur as she'd come to a land just as her wings would seem to fade from her back as flickering flames and embers.
"Oooo~SU! Chōumei Sue Akamichi Reporting in for duty Lady Hokage! ", Coming to land just beside Yasuhiro and in a kneeling position to bow in respect to Taka's position as the Kage Chōumeiwould then pop back up to her feet as if there were a spring under her leaving the ground by a foot and landing a bit off tot he side on her left leg nudging into Yasuhiro just to show as lightly as she could how happy she was to see him back. A beaming grin was on the woman's face when looking over at her kage and her friend,/the token boy of her team, Nihongo. Glancing over her shoulder she'd note the new faces, and would give a bit more of a serious expression in regard to them (note: expression in face-claim), but that would be broken with a smile not really telling what exactly she found worth smiling about in regard to the Genin.

• Walking Contradiction: Chōsu has oddly no trouble when it comes to performing genjutsu, contradicting and overriding her clans normal weakness in this area, and all ninjutsu and genjutsu slots are compounded into genjutsu, yet learning genjutsu does take one [1] more post for her than others. (not conflicting with buki discipline b/c she "would of" had them)
• Prodigious Martial-Artist!: Chōsu has a large and curvy build and flexible physical shape that allows her to learn and practice most any(soft or hard) Buki or Tai-jutsu style rigorous or not with just one [1] slot. Provided her curvy physique has the benefit of mass for hard-style, and springy flexibility for soft-style. (though purely light-weight styles are restricted when heavy) Yet this is a taxing task in terms of the time it takes to learn these Jutsu increasing learning requirements by one [1] post.

And just like that watching the memories faded away, he was back in the academy. All the new genin started talking to the Hokage and some other shinobi showed up. Kisuke sat up and called Fang with a whistled. Kisuke didn't go towards the Hokage or the new shinobi that appeared. Lest he be caught up in the talk about team assignments. He slipped out the back quietly, this area was behind the training grounds inside. He leaped on some posts as he turned back towards. As the dirt turned to grass underneath him Kisuke turned back to fang."Hey buddy, I'm hungry lets do some ramen?"Fang nodded and howled in agreement as Kisuke leaped from a post to a tree. Looking down he saw a older man laying on the grass below him. Kisuke just looked at him for a second as he flew over head into the tree's and towards Ichiraku Ramen. Maybe he would be subliminally hungry from the talk of food.

Speaking Thinking
Kichiro watched the rest of the illusion with moderate interest, more amazed with the vividness of the genjutsu than the actual content. He thanked his Goddess briefly as the illusion came to a close, looking around the reappeared academy. There were a few more students inside than there had been before. It was a jarring reminder than reality still moved during the memories he was subjected to. There were higher ranked (or so he thought) ninja kneeling in front of the Hokage's companion. Everyone was beginning to ask about what was happening next, so he crossed his arms and waited for the answers. He hoped he could count on whoever he was working with.
Before Naomi could get answers about things her friend Sumika had returned to consciousness and at the mention of teams had brought the wrath of mischief down upon the poor Senju. The sudden shift in weight took the small girl by surprise and sent her crashing to the floor with a small thud. "Uwaaa! Crawling out from the underneath the girl with no small amount of effort she sighed with a hint a pain before turning to face the younger girl. "It's nice to see you too Umi-chan.... but couldn't you have just said hello?" Meanwhile all the moving around made the girl painfully aware of the fact that she felt the need to change into some drier underwear quite badly so with that in mind she applied a small bit of chakra to rapidly morph her cells into wood as a copy of herself split away from the front side of her body. The wood clone offered a hand to Sumika to help her up while the real body looked to Taka. "Please forgive my rudeness Lady Hokage but I have some personal things to attend to. This copy will fill me in on anything that occurs." Obviously Taka would know full well what those things were since she had caused them. With that the real Naomi bowed to Taka, then to the two newcomers before taking leave of the room while the clone stayed behind.
Fortunately she didn't have to go far, Naomi had always kept a change of clothes within the girl's locker room and since they'd graduated so recently she hadn't actually emptied hers out yet. In a matter of minutes she got changed while the clone gathered information at the briefing. Now at this point she could have returned to the briefing in person but rather than do so the girl figured that she could use this opportunity to train some more since so long as she remained in the area her clone could continue to feed info back to her. With that in mind she headed out to the training grounds to review some basic techniques from three of the disciplines she was familiar with.
Doton in particular had a few basic jutsu that could be really useful to her out in the field. This first one allowed to essentially use sand in place of an eye to gather intelligence by forming a so called third eye out of sand. The vision of this third eye was linked via chakra back to her own eye though giving a sort of floating eye camera. Forming a singular handseal she used some nearby sand in the dirt to create this eye then with a spare hand covered her own eye. Having practiced this sort of simple trick in the academy it wasn't too hard to get the hang of it. [Daisan no Me][Learn a Jutsu!]
Next on this review training session was would a handy trick for a sensor nin like herself. By using earth nature chakra she could essentially "swim" through the ground. Not only did this provide for stealth but it could also be helpful in avoiding certain attacks. Concentrating on her chakra for a brief moment before jumping into the ground Naomi found it quite simple to perform this trick. It would hopefully come in handy during or before battle. Finally she wanted to review a simple technique that caused the ground to move as it were a conveyor belt. Placing her hands upon the ground she simple fed a little chakra to it and then wham it started to move forward in a thin line. It was simple enough, and from what she remembered it was actually slightly stronger than back in her academy days. Perhaps it got stronger as she did? Things to keep note of the future it seemed. Something that bugged Naomi when it came to her suiton techs was that some techs required preexisting bodies of water to utilize. Sadly such things weren't always available. To avail that gap in her abilities she set about working a more basic manipulation of her water element. In this training she first worked on pulling moisture out of the air to seemingly create water, but also spent time learning to pressurize and boil said water as well. In the end she'd have to continue this kind of training to improve upon these skills but this was good enough for now. [Mizu Soujuu]
This next trick probably worked better on naughty pets or non shinobi but she never knew when it might take someone by surprise. By simply manipulating some water or sweat upon the hand a water shinobi could flick that liquid into an opponents eyes so that their vision was hindered. Practicing this move several times caused Naomi to soon become bored of it as it was rather simple to practice. Her aim seemed pretty good and getting the required liquid was a snap so this was pretty much in the bag. [Mizu no Waruasobi]
Following up on her review of basics was another simple trick of manipulating water. By manipulating the water with her chakra she could easily turn it into a reflective mirror like surface. Doing so would allow to accomplish things like peering around corners or looking behind herself. This kind of thing was only useful in a handful of situations but it'd be nice to have within her arsenal. So with that in mind she continued to practice it for a while. [Mizu Kagami no Jutsu]
After that training another handy jutsu to review was one often used by her classmates for an advanced version of tag. Simply explained one would just shoot a small jet of water from their mouth to create a projectile. As a playful thing it was simply used for tag but with enough force it could easily stun somebody. Naomi practiced the technique for several minutes while she worked on the force and speed. Eventually she got those components down and worked on firing several shots off in succession. In the end she felt quite satisfied with her work and moved on. [Uo Tsuba]
With those elemental ninjutsu techs out of the way Naomi had some room to learn a few more basic medical techniques. First up was a technique which involved creating threads on chakra to stitch severed flesh back together. This jutsu was designed to be rather simple and barely took much concentration to perform compared to other medical jutsu techniques that she knew. After several minutes of review, she decided that it was time to move on to something else. [Genshi]
This next technique was also simple in premise but hard to master. She remembered reading about during her earlier training sessions and knew that it might come in handy. By using this ability she could not only transfer energy to another being but then forcible circulate that energy. That way she could keep someone from dying, even if their very essence was ripped from their own body. She'd practice building up the necessary concentrations of chakra for a while before moving on to something else. [Gien to Kairan]
Following that up was a useful after battle technique which could help to keep a squad functioning. By applying some careful pressure and a little chakra Naomi would be able to do wonders for her comrades' ability to rest and regain their strength. Appearing in a swirl of water, Nobuyuki allowed his piercing gold eyes to shift to the side, looking towards his younger brother off to the side of the building. Shaking his head, the black-haired Senju opted to deal with that later, instead wanting to train his basic Ninjutsu aside from the Mokuton techniques he'd learned earlier. It was better to have many techniques excluding his bloodline, versus just relying on his bloodline like many Hyuuga and Uchiha do. Cracking his neck he walked towards the wall of scrolls, retrieving the one that listed a large amount of Suiton techniques. Smiling to himself he slipped the scroll into his pocket, walking towards the back of the building; pushing open the doors that lead to the large clearing behind the Academy. Approaching the pond before him Nobuyuki let out a sigh before he stripped his torso of any clothing. The techniques he would be learning involved a large amount of water, so he didn't want his shirt and Jacket to be ruined with water, whereas his pants were easily replaceable. Walking towards the pond before him Nobuyuki stepped in the water, plunging to the depths of the water in an instant. Channeling chakra through his mouth and lunges, allowing him to slowly filter the oxygen that was within the water. It was an easy enough technique, one that he easily mastered after but a moment of practice. Pushing off the bottom of the pond Nobuyuki emerged from the water, pulling himself onto the land once more before grabbing the scroll from his jacket pocket.
The next Jutsu he wanted to learn was one that involved mist as opposed to water. It was another simple technique; allowing the user to see through heavy mist, steam, or anything else involving water in the air. It was a simple enough thing to test, so with that in mind Nobuyuki formed a single hand seal, watching as mist slowly began to crawl over the clearing; signifying the successful use of the Kirigakure no Jutsu. With that done he channeled chakra to his eyes, watching with a slight smile as the mist seemed to disappear from his sight, though he knew it was still there. Nodding to himself he dispelled the mist, returning to the scroll once more to find a new technique to learn. Deciding to learn the water prison technique next, Nobuyuki formed a hand seal; watching as a wood clone slowly formed next to him before going to stand atop the surface of water. Following after him the black-haired Chuunin let out a soft sigh, forming a string of hand seals before smiling as water slowly formed around the clone before trapping him completely in the liquid prison. Placing his hand against the orb Nobuyuki watched with a tilt of his head as it seemed to push through the water before remaining still, the water flowing around it slowly. Knowing the correct combination of techniques one could use following the water prison from his studying while younger, Nobuyuki formed a set of hand seals, channeling his chakra throughout his legs and into the water below, watching with a raised eyebrow as what seemed to be a large head made entirely out of water emerged from beneath the prison, razor sharp teeth at the ready to consume the clone. Giving the clone a sad look, pretending to sympathize with the construct, he allowed the mouth to consume it, watching as it dispelled; turning into dust before blowing away into the wind.
Letting the large water prison dispel, Nobuyuki watched as it slowly melted away, falling into the lake below it slowly. With that done he returned to the scroll, reading through it before finding another C-ranked technique he quite liked. It was called the Teppoudama, also known as Water Bullet; a basic technique that can be done by molding chakra within the mouth while also forming water using the moisture within the orifice. With that done the user forms orbs made of the liquid before launching them at the enemy in rapid succession. It was a low damaging technique, but could be used so quickly; something that was always useful when in a long drawn out fight. The ability to constantly harass the enemy with rapid firing bullets that while not crippling still did their fair share of damage to the human body. Channeling chakra throughout his lungs and mouth once more, molding it into a large ball of water. With that done he aimed towards one of the trees surrounding the clearing, releasing the bullet quickly, following this he formed another one within his mouth, shooting it off as well. Despite being rather chakra intensive for a normal person, it would be useful should he ever need to use them more than once.
Satisfied with the lower ranked techniques he learned, Nobuyuki decided it was time to move onto the more difficult ones...ones that his parents refused to teach him when he was younger, saying they were too dangerous for a child. Cracking a small smile at the thought of how it was back before his father when insane, the black-haired Senju returned to the scroll he'd taken, unfurling it before reading down to the B-ranked Suiton techniques. The first one he found appealing was one called Baku Suishouha, also known as the Bursting Water Collision Waves technique. It was a simple enough technique, one the involved forming a large amount of water within the stomach and mouth of the user, which they then release below them to form a large wave of water they can ride on. It was a useful technique when one was in need of a large volume of water, producing enough to adequately supply any water technique he would be using. Deciding he'd studied the scroll enough on the technique, Nobuyuki walked over to the edge of pond, blurring through a set of hand seals before slowly molding chakra deep within his stomach. Puffing his chest out Nobuyuki aimed towards the ground before expelling a large amount of water, easily pushing him into the air of the Academy. It was a disorienting thing to experience, having just been standing on the earth yet now standing atop a large wave of water. Jumping off the water he watched as it collapsed into the lake, pushing it slightly over the edge, but not enough to warrant any worry from him.
The next technique that peaked his interest was called Goshokuzame, or Five Sharks Eating. It was a technique that required the opponent to be either underneath the water or just in the water. By placing their hand atop the surface of water, the user is able to form five large sharks made entirely out of chakra underneath the surface. Despite the sharks only being able to attack once each before dispersing, it was a useful technique when fighting underwater. That combined with the Baku Suishouha he'd learned earlier would make for quite a deadly combination later one if he ever fought someone. Tossing the scroll over atop his jacket and shirt, Nobuyuki formed a set of hand seals, watching as five clones made of wood formed on either side of him. With that done he signaled for them to hop into the water and go underneath it. When they finally did that he walked forward, blurring through the required hand seals he channeled chakra into the palm of his hand before kneeling down to place it face down against the water. Molding the chakra underneath the water into five large sharks, Nobuyuki watched silently as the sharks instantly swarmed to the clones he'd created. Within minutes they had the clones within their jaws, easily tearing through “Flesh and Bone” as most would say, though in reality it was merely wood. After they consumed the clones he released the technique, allowing the sharks to disperse from the water.
Noticing he missed a rather intriguing technique that was right above the Five Sharks Eating technique, Nobuyuki read through it quietly; his eyes shifting quickly over the words as he absorbed the knowledge like a sponge. The technique was aptly named Doriru Suiyari no Jutsu, or Drilling Water Spears. It was done through making large drill shaped spears from underneath the water. These can be positioned around or even directly under the enemy. Using this same theory one can use it for defense, making the spears rise to pierce through flesh should the user try to engage in a Taijutsu fight, or stopping a projectile or blade from reaching the user. It was an incredibly useful technique to have in his arsenal of Ninjutsu. Stepping once more atop the large pond, Nobuyuki glanced down with a slightly grim look on his face. He was starting to feel the burn on his coils from exerting so much chakra at once, but despite this he'd push on to learn even more Jutsu. He scroll never specified a long set of hand seals, so naturally Nobuyuki experimented with a few shorter strings, eventually finding a combination that worked for him. Forming said hand seals he channeled chakra through his feet into the water, watching as large spears erupted from the liquid, ones that would have easily speared through anything that was attacking him. Nodding to himself he allowed the technique to disperse, the water splashing loudly as it did so.
Next up was a pure defensive technique, something he lacked rather badly. Despite Mokuton having the ability to form shields and cages, they were in the end made of wood; as such any fire techniques with enough strength could destroy them with ease. With that in mind he thought on the water based defense technique. It was named Suijinheki, or Water Encampment Wall; a technique that involves forming the required hand seals then blowing a large amount of water at the ground below the user. This water then began to act like a barrier, surging upwards to surround the user in an almost impenetrable wall. Naturally strong techniques that involved Lightning or Earth could break through it with ease, since water conducted electricity and had a hard time repelling Earth. The technique could also be used when an enemy shinobi is head on attacking the user, by shoving them away with the powerful jet of water. Such a thing would indeed be useful with his lack of current defensive techniques, so with that in mind he stepped forward; stopping in the middle of the small pond. With that done he blurred through a small set of hand seals, puffing his chest out before quickly aiming towards the ground to release a large jet of water directly atop the surface of water. Instantly the water jerked upwards, surrounding him in a huge circle of water, easily fifteen feet high. After holding the barrier for a moment he released it, allowing the water to collapse within the pond.
Moving on from the water encampment wall, was a technique called Suikoudan no Jutsu, or Water Shark Projectile Technique. Like the name suggested it involved forming the Suiton chakra into a large wave of water shaped into the form of a shark. Despite mostly being used for an offensive attack, it could also be used for a utility type Jutsu, allowing the user to ride it like a large surfboard; increasing the speed at which they move through the water immensely. With his limited amount of water he wouldn't have room to test that sadly, but he could definitely test the offensive aspect of it. With that in mind he formed a single clone next to him, signaling for it to go stand on the water. When the construct reached it's destination Nobuyuki blurred through a long set of hand seals before sending his chakra directly into the water in front of him. With that done he shaped the water into a large shark before sending it up towards his clone. It surged from the water like a normal shark attack, towering over the clone before it chomped down on it, dispelling it instantly. Shivering at the effectiveness of the technique Nobuyuki stepped back, looking through the scroll before deciding to learn the next projectile based technique. This one called Suiryuudan no Jutsu, or Water Dragon Projectile; a technique that involved an incredibly long sequence of hand seals, forming a huge dragon made entirely out of water. Shooting it towards the opponent was very dangerous to witness, considering the amount of momentum behind the attack. It could easily crush bones under the immense pressure, or potentially even rupturing internal organs upon contact. Making sure he memorized the hand seal sequence Nobuyuki stood atop the water, blurring through the handsigns before forcing a large amount of chakra into the water below him. After a moment of doing so he watched as a large dragon burst from the surface of the water, it was huge; towering over the clearing easily. Commanding it to attack the forest around him he watched as it shot forward, slamming into a tree quickly. It smashed through the tree with ease, bursting through it before reaching those behind it quickly. Blinking in slight shock at the amount of damage dealt, Nobuyuki released the technique, dropping to his knee in slight exhaustion before taking a deep breathe, sitting atop the water quietly.
Being the lazy b*****d that he was, Nobuyuki decided to lay back atop the water, pulling a cigarette from his mouth before lighting it and putting it between his lips. It would help him relax to begin working on more of his chakra training. He'd left the chakra training for after his Ninjutsu training, knowing it would take a good deal of time and effort for him to do properly. With that thought in mind he closed his eyes, flicking the cigarette from his mouth with his tongue. With that done he delved deep within himself, focusing on the core of his chakra just like he had on the monument. After a moment of focus he seemed to fall within the water below him, but in reality he'd just gone into his chakra core, or at least what he pictured it to be. A large ocean spanned before him, reaching far beyond what his eyes could see, continuing all around him. It was overwhelming to think he held so much energy within himself, but he knew it was to be expected coming from the family he did. Senju had always held large Chakra reserves, throughout all of history it had been so. On the outside he could feel his body going through the basic hand seals taught to them, while on the inside he could feel himself moving the chakra throughout his Tenketsu, speeding it up and slowing it down on a dime. It was a lot of work but he knew he would have to do it should he want to keep getting better at manipulating his chakra. For ten minutes he continued to form the hand seals and move the chakra about, before he stopped; feeling he'd done it enough.
Next was time to make sure he hadn't plugged any Tenketsu with his rapid use of Ninjutsu earlier. After firing off so many high-ranking, straining techniques. He'd always been taught as a child to do this, knowing what could happen should he leave a Tenketsu plugged without fixing it. It could damage his system, or even worse; cripple it forever without being able to repair them. That definitely was not something he wanted, so with that thought in mind he slowly began to manipulate the chakra to move throughout his Tenketsu, pushing through any small blockades that had formed. It was a painful process, forcing open the slightly closed points in his body. Grunting to himself he continued his work, going through half the nodes in his body as he did so. For what seemed to be ages he worked on unclogging any plugged Tenketsu, stopping at those that were painful to slowly work through it. During the process he silently began to think of how he never wished to face a Hyuuga head on. The thought of having all of his chakra nodes plugged with a simple jab of the finger wasn't the most appealing thing. With that in mind he got to the last bits of his Tenketsu, forcing them open all at once. Jerking upwards in pain Nobuyuki let out a small huff of breath, bringing his hand up to run through his hair slowly. Taking a deep breath he exhaled softly, standing up from his position atop the water.
Deciding to move on to the few lower ranking chakra suppressing techniques; the first one being the Wood Release: Foo Dog Heads, a relatively easy technique to perform in theory, however the issue with it being that it required being immobile to do anything of actual use. Placing the kanji for "sit" (座, suwaru) upon their hand the user then creates a series of wooden pillars, each having an engraving of what resembled food dog faces. Alongside this were lit wicks atop of them, with that done the user would slam their palm into the ground; resulting in the wooden pillars shooting forward towards the target before beginning to absorb their chakra. The original use for such a technique was to suppress Bijuu chakra when the Jinchuuriki begins to lose control of themselves. However as time passed Senju began to use the technique to absorb chakra from their targets to use as if it was their own. It was a good plan; taking their chakra away from them slowly, only to turn around and use it for yourself; against them during combat. Smiling to himself Nobuyuki sat down in a basic Indian style, it was the most comfortable and easiest way to sit aside from Seiza. After getting settled into said position Nobuyuki brought his hand up, palm facing the fence across from him; the suwaru Kanji slowly forming on his palm as he channeled chakra into it. With that done he channeled Mokuton chakra throughout his legs and into the earth; forcing five wooden pillars engraved with foo dog heads to form from the earth, each adorned with a lit wick atop it. With that done he slammed his palm into the ground; sending the pillars rushing forward as if an enemy was there for them to take the chakra. After doing this for a few more moments Nobuyuki stopped channeling his chakra into the pillars, watching as they slowly returned to the earth; the Kanji on his palm dissapearing along with them.
Satisfied with how the technique turned out Nobuyuki thought on what he was taught about the next restraining technique. It was a basic technique, merely called “Stocks” by his teachers and peers before he was banished from the clan. By forming two pillars with a stockade atop it the user locks their target within before using their Mokuton chakra to restrain the chakra flow throughout their body. It was used to restrain a single target without causing too much damage to them; allowing for an easy interrogation or just a questioning. Nodding to himself Nobuyuki blurred through a small set of handseals before slamming his hand; palm down into the ground. With that done he slowly formed a single set of stockades; two candle-like appendages on each end of the device, similar to the Foo Dog Heads technique he just learned. Channeling his chakra throughout the stockades he watched intently as they began to glow slightly, indicating that his chakra was even throughout the wood of the stockades. Placing his hand against it he smiled; feeling a warm, fuzzy feeling throughout his stomach; almost as if nature itself was attempting to calm his mind and body. Closing his eyes he embraced the feeling happily; remaining that way for a few moments before stepping back from the stockades, watching as they slowly returned to the earth. Deciding to take a break from his training, Nobuyuki walked over to one of the various trees surrounding the clearing, sitting down on the ground before leaning back against it.
Feeling he'd rested enough after the small training session, Nobuyuki stood up from the tree he was resting against; brushing his pants off before letting out a soft sigh. He still had quite a few of Senju techniques to learn before he was ready to move on to basic elemental techniques. With that in mind, Nobuyuki focused chakra into the molecules in his arm, watching as a small yet sharp piece of wood slowly pushed out from his skin. It was an extremely basic Mokuton technique by the name of Mokuton: Sashiki no Jutsu [ Wood Release: Cutting Technique ], used to form blade of sharp wood. Usually used by someone who can use Kenjutsu but lacks a blade due to it breaking or them losing it for some reason. Dropping the sharp blade to the ground Nobuyuki stared at it with a blank expression, watching it sink into the ground slightly before remaining stuck upright. "..." Nodding to himself the black-haired male decided to move on to the next E-ranked technique, this one named Wood Release: Wood Spikes Ring. He'd been told before that it was used to bind a target even further, by causing spikes of wood to form from the ground to point at the target. Nodding to himself Nobuyuki formed a single hand seal before placing his hands gently against the earth below him. Channeling his Mokuton chakra through the roots underneath the grass, he watched with a slightly satisfied smile as eight stakes made of wood shot up from the ground, curving inwards as if pointing towards a specified target.
Brushing his hair from eyes, Nobuyuki let out another sigh of annoyance, feeling his chakra drain slightly as he continued to train his techniques. Though he felt such a drain on his body, he pushed himself to continue training; knowing it would be fruitful to do so now that he has the peace and quiet required for him to focus. Next was the Moku Bunshin no Jutsu [ Wood Clone Technique ], a lower ranked version of the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [ Shadow Clone Technique ], which uses a large amount of chakra to produce solid clones that can be used for reconnaissance. The Moku Bunshin on the other hand was used with less of a chakra burden, while also being able to be used to track those down by forming them into seeds that you plant upon a person's body or even within their body, which can then be followed by the Senju. Forming the required hand seal Nobuyuki channeled chakra throughout his body, watching as a small branch of wood formed from his arm before extending outwards into a perfect clone of him, clothing and all. Nodding to the clone he watched it run about for a moment before withering away into nothingness when Nobuyuki commanded it to. After the Moku Bunshin was a basic technique called Wood Release: Threefolded Wood Shield. It was a technique used when under attack to form a small circular shield out of wood around the arm, almost like old shields Samurai used. Channeling chakra into his arm, the black-haired Senju watched as three sections of wood slowly formed before melding together to create a durable shield for him to wear.
Throwing the shield away with a sigh, Nobuyuki turned his attention to the remaining techniques he could remember from when he was taught about them. The next technique he could remember was the Wood Release: Underground Roots Technique, where the user channels their Mokuton chakra throughout the earth below to manipulate the roots to do their bidding. Anywhere from tripping the enemy to rising up to protect the user from an attack, or even to just bind an enemy when they are laying down. It was basic in concept, but he wasn't so sure it was as easy as it sounded when put in actual use. He'd soon figure out, forming the necessary hand seals for the technique Nobuyuki kneeled down, placing his hands palm down against the earth below him. Closing his eyes in concentration the black-haired man channeled his chakra throughout the roots below, willing them to move around and come out of the ground enough to be seen. Upon opening his eyes he gave a soft smile, seeing the wave of roots in front of him that just sat there, waiting for a command to be given. Willing them to return to the ground, Nobuyuki moved on to the next technique he could remember. It was called the Ki Eda no Jutsu [ Tree Limb Technique ], a technique that like the one he just learned used the roots to do things for him. However this one instead was capable of being used to form a small shield in front of him, or if needed a lance to pierce his enemies. Channeling chakra into his hands the Senju male placed his palms against the earth, channeling chakra into it before watching as five thick roots shot from the earth in front of him, forming a large wall of wood before his eyes.
Satisfied with the results of those two techniques, Nobuyuki decided to move on to the last three techniques he could remember off hand without referring to any of the books he'd been given by his mother. The first one was called Jukai Heki [ World of Trees Wall ], a technique that consisted of forming a large amount of wooden branches from the ground, that grow at quite a rapid rate before intertwining to form a large net made of wood. It was useful when protecting the user against Doton based techniques, and perhaps even low-ranking Katon, but aside from that Nobuyuki didn't see much of a use for the technique, but he would learn it just to complete all the ones he remembered his mother teaching him about. Forming the required hand seals for the technique, the Senju male channeled chakra throughout his feet and into the ground, pushing it outwards to reach the roots and earth in a specific radius around him. With that done he forced wood to begin to form underneath the surface. When he had a suitable amount he forced it upwards, causing it to shoot from the ground with an incredible force, ripping the dirt and grass apart as it did so. Watching as it twisted and turned to form a large net, Nobuyuki smiled happily to himself; glad that he was slowly fulfilling his promise to his mother to eventually master all the Senju techniques passed down through their family. Next up was the Mokuton: Mokusatsu Shibari no Jutsu [ Wood Release: Smothering Binding Technique ], a technique that transformed the user's arm into a tree that extends to wrap around the target, acting like either an immobilizing technique to just trap them within the branches, or a killing technique; where the user crushes them slowly and painfully within the branches. Nodding to himself, Nobuyuki formed a hand seal, channeling chakra throughout his right arm.
Watching with a sick interest as his skin and muscle seemed to ripple before morphing into a large formation of roots and branches. Shivering in disgust he let the technique fade, watching the tree turn back into his own arm. "...Disgusting.." His voice was deep, rumbling within his chest as he spoke. Shaking his head Nobuyuki focused on the last technique he could remember at the moment. The Mokuton: Henge [ Wood Release: Transformation ] it was exactly like the normal Henge, except for the fact that it would be solid, and possible to leave it behind should he need to. It would also allow him to change his voice to match the appearance, something that would be incredibly useful when on a scouting mission. Forming the basic hand seals needed Nobuyuki channeled chakra throughout his body, looking forward as wood slowly began to form around him. It seemed to crawl up his body before engulfing him completely, almost like a second skin. Within seconds he held the appearance of a random civilian he'd seen on his way to the Academy. Letting the technique end, he watched as the wood disseminated before his eyes, turning into ash before blowing away in the wind. Satisfied with the amount of training he'd done, Nobuyuki walked inside of the academy, taking a look at the people in it before reaching up to place another piece of pocky in his mouth to munch on.
[ Techniques Learned ] Mokuton: Sashiki no Jutsu [ Wood Release: Cutting Technique ] Rank E A versatile technique where the user can produce sharp wooden spikes from their body to either fashion short-range weapons akin to a makeshift sword, or else use them as long-range projectiles, where the branches' growth can be triggered remotely, skewering the enemy as a result.
Wood Release: Wood Spikes Ring Rank E The user creates a semi-circle of wood around a captured target, and then forms spikes within the ring, pointing at the target, preventing them from making any sudden movements.
Moku Bunshin no Jutsu [ Wood Clone Technique ] Rank D A clone that is created by using chakra to alter the user's own cells into vegetation. The clones can be as simple in function as a wooden dummy for use in the Body Replacement Technique or completely mobile and able to perform techniques.[4] They have the ability to travel far from the user and are able to communicate with the original. Moreover, since the wood clone has the ability to merge with plants and trees, it is also great for reconnaissance missions.[5] By directly touching the wood clone with his hand, the user can absorb the information it gathered and change the shape of the clone.[6] Unlike the Shadow Clone Technique, the wood clone doesn't disappear when hit and even appears to take the damage. This, according to Madara Uchiha, makes it the perfect clone technique that only he, with his dōjutsu, was able to see through. If a wood clone is changed into a seed and ingested into the body or left on a target, it can be used as a transmission device of sorts. The user can use these to track their target as the seeds respond to their chakra only. ( Each additional clone beyond the first costs [15] chakra to make. Each clone is able to be given their own chakra pool through donation during creation. )

Wood Release: Underground Roots Technique Rank D Using the Wood Release, a user can manipulate the terrain, bringing out underground roots of varying sizes to fit various offensive situations, such as using the roots for trickery, misdirection and restriction. One can also use a large scale version, bringing out massive roots over a larger area that tangle around each other with such force that any one caught in-between is violently crushed to death. ( The Tajū version is treated as A-ranked )
Ki Eda no Jutsu [ Tree Limb Technique ] Rank C The user summons forth five thick tree roots from the ground. These roots can then be used to shelter, shield, or impale, depending on the user's whim. Unfortunately, they don't stretch too far.
Jukai Heki [ World of Trees Wall ] Rank C The user creates countless wooden branches that grow at high speed from the ground. The wood interlaces to form a wide, net-like wall with an impressive defensive power.

Mokuton: Henge [ Wood Release: Transformation ] Rank C This jutsu is just like any other Transformation Technique. The user performs the necessary hand seals, then wood emerges and covers his entire body and a puff of smoke or chakra covers up the transformation. Once the jutsu is done, the transformation is complete. It acts more like a costume than a transformation, as the user is able to leave it behind if necessary. He also demonstrates the ability to adjust his voice while using this technique.
Mokuton: Daijurin no Jutsu [ Wood Release: Great Forest Technique ] Rank B A technique that changes one's own arm into big trees. Using chakra, the tissues are transformed into trees at the cellular level. Then, by activating the trees, stimulating them to grow rapidly, they lengthen at high speed and fork into many branches. It is possible to capture the enemy with these branches and at the same time, if one changes the ends into sharp stakes, turn them into countless, sharp, spear-like piercing weapons. This technique has also been used to break through stone walls. When a small hole is found the tree will squeeze in the hole and grow into a square shape and increase the size of the hole so a human can pass through.
Mokuton: Shichūka no Jutsu [ Wood Release: Four-Pillar House Technique ] Rank B By sending chakra into the ground, the roots of the plants are converted into raw materials. This technique allows for a building to be constructed, by forcing accelerated growth. Just like with the Four-Pillar Prison Technique, the size and shape of the building are taken from the user's imagination or memories. By placing tags around the house, the user creates a barrier, making it impossible for the enemy to detect it and allowing the user to "camp" in peace.
Mokuton: Jubaku Eiso [ Wood Release: Tree Bind Flourishing Burial ] Rank B This technique lets the user summon a tree to slowly wrap and bind their opponent. This technique is relatively powerful and holds opponents much more gracefully, with less of a strain on the user, because the user sinks them into the ground. Afterwards, the user can enclose the opponent so that their body implodes. This technique requires some preparation as Yamato first had to crush the earth and then add water before this technique could be used. ( 1 post of preparation time needed )
Wood Release: Foo Dog Heads Rank B A technique used to absorb a tailed beast's chakra. The user produces the "sit" (座, suwaru) kanji on their palm and creates a series of wooden pillars, which are engraved with what resemble foo dog faces and have lit wicks on top of them. When the user slams their palm on the ground, the wooden statues rush towards the target and absorbs its chakra. ( Deactivates demonic chakra & tailed beast chakra not being emitted from the original owner, and absorbs it as normal chakra for the user to use )
Wood Release: Stocks Rank B Yamato uses wooden stocks to suppress the targets chakra with his Wood Release. There are also two candle-like appendages on each end of the device similar to the technique Yamato used during Naruto's training. (Foo Dog Heads) In the anime, the stocks were illustrated with metal rings. ( Prevents B-ranked and under chakra usage while in the stocks )

Taka had a knowing smile plastered about her face. She would have laughed audibly if she knew it wasnt so embarrassing for the woman. She nodded to the girl in a quick dismissal before turning to her two officers. "Alright guys, drop the formalities. Choumei and Yasu. My two best. Im restructuring squads and we are getting ready for all out war with the uhv. I need you guys to get these guys ready and up to speed with everything as quickly as you can. Their lives are going to be in your hands. And I expect them to all make it back.
Yasu, you will be watching over squad one and two. The members are as follows, with 3 to each squad. You will be over; Oga Same, Naomi Senju, Ophelia Nara, Chet Oni, Saljinn Senju, and Kya Senkei Aomine. You will be taking them under your wing and teaching them to the best of your capacity. In addition to this, Naiomi in particular I will be tutoring in genjutsu when she has spare time and has agreed to take my mark. This is considered classified aside from anyone within ear shot at this moment. You should know what this means.
Choumei you will be also taking 2 squads worth of genin. Your genin are as follows. Raichi Umemiya Senju, Flora Belecos, Sora Ushio, Kanzaki-no-Kami Uchiha, Ichiryu Senju, and Kichiro Tanaka. I dont have any special orders for your group. They will be handling the uhv at large. The rest is to be figured out in time. I want both your teams to gear up for recon missions. Take the next day or two to familiarize yourself and your platoons with how each other operate. I will let you know when you are able to depart. I want you to be discreet with this. Use your homes if necessary to get everyone together out of sight of foreign eyes.
I cannot guarentee that our infrastructure hasnt been co opted since the uhv arrived. They could have a disturbing amount of intel on us. its been a long time since theyve showed their hand in fire country. Lets make this all successful. NO casualties on our platoons. You are not to engage the uhv unless they engage you. At that point, you are to eliminate and leave no traces of those soldiers or yourselves at the scenes. If anyone falls, you recover them.
