Though I frequently RP in them, I'm not one for various shounen based guilds (Naruto, Bleach, etc.)
This is partially because I feel part of the fantasy aspect can dilute creativity in some ways. Using illusions and super-speed kinda make things too easy. I'm also a more physical style roleplayer, because I like fighting sports. So my characters tend to have a more realistic physical background. Thus influencing my decision to make this guild all physical.
My guild is called Holyland, slightly based off a manga with the same. It's basically a guild where you fight on the streets for notoriety and control. Pretty mundane but here's where it veers off... everything you do will have a consequence there's no Ramboing it here. If you get cut and don't receive treatment you will bleed to death. Fights will be based on tactics, actual physical ability, and realism (is what you did actually possible). No shunpo, no death auras and fireballs, just pure beatdowns and possibly some psychological warfare. It'll be stat based but there won't be a word count or anything like that and the stats will be pretty simple. I'm going for quality here. I'm also trying to implement a stamina system. You can't just fight forever after all. I'm debating as to whether or not I should throw in a timing system (as in day and night time).
This is just a simple rundown of what I have in my head. It'll be simple but complex system. For people tired of the same old thing,
