Hey, I didn't want to make a whole new post on this, so I figuered this would be the best place to post it. Did anyone know what breed Sui (Steve's dog) was.
I was just making another vid for Pit Bulls, and found out Steve's dog was a Staforshire Bull Terrier mix. (one of the breeds classified under the term "Pit Bull")
I remember watching Steve wrestle a croc, and Sui would bark and snap and try to keep the croc's attention away from him, and yet, if he had gone to say Ontario in Canada, his dog would have been seized and destroyed (ok, well I think Sui died before the province wide ban, but I think Denver and some other city, forget the name, had laws in place agaisnt Pit Bulls for years) Now in Australia, American Pit Bull Terriers are banned, the breed shares the same ancestry as Steve's beloved Sui. I wish Steve was still alive to help fight this disguting law.

Actually I don't tend to use Steve as an example of "look, not only bad people own Pit Bulls", because a lot of the general public just think he was insane- every time I bring up Sui, someone just says, "Well, he wrestled crocodiles and petted poisonous snakes! Of COURSE he had one of those dogs!!"

Savage Destiny Actually I don't tend to use Steve as an example of "look, not only bad people own Pit Bulls", because a lot of the general public just think he was insane- every time I bring up Sui, someone just says, "Well, he wrestled crocodiles and petted poisonous snakes! Of COURSE he had one of those dogs!!" This is true, but a lot of animal loving people, who look up to Steve, have misconseptions about Pit Bulls. So I tend to throw him in to the pile of famous people who own Pit Bulls. But mostly, because so many people like me, watched his shows, thought highly of Sui, and never realized what breed Sui was.

I always knew she was some sort of Staffy Bull mix, but then again I'm one of those crazy Pit Bull people. rofl Well, I might have difficulty differentiating a staffy from an amstaff or a APTB, but I can usualy spot any Pit Bull type dog right away. But I only got involved with Pit Bulls around 2 years ago. So, by that time Sui had passed on, and so it never dawned on me.
