I absolutely adore both of them, but I prefer Edward for Bella. Jacob would be a nice choice if she had never met Edward, or wanted to stay human. He is a jerk sometimes, but he could also take care of her nearly as well as Edward.
I've always wanted to read The Host, and am waiting impatiently for my friend to finish it so I can borrow it. 3nodding

I like edward more then jacob, I actually know a guy who acts like jacob. We both are usually ready to kill each other. plus I normally perfur vampires over werewolves. xp

well i live in forks actyally and i think that they should be fimling it here in forks rather than in portland oregon, they aren't even going to film the lapush beaches, but i love the series

Edward is indeed a first choice of who I want Bella with.
But then again I also like Jacob. xD
Sure, there are things he does that piss me off but Edward does stuff like that as well. : /

bullterrierlove Froggy5657 I thought edward was the best for the whole series I never really liked jacob He's always over emotional! He knows that Bella will never leave Edward (i just started the 4th and heres a spoiler helping me explain ---> even though bella and edward got married he still needs to be possesive and crap) Sometimes he's okay but most of the time he's really annoying!! + Jacob just jumps in and is tearing things apart sad

I have read all of the series and I believe it turned out for the best. I have dated both Edward and Jacob types and it is definitely easier going out with someone that doesnt act so super emotional as Jacob. But I also have some issues with too much devotion. Anyone up for a Edward/Jacob fusion?
I say: Jacob's height, humor, sense of danger, and longer hair. Edward's smile, eyes, wit, and patience.

I LOOOOVE Edward Cullen.
He is simply awesomesexycoolness embodied. I sound like a total noob, but that's how I feel. heart
I felt sorry for Jacob. I really felt his pain even though I was always Team Edward. I don't think he's over-emotional. I mean he really loves her and it must be really hard to know that she'll never love him back.
I read Breaking dawn but don't worry, no spoilers here if you havn't finished it. I enjoyed it though.
We only got it here in australia on August 4th. I myself got it the next day.
Edwards protectiveness is one of his best qualities, as well as his DAZZLINGNESS. But just his patience and kindness, and being such a gentleman just really endear him even more in my eyes.
End of pointless post.

What's Midnight Sun? Is it another book? Someone before mentioned it.
Breaking Dawn, I thought was awsome. One of my friends said it was pure fanfiction though... *shrugs*
I like Edward, Jacob, Japser, and Emmet. Emmet would be the best big brother ever.
