I'm fond of Mr. Gosling myself as he was also quite good in Stay.

I really liked that movie. He did a really good job of playing high functioning autistic, and the concept and execution of it were charming.

I don't think he was autistic in the movie. Why do you think he was?

It wasn't stated, but the touch sensitivity, dislike of people changing the position of objects and routines, and social awkwardness made me wonder if that's what they were aiming for. To me he read like someone on the spectrum, either hfa or PDD.

His brother and his brother's wife were hilarious! Their reactions were funny yet real.

I totally agree, I loved his brother.

I loved the wife, eventhough I found the brothers character a bit more believable. But I looked at the wife and saw my mom and myself in her a bit. eventhough she was completely taken aback by it and unsure, she excepted it (not full heartedly) and supported him.

I've heard really good things about this movie.
My best friend reccomened it, and he's not much a movie person, so I'm dying to see it. biggrin
