This is absolutely true.

Quite often a ninja will attack his or her target with such stupefying quickness that they actually get there and kill their victims BEFORE it actually happens thus defeating causality and their target dies with no apparent cause. not only does this create continuity errors in martial arts films (this explains a lot actually) but it harms the space time continuum when they break down the relationship between cause and effect.
