They all have they're problems, if u go 2 a private school check it out first cuz some r fun & sum suck, then homeschool u have ur parents there the whole time & that can get boring pretty fast cuz a parents authority is way different than a teachers and my old public school tlly rocked, but my new 1 is like a prison we even have cops patroling.

I think it VERY much depends on the individual child (and school/home.) There are kids who turn out anti-social in home school situations. There are others who thrive and excel. Some students do better in an environment of competition like a private school. Some need the social experience of a public school. There is NOT one right answer for every kid.
OBVIOUSLY if the school in your area is SCARY, well, NO child is going to do well if their LIFE is in danger. That's just nuts. I went to public school, but we never had cops or metal detectors... never needed them. But I have substitute taught in schools like that. I teach in a private institute mostly now. I have also seen parents who had NO place educating a mouse much less a kid. Some use the EXCUSE of "home schooling" as a way to keep kids out of school and not teach them at all... just let them be home for chores, or indoctrinate them or whatever.
BUT there are examples of stellar people out of ALL of those methods, so clearly they work... for different students. It just depends.

I completely agree with Kipluck, it all depends on the individual. Seeing that I've done all three, I'm going to say for me, public school is the best.

I've been in all three as well. I would most likely do better at home-schooling if my Mom (bless her heart and I love her) were a little smarter. I hated the privet school, but that was because it was a catholic privet school and I am agnostic. Been in a total of 13 public schools and some are good, some are bad, and same I will never want to set foot in again.

in my opinion public school is better becaus eyou learn to deal with many more situations than you would in a private or homeschool. plus you meet all sorts of different people. but for me i think that i would have turned out a much happier person if i had been homeschooled. publec school made me a very cold and cynical adult XP
