Also, as for the Rohan statement above...the best song/part in the trilogy is when Billy Boyd sings to Denethor (I probably spelled his name wrong). It was hauntingly beautiful, and I love that part!

(side-note) I can never consider Two Towers the best because of the brutal rape of Faramir's character by Peter Jackson. The entire point of Faramir is to be the exact opposite of Boromir (sp?), but in the movie he is simply the same as his brother... domokun

Omg when Billy Boyd opened his mouth to sing I was expecting this horrible sound to come out, I was so shocked by his beautiful voice though...Omg. everytime that scene comes up I cry so hard. the song is so beautiful, I also love Gulloms Song. So great.

Anyways My favorite soundtrack/scores would have to be

Dustbrothers- Fight Club

Mark Isham - Crash (seriously, Crash had the most haunting emotional music I've ever heard)

Tyler Bates- 300 score

Michael Andrews- Donnie Darko score

Spawn the Album- Horrible movie, great soundtrack

Chicago soundtrack (Cath has an amazing voice!)

and the Queen Of the Damned Soundtrack.



Oh and I almost forgot. From the beginning of the third Season of Battlestar Gulactica, They play this beautiful song sung in armenian called A distant Sadness. so amazing. And the Battlestar Sonatica. Beautiful piano piece there.

From the many movies I've seen, the soundtracks that I like the most are:

Melody (1971), cool music by The BeeGees

Grease (197 cool , most songs hit the top of the charts that year

The Breakfast Club (1984), includes the song "Don't You (Forget About Me)", by Simple Minds

Footlose (1984), features top hits by various artists

The Wedding Singer (1985), every song is awesome

Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989), excellent music by various artists

Ghost (1990), includes the song Unchained Melody by The Righteous Brothers

Forrest Gump (1994), great songs from the 60s and 70s

Meet The Robinsons (2007), includes a very good tune by Rob Thomas, "Little Wonders"

I loved that movie and soundtrack! I still don't have the movie, but bought the soundtrack for 10 bucks at Virgin.

Another one I love is the Team America: World Police soundtrack. Trey Parker is awesomely funny!

I love the Chicago soundtrack along with Lion King, and Moulin Rouge.
