Simplistic-Tyranny Okay Okay Okaaaaaaaaaaay.
I have to get my two cents in right nooooooow.
Tamaki - Yes, Yes, yes, I said Vic Mignogna would nail it and he did. I'm just giddy. I love his high-class attitude and mannerisms.
Kyouya - I'm not entirely used to J. Michael Tatum as my favorite, but it does work. If you forgot, Matsukaze Masaya had a deep voice when he did Kyouya in the sub version. It's only natural that English!Kyouya had the same deep voice.
Twins - HECK YES. I am -bows down in glory- omg yes. Todd and Greg are EPIC FREAKING WIN. They sound similar, but show the differences well. The only draw back I had was that they're off time when speaking their lines together.
Honey - omg so cute.
Mori - With the only line he spoke in episode two, I couldn't help but say that I heard Roy Mustang in that one line. ^^;
Haruhi - I'm actually pretty pleased with Caitlin. I didn't know her voice could go that deep, and it really convinced me that Haruhi was to portray a boy.
Kristine Sa's Version of Sakura Kiss - ........Ew. Justin Houston's version of Shissou - Vic's was better.
I can't wait for my boxset now. I'm stoked.
I agree with you completely. Especially with Vic's version of Shissou. I honestly don't think the dub is that bad.... I can see that others here do, but I really think that it is tons better than most dubs out there. Lol, except for the opening and closing. It's not perfect, but it's decently done. No matter what they do, they aren't going to please everyone though.

Kibby47 Cloudtania Kibby47 My boyfriend watched it last night and thought that they should have stuck with the Japanese opening and ending songs. I agree with him. As do I. Is it just me or is it that whenever the songs start, their voices sound kinda shaky? I agree with that. Its not just you.

evilHerbivore Guess I'll throw my opinions in here. I thought it was a lot better than it could have been, and I lot better than I was afraid it was going to be. Vic did a pretty good job, considering the enormous kingly shoes he had to fill. His voice didn't sound like Ed to me, oddly enough; it sounded more like Femio from Princess Tutu to me. Not that that's a bad thing. The OP and ED songs should probably have been left in Japanese. I saw no real reason to dub them, and the results sound like my younger siblings sang them (not a compliment). But I thought the script seems fairly well done so far. I had been wondering how Haruhi using "ore" would translate, and this turned out okay. Mori only had one line. crying
I pretty much agree with you on everything. I watched Princess Tutu, but I don't remember who Femio is... Lol. Who is he?? I will have to go check it out and see if he sounds like that. After hearing Vic as Tamaki the first time, I thought it sounded kind of like him. But now that I watched them for a second time, I don't think it sounds as much like him anymore. I don't know, maybe I'm just getting used to it. xd Oh, and I adore your signature! heart

Femio was the guy with the purple hair who was only in one episode. He was constantly going on about how attractive he was, and every time he popped up, rose petals flew around him. Very Tamaki-like. Thanks, it took forever to find a picture I liked. And now nobody recognizes it...

Cloudtania I just saw it... It was okay. Tamaki- Okay but sounded WAY too Ed Elric-ish. All I could think was 'Wait... Is that Ed?! WTF?!' Haruhi- I liked that. She sounded nice. Hunny- SO FREAKING CUTE! I LOVED IT! 8D Kyouya- He sounds like... way over high school. Mori- I didn't really get to hear him... Hikaru & Kaoru- When they were speaking in unison it just didn't sound right. I'm ok with karou but not hikaru.... crying Opening- i can deal with it... (but I've could of done better... Ending- (same thoughts as opening) my thoughts exactally (except the edited stuff)
WAIT DID VIC JUST CALL HARUHI A PIGLET....?????? o.0

Oh my god! You're completely right!! I remember him now, and he is very Tamaki-like. Wow, I can't believe I didn't remember him because I thought that he was hilarious. It makes it even funnier that he was a prince, I think so anyway... Lol. It's been awhile since I have seen it. I will have to go watch it on Veoh again, or wait till my friend brings over her box set, so I can check it out. xd
Yea, I love the picture. I can imagine that it took awhile to find, it's so pretty. Lol, but I recognized it!! I love Princess Tutu. I find that it's not that widely known though. Which is sad, because it's a great anime. I only discovered it and got interested in it because I saw this really well done AMV on it. I had never heard of it before then. sweatdrop
