Otakkun Without Rachel Weisz, and without Imhotep, there was no point in making this movie. I will eventually watch it, just because I like Brenden Fraiser (despite my better inclinations. xD)...but I'm not super excited about this thing. The first one was so badass...but now this movie seems so trivial...
I agree, without Rachel Weisz it was incredibly dissappointing. I honestly think they could have pulled it off without Imhotep, though. But honestly, not having Rachel Weisz in there, and even worse, replacing a well known and loved character with someone that not only doesn't have an identical look, is the biggest mistake they could have made in my book. I think it would have been better to kill her character off and replace her with someone else then to have someone else play Eve. All I was thinking throughout the entire movie was 'Where's Eve? Who is that person? Oh yeah, she's the "new" Eve'. Other then that, it was a pretty good movie, for a sequel.
