Saint Kimo Lolicat von Doom I don't think the movie needs a sequel. I adore Henderson's productions, but I'd rather see a newly imagined universe than something that might not measure up the original. As an aside, does everyone else feel totally devoid of ideas because the media pushes so many remakes on us? I personally feel that as a species, we've really run out of steam in the past five or so years. At least, looking at the film industry... I completely agree with you. The industry is getting stagnant.
Its cuz they're so worried about profit they won't go with anything untried. My mom has a handful of original screenplays that have never made it because they were worried that it wouldn't attract enough people. But besides her, there are tons of original screenplays out there but its all about franchise and no risk enterprises these days. Its just really hard for new people to break into the business and when no fresh talent comes in, yes, it stagnates. Okay, I'm done with mah rant now.
