Takimaru stood up as the class's instructor protested that Ryoko had watched the demonstration. "Ryoko is with me. She was outside on the tree swing and I invited her to come along. I suppose it's my fault that she is here. Sorry sensai." Takimaru scratched the back of his head and chuckled lightly. "I suppose I should explain the importance between the jutsu that I demonstrated and why ninja should improve their abilities with ninjutsu, right?" The instructor nodded with a grin on his face and both hands in his pant pockets. So Takimaru stood and walked over to the instructor with both of his hands in his pockets as well. Looking at each of the students with lit up faces of excitement on how cool the jutsu was to them he smiled back at them. "So where to begin? First I probably should introduce myself. I'm Takimaru Karasutsai and it's a pleasure to help with your ninjutsu education. First, I would like to point out that the actual fundamental principle behind a shinobi's arsenal of jutsu comes primarily from the training and use of ninjutsu." Takimaru walks over to the small pond again and looks at the instructor. The class teacher walks over next to him and Takimaru makes the necessary hand seals for a demonstration of how through proper training and mastering of jutsu that one can create new jutsu that are unique to themselves. "Water Style: Water Prison Jutsu!" Quickly the water of the pond starts forming around the instructor with Takimaru's hand as the pillar of the maintaining the jutsu's form and structure.

"As you can see with the circular shape and structure of the Water Prison Jutsu is close the same shape and structure as my Dragon Shield Jutsu. How I created it was from using amount of water from the Water Prison Jutsu and mixed it with my Lightning element chakra nature to collapse the inside of the prison to allow oxygen inside. As this happens the lightning element of my chakra electrifies the outer water shell and creates a barrier against earth and fire element nature ninjutsu attacks. The two elements combined can even defend against wind or earth element attacks but not a combination of the two. Through proper training of your ninjutsu skills you can cast advanced ninjutsu like Dragon Shield Jutsu." With Takimaru's explanation thoroughly given to the students he grins at the instructor who is nodding at him. However, Takimaru wasn't going to reveal the true purpose behind learning the Dragon Shield Jutsu to them as it was the first step towards another jutsu he was developing himself. Having a barrier shield jutsu is helpful, but having one that does the same job as Dragon Shield and reflects it back at the attacker would be nice. However, such jutsu development he can't do on his own and he hasn't really found a necessary reason to continue the research at this point in time with no conflicts or wars occurring.

The instructor coughs a couple times and smiles warmly at his students. "For now, I want all of you to take the rest of the day off and practice your kunai knife and shuriken throwing at home. Dismissed." As the instructor dismissed class for the day he began talking with Takimaru about his Dragon Style ninjutsu. It was rare that a shinobi would develop such a powerful style of jutsu and about Ryoko. "She has no family. Takimaru sensai, could you look after her? I've got my students to look after and I'm concerned about her." Takimaru wasn't exactly good around teenagers and being how old he is compared to her, it would be one awkward friendship between a genin and jounin. "You know I'm not good with kids and you know I look after anyone in the village that needs a helping hand. Leave it to me." Grinning at the instructor for a moment he then looked over at Ryoko and the small academy girl on her shoulder and gave them a warm smile of amusement. Causally walking over to them he looks at them both before offering them an early dinner and considers it to be a treat for them both. "You two hungry? How about some ramen? My treat!" Grinning at the two of them he started to head towards the academy's courtyard gates to go to the ramen shop he pasted along the way to the school.

Hikari giggles when Ryoko is allowed to stay. Together the two girls watch and listen, and when the instructor dismisses the class Ryoko lets Hikari off her shoulders and lowers her to the ground. Kneeling down to be at the same level as the little girl, Ryoko starts giving detailed questions to Hikari about what Takimaru had said. Each time Hikari answer a question right, Ryoko raised one finger, and each time the little girl was wrong, a finger would go down. After ten questions had been asked, Ryoko had her whole left hand up and one finger on her right hand. She then stood up, and put Hikari on her shoulders again.

"Are you ready?" Ryoko asked, and Hikari, who was clinging to Ryoko's head, gave a small, happy "Yes!" Ryoko bent down one more time, then suddenly did a back flip high in the air, holding Hikari's legs so she wouldn't fall off. As soon as Ryoko's feet touched the ground, she did a second back flip. She continued this 6 times, one back flip for every right question. The whole time, the little girl laughed and giggled. When the sixth back flip was landed, Hikari was in a fit of laughter that she got over in a couple minutes.

As Takimaru walked over to the two girls, Hikari said, "Nee-chan! I wanna be strong like him when I'm older! I wanna have my own jutsu too!!" Ryoko gave a small laugh and replied, "Just keep your grades up, and I'm sure you'll have your very own jutsu in no time."
When Takimaru made the suggestion of earlier dinner, Hikari suddenly gasped. "I forgot, I need to go straight home and help mommy with dinner!" She climbed down from Ryokos shoulders in a hurry. She looks up at Takimaru and says with a giant grin on her face, "I remember what Ryoko-neechan taught me once! She said when you are that strong you have to be a joh... joh..." Hikari suddenly looked up at Ryoko with a confused look. Ryoko quickly mouths Jounin and Hikari finishes her sentence happily- "Jounin! Thank you for the lesson, Mr. Jounin!!" With that, she turns and runs off home. "At least remember someones name!!" Ryoko calls after the little girl.

Ryoko the returns her attention to the Jounin in front of her. "Unlike little Hikari, I don't have anywhere to be, so I'll gladly take you up on that offer." As she follows Takimaru towards the ramen shop, she laughs, saying, "And I thankyou for solving my "Whats for dinner?" question."

As Ryoko left with him he couldn't stop smiling at the memory of once being the age of that little girl and going through the ninja academy. "That girl really looks up to you. Perhaps it's because she believes you're a very strong genin and doesn't have any siblings to play with." The two of them walk around a street corner with Takimaru smiling warmly at her cause of the great mood he is in today but that suddenly vanishes as a man dressed in a black circular straw hat and red lightning bolt patterns on a black cloak. The strangely dressed man glared at Takimaru and then at Ryoko with a grin -- a grin with an intent to kill on the level of a jounin. As Takimaru and Ryoko approached the man he stepped in front of them. "Are you not Takimaru Karasutsai the Dragon Shinobi? The leader of the Elite Twelve Shinobi has ordered me to find and eliminate you." Takimaru held an arm out in front of Ryoko to keep her from getting involved and took a couple steps forward. "Not here in the village. Let's take this out into the forest if you want it to be just the two of us." The strange clothed man exploded into a cloud of white smoke as Takimaru stood there with both of his fists clenched tightly. What in the world is going on here. Who is this man? Takimaru thought and it was someone after him for a reason he couldn't tell. Perhaps it was someone from a previous war that was seeking out vengeance. Then that doesn't explain who the Elite Twelve Shinobi are and their goals.

"Ryoko, I'll be back. I have to take care of something really quick but I'll be back to treat you to dinner for sure. You could say I have to take out the garbage." He didn't look or acknowledge her after that moment of words spoken to her, his body simply exploded into a mist of leaves and he had appeared outside of the village where the strange man had confronted him inside the village. The two of them appeared in a clearing where their battle would begin. It wasn't a surprise to Takimaru that countries would have him in their Bingo Book, however, to send someone after him during a time of peace with direct confrontation as their method means that the shinobi they sent is exceptionally powerful. Caution would merit good results in this kind of situation.

Ryoko laughed. "I don't know what she's thinking somtimes. She once told me I should be hokage, but I'm really not THAT strong... though at the pace she's learning she might be hokage one day," she laughs again, "And for siblings, those kids kinda are siblings... We are all one big family known as the leaf ninja academy students... I guess, haha..."

This is not how I planed by day... but its okay so far... Kinda nice now, Ryoko thinks, rounding the conner with Takimaru. As she see the new cloaked figure, she slows her pace, and her smiling face vanishes. And this is why I hate being a ninja- you can't even get dinner without being challanged, she responds to the cloaked ninjas challange to Takimaru in her head. She kept a straight face through out the rest of the decisions made by the two, but then gave a raised eyebrow and Takimaru told her to stay there.

As he vanishes, Ryoko quickly swips one of the leave out of the air and puts the tip to her lips. "Havn't you been listening, Mr. Jounin?" she says softly, but still out loud. "I'm not the top instruction follower." She smiles to herself, thinking, I'm glad I did indeed put my ninja clothing under my outside wear... and shound't every ninja have a backup in battle?

In a poof of smoke, Ryoko vanishes, quickly stripping of her town clothing behind a tree and fully dressing herself in her ninja clothes. Leaving her around town clothes on the old swing at the school, folded neatly, she ties her bandana on, covering any last visable evident that she is a girl. With that, in another poof of smoke, she follows Takimaru closely, making sure not to be seen, finding herself hidden in a tree along the edge of the clearing. Anyone who is hunting a jounin has denfenatly got something against this village, which means they might know something about my father... Ryoko thinks to herself, a grin going across her face. I'll show myself, but after the battle, unless thing don't go as planned. Either way, if he reconizes the platinum blonde hair and pitch black eyes as a "Kyoraku," I might have some talking to do with this cloaked figure.

(Note- Kyoraku clan members are reconized by thier Platinum Blonde hair and Pitch black eyes.)

Takimaru kept his eyes on the stranger as much as he could. "Tell me your name so I at least know the man that I'm about to kill." Menacing laugh came from the cloaked man as he glares at Takimaru. "Your killer." Those words were all the man needed as his body disappeared and a split second later from the side he was twirling in a horizontal direction a flurry of spinning legs. "What the hell?" Takimaru was extremely shocked at the speed the person had and the taijutsu technique that was being used. The technique is called Dragon Hurricane. An extremely powerful horizontal taijutsu attack that uses tremendous speed to execute the attack. It is hard to block each leg attack because after one is blocked the next follows right after and so on until the speed of the rotation diminishes. It was an attack that he thought he only knew because he developed it himself. So Takimaru never was able to come up with a defense against such a powerful Taijutsu technique. As a result of this fact, Takimaru was hit several dozen times with powerful leg strikes before the speed of the rotation could no longer be sustained. The strange man stood tall laughing at his prey's confused look. "You're probably wondering how I know the Dragon Hurricane, right?"

Takimaru flipped from the ground to his feet with a small trail of blood coming from his mouth. "It doesn't matter how you know it. I will defeat you anyways." This isn't good. If he knows the Dragon Hurricane then there is a chance he knows all of my Dragon Style ninjutsu as well. Takimaru quickly begins to form the hand seals for his own attack in lightning speed: bird, monkey, dog, dragon, boar, horse, rat, tiger, rabbit, rabbit, horse, bird, boar. After Takimaru's last hand seal he raised his right arm to the sky with palm open. "Dragon Style: Dragon Strike Jutsu!" Water was beginning to manifest itself out of the ground and began to collect and mold into the shape of a green dragon that surges with electricity and has glowing red eyes. The dragon immediately began to attack the strangely cloaked man with jet streams of water that carried lightning chakra with it. Takimaru's opponent was simply to fast as each attack from the dragon missed and instead the man had ran so fast with his next attack that the fist had connected directly against Takimaru's right cheek. Such a forceful impact lifted him off the ground and flying through the forest behind him. Breaking a few trees and then rolling along the ground several yards. Of course the man has seen easier opponents than this man, but apparently he knows another one of Takimaru's Dragon Style taijutsu attacks. I've got to do something or he really is going to kill me. Standing slowly to his feet he looked in the directly in which he went flying from and knew without a doubt the man used his Flying Dragon Fist technique. "You've got to be kidding me, right I'd hate to see what his ninjutsu is.."

Takimaru felt a breeze appear right behind him. "I'll let you in on a little secret of mine Takimaru. I possess only taijutsu techniques. I never bothered learning ninjutsu or genjutsu." Takimaru quickly made another series of hand seals: ram, monkey, bird, ox, rabbit, ram, boar. As he holds the last hand seal he had preformed another ninjutsu technique, one that is extremely powerful at close range. "Dragon Style: Claw of One Thousand Dragons!" The attack seemed to connect to the taijutsu specialist, however, something felt wrong about how the attack did damage. Claws of a thousand dragons seemed to have emitted out of Takimaru's body and rip, rape, scratch, and ravage the man's body. However, the problem lies in the fact that it was a Shadow Clone and in a poof of smoke it was gone. The real one was building up chakra and quickly appeared in front of Takimaru. "One Thousand Cracking Fists of Revenge!" Fire had consumed the man's fists and a flurry of fists bombarded Takimaru's body with explosive strength. It wasn't a very long fight and Takimaru had already lost and fell to the ground face first in defeat. Although he hadn't used up all his chakra, his stamina was gone. Anbu Black Ops from the Leaf Village were already aware of this disturbance and were on their way to deal with the situation.

(Note: Anbu Black Ops where black pants, shoes, vest, jacket, feline mask, and a katana on their back.)

Ryoko watched from her spot. I could never take this guy head on, she thought to herself. As she watched, she spotted a few things.
1. Takimaru was suprised at the cloaked mans attacks. They seem strong, but most killers have strong attacks, and thats not surprising. What was so shocking about the attack then?!
2. The cloaked man didn use anything but Taijutsu type attacks. This means he can't use Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, he doesn't want to use ninjutsu or genjutsu, or he doesn't NEED to use ninjutsu or genjutsu.
3. This guy was kicking a jounins butt all over the place! That means he has to be jounin or stronger.
Ryoko made a face at her compiled thoughts. They were NOT turning out good for her.
As Takimaru fell to the ground, Ryoko made a decision. I can't take this guy down, no. I don't think I could land a scratch on him... but maybe I can stop him from killing Takimaru,

In a poof of smoke, Ryoko was suddenly and silently behind the cloaked figure. Before he had a chance to move or notice her, from behind she grabs onto his face, turns him around and kisses him. Souhou Nekki!! Ryoko calls out in her mind, activating her Kekki Genkai. She starts quickly lowering the mans core temperture, concentrating all her chakra on her Kekki Genkai. Her eyes, which had turned an icey blue on the activation of the Kekki Genkai, hazed over as her chakra quickly depleated. After almost three seconds, the cloaked man is compleatly frozen from the inside out, not so it would kill him, but so it would freeze his body from being able to move. That will last about an hour... Ryoko thought, releaseing from the frozen cloaked figure, falling down backwards and passing out due to the loss of chakra.

(Note: Since Ryoko is in her mission clothes, she does not look like herself at all. she actully looks alot like her father, since she dresses like a male on missions.)

The stranger had noticed the girl but little would be able to stop him. The Kekkai Genkai she possessed only was a mere stun for about a minute as he was channeling his chakra to keep his blood pumping through his body at a quickened pace. The fact he was kissed confused him a little but as soon as the effects wore off he looked down at Takimaru and picked him up by the throat. "It looks like the Dragon Shinobi wasn't anything special after all nor is this village." The grip around the neck started to get tighter and at that point several squads of four Anbu Black Ops appeared in the location where the fighting has been occurring. "Oh, look at who decided to show up. I guess this means I should take my leave. Takimaru, you are my prey. You are an example of why my existence in this world will never forgot me. I shall never become a memory." Takimaru was let go and the strange man vanished with a spiraling wind gust around his location being the only thing left behind. Anbu Black Ops moved in closer and picked up Ryoko and helped assist Takimaru in standing. "Master Takimaru, we shall take you both to the hospital immediately and treat any wounds you two endured." Without protest the man nodded to the idea.

It wouldn't take them long to get a room in the hospital, however, they wouldn't stay in the same room. His injuries were more serious than they looked from the outside because Dragon Style taijutsu uses large amounts of chakra to deal not just quick physical outer damage to a person's body but to shatter bones. It's a style of fighting that Takimaru hasn't tought anyone because of the massive amount of stamina and speed required to preform the attacks and with the massive amount of speed needed comes coordination training as well. No student has even come close to the requirements of learning such jutsu from him.

Ryoko suddenly sat up, taking a moment to reconize where she was. She knew she had blacked out, but she suprised herself how quickly she did. Lightly swearing to herself, she jumped out of bed, showing that her chakra had compleatly returned to its normal pattren and that she was fine. Wandering to the nearby bathroom she looked in the mirror, her eyes had returned to their pitch black color.

"I need to learn more," she says to herself, staring the mirror down. "That took more chakra out of me than I thought, and I don't think the ammount of damage that I predicted even got through..." After beating herself up a little more via thoughts and talking to the mirror, she turned around and returned to her room. Looking over at the nightstand next to her bed, she noticed her folded around town clothes with a small note on them. Picking up the note, she read out loud, "I found these folded on the swing. I hope you can come back to school soon, Nee-chan! Love Hikari." Ryoko smiled at the little smiley the academy girl drew. Putting down the card, Ryoko returned to the bathroom and changed into her around town clothes. gathering up her stuff, she exits the room, holding her bag of her mission clothing in one hand, walks to the front desk to ask the women there where she might find Takimaru Karasutsai.

It was the next day when Takimaru woke up in the hospital bed and turned his head from left to right to look around in the room. The ceiling fan was on low and Takimaru's eyes were half open as he was still seriously injured from the attacks of the taijutsu shinobi that he had fought and lost against. If the Anbu Black Ops hadn't shown up like they did, I probably would have been killed. Takimaru had several bruises all over his body as well as a five broken ribs. He would be able to walk in a day or two and back to his training and missions in a week or two after his ribs heal up. It has hard for him to breathe while laying in bed and since it was morning he couldn't help but wonder how Ryoko is doing since he got the crap beat out of him the previous day. A knock at the door came and his head turns towards it to see who enters in and it merely is a nurse who had come in to change his sheets and pillow. It was also time for him to drink his medicine to help with the pain and healing process.

After the nurse had left him, he was sitting up in the bed with his back against the wall for support. Takimaru looked like a mummy with the amount of bandages on his body. He was already exhausted from just sitting up and maintaining his breathing. A couple coughs came from him with the feeling of the medicine taking effect on his body and mending his battered body from a ten minute fight that he horribly lost in. To genin, it might be some what of a surprise to see someone as powerful as a jounin like Takimaru get beaten down so easily. Such is part of the life of a shinobi.

Watching Hikari run off home, Ryoko, who had spent that day teasing the teacher of the academy through the window stood next to the old swing. "When I asked yesterday..." she said softly to herself, They said I couldn't see him until today... she finishes the sentence in her mind. "I hope he's okay... I'l stop by Hikari's family's flower shop on the way there and get him something..." Ryoko walked out of the school yard, pleased with her idea, dressed in her around town clothing.

At the shop she walked in and chatted with Hikari a little, and while buying three daffodils wrapped with a white ribbon she talked with Hikari's mother some. Waving goodbye, Ryoko left the shop and walked towards the hospital.

"If I tell him I followed him, he most likely will get mad at me... good thing I have talent at telling lies, hee hee!" Ryoko giggles to herself, entering the hospital. With the grace of the head nurse, Ryoko walks down the hall to Takimaru's room, gives two light knocks on the door, slides the door open a bit and peeks in, asking "Are you awake...?"

Coughing a couple times as the knocks came to the door, he looked over to the door as Ryoko peeked in. Eyes half open and breathing heavy as he relaxed against the wall with the pillow at his lower back for support. The moment he recognized her he smiled warmly at her face and smiled warmly. "Yo." Takimaru looked extremely battered from the fight and having to feel the damage his own taijutsu techniques used on himself was an extremely stressful feeling. "I see you're alright. Sorry about yesterday. Seems like I got lucky some how." He couldn't help but chuckle lightly at his statement and current physical condition.

"So what brings you to the hospital? I'm sure it isn't to see an old man like me." His statement that he just said made him chuckle a little bit as he is only thirty-four and that seems hardly old enough to be considered an old man. However, at least he is an experienced man in life and not just the battlefield. Takimaru never expected visitors outside of nurses and medical shinobi that work in the hospital. It was kind of a nice treat to have in a small way.
PostPosted: Wed Mar 18, 2009 7:05 pm
Ryoko smiles, entering. "Actually, I did come to see you. You never returned yesterday, so I assumed something bad had happened, and this morning sensei told me that you were in the hospital," she lies through her teeth with a straight face, walking over to the bed side, hiding the flowers behind her back. When she reaches the side of the bed she comments, "You look like a mummy," while pulling the flowers out from behind her back. "Here, there's one from me, one from Hikari, and one from Hikari's mother, who says Hikari has been practicing harder since that day you did the demo," Ryoko says, smiling.

I want to know what I didn't know from the battle, Ryoko thinks to herself. "Mind telling me what happened?" she asks Takimaru. Why were you so shocked at that guys attacks...? she asks him though her thoughts, sitting down on a nearby chair.

The girl seemed to be very aware of his condition and the general information of his encounter with the strange shinobi that rolled Takimaru all over the forest floor like he was a genin. "I suppose I do look like a mummy. You could put the flowers in the vase on the window ledge if you want and thanks for the flowers. They look beautiful." Takimaru gave the best smile he could in his exhausted condition. As for the matter of what happened, it was a matter of where the strangely dressed shinobi came from and why he used Takimaru as a measurement of the village's overall strength. Wouldn't the Hokage be a better testament of the village's overall battle strength? There were things Takimaru wishes he knew and questions he wanted answered. Dragon Style jutsu was what Takimaru was known for and someone that had duplicated without any person being tought the techniques directly from him seemed to be haunting him. Takimaru would, of course, hide this from Ryoko with a warm smile as he begins his explanation of yesterday's events.

"I'm not really sure what happened. He apparently read though all of my attacks and his counter attacks were flawlessly executed. Whoever the person is, he is a highly skilled shinobi that some how knows my Dragon Style jutsu enough to counter attack it perfectly. For example, he used two taijutsu techniques on me that only myself knows. The Dragon Hurricane and Flying Dragon Fist. What makes my taijutsu different from regular taijutsu is that I pour and mold my chakra nature around my attacks to maximize my physical damage to the person. I'll take the Dragon Hurricane as an example. It uses extremely high taijutsu speed to accelerate a rotation attack of the person's legs in a horizontal direction towers the target. The closer the technique is implemented the more damage is caused. My taijutsu techniques are extremely dependent on the user for the level of effectiveness during the execution process. This is because the faster the horizontal rotation speed of the Dragon Hurricane the more damage the target will sustain." Perhaps it was too long of an explanation of how one of his flashy taijutsu techniques work for a mere genin to understand. The side effect of such powerful taijutsu techniques are abnormal amounts of fatigue and stress on the body's joints and muscles. No normal shinobi would be able to preform more than a couple of Dragon Style taijutsu in a row without feeling their body strain under the stress of such devastating techniques.

A nurse knocked at the door and slid the door open and came in with a tray of food for Takimaru to eat. "Master Karasutsai, it's time for you to eat." The tray was placed in his lap and he looked at the meal's contains and nodded in approval. The nurse left with a smile at both of them warmly before she left them alone in the room. Takimaru noticed there was two slices of warm bread with butter on them, an apple, a plate of eggs and sausage with a waffle covered in maple syrup. The glass that was on the tray looked like some kind of green juice but was more of a medical herb drink to help repair his body more in combination with his previous medicine. Signing lightly, the Hokage would probably chew Takimaru out for getting so badly beaten by a rogue shinobi. The level of difference between him and that shinobi were was to wide of a gap. Takimaru's brain was already at work in formulating a plan to counter such an opponent in the future.

Ryoko set the flowers in the vase and returned to her seat. Listening to Takimaru explained alot about the battle she didn't pick up from watching. It was obvious now that the shock Takimaru displayed in battle was due to his own personal moves being used against him. Ryoko didn't compleatly understand Takimaru's long explenation of the attacks, but being to the academy many times, whether it was to learn or to entertain the class via window, she was skilled in picking jutsus apart. Ah, I remember seeing something like that... Ryoko thought, remebering all of the battle between the two. But if its Takimaru's attack, how does this other Shinobi know it...?

Ryoko started to slowly run ideas in her head on how this other shinobi knew that attaks. Did he have a kekki genkai that allowed him to replecate jutsus? Was he trianed in the art of copying jutsus? Was he an ex-leaf villager that Takimaru somehow taught the attacks to? Or maybe... Ryoko pulled her legs and feet up into her chest, looking at the floor with a emotionless face, one of the habits she had when in deep thought. Soon after, her second habit happend- with out trying to, her Kekki genkai activated and her body temperture started to lower, her eyes turning a snow white.

When the nurse entered, Ryoko slowly looked up and follow the nurses movements with her white eyes. As the nurse left the room, Ryoko's eyes fixed onto Takimaru. After a bit, Ryoko moved her head and spoke softly, "The food won't help you any sooner if you keep stairing at it, Mr. Jounin."

Looking up at Ryoko after her food comment and gave her a warm smile. "I guess you're right." As the man ate he enjoyed her company and the silence in between her speaking despite how tired he is. Takimaru chewed on a sausage link as he stares out the window to some birds playing on the window ledge. "I don't think that shinobi from yesterday is alone nor is he done pursuing me. He said his my killer when I asked him his name." Takimaru gave Ryoko a soft chuckle like it wasn't a big deal or anything of the nature. A shinobi other than himself that knows Dragon Style taijutsu, also called Hyper Speed Fist Style to Takimaru. Looking back down at the tray of food he continued to eat slowly and enjoyed every bite.

As Takimaru looks at Ryoko with his eyes half open, he smirks for a moment with a question that hasn't came to his attention earlier. "Why haven't you taken the Chunin Exams yet?" Hopefully she isn't the lazy type and I hope I don't get stuck training her when I get a squad. Would be so troublesome. It was a legitimate question that someone would ask her and it was something he would need to know since she told him yesterday she was waiting to be placed in a squad with a jounin team captain. Perhaps it was a good thing that he didn't tell her yet he has no squad at the moment. The thought did leave a grin on his face with a couple soft chuckles coming out. At least she was the thoughtful type that visits people in the hospital. Based on her answer to his Chunin Exams question would determine if she was at all a worthy choice for his training approach and methods towards strengthening his students. However, only a couple groups have actually passed training under him because of how he treats his students.
