Title's the same as the film's. I've heard that it's better than The Da Vinci Code as a novel, but to be honest, that doesn't really tell me much beyond 'it's not a stylistic abomination.'

I quite frankly have NO IDEA what people [critics] are talking about when they say this movie is/was awful.
I'd not read the novel version but my mother had, and she said it was wonderful [pending a few novel-to-film adaptations]. I LOVED this movie and can't wait for it to release on DVD.

I also thought the soundtrack was wonderful. The opening piece was gorgeous.

I have yet to read either DaVinci Code or Angels and Demons (but I do own them to read in the future) and I thought the movies were excellent. They contained the suspense needed to make it a good movie and Robert Langdon was a perfectly realistic character. Working with a professor of a specific field of study, he's extremely knowledgable in his field. Once I read the books I'll come back and give my opinion again. ^_^
