If I could afford it would be a PC gamer but since I'm poor and hate all the DRM that is going into most games I just stick to the X-Box 360 I own. I would branch to the PS3 but I already have so many 360 games that it would cost to much to switch. I've recently had a case of the anti-Microsoft's since most of since all the products made by them conspired with each other and broke all that same time. OS, Zune, and 360 all died, fixed 2/3 xbox and OS but poor little zune had to be buried in electronic heaven (garbage can).
I enjoy PC gaming because of the mod's that are developed by the community that enjoys a game as much as you. Even once a game is beat it has value that is only limited to your imagination and your willingness to work on creating more for the game.
