"Gardevoir has her faults, like she gets jealous really esily." Al smirked, making the pokemon blush. "I-I do not! I'm just protecting you!" Gardevoir protested. "You'll hafta forgive Pikachu, he was the pokemon stealing power from the powerplant 3 years ago. I'm still trying to reform him." Al noticed to Fulgrim and grinned. "That's right. I made it to the Quarterfinals 3 years ago, and I'm making a come back!" Al told Fulgrim and everyone else.

Raskal watched as trainer and pokemon alike disembarked from the massive ship and onto the docks. He picked up his pack and tightened the bandana around his head to keep it from blowing away with the winds rolling in off the ocean. Choosing not to summon any of his pokemon just yet, he stepped down from the deck onto the stairs leading down to the dock. He knew it would be better this way. Looking at the four pokeballs on his belt he whispered, "Don't want to attact any unwanted attention after all," and stepped down onto the platform, trying his best to blend in with the crowd.

"Its ok, Primeape can get angry easily, its in his nature as a primeape." Kage said with a smile and looked at Fulgrim "Yep, I was in it years ago and I came back with a team full of stronger pokemon, right primeape?"
Primeape was busy trying to get the pikachu to listen to Kage. Kage gentle petted Primeape's head and Primeape closed his eyes and smile "Prime....ape" He said softly, loving the way Kage petted his head.
"Hes a big furry hairball of doom with a soft spot" Slowking said as he laughed.

Gardevoir agreed and laughed as well. "The same with Pikachu."
"So guys, I wanna see something, how about a two on two battle? Me against you, Kage? If your participating in the league, I need to see if I'm going to have a worthy rival." He smirked, Gardevoir smiled at her master's confidence, while he grabbed Floatzel's and Blaziken's pokeballs.

"Sure, sounds like fun" Kage said as he reach in and grabbed Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee pokeballs. "I choose Hitmonlee and Hitmonchan!"
In a bright flash the Hitmon brothers appeared. Hitmonlee flexed his legs and practiced kicking in the air.
Hitmonchan came out and looked around as he Practiced with Hitmonlee. The two dodge each other's kicks and pucnhes as they excerised.
"Chan, Lee, get ready to fight" kage said
The two brother looked at Kage and bowed before turning towards Al.
"Oh god, these two Kage?" Slowking sighed "All they do is fight and train, no fun"
"Well they are strong none the less" Kage said in their defense.

The moment he had his feet firmly planted on dry ground, Raskal began to cut a direct route through the crowd to the center of town. He hadn't been to Vermillion City in quite some time and had a few stops he wanted to make before continuing on his way. The first of which being the pokemon center. From there he could give his pokemon a quick check-up while he took care of things elsewhere in town.
As he made his way through the streets Raskal scanned the crowd, occasionaly looking back over his shoulder to make certain he wasn't being followed. Then he stopped abruptly, and took a deep breath. "Take it easy... you're going to get yourself worked up over nothing," he told himself. The blonde haired trainer fixed his gaze on the buildings along the street in front of him and focused on the large PC sign just a few blocks away. With the pokemon center now in sight, Raskal straightened himself and started off again.

"Now we're talking! Floatzel! Blaziken!" He tossed the pokeballs, and in a flash of light, Blaziken appeared, kicking the air as he fell to the ground, landing firmly. Floatzel back flipped in the air, landing on his hands and then landing on his tails. "Those two? THis could be messy." Gardevoir sighed, watching the battle.

"I guess are Trainers are alike huh?" Slowking said as he steped back "This can get very messy."
Kage smirked at Floatzel and Blaziken "Nice pokemon" Kage said "Now Chan, Thunderpunch on Floatzel! Lee, Mega kick to Blaziken!"
Chan's right glove started to glow yellow then cackle then electricty sparked around Hitmonchan's hand as he ran and punched at Floatzel.
Hitmonlee ran at Blaziken and jumped in the air. He swirl twice before his left foot started to glow white and kicked at Blaziken as hard as he could.
"Who do you think will win?" Slowking asked Gardevoir.

DING, chimed the sliding glass doors as they parted to allow Raskal entrance to the pokemon center. He stepped inside and looked around, noting several changes made to the set up from the last time he was here. Never-the-less he knew that small distractions like decor weren't important and that he was here for his pokemon's benefit, not that of his sence of interior decorating.
A few quick strides later the youth was standing at the counter as a beaming nurse joy took the tray with his pokemon on it into the back room for treatment. "We'll have your pokemon fighting fit in no time!" She said.
"Thanks Nurse Joy, could you check for poison on my Eevee too while you're at it? We had a nasty fight with a few Gloom the other day you see..."
"Don't worry a bit," she interrupted. "You're Eevee is in good hands with me."
Satisfied with her answer, Raskal waved goodbye promising to return shortly. He felt a bit akward walking out without any pokemon with him, but he didn't expect to be long with his errands so he shrugged it off and went on his way.

"Blaziken, somersault to the left and counter with Blaze Kick! Floatzel, jump up and use Agility!"
"It could end either way." Gardevoir sat next to SlowKing.
Floatzel jumped up, using his tails to propel him up and quickly vanished to various spots, trying to confuse Chan.
Blaziken did as commanded and somersaulted, but landed on his claws, swinging his flaming clawwed foot at Lee.

"Lee counter it with your blaze kick!" Kage ordered "Chan, focus on him then use another thunderpunch!"
Hitmonlee's oor moved so fast it caught on fire and perried with Blaziken's blaze kick, ending up in a fire explosion. Lee was lung in the air but he landed on his feet.
Chan watched as Floatzel vanished and appeared all around the place then jumped up and Punched at where he thought he would appered his his fist of thunder.

Floatzel was pushed back, shaking off the thunderpunch that it him.
Blaziken landed on his feet, brushing off the dust.
"Floatzel, Aqua Jet, Tower style! Blaziken, Close Combat!" Al ordered.
Floatzel charged his Aqua Jet and started to spiral up into the sky, surrounding Chan and charging downward at full speed.
Blaziken ran up and started to rapidly kick and punch at Lee.

A short while later, Raskal exited the pokemart, carrying a fresh cache of pokeballs, potions, and an escape rope in his pack. He decided then that it was time to catch up with his old friends at the Pokemon Fan Club in town. It was on the way to the Pokemon center anyway so he really had no excuse not to.
"Jace! Is that really you?" Exclaimed Sue, the young freckle faced girl who opened the door when he arrived at the club-house. She rushed to wrap her arms around his waist and hug him tightly. "You never said goodbye last time you jerk!"
"Sorry squirt," he said appologeticaly. "Did you at least get the present I sent you over the summer?"
"Yeah I love my new Clefairy doll!" She squealed excitedly before hugging him again.
"Great, I'm glad you like it. Where's Arthur?" He asked.
"He's inside blabbering about his Rapidash again to some new guy. Will you play with me later? Pleeeease Jace?" She looked up at him with big glossy eyes that always melted the toughened trainer's heart.
"Of course I will." Raskal answered, prying himself away from the little girl and walking inside. "Just give me a few minutes with your uncle first." He made his way across the foyer and into the main room, casting his gaze over the old man eccentricaly dressed in a top hat busily chatting up a young boy in the corner. Sensing that the boy wasn't at all interrested in hearing the man's speech, Raskal cleared his throat to announce himself.
"...and of course it's mane is so warm to the touch..." The old man paused mid-sentence and looked up, his jaw dropping at the sight of the young man standing in the doorway.

Lee got beat left and right before he back fliped from Blaziken's range.
Chan tried to jumped out of the way but was hit in his back by the Aqua Jet. Chan got up slowly and glared at Floatzel.
"Oh this isn't good" Slowking said, seeing Chan's glare.
"Chan, mega punch now! Hitmonlee, use Mega kick!" Kage said smiling, not haveing a worthy opponent in a while.
Chan charged at Floatzel as his fist glowed a bright white and punch as hard as he could at Floatzel.
Lee charged at Blaziken at his top speed then jumped and kicked his his glowing white foot!

"Blaziken, OverHeat Launch! Floatzel, Aqua Jet head on!"
Blaziken turned red and blasted a huge burst of fire to the ground, launching himself higher.
Floatzel backflipped and used Aqua Jet, facing the Mega Punch head on.
