Her voice is not that great and her music is boring. I do give her props for writing her own music though. "You belong with me" might have been good if someone else sang it.

I think any girl who tries to defame taylor swift is just jealous of her. She seems like a genuinely sweet person, and she does have talent. Thank god she isnt a whore. I respect her for that.

I like a lot of her songs too. They definitely have that you can easily relate concept, but they're seriously overplayed on the radio.

My favorites are Mary's Song (Oh My, My, My), Breathe, and You're Not Sorry. And Tim McGraw. They all have really sweet lyrics.

Sleeping wonder lies to me, and the lies are sweet.

I think she's reasonably talented, but after hearing her songs all day long on the radio, sometimes I can't stand her.
She's admittedly a pretty good person; a better role model than Miley Cyrus, and look which one's on Disney....
Plus, her songs are more than just repeating the same four sentences over and over again -_- *cough cough* Rihanna *cough cough*

The first time I heard Swift's songs I was like, omfg this is awesome! But gradually when I happened to listen to more of her songs, she sounded the same in all of them. The new song that came out called 'December' is exactly about boys and fairytales, like all the other singles. Don't get me wrong, I think she's still a great singer, but she needs to change the subject.

Honestly? I think she's very overrated.

She's got a boring voice, and her music is pretty flat- it doesn't change much, making her style of music... dull.
She's pretty, don't get me wrong, but it's her looks that sells her music in my opinion.

She's kind of my guilty pleasure when it comes to music.
Normally I don't listen to that kind of music AT ALL but she's got some cute songs and she seems pretty genuine.

And just because you don't like her, doesn't mean she sucks.
And who cares if she's overrated? The Beatles are the most overrated band ever but everyone loves them.
